Typically, in agency life, we see a slow down in the summer as clients go on vacation. That gives us a chance to do some internal work and to adjust processes and things in order to adapt to the ever changing needs of the clients.

This summer has not given us any time to think let alone do any internal improvements. This creates a particular problem becuase if we aren’t always improving we are falling behind. We are always trying to do more with aging computers and external resources that are also struggling to keep up.

Thankfully I love what I do and work more than that normal 8 hour work day. Sadly that while I am learning about Joomla, Drupal and the latest release of DotNetNuke my site is suffering.

The idea of moving from a standard portfolio to a blog was to actually make something more out of this site for people who visit it. Obviously that hasn’t happened yet but it will. As August moves on, the big web site projects are passing to allow for new ones and my schedule is freeing up so I can get to work here.

I promise to have more stuff up soon and I will also have an update to the design/template of the site as well.

I have gotten my logo and a few things on the site since I started to go with this format. Thankfully being busy is a good thing, means my daily grind is just that. People are starting to see that the recesion is not a reason to stop doing business.

And with that, I have to get back to it. I promise I will get this site rolling sooner than later.
