Since these networks are new to CaliStyle101, it’s much harder for veteran traders to get these sites added to their portfolios, since many of you have greened on so many different sites in the past. Normally, our policy is not to allow Free Greens. However, after a number of discussions, we’ve decided that it would be beneficial for everyone if we allowed Free Greens on these networks for a very limited time period. This is one of those “Grab it while you can” opportunities, and a way to expand your QuickStart Portfolio.

So, starting today, Featured Sites are allowed to promote Free Greens until Next Week Sunday, November 22nd. I would encourage you to check out the subforums of InnovusNet and MoneyBonanzas as they will be posting information pretty soon as to how you can go about claiming your Free Greens (and they will probably have some other goodies there too). I will also be updating this blog post when the promotions are announced.

REMEMBER THAT THE FREE GREEN DEADLINE IS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND

For any newer traders out there that might not know what a Free Green is, What that means is that you don’t have to complete any offers. You can just start referring people (method 2) and cashing out.

Part of the reason for us wanting that to be the case is because we have great members who provide constant feedback, which gives us the motivation we need to continue working on different features, providing resources and expanding opportunities.

This month is a month of change. The longer we run the forum, the more we learn about what it takes to make our goal a reality. We’ve made tremendous progress in the 6 months since the relaunch of CaliStyle101 and we thank you for sticking with us through this process.

WOOOHOOOOOOOO. This is the one that I’m most excited about. I’ve been Looking forward to this for almost a year now. The new mentoring site concept is complete, and you can ALL get a Mentoring Blog built by yours truly. This is a great resource for you to have. Featured Networks

We would like you to join us in welcoming the newest additions to our featured networks. InnovusNet and MoneyBonanzas. We believe that those networks have what it takes to provide a great experience for our members and we are excited for what is to come from these networks. If you haven’t started trading with them as yet, now is a great time to start.

The new Quickstart Subforum

This is something we’ve been looking forward to for a while. When new traders come to CaliStyle101, they will be directed (via a video) to find a mentor in the Quickstart subforum. There are three requirements to being able to have a trade thread in that subforum:

1. You must be a Silver Member
2. You must have completed AT LEAST 3 trades on Featured Sites
3. Only Featured Sites can be traded in the quickstart subforum

This change allows for us to offer more value to both the Silver Members and Featured Networks – our strongest supporters. Because of their support, we have been able to implement many of the changes you enjoy today.

Since these are new requirements, ALL silver members who have had 3TR at CaliStyle101 before the time of this posting have been automatically upgraded to be able to start a trade thread there. We are asking you all to go ahead and start a trade thread there, so that we can get the forum populated and make a Quickstart Video tomorrow showing new Traders the process.

Also, if you are a Silver Member and have gone green on 3 featured sites elsewhere, please contact ChrisDeals with that info, he will research it and upgrade your account. HOWEVER, YOU ONLY HAVE UNTIL THIS FRIDAY TO DO SO. After Friday, the regular procedure will apply for everyone.

Everyone is free to trade in the Cash for Referrals and Referrals for Referrals subforums as usual.

Ever since I started in the Freebie Industry, I’ve gotten to see that Online Business is very dynamic. So much to keep in mind and so much to learn. The Freebie Industry is no different where that is concerned. It has seen a number of changes, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Earlier this year, the Freebie Industry went through some changes that has caused a slow down in Forum Trading. This has been felt by so many freebie sites and forum members all across the board.

We are proud to say that in the midst of everything that has occurred, trades at CaliStyle101 is at an all-time high. A number of you have been commenting on the increase in new trader activity, and even new traders are moving on to method 2 and getting their own referrals right here at CaliStyle101. This has shown us something – What we are doing is working and if we continue working on making it better, CaliStyle101 can help the industry reach to new heights. It will take some work, but we’re up to the task!

Ok, now I know you’ve been waiting for the big announcement of the 15th. However, it’s probably not what you thought it would be. As we were putting together everything that we’ve been working on, we realized that we couldn’t make the announcement in a simple blog post. Then we thought about doing a Teleconference. Then we realized that a teleconference wouldn’t even work for it.

We need to tell you AND show you what the new developments are. I know what you guys are thinking. That guy Leslie (The Freebie Guy) is such a tease. I must admit, I am a tease. This is what we are going to do. On Sunday at 7pm EST, we will be hosting a LIVE webinar, so that we can talk to you and SHOW you some things. So whats happening around CaliStyle101

It has been five months since we relaunched CaliStyle, and we are continuing to grow. We are seeing many new faces in the forum, building their Trader Ratings, and becoming active members. In September we have surpassed the 20,000 mark for members, and our completed trades have increased more then 40% since August. This is very encouraging and gives us even more motivation to continue working hard.

We are currently working on some new features and will make an announcement on October 15th.  These new features are inline with our goals of making CaliStyle more than a Freebie Trading forum. They are meant to increase membership, participation and teach members exact strategies on how to make money online. So stay tuned . . .

Just a reminder to all our members that if you are the one getting the referral, it is your responsibility to put the name of the trade in the feedback. Otherwise, we won’t be able to tell if the trade was on a featured site and then you won’t be able to get paid. I’m not saying who, but someone missed out on $25 for not saying who it was

Wow, August was indeed an eventful month, both personally and business-wise. On the personal side, I’m back at work teaching, molding young minds on a day-to-day basis. On the business side, there have been a lot happening at CaliStyle101 that we wanted to address

As many of you know, the Freebie Industry took a hit back in March. Since then, the most talked-about issue has been TRAFFIC. Freebie Trading forums have ALL been working hard to try to replace the traffic that once flooded the industry. All of these forums (as far as we can tell) have been earnestly trying to generate traffic.

We have also been working on traffic in various ways. Some of the methods that we have been using are Free methods, and others are paid. If there’s one thing we (Chrisdeals and myself) know from our past experiences is that traffic does not happen overnight. It takes a LOT of planning, energy and even money.

How has the traffic been?

It has been going very well. For a forum that was relaunched four months ago, the level of traffic we’ve been able to accomplish has been pretty good, especially when you consider the standard when it comes to Internet Marketing. On the flip side, it is not as high as the industry is used to. That’s a process that takes time to develop. However, we are confident that if we continue with the plans we have been implementing, CaliStyle101 will be the industry leader.

Featured Sites

Featured Sites at CaliStyle101 are featured for a number of reasons. These have been leaders in the industry, delivering excellent support, great crediting and just all in all high quality service. In addition to those important factors, these are sites that financially support the forum because they see the potential and want to help CaliStyle101 become the Best forum in the industry.

That being said – the featured sites have not been doing well recently. In fact, most Freebie Sites in the industry have not been doing too well due to the changes that have been happening. This poses a problem because the Freebie Sites drive the industry and if they don’t do well, no one does well.

As a result of these things, some of the featured sites have decided not to continue being featured at CaliStyle101. This is a business decision that some sites have had to make due to the current climate of the industry – some with the hopes that things will pick up so that they can continue.

We want our featured sites to do VERY well, because if they continue to thrive, that will be a strong driving force behind the success of this Community. To help this to happen, we are making some changes that we believe will help the Featured Sites that remain in a significant way.

• We are Closing the “Other Freebie Networks” subforum. We’ve thought long and hard about this and have decided that this would be in the best interest of our Featured Sites.
• We will be holding a weekly $25 raffle for all trades conducted on Freebie Sites. This promotion will be continued until further notice and will be one of our standard promotions.
• We are Guaranteeing Trades on Featured Sites that are conducted with Silver Members. Basically if you are a silver member and someone trades with you, they can have 100% confidence that they will make money when a trade is completed. We believe that this Iron Clad Guarantee will motivate new traders to follow through with you guys in a way that will increase your success rate.

These changes will be happening over the next few days and should be completed by Monday.

The fact is that it takes money to do what we are trying to do, and we do not apologize for trying to make CaliStyle101 the best. The featured sites financially support the forum and we want to work with them to deliver value to you.
