Avelino Lara 80th
This cigar claims to be full-flavored creation comprised of the finest, aged tobaccos. Hand-selected leaves aging in true Cuban fashion since – in many cases – 1995. A complex mixture of vintage long-fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, Brazil, and Costa Rica marries inside a feisty Ecuador Habano binder. On the outside, a gorgeous Sumatra [...]

Guaranteed
I found Guaranteed Jamaican cigars to be smooth, mild and mellow with an easy draw. I prefer a relaxing smoke and this cigar is just that, relaxing. This would be a cigar I’d recommend to someone new to cigar smoking. It definitely has a laid-back taste.

I made this suggestion to Audible and Amazon but Apple is an absolute nightmare of hoops to jump through to make a recommendation, or I’m just missing something obvious. Anyway, I read physical books and ebooks as well as listen to them. There should be a way for me to flag a book as [...]

Gurkha 1887
The Gurkha 1887 has a good pre-light draw with a slightly sweet nutty scent. Consistent and firm. Burns well producing a solid stack of ash. Mild the whole way through. $8 a stick.

Gurkha Legend
The leaf was mildly spicy and the draw was good. A black cherry note with a taste of spicy, earthy flavors. And… a hint of licorice if I’m not mistaken. $7.50

CAO Gold Maduro
The CAO Gold Maduro boast a mellow combination of Nicaraguan tobaccos wrapped in a dark toothy Brazilian Maduro leaf that is chewy and medium-bodied in flavor with hints of coffee that is creamy. Burned even and well. This is one of just a few cigars that I’ve smoked down to the nub.

CAO Gold
I enjoyed the smoothness of this one. Very smooth! It is well constructed; the ash stayed intact until I bumped it off approximately 2/3rds of the way through. Wow. This cigar burned good a little faster than most. To me, that’s not a bad thing. I just noticed that I smoked it in under [...]

Antano 1970
The Joya De Nicaragua Antano 1970 cigar is a smooth smoke! I picked up a couple in Mexico to sample and wow, what a find. It began with a smooth sweet smoke that progressed into coffee-cream and a bit of cedar and ended in a substantial but smooth-creamy powerful, but not harsh, tobacco. $7.25 for [...]
