Hey Ladies! Just wanted to remind you all that I have moved, again, kinda. :)

I was putting on CC Ultraviolet and I was thinking 'hey this kinda looks like RBL Scrangie.' Now that I get the 2 pics of the bottles together, they really don't look that similar.

I am really loving Scrangie (the polish) and I want to buy it, but I can't afford it. Does anyone have these 2 so they can do a comparison? Maybe me having CC UV will help me hold off on not going ballistic because I don't have RBL Scrangie.

NOTD: Revlon Scented Nail Polish Pretty in Papaya

I wanted to use all of my summer colors that I have on hand because summer is fading quickly in my part of the world. I am one of those girls that likes to wear the colors that go with the season, but I tend to venture off of that every once in a while.

So here is the lovely Revlon Pretty in Papaya one of the scented polishes that came out this spring. It is not a true red maybe more of a cross between a red and a coral. I am really into this shade for some reason right now. And the smell is not overpowering in the least. (please forgive my cuticles, since I filed my nails down it is so much easier for me to pick at them)

L'oreal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara

I had seen this in stores and I thought, '12x more volume, that's crazay!' But when I got the opporunity to test it out, I jumped at the chance and ripped open the package before I could take a pic.

What it claims:
It's made with hydra-collagen and enhances the thickness of your lashes for
up to 12X more impact without any clumps. Our patented brush is 50% bigger so it builds that incredible volume fast. Your lashes will build extra body and extra impact in just one sweep. (source- lorealparisusa.com)

When I pulled out the brush it looked very dry and huge. But when I applied the mascara it came off the brush smoothly- wasn't dry or stiff at all.

I don't know why that one lash is straight!

I really like this mascara. The brush is a bit big making it a little hard to navigate (you can see this in the lower lashes and the inner ones). The formula is pretty good. I can see the thickness from one picture to the next. It is not a very heavy feel either.

I have made this my new everyday mascara. But don't go for more than 2 coats, then those clumps rear their ugliness.

L'Oreal EverPure UV Protection Spray

I got an opportunity to try L'oreal EverPure UV Protection Spray.

What it claims:

"Color-treated hair requires special care. This lightweight, non-sticky spray contains UV filters to help protect hair from the sun’s harmful rays and preserve long-lasting color purity. Hair is left healthy-looking and shiny. Infused with rosemary and mint for an invigorating, aromatic experience"

I have never tried the shampoo because my hair is not colored, but I heard it's good for hair that isn't colored either. In fact, my best friend, Emily, told me about it.

I spritzed this on when I got out of the shower one day and the smell, to me, is so strong I had to open the door.

It's a rosmary mint scent and I just couldn't stand it. Emily loves the scent though, so I guess it's really a toss up.

I agree with what it says about being non-sticky. I'd like to think of the texture as a lighter leave-in conditioner. My hair was shiny as well.

Have you tried this? Do you think the scent is too much? Have you tried the shampoo/conditioner?

Friday Night Girls-Night-In Mani & Pedi

So last night my best friend, Emily, and I had a Friday night Girls-Night-In and had a mani/pedi-a-thon with the new Zoyas I got. While we were doing this we had Heathers playing in the background.

Has anyone seen this movie? We rented it because it is a 'cult classic' comedy and we thought it would be good for a laugh. I don't think this should have been in the comedy section at all. It was rather dark.

Anyway, onto the polish!

First up is Pru. A warm pink with gold shimmer. Very beautiful. Below is 2 coats. These pics were taken on the fourth day!

I read somewhere recently that 2 basecoats is better than one, so I am going to start doing that from now on. I used Zoya's a coat each of: ridge filler, anchor, the polish (2 coats), armor, and hurry up drops. This mani lasted to 5 days without looking horrible!

Em liked Pru so much on my nails, she wanted them on hers! So here's her pics. Mind you, they were taken at like midnight last night so the lighting isn't spectacular. (these are all precleanup pics)

I feel that I have to do that now, just in case some are squimish about toes.

Here's Em toes with 2 coats of Salma. A lovely color!

Here's my mani. Lovely, bright Sienna. This is 3 coats and you can still see the VNL. I think next time I wear this I will do a first coat of a cream orange and top it with this. I think this is a great Halloween color!
