Actually people think that Google's popularity is because of its simple and fast searching interface but friends, its more popular because it has rich operators and query support that will make your searching experience even better. Most of us doesn't know which operators are supported by Google and if they know some of them, they doesn't know how actually these operators work and enrich our searching practice. Today, i will tell you How we can search on Google like elite hackers or simply say computer experts do. But for this its necessary that you should know and understand all the Google operators properly. So lets learn how we can enrich our searching experience in Google.

Google operators:

Google operators are classified into two basic categories:
1. Basic Google Operators like and, or, not etc.
2. Advanced google operators like inurl, intitle etc. I am also including bonus search queries that are extremely useful for hackers.

Basic Google Operators:-

1) And (+) :- This operator is used to include multiple terms in a query which is to be searched in google.
example:- if we type "hacker+yahoo+science" in google search box and click search, it will reveal the results something which are related to all the three words simultaneously i.e. hacker, yahoo and science.

2 ) OR (|) :- The OR operator, represented by symbol( | ) or simply the word OR in uppercase letters, instructs google to locate either one term or another term in a query.

3) NOT :- It is opposite of AND operator, a NOT operator excludes a word from search.
example:- If we want to search websites containing the terms google and hacking but not security then we enter the query like "google+hacking" NOT "security".

Advanced Operators:-

1) Intitle :- This operator searches within the title tags.

Description:- intitle:hacking returns all pages that have the string "hacking" in their title.

intitle:"index of" returns all pages that have string "index of" in their title.

Similar operator:- "allintitle".

2) Inurl :- Returns all matches, where url of the pages contains given word.

Description:- inurl:admin returns all matches, where url of searched pages must contains the word "admin".

Companion operator:- "allinurl".

3) Site :- This operator narrows search to specific website.

Description : It will search results only from given domain. Can be used to carry out information gathering on specific domain.

example:- site:www.microsoft.com will find results only from the domain www.microsoft.com

4) Link :- This operator allows you to search for pages that links to given website.

example:- link:www.microsoft.com

Here, each of the searched result contains asp links to www.microsoft.com

5) Info :- This operator shows summary information for a site and provides links to other google searches that might pertain to that site.

example:- info:www.yahoo.com

6) Define :- This operator shows definition for any term.

example:- define:security

It gives various definitions for the word "security" in different manner from all over the world.

7) Filetype :- This operator allows us to search specific files on the internet. The supported file types can be pdf, xls, ppt, doc, txt, asp, swf, rtf, etc..

example:- If you want to search for all text documents presented on domain www.microsoft.com then we enter the query something like following.

"inurl:www.microsoft.com filetype:txt"

Description- AspJar contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to delete arbitrary messages. The issue is triggered when the authentication method is bypassed and /admin/delete.asp is accessed directly. It is possible that the flaw may allow a malicious user to delete messages resulting in a loss of integrity.

3. For searching personal information of person:
In Google Search box type :-

"phone * * *" "address *" "e-mail" intitle:"curriculum vitae"

Description- This search gives hundreds of existing curriculum vitae with names and address. An attacker could steal identity if there is an SSN in the document.

4.For searching secret financial spread sheets:
In Google Search box type :-

intitle:"index of" finance.xls

Description- Secret financial spreadsheets 'finance.xls' or 'finances.xls' of companies may revealed by this query.

5. In Google Search box :-

intitle:"index.of" robots.txt

Description- The robots.txt file contains "rules" about where web spiders are allowed (and NOT allowed) to look in a website's directory structure. Without over-complicating things, this means that the robots.txt file gives a mini-roadmap of what's somewhat public and what's considered more private on a web site. Have a look at the robots.txt file itself, it contains interesting stuff. However, don't forget to check out the other files in these directories since they are usually at the top directory level of the web server!

Description- Locate "admin" directories that are accessible from directory listings.

Click on the Start Now button to initiate the process.

We download a lot of files from the web. Most of the time, we won’t be having the required software to open the downloaded file. We wouldn’t like to download a software to open a file for a single time use. FreeOpener comes to our rescue here, It can open almost 70+ different formats of files.

FreeOpener is feature filled and it supports some of the rarest formats too. FreeOpener can open Bit Torrent files (.torrent) and shows the files that can be downloaded through it. It can extract compressed files like .zip .rar .7z etc…

We guys do see a lot of images or wallpapers each day. I do know a lot of friends who constantly search for images or wallpapers for their desktop daily. Myself, being a blogger, I become a lot tiresome because of searching images for my blog posts. Is there any way so that we can download all images related to a particular search? Well, the answer is Yes! Do you want to know a way to download images from Google Images in bulk? Head down..

There is a pretty awesome software called Multi Image Downloader with which you can download a bulk set of images from Google Images. First download this software and then install the software and open it.
Now search for images in Google Images and after the images get populated, copy the link (URL) from the address bar and paste it in the box available in the software. Now click the button Get Images Links. Wait for sometime. The images links will get populated. Now click “Set Folder” and then select the folder where you want the images to be downloaded. Now click “Download“. Now wait for sometime till the images get downloaded.

Note: You can download a maximum of 5 pages (around 100 images) only!
One of the notable features of this software is that you can download images in any format and also you can block content! Moreover the downloaded images will have the same dimensions of the original images!

Open your VLC player

Playing pranks on your friends on Facebook is a good method to kill your boredom. While browsing the web, I found a website which provides a method to create own fake conversations with friends/celebrities/public figures. I suggest you to use the website only to prank your friends and not for any other means. the site is fully meant for entertainment purpose. Let’s see how to create your prank.

As I told already, there is a website to do this prank specially. The name of the website is FakeConvos. As the name indicates, it is meant for creating Fake conversations. When I logged into the website, I just found it was truly amazing. The favicon of the website was the Facebook’s favicon which was flipped horizontally.

Click on the button Create a new convo or click on the image below to continue.

On the left sidebar of the website, Enter the name of the commentator.

Also browse images for the person you want to start conversation with. you can also do Google Image search or select your friend’s thumbnail or choose from the given default thumbnails.

Then enter the message. Now, you type the first message of the conversation.

After typing your message, click on start stream.

Your first message of the conversation will be created below. To add comments, start to type the commentator name, browse image and type the fake comment.

After creating the conversation fully, give a name and click on Save it.

The Simplest Way To Quickly Turn On/Off Major Features On Android

With so many features that you can switch on or off (Wifi, 3G data, GPS..) isn't it great to have a centralized place to access all the switches?
Widgetsoid creates widgets on your Android home screen and allows you to fill in any amount of quick toggles. It is an app with infinite possibilities and modifications.
Many Android users often ask:

What is the simplest way to turn on/off mobile data?
What is the simplest way to turn on LED light? (if your device has one)

3) 2G/3G toggle - This toggle doesn't really work; it only brings you to the Mobile network settings page (Google doesn't allow any app to do this for some reason, not just Widgetsoid)
4) Bluetooth on/off - Again, my laziness swarmed me
5) GPS on/off - Brings you to the GPS settings page, might work for some devices?
6) Lock/Turn screen off :)

1) Silent/Vibration toggle - You may choose different combination in Widgetsoid settings
2) Orientation sensor on/off
3) Activate/Deactivate USB Storage mode - Just plug the USB cable to PC, and press this button!
4) Screen always on - Handy when you're working with something and don't want the screen to turn itself off
5) Flashlight - Turns your camera LED on/off. Works for my SGS II (have to choose method 2 in Widgetsoid settings) but not sure for other devices. Try different methods to see which works for your device.
6) Volume control - 6 different volumn controls all in one

Widgetsoid settings that I mentioned above can be accessed by launching the app.
Some Tips: When customizing your widget, go to Advanced tab and check 'Modifiable' and 'Modifiable icon', this allows you to edit your widget easily later. Also you may save your widget profile easily and reload them later :)
Widgetsoid is very customizable and may take quite some time to learn all its features, there are many more features that I didn't mention such as adding a contact/application shortcut as toggles.
PS: Widgetsoid2.x is for Android version 2.x; If you're running Android 1.6 try this one instead.

How To: Post A Status Longer Than 420 characters

Has your status ever been too complicated to describe in less than 420 characters? The maximum length of a status update on Facebook is currently 420 characters. If you exceed that number you will get this annoying error message:

“Status updates must be less than 420 characters. You have entered 804 characters here. Notes can be much longer. Would you like to edit and post your update as a Note instead?”

Sometimes you may have a lot to say but you don’t want to post it in a note.
How it works:
All you have to do is “Upload a Photo” instead of sharing a status.

Step 1: Simply grab a photo off your hard drive, any photo you want to accompany your extremely long status update.
Step 2: Once you select your photo, you can write as much as you want! Part of your message will be covered up by a “See More” link, but its better than nothing.

Step 3: Click Share!

Burn a CD/DVD on Windows 7 or Vista without using software

CD/DVD burning capability has been added to Windows Operating System since the release of Windows XP. However, the steps to burn CD/DVD on Windows Vista and Windows 7 are a bit different (and somewhat simpler) comparing to Windows XP.

You can use this built-in feature to create a data CD/DVD or an audio CD. The steps below will guide you through the procedures. Although the steps below are based on Windows 7, they are very much similar to Windows Vista.
If you're using a Re-Writable CD (CD-RW) or DVD (DVD-RW, DVD+RW), make sure the disc is blank (or "formatted"). You might need to erase (or "format") it before using. For information how to erase a rewritable CD/DVD on Windows Vista or Windows 7 without using a third-party software

Insert a blank recordable/rewritable CD (CD-R) or DVD (DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW) disc into the CD burner drive.
With a new blank disc, Windows might pop up a prompt asking you which format you want to use (as shown on the image below).
As explained on the popup, the option "Like a USB Flash Drive" is more convenient if you want to use the disc as an external storage, which you can add or delete (rewritable disc) files on the fly; however, once the disc is formatted with this option, it can only be read on computers with Windows XP or later. On the other hand, the option "With a CD/DVD Player" is the traditional format of CD/DVD disc and is compatible with a wider range of Windows versions as well as other devices, but requires to burn the disc (or erase the entire disc) all at once.
To keep it simple, we will follow the steps to create traditional CD/DVD, so select "With a CD/DVD Player". Don't forget to change the "Disc title" to something descriptive for your disc, then click "Next".
Navigate to the folders or files which you want to burn to the disc, then select (highlight) the folders/files and click "Burn" (located above the file browsing panels)
A new window is now created similar to the following image, showing the selected files and folders added to the queue to burn to disc. Click "Burn to disc".
On the next popup "Burn to Disc", verify the disc title and select the maximum burning speed, then click "Next".
If you have selected audio files (i.e. MP3), you will be asked to burn the disc as data or audio as shown in the following image. For details on the differences between data and audio discs, please prefer to this article.
The burning wizard will start writing data to the disc and will close and eject the CD/DVD when finish.
