Students use Revit Architecture 2009 to learn about building information modeling and the tools for parametric building design and documentation. Students begin the three-day course by learning the fundamental features of Revit Architecture 2009, and then progressing through schematic design and construction documentation, before finishing with design visualization. Students should be able to complete their first Revit Architecture project after completing this course.This course offers both imperial and metric hands-on exercises representing real-world design scenarios.

Prerequisites: No previous CAD experience is necessary. However, before using this courseware, the student should have a working knowledge of architectural design, drafting, or engineering principles.

Revit Architecture 2009 - Intermediate - Creating Family Content (Arch.)
Course length: 1 day Cost: $395
This is a one day class on creating custom family content and modifying existing content. The activities in this training session will expand your knowledge of the Family Editor by introducing those unique features in Revit Architecture . Parametric Component Design Techniques, Families, the Family Editor and Creating Families are part of this class. The participant should have a working knowledge of Revit Architecture and experience with the actual components that you will be modeling.

Prerequisites: The student enrolling in this class should have a working knowledge of the Revit Architecture platform.
