PSX Turns Green after KSA 3$ Billion Fund

The 2 months bearish dip at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) came to a halt on Wednesday as bulls staged a return after the KSA Fund for Development said it was depositing $3 billion in State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to aid its foreign reserves.

KSE-100 recorded an increase of points 1.25% to settle at 45,791.92.

Investor contribution revived at the bourse and widespread Cherry flicking in several sectors triggered a horse race. Buoyed by the recent dip, share prices fell to attractive valuations and motivated market participants to assume fresh positions.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Shaukat Tarin had said that Saudi Arabia offered Pakistan a whopping $4.2 billion loan package at a 3.2% interest rate.

Qatari Visa on Arrival for Pakistani Citizen

Good news or Pakistani people that they are now entitled for open 30 days tourist visa on entrance to Qatar.

The Qatar embassy in Pakistan placed on their website that Qatar will award free tourist visa for 30 days on their arrival in Qatar provided they meet certain conditions.

The prerequisite for the on entrance free tourist visa is that the passport must be valid for at least 6 months and the passenger must have a confirmed return ticket. The tourist should have cash equal to QR 5,000 or a valid credit card.

Visa will be approved for 30 days free of charge and is expendable for a similar period after confirming the return ticket. People arriving straight from Pakistan should have a certificate of vaccination against polio according to the procedures currently in place. Requirements:

1. The passport must be legitimate for at least 6 months
2. The passenger must have a confirmed return ticket.
3. The tourist should have cash equivalent of QR 5,000 or a valid credit card.
4. Visa is granted for 30 days free of charge and extend-able for a similar period after confirming the return ticket.
5. Persons coming directly from Pakistan should have a certificate of vaccination against polio according to the procedures currently in place.

Tomorrow the lawer of Sharif family would going to present a documentary proof of money trail before Supreme Court, this document is supposed to be an important document in Panama Papers Case as beleived by Sharif Family and their lawer as it will have ownership details of Ehli Steel Mills, that the beneficiary owner of this company is Mr. Hussain Nawaz and not the PM himself, though the said documentary evidence is fake as told by senior anchor person Mr. Amir Liaqat in "Bol Utha Insaaf" on Bol News Channel.

According to details Dr. Amir told that the said documentary proof is fake as Government of UAE unable to verify the Seal on this agreement moreover the 35 years old document has no Notary Record in UAE.

مسئلہ جنرل پاشا نہیں آئی ایس آئی ہے۔

سنا ہے ایک پاگل امریکی کی کتاب پر جنرل پاشا کے متعلق کافی زبانیں دراز کی جا رہی ہیں۔ میں کتاب کے متعلق تو تبھی کچھ کہوں گا جب اس کا مطالعہ کر لوں گا ہاں جنرل پاشا کے متعلق میں ایک بات پورے وثوق سے کہتا ہوں کہ آئی ایس آئی کے ڈائرئکٹر جنرلز کی تاریخ میں امریکیوں کو جو شخص سب سے ناپسندیدہ تھا وہ جنرل احمد شجاع پاشا تھے۔ میں بنا حوالہ کے بات نہیں کر رہا بلکہ ایک زندہ جاوید دلیل بھی اپ کو پیش کر رہا ہوں۔

جنرل پاشا 2008 سے لے کر 2012 تک آفس میں موجود رہے، اس چار سالہ عرصے میں آئی ایس آئی کے خلاف جو پراپگینڈہ عالمی اخبارات میں شائع ہوا اس کی کوئی دوسری مثال نہیں ملتی۔ تجربے کے طور پر ٹیلی گراف، گارڈین، نیویارک ٹائمز جیسے عالمی اخبارات کی ویب سائیٹس پر چلے جائیں۔ ان ویب سائیٹس کے سرچ مینو میں " آئی ایس آئی " ٹائپ کریں۔ 2008 سے 2012 کے دوران جو سرچ رزلٹس آپ کو ملیں گے وہ آپ کی آنکھیں کھولنے کےلیے کافی ہوں گے۔ آپ کو لگے گا کہ امریکیوں اور برطانویوں کے نزدیک روئے زمین پر سب سے بڑی برائی آئی ایس آئی ہے۔

بات صرف جنرل پاشا کے چار سالوں پہ ہی بس نہیں ہے نا ہی آئی ایس آئی کے خلاف پزادراڈہ کوئی نئی بات ہے بلکہ روس افغان جنگ کے بعد سے لے کر مسلسل آج تک آئی ایس آئی بڑی طاقتوں کی آنکھوں میں کانٹا بن کے کھٹک رہی ہے۔ میں پوسٹ کے آخر میں یہ بھی لکھوں گا گا کہ آئی ایس آئی کے خلاف یہ پراپگینڈہ کن مجبوریوں کے تحت کیا جاتا ہے۔ سرِ دست اتنی سی گزارش ہے کہ جو حضرات ریمنڈ ڈیوس کی ایک کتاب پر جنرل پاشا کے متعلق لغو گوئی کر رہے ہیں، وہ حضرات آئی ایس آئی کے خلاف کیے جانے والے عالمی پراپگینڈہ کے جواب میں بھی کبھی بولتے نظر آئے؟ بالکل بھی نہیں۔ بلکہ جنرل پاشا پہ تنقید کرنے والے وہ حضرات ہیں جو بمبئی حملوں کا الزام بھی ائی ایس آئی پہ ڈال رہے تھے۔ دوسری بات اس انسان کو عالمی سیاست پر بات کرنے کے بجائے محلے میں کدو بیچنے چاہیے جسے یہ سمجھ نہ آئے کہ ریمنڈ ڈیوس ایک مصنف نہیں تھا نہ ہی صاحبِ کلام تھا کہ کتاب تصنیف کر سکے۔ اسے تو امریکی عدالت بھی مجرم قرار دے چکی ہے۔ ریمنڈ ڈیوس جتنا عرصہ قید رہا جیل میں تھا، اپنی رہائی سے متعلق جو واقعات وہ لکھ رہا ہے وہ جیل میں اسے الہام ہوئے کیا؟ صاف ظاہر ہے اس کا نام استعمال کر کے صرف کتاب لکھی گئی جبکہ کتاب لکھنے کے پیچھے کوئی اور ہے۔

اب زرا وجوہات کی طرف آئیں کہ آخر عالمی طاقتوں کو کیا تکلیف ہے جو آئی ایس آئی کے خلاف پراپگینڈہ کرتی ہیں۔ بین الاقوامی سیاست میں اپنے اہداف کے حصول کےلیے پراپگینڈہ ایک مضبوط ترین ہتھیار ہوتا ہے۔ جہاں ہدف جتنا اہم ہو وہاں اتنا زیادہ پراپگینڈہ کیا جاتا ہے۔ مثال کےطور پر صدام حسین کی حکومت گرانا اور عراق میں تیل کے کنوؤں پر اپنی مرضی کی کمپنیوں کا قبضہ کروانا امریکہ کا ہدف تھا لہٰذا امریکہ نے عراق میں ویپن آف میس ڈسٹرکشن کا پراپگینڈہ اتنی شدت سے کیا کہ عالمی رائے عراق پر حملے کےلیے نرم ہو گئی۔ نتیجے میں جب امریکہ نے عراق پہ حملہ کیا تو کوئی بھی نہ بولا۔ یہ ایک ہدف کے حصول کےلیے طاقتور پراپگینڈہ کی ایک مثال دی میں نے۔

پاکستان میں امریکہ کے کیا اہداف ہیں یہ ہر باشعور پاکستانی جانتا ہے۔ ان میں سے اہم ترین ہدف آئی ایس آئی کو کمزور کرنا ہے۔ آئی ایس آئی اور پاک فوج کی طاقت اللہ اور اس کے رسولؐ کے بعد اس ملک کے عام عوام ہیں۔ یوں بھی متفقہ اصول ہے کہ جس ملک کی افواج اور عوام میں دوری ہو وہ زیادہ دیر تک مضبوط بنیادوں پرقائم نہیں رہتے۔ سی آئے اے کے آفیسر مائیکل شیئر (Michael Scheuer) نے آئی ایس آئی سے متعلق ایک سوال کے جواب میں کہا تھا امریکا کی نظر میں آئی ایس آئی کا یہ قصور ہے کہ وہ پاکستانی مفاد کے خلاف کام نہیں کرتی۔ جب کہ دنیا کی کوئی بھی سیکرٹ ایجنسی اپنے ملک کے خلاف کام نہیں کرتی یہ تو پھر آئی ایس آئی ہے، جو انتہائی قابلِ عزت ادارہ ہے۔ واضح رہے یہ سی آئی اے آفیسر ریٹائرمنٹ کے بعد امریکی پالیسیوں پر شدید تنقید کرتا ہے اور "امریکہ جہنم کی طرف گامزن" نامی کتاب کا بھی مصنف ہے۔ یعنی خاصہ مستند اور معتبر آدمی ہے۔

تو جناب ایک ایسی ساس جو اپنی تمام تر سازشوں کے باوجود بہو کا کچھ نہ بگاڑ سکے بالاخراسے کوسنے دے کر گزارہ کرتی ہے۔ امریکہ کی بھی اس بوڑھی ساس کی سی ہے۔ امریکہ کےلیے آئی ایس آئی ایک بے قابو جن کی طرح ہے جو ان کی ساری کوششوں کے باوجود ان کے کنٹرول سے باہر ہے۔ روس افغان جنگ میں آئی ایس آئی سی آئی اے کے ساتھ روسی خفیہ ایجنسی کے جی بی کے مقابل کام کر چکی ہے۔ یہ ان دونوں خطرناک ایجنسیوں کے طریقہ واردات کو سامنے رکھ کے دیکھتی اور سمجھتی رہی۔ خود روس والے یہ کہتے تھے کہ افغانستان میں سی آئی اے کی موجودگی ہمارے لیے مسئلہ نہیں اصل مسئلہ آئی ایس آئی ہے۔ اور سی آئی اے کو یہ مسئلہ تھا کہ آئی ایس آئی روس افغان جنگ میں انہیں بار بار الو بنا کر کئی مشن بالا ہی بالا مکمل کر جاتی ہے۔ اب یہ آئی ایس آئی واقعی ایک بے قابو جن بن چکی ہے جس کو قابو کرنے کےلیے امریکہ طویل عرصے سے گھٹیا حربے آزما رہا ہے۔ مجبوری ہے کہ آئی ایس آئی کے کارناموں سے پردہ نہیں اٹھایا جا سکتا لیکن یہ یقین رکھیں کہ اس ملک میں امریکی اگر کسی سے متعلق پریشانی میں مبتلا ہیں تو وہ آئی ایس آئی اور پاک فوج ہی ہے۔ اور امریکی پراپگینڈہ کا بہترین جواب یہی ہے کہ جو روس اور چائنہ والے دیتے ہیں یعنی "ہمارے جوتے کی نوک پر"۔

یہی جنرل پاشا جس کے خلاف آج امریکہ پاگل ہو رہا ہے اگر حسین حقانی کی طرح امریکہ سے وفاداری کرتا تو آج امریکہ ان کے بھی گن گا رہا ہوتا۔ مگر مسئلہ یہ ہے کہ جنرل پاشا آئی ایس آئی چیف تھے اور امریکہ کےلیے مسئلہ جنرل پاشا نہیں آئی ایس آئی ہے

If Nahari were the Only Source to Become MNA Then......

If Nahari or Nehari were the main vitamin or source to become MNA then, at least one person of the family would be an MNA among the residents of Azizabad and Sadar Karachi (Javed Nehari in Azizabad & Sabri & Zahid Nahari in Sadar Karachi).

Imran Ismail says that "Hum nay Khauf Kay But Tor Diye", but what about the public who is facing the fear of Rangers in the constituency of NA-246 and in Karachi. I don't know why PTI is so much optimistic in a constituency where their voter turn out was not more than 10 to 15% but I think that is why Haider Abbas Rizvi of MQM said PTI candidate to visit the NA-246 off and on even after 23 Apr, 2015 (i.e., after By-Election) so that he can aware of the issues related to this constituency.

Some anchors in electronic media still not ready to accept the victory of MQM and blaming the Chief of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain to use Urdu or Muhajir Card in this by-election, may be they forget that there is no need to use such card in a constituency where population of Urdu speakings are more than 90%. In another program where Khush Bakht Shuja'at of MQM present on a phone call an anchor blamed the success of Election Jalsa's (conventions) by saying that the gathering of conventions were the employees of KBCA, Education Department, Water Board & naming several other Government & Private institutions where majority of Urdu speaking community is working, who takes salaries from these departments and give their attendance/presence to MQM election campaigns and conventions, by saying that maybe he forgets that the office timings of these departments are normally 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM while majorly all election campaigns started in the evening after 6:00 or 7:00 PM, the second thing he was forgetting that his words are becoming a proof that MQM brings prosperity to Urdu Speaking Community by creating jobs in these Departments and returns this community will ultimately vote to the MQM.

I don't say anything else because this is a time that the Urdu Community must understand the meaning of the famous words of Quaid Tehrik Altaf Hussain when he said once that "by creating such scenarios for Urdu Community maybe the Establishment forget the 1971 incident".

At the end I congratulate the MQM and Mr. Kanwar Naveed Jamil on marvelous victory in by-election of NA-246.

The Real Face of India - BBC Documentary Banned

The documentary made by BBC, named “India’s Daughter,” portrays how Jyoti Singh was trodden and gang raped on a bus as it was driving around Indian Capital “Delhi” in 2012. She soon after died in a hospital in Singapore. Her male friend also was harshly beaten but stayed alive.

One of the accused, bus driver Ram Singh, allegedly hanged himself in his jail compartment. His brother, Mukesh Singh, and three other men, Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur and Pawan Gupta, were convicted of rape and murder and punished to death. One other accused, a young, was given the highest sentence of three years in a reform facility.

Subsequent the occurrence, the Indian government passed new sexual stabbing laws, together with one that set a mandatory bare minimum sentence of 20 years for gang rape.

A documentary portraying the assault, prepared by Leslee Udwin, was meant to be telecasted in India on March 8, International Women’s Day, but the Indian government held its release on March 4 for panic of inciting more aggression, officials said. The #BBC ended up broadcasting it that day in the UK.

The film also shows footage of the enormous street protests around India that ensued, along with dialogues with the victim’s parents, Badri and Asha.

How to Make a Governmental Institute More Effective and Less Corrupt (Part II)

This post is a second part of "How to Make a Governmental Institute More Effective and Less Corrupt"

The evident slogan: "It is politics just as before" is as well limited as the actual cause. To destroy any political impact is no solution within a democratic process.

I feel that there are three, also related, underlying factors.

Inadequate interest of the population and its politicians for public and political benefits to determine a clear purpose to each Ministry, what ever this purpose may be.

The goal can even be: "to place everyone to work" to avoid social anxiety, to make an electoral platform; as long as the goal is completely clear. The key between a democratic system lies in clearly declaring by majority recognized, realistic, measurable, to achieve goals. If the politicians would pay more particular attention to clearer communication and checking of targets for the Government – goals which are recognized by the population – it could have advantages for both politicians and the population.

Inadequate attention of the population and its politicians to the building of a full employment substitute in the private sector.

Social employment leads to inadequate gratitude for public officials and private entrepreneurs who do have a clear aim and who are doing a good job. In the long-standing this leads to need of a society and therefore also of its political actors. If the politicians jointly with the "captains of industry" and the social and educational world really make work of a full employment substitute in the private sector and would take concern of the essential "adjustment", than the stress would reduce on people that have been, for social reasons, wrongly lodged.

Inadequate interest of the political actors on the political benefits to have a clear relation between aim and staff. Understatement of personnel affairs within the government leads to a negligible, executive role for personnel affairs. However, these people continue the machine going; the staff should not only be recognized, but should be scheduled in a correct and consistent style. If you give people no target, nor task, than the bulk of your public officials will disperse themselves a (possibly rootless) destination and (ir)responsibilities. On top of this, if your staff is subjective rewarded, promoted or dismissed of just not cared for enough and the public official lets this happen, than you create harms in a country where a large part of the labour population is a public servant. This has a destructive effect, per incorrectly accommodated official, up to four or five possible voters. So accommodating people wrongly has a harmful result on government, public officials, the people and for the politicians. If the politicians would give more notice to establishing clear objectives per department, to the development of a employment option and accommodating on the base of clear structure states – in such a method that the accommodated people have a clear objective and a clear spot – then politicians could form a positive consequence, not only within the government, but also within their voting public and thus increase politically from improved accommodation.

Accommodation would then be based on plain guideline and is generally acknowledged. The simple understanding of the social, political and economic payback of: undoubtedly defined and communicated targets per Ministry; investing in a different employment in the private sector; a clearer connection between aim and staffing (better accommodation); can stimulate people to change a little, to improve. And the social, political and economic payback of the three changes stated above is sufficient.

We think of: ministerial services that are clearer, quicker and more professionally be performed; ministerial services that are exercised cheaper; officials with a clear job to perform, know where they place and where to go; officials who are not embarrassed of their profession, but are respected; private entrepreneurs who are doing well and are happy to employ people; politicians who are appreciated more by the people; a population with a purchasing power; a population that has self-assurance in their politicians; a well served population. The responsibility of the above stated causes and the producing of the social and political benefits lie not only by the politicians, but also with the public officials who let this take place, as well as with the whole population. Something can be prepared about it!

Debris of AirAsia QZ 8501 Found from Java Sea

Rescue teams yesterday retrieved and tallied a grim stuff of bodies and debris from the plane off the coast of southwestern Borneo. But it was unclear what caused the AirAsia Flight 8501, to plunge into the sea on Sunday, less than an hour after leaving Surabaya for Singapore. The first two bodies from AirAsia Flight 8501 arrived Wednesday at a military airstrip at Surabaya International Airport, where many of the passengers' relatives are gathered.

But Indonesian official concerns did not say so explicitly, their comments on Tuesday suggested that it was unlikely that survivors would be found.

How to Make a Governmental Institute More Effective and Less Corrupt

Most top positions in a government institute are taken by friends of one or another political head, some of them even without the expertise of taking this position. This then can create in the minds of the population revolutionary ideas validated by the concept that all people working for the Government are corrupt (we are facing a giant sit-out against corruption in front of Parliament House by Pakistan Tehrik e Insaaf or PTI & Pakistan Awami Tehrik or PAT)

Although I agree that this might be the case in quite some circumstances, I cannot, but look further in the hidden reasons of this and – what is more significant – how to probably change this and make sure the top government positions are held by experienced people. So i did some research on this issue and I hope interesting conclusions and a possible solution.

I made a decision to use a metaphor of an imagined country which is a democratic state and has a National Assembly with a Governmental Cabinet. In principal this cabinet is owned by the National Assembly of the State.

Every four years the National Assembly votes for a General Staff (Council of Ministers), which gets this cabinet on loan for four years. An agreement has been attained on the number of Ministries in the cabinet and in which route they set to move. The cabinet exists of different Ministries. The ministers themselves figure out their individual targets, supplies and staff within the budgetary policies. Some regulations have been organized (Workers Law and related polices) to man the cabinet in a uniform way. However, this cabinet has capacity problems – insufficient staff, knowledge, authority – to carry this out successfully. Also a large portion of the active population does not have adequately interesting options to earn money on land – or at least thinks that there is no future within the private sector – and therefore wants to employee with the State in order to be assured of an income.

From a good thing to consider, we state that the majority of the public officials and politicians is of good will. So, what should a Minister or Secretary with good motives do in this sort of a case?

He/She takes a large number of people on board, without essentially care for the mission of these people. In some nations this is called "accommodate". Therefore, you get the people who have the right positions to exercise their duties, on the one hand, and people who wrongly where accommodated, who do not have a clear position, on the other hand. There are also people that have been accommodated by a previous Minister. This brings for some department to block, what might annoy people who are in the right position and who do have a objective to accomplish. In the long-term this brings to De-motivation, disappointment from those that have been incorrectly accommodated.

As a result, at some departments disorder arises, where:

-possibly everybody meddles with everything;
-sometimes everyone is carrying out his/her own thing;
-either nobody is doing anything at all.

Various international and national "steersmen ashore" advise that a number of individuals should go over the top, that clear tasks should be distributed, that people should be properly trained themselves individual tool kits to the Ministers that will take care of all problems. The risk here is that the different Ministries will follow their own guidelines even more and that the staff will be treated irrelevant and in a non-uniform manner.

The unfortunate part is that the above situation is created with good intentions to provide people work and livelihood. But the impact is pernicious, each for the "accommodated" and the other officials. Taking into account a global average of roughly four persons per household, one can also argue that the wrong accommodation of one person can have a potential adverse effect in the long-term on many voters of the Assembly.

The impact of a incorrect accommodation is therefore also for the politician, who backed the accommodation, possibly negative. Nobody has an attention in the success of such a state, neither the politicians, nor the government authorities, nor the people.

The situation as defined over does not happen without a purpose. Some actual causes – interests must can be found that lead to this situation. These underlying causes, when recognised and dealt with can launch the improvement. What are these underlying causes? What causes, once recognised and dealt with, can trigger a real change in the direction of the ideal picture?

Insurgents Attack Again Nearby Karachi Airport

A security camp nearby Karachi International Airport again targeted by the Insurgents today (Tuesday 10-Jun-14), it's almost 36 hours passed when an all-night strike by the Taliban gunmen at one of the most busy airport of Pakistan.

"The Airport Security Forces Camp is under strike. There is firing. The amount of the destruction could not be estimated yet," a senior officer at the FIA told.

It was not stated yet that who was at the rear of the newest attack.

Pakistan's National Television-PTV revealed that three insurgents had been encircled by security forces at the camp.

All incoming and outgoing flights whether domestic or international of the vast city were suspended.

The current attack damaged prospects for peace discussions among the Taliban and the government.

India’s Greatest Security Hazard is None Other Than ISI

The ISI has tormented India for a long time. This may be because of the enhanced diplomatic dialogue with Musharraf/Vajpai's regime.

Undoubtedly, Pakistan's counterterrorism methods, which have significantly flourished on the latest devices with the help of associates like China, have provided to coming this menace. There has been a better and a higher level of intelligence also, though gaping problems keep on being. Additionally, India's war madness (some Urdu journalists termed it as "Bharat ka Jangi Junoon"), is increasingly getting consumed by its own creation. But the reality is that Indian War Madness has been kept in check mainly because of the economic conditions of the two neighbors. For that reason, it won’t be wrong to identify the reasons of Pakistan’s relative ease on the terror front.

Now, the question repeated again with which this post started out that "who is India’s most harmful outer opponent"? An official assisted by elaborating that although there may be security threats to India from many other sides– like China, obviously – the ISI threat can rarely be put aside. There would be circumstances whereby India would not be able to point its finger to the ISI in the event of upcoming terror strikes, but would be left in undoubtedly who is behind it.

Currently the newly seated Prime Minister of India, Modi will try to find techniques to have diplomatic dialogue with Pakistan, but on the other hand he strengthens India's Security Council by adding ex-Army Chief of India Gen. VK Singh in his cabinet and entrusted him ministry of DoNEr (Development of Northeastern Region) and appointed Mr. Ajit Doval (An activist of RSS) as the advisor of National Security. Now it would be a question of fact that how both of them will cope with fountainheads of India-centric terror?

TTP Strike on Pakistan Border - Many dead

15 militants and an army soldier were killed on Saturday after an ambush on a border post in Pakistan's restive northwestern tribal region.

As per statement of a senior army official "Approximately 200 Taliban militants from across the border assaulted a group of Pakistani posts and not less than 16 militants were killed in the brutal fighting,".

The attack occurred around midnight (10am AEST) in the Bajaur tribal district nearby Afghanistan.

The official confirmed that, "One soldier accepted martyrdom and two other soldiers were injured seriously,".

The official further said that, "The activists of TTP Bajaur and Swat chapters had regrouped in Ghund town of Afghanistan and launched the assault from there,".

Another military official verified the assault and casualties. Bajaur is one of seven semi-autonomous tribal regions affected by the insurgency.

Islamabad filed a protest over the invasion with Afghanistan's deputy ambassador, the Pakistan foreign ministry said in a statement issued on Saturday, and the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul brought up the matter with the Afghan foreign ministry. The statement stated that "To repulse the terrorist attack, Pakistani soldiers answered with artillery and aviation aid. Any claims about shelling on Afghan citizens within Afghanistan are incorrect,".

Due to the fact that the TTP rose up against the Pakistani state in 2007, over 6800 people have been killed in blast and gun attacks around Pakistan.
