Just so you know – Bring the Fresh 2012 isn’t just another e-book. Although if it were – the Fast Start Guide is more than worth the price. When you join Bring the Fresh 2012 you get much more than just an e-book. You have access to videos, bonuses, behind the scenes info and the member forums. You get all of this for the one single payment as a basic member. To access even more videos, features and benefits you need to join as a full disclosure member which at this time is an additional six monthly payments – which is very cool. So many sites require a monthly membership FOR EVER. Bring the Fresh 2012 you are a member for life after those six payments. (And FYI if you are keyword impaired, like I am, Full Disclosure is the way to go – you will not believe what you have access to on the Full Disclosure Members Only Boards!!)

So, I joined as a Full Disclosure Member, because sometimes I need a little extra help, and I really do love those $7 trial memberships!

Once I logged in, I went straight to the Fast Start Guide – because I do love my e-books. I printed it out (yes I print out e-books), put it in a binder and sat down at my computer to go through it step by step. Here’s where you need to be careful and where I messed up BIG TIME. When I got to a part I didn’t quite understand or didnt’ have the tools downloaded yet – I just kept going. I know, it’s crazy. I went through, picked a keyword using Google only, bought a domain with hyphens in it (it’s a .net – so at least I didn’t mess up there) and set up my website using a template that they didn’t recommend (I didn’t like the ones they recommended – and hey they make millions a month and I don’t so I know what’s best – right?)

Yep, you read right, I jumped right in and started changing things to suit my needs. Which would be fine if I was already making money like they are, but not so fine otherwise. I mean if I wasn’t going to trust them to teach me, then why did I pay money and waste paper printing off their e-book and waste my time reading it?

Well, lesson learned. I threw in the towel, took a day off to recollect myself and decided to go back and do it right. Stay tuned to see how that turned out!

I had heard about Bring the Fresh by Kelly Felix and Mike Long several years ago and was very interested, but also very broke, so I let the opportunity pass. Then recently they released a new version – Bring the Fresh 2012 and offered a great WSO (Warrior Special Offer) that I couldn’t refuse – and so I went ahead and took the plunge.

I had read another Internet Marketer’s case study of Bring the Fresh and so I knew that I wanted the Full Disclosure version, and luckily it was available through a payment plan as well (I love payment plans). And to help my readers get ahead of the learning curve and make as much money as soon as possible (kids are only young once!), I decided to walk through everything that I did, step by step – to help you achieve the success you want!

First of all – is it worth it? Well for me absolutely YES!! As I mentioned earlier – they had a payment plan available – which for me is great. I used to only have a small amount of money set aside for things like this – and actually it seemed like I’d be able to stay home if I’d just try to stop making money at home because it seems I had wasted so much money on this course, that course, this will make you rich, this will work, try this, etc, etc, etc. Sort of an Internet Marketers ADD (no offense to those who actually have ADD). But I never seemed to be able to focus or stay with anything long enough to make it pay me back. So right there, even if all they wanted was my money – they made it manegable for me with the payment plan.

To give you an overview of Bring the Fresh – here’s a few Q&A with one of the owners, Mike Long:

Below is a video he made for my audience but I also asked him some specific questions via email. I’ll give you those details here first, showing you his answers to my questions.

1. Is BTF still doable post-Panda?

Yes! We’ve actually been anticipating these changes for quite a while and Kelly updated the fast start guide to reflect anything that we might have overlooked. Panda is about the same thing that Google’s been pushing for years – content. They aren’t thrilled with sloppy obviously phony blog networks either…so of course we steer people clear of signing up for those or making their own. A big thing to know is stuff we focus on still ranks. Same for our customers. I think Mike Swanson is still top 5 for Stock Trading for example.

2. What’s new about BTF 2012 that wasn’t in there before?

Big updates include the fast start guide (which we keep current) and a lot of additions to the fast start and new videos in the one article to rule them all area. We also give away two very nice done for you bonuses. I’ll detail those below as well.

3. Is it still Core versus Full Disclosure – and what’s in each one?

Yes there’s still a core vs full disclosure. Everybody gets the updates I’m discussing in the video and detailing below, but we update Full Disclosure constantly throughout the year. It would take a very long email to tell you the updates to full disclosure just from recent months. But suffice to say nothings changed – it’s constantly updated.

Mike added more information to the email that I had not asked about, so here are his additional details (this is all him talking here):

I want to detail some of the most popular additions for BTF 2012 for you.

There are 3 major areas things have changed for both basic and full disclosure members. So from here on in I’ll focus on those.

A) the fast start guide is current and spot on (as always).

B) Fast start videos. Here’s an extensive blog post that I wrote in the BTF forum. We’re keeping the specifics of the Launch Jacking Sequels listed below under our hat for marketing purposes. (More info in the video).

We also have another big change I mentioned before. The 1-article to rule them all bonus has 3 brand new videos of me writing a brand new one article from scratch in the market that’s most popular with BTFers…the make money online market. In the first video I also include a short but juicy lesson on why and how Google works now and why it will keep working the same way.

The quick rundown on the lesson is this. If you think about a hot party or night club…like Studio 54 in the 1970s in NYC, then there’s a huge line to get in, and most people won’t get in. But plenty of people do and it’s a cool party. The owners are who decide who gets in. Google is the same thing. Except instead of it being a “cool” party like Studio 54, Google is a big profit party.

There’s so much fear surrounding this update or that update. But the reality is somebody still ranks. It’s not like Google says, “New update, we’re not giving results for “kidney diet” or “stock trading” any more!

SOMEBODY ranks. And because of the open source nature of the internet Kelly and I do what we’ve been doing to get free traffic for years…we look at who else is getting free traffic and why with tools like Open Site Explorer, which lets us see what links people have and the Wayback Machine which tells us what the chronological history of improvement of a site is.

We encourage our customers to take a look at these things too – though in reality lets face it, one of the big reasons they pay us is so we can do that legwork for them, and provide a current, fresh, and above all EXACT and EFFECTIVE step-by-step blueprint for doing what we do…along with our unique custom tool set and a tremendous community by way of our 65,000 post forum where, as you know, Kelly and I are extremely active.

We also note that 1-article to rule them all is the primary thing that Kelly and I use for link getting. We’ve ranked hundreds of sites this way, big to small top to bottom. I think that lesson alone makes the update well well worth it.

One more thing in the new 1-article to rule them all area is this time I provide a before and after example article – the one that I wrote in less than an hour during my video (while commenting) again in the mouth watering make money market.

So that’s what’s new in Bring the Fresh 2012 – next I’ll tell you how my first day went (just FYI – it wasn’t pretty!))

If you’ve already read my review and case study and are ready to purchase Bring the Fresh 2012 click here.

Somewhere along the line you may have learned that people have various styles of learning. When you as a business person are able to appeal to more than one method of learning you not only make it easier for your clients to benefit from your products, you also demonstrate a desire to communicate effectively with your audience. So how do people learn?

Visually

Kinesthetic

Auditory

Visually is easy to understand. These people generally learn by seeing things or reading them. They learn by reading or watching a tutorial. Diagrams and maps generally make sense to these people and they often respond in conversation with “I see” or “Do you see?” When they describe things they describe how they look.

Kinesthetic learners learn by immersing themselves into a system. They’re hands on people. These types of learners are generally able to take something apart and put it back together easily. If they’re learning a dance step they learn by walking through it. If they learn how to design a website, they learn by doing it. They’re hands on and will often describe things by feel or by process.

Auditor learners learn by hearing. These people generally retain things they’ve heard much better than things they’ve read or seen. These people will often say, “I hear what you’re saying.”

Now these are broad generalizations and many people learn in a combination of styles and when people are able to combine styles, say they can read a book and hear the book via audio then they are significantly more likely to retain the information. Or if they can participate in an online seminar and then have a recording of that seminar then they’ll retain that information much easier.

When you add an audio recording as a part of your product offerings you’re helping your customers retain the benefits of your information products and you’re demonstrating to them that you’re passionate about meeting their needs. In addition, audio recordings can be shared very easily and thus your awareness may grow simply from adding an audio version of your information product. Audio recordings really are a great technology!

If you haven’t already started a home business, or if you’ve put your business on the backburner, now is the perfect time to start (or restart) your home based business. The poor economy makes it even more vitally important for you and your family to have an additional source of income. It seems like every day another “well established” company is going belly up, laying off workers, and closing it’s doors. What if that was the company you or your spouse worked for? Even if you have adequate savings (as very few do) finding a new job in todays market is tougher than it has been in a long time.

And believe it or not – there are still plenty of customers out there looking for products and services that many home based businesses can offer! Especially in the health/beauty arena. Today’s economy has often been referred to as a “lipstick” economy – which means that many women (people) would gladly go to the poorhouse as long as they can look good doing it!! (I.e. I’ll spend my last dollar on lipstick rather than say the electric bill). And many home businesses allow you to look good, buy your products at a discount, and still make money while you’re at it!

And shopping from home allows those with money to purchase the products they want/need with a sense of privacy and without having to go out and brave the marketplace and parking lots and risk rude salespeople. So if you’ve been trying to decide whether or not to start a home business, you owe it to yourself to start now. It may just be an extra $250 a month (or week) for now, but in most cases, all it takes to save a family from bankruptcy is just an extra $300 a month! And if you or your spouse loses a job, your home based income may mean the difference between running out of your emergency savings and having some left over to spare.

I have a full list of potential home based businesses in my list of home based businesses (clever title don’t you think??) or you can contact me and I’ll be happy to share my opinions and experiences with you!

Some of you out there said “well, yes, but. . . ” and if that was your answer to that question, then you are not ready, you are not prepared, and you are not on the path to success. You are likely either stuck on the side of the road to success or more likely headed in the wrong direction altogether!

If you have a plan for success and you are checking it daily, and making progress on it – good for you! You are either already experiencing your success or it is just around the corner. And when I say “checking it daily” – I’m not talking about your e-mail or your facebook page – I’m talking about your specific plan for success with daily money-making activities.

As some of you may know, the last couple of years I let myself get lazy and distracted from my work at home goals. And when we lost my husband’s income, things got really tight, and we made the decision for me to go back to work while he stayed home and worked on the business so that eventually we could both be at home. That was the plan – I thought I’d be home within a year. Well, it’s been 2 years, and although I love my job, the birth of my (unexpected) youngest makes me yearn to be home full time again. And there is an opportunity there for me, but due to my failure to plan properly, I may or may not be able to take advantage of it.

This caused me to buckle down and look at what I’ve been doing the last two years. And what I saw in retrospect is not what I had intended to focus my attention on. I focused on how tired I was, how I didn’t want to be working outside the home, how I had gained so much weight, how this and how that – what I didnt’ focus on, was my plan to be home again. I “wished” to be home, I “wanted” to be home, but I didn’t make and follow a plan to be home again. I guess I had hoped that it would simply “happen.”

In part of my efforts to refocus on what really matters to me, I’ve started listening to Dani Johnson again. If you haven’t heard her before, you really need to start listening to her. I have her First Steps to Success tapes, and her Christian Tapes (which you can download for free now), and I joined her CFI Success Network (just $1 for the first month – well worth the dollar!) If you want to succeed you need to surround yourself with the right people, and put the right kind of thinking in your brain. Dani is where I go, and I wanted to share with you in case somehow you got sidetracked from your goal, and were wondering where your success went. So the next time someone asks you “do you want to succeed?” you can answer with your whole heart – YES! and your success will be right around the corner! To your success!

In case you didn’t know, PLR stands for Private Label Rights, which is basically content (articles, stories) that you can purchase to use. What the PLR ATM will teach you to do is how to provide the PLR to those people that are hungry for lots of content for their websites. She will show you step by step how to make a nice little income each month with this. Here she is in a short video talking about how much she makes with a PLR store

If you’re not real sure of what you want to do from home, this is a great opportunity to get some training and some extra monthly income. It is set to launch on September 21, 2010 – so check back for the link to get all the information!

Choosing the right home business will have a serious impact on your success. But how do you know which home based business is the right one for you? If you have a lot of money and time to waste, just go ahead and jump right on in the first thing that pops in your head! But if you want to increase your chance of success, take at least a few days to carefully consider your options.

We will go more into detail on each one a little later, but some things to consider are:

What do I like to do?

Do I want to start from scratch or start with a ready made business?

How much time can I devote to my business?

How much money can I afford to start my business?

How much money each month can I devote to my business?

What kind of a support system do I have?

What am I qualified to do – what kinds of skills do I have?

You already have a desire to work from home or you wouldn’t be reading this, but it takes more than just a “want to” attitude to succeed at working from home. And the path that you choose today could mean all the difference between success and failure, so be sure to choose carefully.

To give you some idea of some of the types of home based business opportunities that are available, visit my List of Home Based Businesses and take a look at several companies that are available and have already produced successful work at home businesses for people. Don’t contact anyone just yet though! You still have lots of work to do before you are ready to interview potential business partners!

Before you begin selling information products on the Internet, you want to make sure you’ve selected a target niche that will be profitable for you both in the short-term and the long-term. Your target niche is simply the audience that you want to focus your efforts on.

Can Any Niche Be Profitable?

Not all niches are alike. Some are more profitable than others. Some groups are more “window shoppers” than “buyers”. You need to look at your audience and see if they’re willing (and able) to spend money for the solutions they’re seeking. As an example, targeting golfers is going to be profitable than some because in general golfers have deep pockets because the game of golf in itself is expensive. They’re also rabid fans of the game who would do anything to improve their score or beat their competitors on the links.

But another niche, such as single moms on a budget may not be willing to pay $67 for an information product showing them how to get organized. Sometimes it depends on the solution itself. Targeting this same niche of single moms, you may find some are willing to pay $47 for an eBook that shows them how to make more money working from home than they do in their regular 9-5 jobs. One good place to start is with online groups and forums. You can go to iVillage or Yahoo and see what kind of groups garner the most posts. Men’s groups such as AskMen might give you insight into what kind of information products this portion of the population might need that help you generate a handsome profit.

A Good Target Niche Has Lots of Problems

You’re not just looking for a broad group of people to cater to – you’re looking for those with a lot of problems. When you start creating your information products, you’ll want to build an empire of products that all focus on the same niche, allowing you to market to existing, loyal customers who buy from you time and time again. Sometimes, you’ll find one large niche and then realize you need to build your information product line around a more targeted, narrow niche of people. For instance, parents in general have many problems you could address, such as raising smart kids, dealing with discipline, and saving money. But you can then narrow that niche to moms or dad and dig deeper by focusing on parents of multiples or parents raising kids with physical ailments. Just remember that an information product is not really a product at all – it’s a solution, so it needs to be marketed as something that will improve the lives of others, not just yours!

When the Internet came about to connect billions of users from all over the world, a business opportunity was born based on the insatiable appetite of consumers. When people go online, it’s information that they’re seeking above all else.

Some information comes in the form of free content on websites, or through emails getting passed from one person to the next. But if you want to profit selling information on the internet, then you’ll want to position yourself as a virtual expert in your niche and capitalize on the problems of others where you provide a solution to their needs.

Some people profit selling information online in eBook form. Others sell personalized consultations for thousands of dollars. Some have made their living writing valuable content and giving it away with hyperlinks that take the reader to an information product they can buy, giving the author of the freebie a cut of the profits.

The key to profiting from the sale of information online is to build trust with your audience. Unfortunately, when a customer stops by your website, you can’t shake their hand and smile while you convince them to upgrade their purchase. But you can write compelling sales copy that shatters their doubts and fears and convinces them to trust you.

At that point in the transaction, if you want to build a business selling information online as part of your long-term income strategy, then you’ll want to make sure that what you deliver goes above and beyond their expectations so that they’ll continue buying from you in the future.

Some people wonder what the potential is to profit from selling information online. The answer is simple – there are no limits, no ceilings, and no barrier between you and your success.

You can launch information products for sale online for next to nothing. You can do it on a 100% free option if you promoted it through a free Wordpress blog using article directories and sig files with PayPal as your paying option, or you can take a more legitimate approach and use fee-based tools like your own domain, a shopping cart set up through ClickBank, and strategic banner ad placement.

If you want to know how to profit selling information products online, then you need to look at the successful marketers who have paved the way for you, people like Tiffany Dow, Rosalind Gardner, and Darren Rowse. Learn about list building, social networking, and testing your efforts for good measure. There are unlimited opportunities for people who want to market info products online, and a constant influx of hungry buyers permeating the marketplace in search of solutions to their own needs.

I had mentioned in my last post how the best way to secure a stay at home income that will provide for the entire family was through residual income.

What is Residual Income?

For the purposes of a stay at home mom, residual income is income that continues to flow in even after the initial act that produces the sale is over. For example, imagine making a sale of a handbag. The initial purchase of the handbag is the initial act that produces the sale or income. However, if the person who purchased your handbag paid you a fee each month in order to be able to continue to carry the handbag – that would be residual income. You didn’t have to do anything else, you didn’t have to make another handbag, you didn’t have to sell another handbag, the money simply continues to come in. That is the beauty of residual income.

Why Residual Income is Great for Stay At Home Moms

The reason residual income is so great for stay at home moms, besides the fact of getting paid without having to do the work again (I’ mean who can argue with that?) is that residual income frees up more of your time to spend with your kids, and in reality, that should be the reason you want to work from home. Not that the whole “never have to wear pantyhose again” thing isn’t motivating, but really, it’s all about the kids here.

Real Life Residual Income Ideas for Stay At Home Moms

While the handbag example is clear, it really won’t happen much in real life. So what are some real examples of residual income?
Many multi-level marketing plans have residual income. Most MLM’s have a minimum monthly purchase or sales commitment for their associates, this means that once someone has decided to join the company as a customer or associate, that each month you will be paid a commission on their purchase, you don’t have to go out each month to get an order from them (although regular contact with your customers/associates is definately a good thing.) Also, the insurance industry is a good example of residual income. Once a person purchases the insurance policy, the agent receives income every month that the person pays their premiums.

Other residual income ideas besides MLM would be:

Service agreements for web services (you design their website, and then for a monthly fee, you agree to check and update the website up to a certain number of changes.)

Whatever of the month clubs – if you make soap or other products, a residual idea would be to create a “soap of the month” club where if your customers agree to automatically purchase a new soap each month (usually at a small discount) then you don’t have to attempt to make new sales each month, simply send them their monthly product and collect their payment accordingly. (More closely related to passive income than residual since you still have to create the new product – more on passive income later)

Writing books or e-books – the residual effect of the book is that once you do the activity (write the book), then everytime one of your books sell, you receive income from that sale.

The beauty of residual income is it helps to multiply your efforts. Let’s say you need 10 buying customers to cover your expenses. With residual income the first month you go out and find 10 customers. The next month, you go out and find 10 more customers, plus the first 10 customers are still purchasing from you through the residual method, so you now have 20 customers. So for the same amount of effort you now have 20 customers. WIthout residual income, you would have to do twice as much work for 20 customers as you would for 10 customers.

Residual income will help you to limit the time you spend on your business without limiting your income. There are ways to generate residual income with just about any home business or industry, just start thinking about ways to add value to the product or service you already provide!

Need help? Just ask!
