That is an EASY one! I made peach cobbler! I made it on Sunday and I am still salivating over it. I have the last little bit in the fridge to eat for lunch today and I cannot wait for lunch!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I want to share the easiest cobbler recipe ever. I have seen other recipes that swear to be the easiest ever, but they all have more ingredients than mine. So, I swear this is the easiest ever. And man, oh man, is it delicious!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglvetvdI-DmGaHrm7qBi-oTQF_f4Gyze01myE48WtarqqPDVKtGfUO58UPHak6Zxtxe2kzltHv-q1xZOW5rS1FOg1Lg2InIOVA8qPIthkhyhqpa1rRibF4ihxmiJottdAFYZo-KU6Wtno/s1600/cobbler.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglvetvdI-DmGaHrm7qBi-oTQF_f4Gyze01myE48WtarqqPDVKtGfUO58UPHak6Zxtxe2kzltHv-q1xZOW5rS1FOg1Lg2InIOVA8qPIthkhyhqpa1rRibF4ihxmiJottdAFYZo-KU6Wtno/s1600/cobbler.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My sister gave me this recipe years ago and she hates to cook. A recipe has to be super
easy for her to want to make it. (She is a good cook, she just hates doing it.
LOL!) I vary this recipe, depending on how much fruit I am using and how doughy
I want it. The one above was made using the following:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Peach Cobbler</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Ingredients:<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">3 cups sliced peaches. (you can use fresh, frozen or
even canned)</span></li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1 cup flour</span></li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1 cup sugar</span></li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1 cup milk</span></li>
</ul>
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">1/3 stick butter</span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Put the peaches in a
baking dish. Mix flour, sugar and milk until blended and pour over fruit. Dot top with butter. Put in oven preheated to 350 and bake for one hour.
(If the dough does not seem done enough, I just put it back in the oven until it
is as done as I want.)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I have used less fruit
and decrease the amount of batter and I have used less batter for the same
amount of fruit. Just whatever I am in the mood for. Just be sure that you use
equal parts of flour, sugar and milk.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My sister's recipe
called for dotting the butter on the fruit before pouring the batter on, but my
hairdresser told me that he just melts it and mixes it into the batter. I have done that before and it worked great, but this time I didn't want to bother with melting butter.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So there is my super
easy cobbler recipe and it works for most fruits. But it does not work with
commercial pie filling. I tried that once and the batter did not sink under the
fruit...just sat on top. It tasted good, but looked odd.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hope someone makes it and enjoys it! @SocialInsiders #SocialSummer</span></div>

I am currently working on an afghan that my mom started, so I guess I already picked me craft. I always try to be ahead of the game.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">My mom crocheted all the time. She always had a project going, so we were all kept in afghans, pillows and house slippers. She also taught me how to crochet and I did it in spurts. I made a couple of lap afghans and lots and lots of scarfs.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">When I became a grandma for the first time, I picked it up again with a vengeance. I made each one of my grandsons 3 afghans when they were born. Their mamas are not sentimental, so I guarantee those are long gone, but oh well. I also made one for my great niece. She is now 8 and still has hers. Her mama IS sentimental. Since my youngest grandson is now 7, it has been a couple of days since I was crocheting for babies.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">Last year, when my mom passed away, we started going through things to determine what to get rid of, what to organize and what to keep to make Dad's home comfortable for him to live in. I mean, it was comfortable, but he didn't need to be surrounded by all Mom's stuff. He is totally not interested in Harlequin Romances. LOL!</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">We knew she had a TON of yarn. There is an entire craft room full of yarn, fabric and craft supplies. And we have not even gotten all the way through it yet, a year later. But we started finding unfinished crochet projects. Mom was always working on more than one at a time, so we weren't surprised. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">Since I enjoy crocheting and my two sisters that were there do not, I was designated to finish Mom's projects. Here are some pics of what I have finished so far. (Oh, and Mom always knew who things were for before she started, but we did not. So as I finish each thing, it goes to the one that it seems to be for.)</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">Large lap afghan that ended up being for sister, Jackie.</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6sSSD-63VDsVndy8iDJl890YpBLSreB0iGZpKA56Ny8eToWoPabA2YAxYVnD6RQZQIEjRfKz6HQH_tDlyH4hqoNetBXgWUC29oUkWciIi-Z9oTAmb4UG1ToyWRKutJGqaPMJp2cV8kEg/s1600/Afghan_Jackie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6sSSD-63VDsVndy8iDJl890YpBLSreB0iGZpKA56Ny8eToWoPabA2YAxYVnD6RQZQIEjRfKz6HQH_tDlyH4hqoNetBXgWUC29oUkWciIi-Z9oTAmb4UG1ToyWRKutJGqaPMJp2cV8kEg/s320/Afghan_Jackie.jpg" width="192" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">Next I only had to put a border around a little afghan. It went to my 3 year old great niece, Lexi</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUjHFYP6US-XrBaDSz2I0XPoYU40uLWe3Dq3X7AFRipXIgE_0KNrMPPD_1vB1Ie-sP0EhWnMU8yDE9QOh7yj0JetJHrvLyW0WsQWE-2QkhiEo_DLtFkj1kp6xshOorYrRYQFIDIfd1XF0/s1600/Afghan_Lexi.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUjHFYP6US-XrBaDSz2I0XPoYU40uLWe3Dq3X7AFRipXIgE_0KNrMPPD_1vB1Ie-sP0EhWnMU8yDE9QOh7yj0JetJHrvLyW0WsQWE-2QkhiEo_DLtFkj1kp6xshOorYrRYQFIDIfd1XF0/s320/Afghan_Lexi.jpg" width="192" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px; line-height: 15.3333px;">Then, since there was a lot of the same yarn from the baby afghan and because my niece, Jessica, loved the colors so much, I made her a large lap afghan. This pic was actually before I finished it. It is pretty big. LOL!</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjl3V16x9QJc7RqSF_V50DbUK7WX2GbSSagW1LkGBgvA879OS0tk_1iOkx5vfA8rNMH-6XGY-P_rQGmcrzEsfMsGFPStliv8eNid9gx0yCnNhUxPKMk-1VuC2pMfIWTYlvUdxjVwx5o0Y/s1600/Afghan_Jessie.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjl3V16x9QJc7RqSF_V50DbUK7WX2GbSSagW1LkGBgvA879OS0tk_1iOkx5vfA8rNMH-6XGY-P_rQGmcrzEsfMsGFPStliv8eNid9gx0yCnNhUxPKMk-1VuC2pMfIWTYlvUdxjVwx5o0Y/s320/Afghan_Jessie.jpg" width="192" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="line-height: 15.3333px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Those were the projects I had brought home when after Mom passed away. When I went there on vacation last month, I came back with a dufflebag of unfinished projects.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Not only am I enjoying crocheting, but I am able to give family members something Mom started and I finished. Oh, and I also will have to crochet an afghan for Hubby as he keeps asking me if it is his each time I finish something.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So, there are my crafty projects and carrying on a family legacy.I call that success!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">@SocialInsiders #SocialSummer</span>Franceshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01817017829323955078noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379327498578817385.post-51981850399101469682016-08-15T09:27:00.002-05:002016-08-15T09:27:31.820-05:00#SocialSummer - One of my favorite things.<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As a member of Social Insiders I have been challenged with telling you about my favorite thing. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This was a hard one as I have a lot of favorite things. Followers of my blog, if any are still around since I have not been blogging in a long time, might remember that my Hubby is one of my favorite things. But I think that is not the subject of the challenge. LOL!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So today I will tell you about one of my favorite things that is not my hubby!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Believe it or not, one of my favorite things is our rolling shopping cart. Yes, it really is! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgozqaSUrUudKIKj0pRSA41Q0DjWVh-3cEJzfMIlKS-RDNBInWAmBkiX9uaiwPtH6sY16VH7YXG9CkiWYX12WdlMQT21SmF8y_b8fk8o24sTEYAQHY9pD8sNnJtN1neb5d6u4NFjmmH7NE/s1600/cart.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgozqaSUrUudKIKj0pRSA41Q0DjWVh-3cEJzfMIlKS-RDNBInWAmBkiX9uaiwPtH6sY16VH7YXG9CkiWYX12WdlMQT21SmF8y_b8fk8o24sTEYAQHY9pD8sNnJtN1neb5d6u4NFjmmH7NE/s320/cart.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For years, Hubby and I lived in second floor apartments and we lugged thousands of pounds of groceries up those starts. And we hauled camping equipment up and down those stairs for years. Yes, even though Hubby goes camping by himself, I would help him lug his crap.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">When we moved to a first floor apartment, carrying groceries would have been easier, but for some reason, I decided I wanted a rolling cart. At the time we moved, apparently I thought we were rich as I was ordering all kinds of new stuff for our apartment, so I ordered a cart. I started using it to bring in groceries and I loved it!! What used to take me 3 trips between the car and apartment I could now make in one! It was awesome!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Of course, Hubby didn't think he needed to use it, until the first time he did. Then he realized how awesome it was! He especially loved that when he was in his wheelchair after surgeries he can move get stuff to and from the car. Regularly, he comments on how he is so glad we got this cart. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I will say it has really saved extra wear and tear on my knees and in the hot summer it is a dream to not have to go in and out of the heat!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So, there is one of my favorite things! We love it so much that when Aldi had one in its ad, Hubby went and got one to keep in the closet for when ours breaks or wears out. Love it!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

Social Insiders to blog about what makes my town special. I talk about living in the Houston area, but I actually live in the city of Pasadena, Texas. On the map, it looks like a suburb of Houston, but it is really its own city. No, really! Pasadena is really a historic city. And here are some interesting facts:<br />
<br />
Pasadena is one of the top 20 most populated cities in Texas.<br />

The city operates 15 tennis courts, several baseball fields, and a total of 43 parks total. These include over 14 miles of trails, four Youth Recreation Centers, an Adaptive Recreation center, three pools for Swimming or Aquatics, an Athletics department, a Dog Park, Party Rentals, a Golf Course, an Historical Museum, and a Senior Citizen Center.<br />

Armand Bayou Nature Center is a 2,500 acre preserve on the western shore of Galveston Bay in Pasadena. It is the only remnant of this region's original eco-systems: coastal tall grass prairie, bottomland forest and bayou. A diversity of plant life has taken root here, including bottomland hardwoods. Hundreds of species of wildlife thrive in the narrow wooded streams and scattered lakes, ponds and marshes.Armand Bayou also is a breeding and nursery ground for many fin fish and shellfish and a haven for rarely seen species such as bobcats and owls.<br />

HEB, but it is the most crowded grocery store in our area. Seriously, cars

<br />
Purex introduces its best clean available. Purex plus Clorox 2 combines the bright clean of Purex detergent with an extra powerful boost of Clorox 2 stain fighters. Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent works on 100 stains, is safe for colors, and bleach free. It comes in two fragrances: Original Fresh and Sunny Linen.<br />
<br />
Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent contains 2 stain-fighting enzymes to remove 100 stains:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Removes starchy stains like chocolate and tomato sauce</li>
<li>Removes protein-based stains like grass and blood.</li>
<li>Removes food stains that use guar gum like ice cream and BBQ sauce</li>
</ul>
<br />
As a member of Social Insiders, I received a free bottle of Purex plus Clorox 2 to try out and as with all Purex products, I was very happy to try it out. Unfortunately, or is is fortunate?, I haven't had any stains to fight with it, just boring old laundry. Too bad I couldn't use it on the carpet stains I had to clean this week!<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggVSAk8NqtsRpmS2HjOklTl4HN-jUp9AJ2wIdOi5vP5cWEyaakFuiPjxtqUe7Hs7SrxYfOYDjeuTBCT1zkDEC0qpNEF68eRnzIHGSPaxYIY3X5Qu3K1g-2-Q0Zimp4EtYRgYEE12yu5Dg/s1600/Purex+Plus+Clorox+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggVSAk8NqtsRpmS2HjOklTl4HN-jUp9AJ2wIdOi5vP5cWEyaakFuiPjxtqUe7Hs7SrxYfOYDjeuTBCT1zkDEC0qpNEF68eRnzIHGSPaxYIY3X5Qu3K1g-2-Q0Zimp4EtYRgYEE12yu5Dg/s320/Purex+Plus+Clorox+2.jpg" width="192" /></a>Here is a picture of Purex plus Clorox 2 with the afghan I am crocheting! I do find that it will be cost effective for us, as we use Clorox 2 in almost every load of laundry we do just in case we don't see a stain. It keeps our whites and colors bright. So having it combined with Purex detergent is a big plus and a great value for us!<br />
<br />
Readers of my blog know that I am a big Purex fan. This is actually our regular brand of detergent even when I don't have coupons for it! It is such a great value and does a great job on our laundry.<br />

The doctors were honest with our family and my dad and sisters decided not to submit my mom to difficult and grueling treatment that might only prolong her life for a few months. They would rather she be comfortable and I agree.<br />
<br />
Mom will be sent home from the hospital with/for hospice care for pain management. Hubby and I are leaving tomorrow to go be with her.<br />
<br />
Please continue to pray for our family in this difficult time.Franceshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01817017829323955078noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379327498578817385.post-9817612784846566432015-08-08T15:20:00.004-05:002015-08-08T15:20:51.581-05:00It is hard to blog when your heart is breaking.My mom has cancer.<br />

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">I try not to
be, but it is so darn hard!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">It seems
like, lately, that more and more things really bug me and make me feel like
lots of people are just idiots and I don’t know how they manage to take care of
themselves or anything else. (Oh, and I
am really in a good mood today, so this feeling is not just because I am
cranky.)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">I ride the
bus into work every day. It is a nice pleasant ride and I spend the 20 minutes
or so reading. It starts for a very relaxing day…except when another rider
feels that I MUST be party to their phone conversations. Usually, I just shake
my head. If they are really annoying, I plug in earbuds to block them out. The
other morning a “girl” behind me…early to mid-twenties…was talking on her
phone. I was not eavesdropping as she clearly did not mind everyone hearing her
conversation. But she did make the best comment ever: <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">“I was worn
out yesterday from texting all day.”<u5:p></u5:p><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">It was
all I could do not to burst out in hysterical laughter.<u5:p></u5:p> All I
could think was what would this woman do if she had to do any real work. It
made me sad for whatever company has hired her or hires her in the future. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Then I got to
work and looked around and it is astounding how many people are surfing the internet
and/or playing on their personal phones when I walk down the hall to my desk.
Admittedly, it is 8 am, BUT many of these people “start” work at 7:30. So how
is it fair to the company that they are not actually working?<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">It is not
really my concern, BUT a few months ago, I was “spoken to” about being on the internet.
Ummmmmm…I was at lunch…made clear by the fact that it was lunchtime and I had
food in front of me. Other members of my team regularly eat at their desks and
surf the net, but because “someone” said something and my boss is so concerned
with appearances, I had to be spoken to. So, now, I leave my desk and go eat
lunch somewhere else. And I am unavailable to my boss for that hour every day.
His loss. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Of course, I
can look at most other team members at any time during the day and they are on
the internet. Sure, they could be researching, but I don’t think any of our
jobs have anything to research on Facebook, Yahoo’s entertainment page or on
Youtube. Of course, that is just my opinion.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">I think maybe
my boss says something to me as he knows it will bother me that he might think
I was not working when I was supposed to be. Other members don’t care. LOL!

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">I was worried
that maybe I am just jealous that others get away with what I don’t, but I am
worried about the state of my company. If all of these people are surfing, who
is doing the work? We find out when we hear of some crisis where something did
not get done correctly and everyone needs to drop what they are doing and help
get the issue corrected. I just shake my head that any business is run this
way.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">I also get
irritated by people who cannot walk across the street without looking at their
phones. Come on people you need to look at the traffic lights…not your phone.
If it is so urgent, stop walking. I can’t even count how many people I have
told to “stop” because they were so intent on their phones that they didn’t see
the train coming. The freaking TRAIN! How can you cross train tracks and not
make sure there is no train coming first? But we hear almost weekly about
someone getting hit by the train in downtown Houston. I am sure those people
thought they had no fault in it. But I can assure you, the train is not
invisible and it is not silent.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

are so freaking magnetic!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">I guess I
could go on all day about things that people do that are so idiotic that it
annoys me to no end. Or, I could just try not to think about them. Maybe I will
try that for a while. Just be oblivious like everyone else. LOL!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">We went to
see Jurassic World in 3D and it was GREAT! LOVED it! Hubby and I got there
really early, since the last time we tried to go to a movie the lines were so
long at the box office that we left and went to another theater. Anyway, we
went into the theater and were the only people there, so picked our seats and
got comfy. We like to sit on the first row of the risers as Bobby likes to prop
his feet up on the railing. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">We kicked
back and after a bit, another guy walked in and sat down ONE SEAT OVER FROM ME.
I am glad I had my purse and umbrella in the seat next to me as he might have
sat there. LOL! THEN, since the trailers hadn’t started, he gets on the phone
and starts talking. OMG! Clearly he had no reason to worry about disturbing US.
Ugh! At least he put his phone away when the movie started. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">Before the
movie started, I put my purse down by my feet. No need to sit and worry about
it for the whole movie. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";">The next
couple of people that came in sat RIGHT BEHIND US. It was just hilarious! We
say it is because of our animal magnetism. And during the movie someone got on
their phone and started talking. At least that person got up and left the
theater, of course talking the whole way. I always wonder why people even go to
the movies if they cannot turn their phone off for an hour and a half. I don’t
think they are all brain surgeons. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

while I am on the subject of inappropriate cellphone use, when are people going
to realize that while you are driving is not a good time to be checking your

I have not gone and gotten prescription glasses as I am doing great with reading glasses. I now can function perfectly fine with 1.75 or 2.0 readers. And I can buy them at the dollar stores....for A DOLLAR.<br />
<br />
Why would I go get prescription glasses that I will have to pay more for? I have vision coverage, but my copy for glasses is $25. That is with no bells and whistles. No coatings. No progressives. Just plain single vision lenses. Why would I pay even $25 for one pair when for the same money I can buy 25 pair???<br />
<br />
So, I have readers everywhere; in my purse, in my desk drawer, in the bathroom, on the computer desk at home, on my nightstand. And a couple of "just in case" pair, one in my purse and one in my tote bag I carry to work. Those are just in case I don't have a pair handy when I need one. I love it.<br />
<br />
The only problem is that I take them off and put them on all day long and sometimes this happens:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihnzzvA27bSdoCSOiaJIkWugGJx7mkim9AaMOERwQw5OUkID_umkARDxR985Xe0xeVAlMqd5_F3LU1Ys8kOIAFJl6Aga48arhyphenhyphenS90pMJcc48v-hEstwFCzPyvxuFBKIse5f9GAxF_ADp4/s1600/broken+glasses.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihnzzvA27bSdoCSOiaJIkWugGJx7mkim9AaMOERwQw5OUkID_umkARDxR985Xe0xeVAlMqd5_F3LU1Ys8kOIAFJl6Aga48arhyphenhyphenS90pMJcc48v-hEstwFCzPyvxuFBKIse5f9GAxF_ADp4/s320/broken+glasses.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I tucked a pair in the neckline of my blouse and when I bent over, they fell out. And I step on them. Ugh! Good thing I had another in my purse. But this was a really cute pair of tortoiseshell that I liked. So I guess I will have to suck it up and head to the dollar store and part with another dollar. :-)<br />
<br />
Otherwise, I am loving my new, improved vision and have no complaints at all.<br />
<br />
Happy Tuesday, all!Franceshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01817017829323955078noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379327498578817385.post-88906690813592176032015-06-15T18:45:00.001-05:002015-06-16T16:15:05.612-05:00You don't have 3 days worth of food?A friend of mine posted this pic of her local grocery store water aisle.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVFcxTauzBD_zUJR8y8GLKzsb_wZxTtxfHPzwQ3AJFxxwDS5kTxz8jPrxLdcNjqAy2lfYzK4yPkfWDdHQ1YLy6GwgIrc_oVOAOfjDVT5f2USDy527NPupi4ja-uIvHb3QRY7-Y8V_rRjQ/s1600/heb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVFcxTauzBD_zUJR8y8GLKzsb_wZxTtxfHPzwQ3AJFxxwDS5kTxz8jPrxLdcNjqAy2lfYzK4yPkfWDdHQ1YLy6GwgIrc_oVOAOfjDVT5f2USDy527NPupi4ja-uIvHb3QRY7-Y8V_rRjQ/s320/heb.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div>
A tropical storm is in the Gulf of Mexico and headed toward the Texas coast. So everyone has gone crazy! Broadcasters are warning people to be sure and have at least 3 days worth of food and water. Apparently, the stores have been mobbed today.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Shelves emptied of water, batteries and food.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My first thought was that if you don't have enough food in your house to last for 3 days, you have a bigger problem than a tropical storm. Even when I was POOR I had enough food in my house to last 3 days. I had to.....I was poor. LOL!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And another thing a broadcaster warned people was to be sure and go to the ATM today in case you are flooded in tomorrow. If you are flooded in, why would you need cash???? I don't have to pay for anything inside my home. Crazy, I tell ya!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Personally, I am hoping to be flooded in so I can have tomorrow off. Our area does not really flood. When we had the "Memorial Day Flooding" we got rain but no standing water whatsoever. BUT, when it floods in Houston, the buses don't run. I take a park and ride bus every day to work. If the bus doesn't run, I am not going to work. I did last time as my girlfriend drove downtown, but she does not plan to go in tomorrow if it floods in Houston.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We are always prepared at our house. It is hurricane season. We live on the coast. Plus we always have enough food for 3 days. So, we are good.</div>

As a Purex Insider, I recently received a jar of Renuzit® Pearl Scents®. I immediately opened it up to smell and it smells really nice! I received th Sparkling Rain scent which is green and though green is not my favorite color. I do enjoy the scent. In put it on our bar next to some other candles and a plant and I think it looks nice.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdbdGcmu9mVFVc0jI88vc3KmX3jjQUfCSO1IyQUIxo1hscQQhYUbDoPExNVP77BuHnahNGl-m7nY1HhP-ITyqexiw6keMVrwEKA3NM7NQty15dlbzKbTocQ3KZkPaASGZeIDDIY5d4On4/s1600/Renuzit+Scent+Pearls+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdbdGcmu9mVFVc0jI88vc3KmX3jjQUfCSO1IyQUIxo1hscQQhYUbDoPExNVP77BuHnahNGl-m7nY1HhP-ITyqexiw6keMVrwEKA3NM7NQty15dlbzKbTocQ3KZkPaASGZeIDDIY5d4On4/s320/Renuzit+Scent+Pearls+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It seems like Renuzit® Pearl Scents® has a strong scent while I hold it....and have my nose in it, but it really is subtle. I have found myself picking it up and giving it a shake when I pass by which seems to strengthen the scent. I think the container is nice and would work in any room.<br />
<br />
There are several colors and scents, so you could work them with any color scheme. I think the pearls would be really pretty in clear glass dishes. Here it is in my bathroom:<br />

Last week I had emailed my sister asking what I could get for them. I wanted to send them something, but wanted it to be something they would want/love, not just something to have sitting around gathering dust.<br />
<br />
So, my sister texted me that she and my other sister and she were thinking about getting them a new rocker recliner as Mom had been thinking about getting one, but didn't want to spend the money. I thought it was a great idea and told Sis I was in...just let me know my part. She texted me yesterday that they had order the chair and it would be delivered today. It cost $300 and we are splitting 3 ways. A very reasonable price for a really good anniversary gift. I told Sis to send me a pic when it got there.<br />
<br />
Here is a pic of my dad in the new rocker recliner:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAq0b-N-gk0LLlKupct0J5Q7FIqfduXMhMEfMA9HTi09Hvbuc_BEzYQ3kRVj2XERi3oJV575dEj8gnk1UIKaGPNcNr3ETEhR1JOLmeYnIVjofryxbMlDuBDFDOH5NGYRoJGi0HI_Qx2js/s1600/IMG_2499+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAq0b-N-gk0LLlKupct0J5Q7FIqfduXMhMEfMA9HTi09Hvbuc_BEzYQ3kRVj2XERi3oJV575dEj8gnk1UIKaGPNcNr3ETEhR1JOLmeYnIVjofryxbMlDuBDFDOH5NGYRoJGi0HI_Qx2js/s320/IMG_2499+%25281%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Yes, it is CAMO! Sis said that my mom picked it out. It is perfect for them. After all, they DO live in a forest. Here is a clearer look at the chair:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbnEVR0cdutk4DBCm-WRKXftflNIZubGRgYcjOahsBRC_NySPlsyYTGvieQgDCMkS4DpozuaDv-GYvpIzWorjjLm-nSBHIJpqUOFMqL_m4VMbJzx677jv1v3-qtyifpSix68l7VFe5tVs/s1600/IMG_2501+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="258" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbnEVR0cdutk4DBCm-WRKXftflNIZubGRgYcjOahsBRC_NySPlsyYTGvieQgDCMkS4DpozuaDv-GYvpIzWorjjLm-nSBHIJpqUOFMqL_m4VMbJzx677jv1v3-qtyifpSix68l7VFe5tVs/s320/IMG_2501+%25283%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What is funny is that when Hubby and I were shopping for a rocker recliner, we tried one out just like this one. It was SO COMFY, but neither of us wanted camo in our living room. LOL!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So my sisters and I have once again proven our love for our parents. LOL!</div>

<br />
For months I have been hobbling around with a painful heel spur on my left foot. I knew that is what it was but I had other things to take care of that seemed more important. I also knew that my orthopedic doctor could put a cortisone shot in my heel that would probably get rid of the pain. But I was just too busy to make an appointment.<br />
<br />
We were dealing with Hubby's amputation and new prosthetic. Then I was dealing with having cataract surgery since that just seemed more important.<br />
<br />
Hubby got tired of me hobbling around, so said he was taking me to his podiatrist. He needed to go for a check and just made me an appointment at the same time. So we went today.<br />
<br />
Dr. Mac took Xrays and said, "That must be really painful." Ummm, it sure is. So he gave me an injection and the freaking pain is gone. Why did I wait so long??? I am just so stupid.<br />
<br />
But I will not be beating myself up longer than a few minutes because my heel does not hurt. Yeah! On the down side, I also came down with a sinus infection. I fix one thing and another is messed up. LOL!Franceshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01817017829323955078noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6379327498578817385.post-56251730956317776782015-05-15T15:40:00.002-05:002015-05-16T10:53:04.969-05:00Aldi has the best ham!<div class="MsoNormal">
A while back, I’m not sure when but before my cataract
surgeries, I mentioned to Hubby that Aldi had hams on sale for $.99/lb. I was
thinking about going to get one as I thought that was a good price. And I had
an Aldi coupon which is so rare that I thought I would do a little stock-up. <o:p></o:p></div>

That Saturday, Hubby said he was going to go check the mail

After a while, he called me and asked me to bring the cart
out and meet him at the car. I knew that meant he had gone shopping. <span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-symbol-font-family: Wingdings;">J</span> He had run to Kroger to get some soft drinks
and “swung by Aldi” to check out the hams. He bought 3 of them (bone in, not spiral cut)! But the price
was great, so I didn’t complain and did not even mention that I had a coupon.
Can’t cry over missed coupons, right? We put the hams in the freezer and went
about our business. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Then last Thursday, a week ago, I noticed a ham in the fridge
thawing so I figured that meant ham on the weekend. Saturday I put it in the
oven and since “it’s your ham”, I ended up cooking dinner. LOL! We had some
left over baked beans in the fridge and I made mashed potatoes and garlic
bread. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I have to tell you, that was the BEST ham I have eaten in
years! It was so good I wanted to just keep eating it. I didn’t, but I wanted
to. It was so much better than the boneless hams we have been buying at Kroger
for the last several years. Even the fancy spiral cut ones. I ate ham Sunday
evening, too. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
After dinner, I cut most of the ham off the bone and put some
in the fridge, some in the freezer and left a bit on the bone and Hubby made a
big pot of beans with the ham bone in it a few nights ago. It they were delish!<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I am still thinking about that ham a week later. LOL! It is
just that good.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We are on a roll with Aldi, I guess. I got some more coupons
in the mail, so think I will go make a stockup run this weekend. When Aldi
opened around the block, I thought I would be there all the time, but Hubby has
been doing lots of the grocery shopping recently and he just heads to Kroger
most of the time. But I still love my Aldi!<o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
In other news, my eyes are great and I finished the drops
yesterday. Yeah for that being over. Next issue is seeing the podiatrist to see
what he can do about bone spurs in my feet. I am starting to fall apart. <o:p></o:p></div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZPIjPM_2wljblh-6FUebReOturJ-5Pt4aSO2CKIIQ7o0baFUG8fCwLqi0iwt-JTo-fSDr5Jxl0oQRkjiWbbEPRR29gITkuWtx2UJ_vggGbUxp6WZrpI05LPhavGyflYrta3938fY8KlQ/s1600/glasses14_2_lg16x9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZPIjPM_2wljblh-6FUebReOturJ-5Pt4aSO2CKIIQ7o0baFUG8fCwLqi0iwt-JTo-fSDr5Jxl0oQRkjiWbbEPRR29gITkuWtx2UJ_vggGbUxp6WZrpI05LPhavGyflYrta3938fY8KlQ/s1600/glasses14_2_lg16x9.jpg" height="180" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Well, I am
actually 4 weeks post-op for my left eye and 2 weeks post-op for my right eye.
And I have to say I am very, very pleased. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My distance vision in both eyes
is crystal clear. Something I have NEVER had. I was diagnosed as being extremely
nearsighted when I was 6, so I have never had clear distance vision. I guess I
thought everyone saw stuff that was in the distance as blurry. I still am
amazed to be able to look down the hall at work and see things so clearly. Or
to be able to see cars and street signs so clearly that are WAY DOWN THE
STREET. It really is pretty incredible. I have worn glasses all my life and
contact lenses for about 20 years and never was my vision corrected to this
clarity. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The surgeries
were not painful at all. I have heard that some placed give shots to numb the
eye, but mine was numbed with drops. No needles were ever used near my face. I
did have IVs in the back of my hand each time. I was told that I was given
Valium to help me to be calm. I laughed and told them both times that I could
not be much calmer or I would be asleep. I was not nervous for either surgery.
Honestly, I couldn’t tell if I did get Valium as I did not feel anything. I was
told I would feel drowsy but I didn’t. I felt wide awake and alert the entire
time. And that was not just my imagination. Hubby told me that I did not seem
to have had any anesthesia. I was also told that I would probably want to nap
when I got home. I did not. So it was a very mild dose, I guess.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I did not get patches over my
eyes after surgery. Just walked out and went home wearing my own sunglasses.
And they worked just fine. After the first surgery, we went through a drive
thru and picked up some lunch. We got home and I settled in my recliner and
kept the room pretty dim since my eye was still dilated, but I was not at all
sleepy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The only rough part was like I
wrote about previously about it being hard to see between surgeries. I will
tell you, anyone that is extremely nearsighted that intends to have vision
correcting lenses inserted when they need to have cataract surgery, needs to
have both eyes done as closely together as possible. The time between surgeries
was awful for me. I ended up being off work for 14 days instead of the 7 days I
had planned. I could have used short term disability, but I have a ton of
vacation days, so just used those. I thought I would be worried about missing
work, but it would have been pointless for me to go in as I could not sit in
front of a computer for more than an hour without getting eye strain and a
little dizzy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I did not
read much in between as it just was not comfortable. I just binge watched tv
and movies. I became addicted to Law and Order SVU, a show I had never watched
before, and got through many seasons of it on Hulu. LOL!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The second
surgery was as easy as the first. No pain whatsoever. After it was done, Hubby
and I opted to stop at a Denny’s for breakfast as my surgery was at 7:30 am.
The only issue I had was that everything was really bright as my right eye was
still dilated, so I just kept my sunglasses on most of the time. I didn’t even
think about bringing reading glasses, so Hubby had to order for me as I could
not read the menu. LOL!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The next day
I could see so clearly! It was excellent. At my follow-up appointment, my dr.
said my eye looked so good that he lifted the driving restriction, so as soon
as I got home I called my hairdresser and made an appointment for the next day.
LOL!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I know some
people have the same issue I did between surgeries, like <a href="http://simpleslug.blogspot.com/2015/04/just-call-me-cyclops.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+DontReadThisItsBoring+%28DON%27T+READ+THIS%3B+IT%27S+BORING%21%29" target="_blank">Sluggy</a> is having now.
But most people do not. My dad waited 6 years between his. LOL! You do have to
put eye drops in your eyes for several weeks afterwards, but I don’t have a
problem with that. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hope my
experience helps you prepare if/when you have to have cataract surgery.</span><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>

Not ours. Hubby has been busy, busy, busy working on his...I mean our....garden. I guess I should have taken before pics, but I didn't. I guess the closest I got was the pic of our front door when the ramp was put in for us in September. (We were expecting some wooden temporary ramp, but they poured us a concrete one. Our apartment management loves us!)<br />

To the left, across from the window is actually a big empty dirt area. The plant you see were set there by the movers when we moved in and just sat there in their pots while Hubby went through surgery and recovery.</div>
