Hello everyone! I am back after several days of planting my organic garden and helping my father with his beekeeping. Things are starting to get busy with spring here and there are a lot of things to do and learn.

My last post was about juicing, and I wanted to provide some information about juicers. There are many types of juicers to choose from, but I suggest that people start out with something simple just to get your feet wet. My first juicer was an Omega and I used it for several years. Then my boyfriend purchased a Champion juicer which we used for many years. I loved this juicer because it had a screen attachment which we used to grind almonds for almond butter.

I am now looking into buying a Green Star juicer which has a lot of favorable ratings. The goal here is to create juicing at least once a day so do not let your attention be on the equipment but rather the process. One can obtain the most expensive juicer on the market, but it will not be beneficial to leave it in the cabinet unused.

My sister and I like to go garage selling for bargains, and I always find juicers still in the orginal box that have never been used. I like to purchase these and give them to my friends. A few years ago I ran across a new juicer and paid $5.00 for it at a garage sale and gave it to my father. We used this juicer every time we came to see him, but it wore out and he had to purchase a new one.

I have been juicing for over 17 years and have learned the value of juice fasting in overcoming illnesses. If one is a busy person, juicing is a terrific way to get your vitamins and minerals quickly instead of having to sit down and eat a salad. Juices are full of live enzymes that serve as a catalyst for every chemical reaction in the body.

We were designed to operate on living unprocessed nutrients. The more we do to a fruit or vegetable in preparation for eating the less value remains. Fresh juice provides absolute live nutrition. Listed below is a juice I make almost every day but the ingredients may vary depending on what is available in my refrigerator. The goal is to use produce before it goes bad, so be creative.

Always try to include as many greens as possible because they contain chlorophyll and have many health benefits. Chlorophyll is a blood detoxifier which increases circulation to your organs. See my next blog for more about super green foods. Don't worry about owning the best and most expensive juicer to start out. Just go buy a juicer anywhere start juicing today.

What's In My Refrigerator Juice
4 stalks celery
4 carrots
1/3 red pepper
1 medium apple
1 handful baby spinach
4 romaine lettuce leaves

Don't juice the apple core! Drink slowly! Be happy about your health

Welcome everyone to my new blog "Natural Healing". My recipe today is for the "dragon slayer" shot. This mixture will help you overcome illness and strengthen your overall immune system.

1. Juice from one lemon
2. 1 clove of garlic - thru garlic press
3. 1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper

Stir up in a small glass and eat with a spoon. Don't drink it all at one for this may upset your system. If your immune system is down due to a cold, flu etc. you might want to drink this mixture twice a day.

This has been a life saver for me.
