With the regular cutting pads, sometimes the score lines would cut through. The crease pad has more give to it, and some are actually thinner than the cutting pads—this allows the die to cut the cut lines and score the score lines, and in the case of nestabilities, you can create the embossed design at the same time as making the cut.

Hope that helps! :-)Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02553432536463671162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31469327.post-76620284534755845942015-12-19T19:11:55.036-06:002015-12-19T19:11:55.036-06:00wouldn't this cause cutting into the crease pa...wouldn't this cause cutting into the crease pad. that it couldn't be used except for a cutting pad.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06963087500384351201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31469327.post-58581013969629627792015-07-31T22:34:30.965-05:002015-07-31T22:34:30.965-05:00Hi, please tell us "newbie's" what a...Hi, please tell us "newbie's" what a craft stick is. I used Pixelmator on my iMac. When I was on a PC I used Paint Shop Pro — loved it and wish that I could have continued using it with a Mac, but that wasn't an option. iPhoto also has a filter that will convert images to black and white. I find that it's just easier to see what needs to be carved out or left untouched if the image is simple.Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02553432536463671162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31469327.post-75202290810819364472014-02-05T14:31:47.470-06:002014-02-05T14:31:47.470-06:00Thank you! :-)Thank you! :-)Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02553432536463671162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31469327.post-49189494935321044222014-02-05T14:31:21.349-06:002014-02-05T14:31:21.349-06:00I've found that I don't really have a conc...I've found that I don't really have a concrete picture of the characters in my mind, but I do have strong notions about their personalities. So I don't worry much about whether an actor necessarily looks like the character, but rather whether they will act in the way that I've come to expect. That said, I have enough of a mental image that if the casting is very different, then I find it jarring. So far I can't complain about the cast of Outlander. I hope I can say the same after seeing the series.Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02553432536463671162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31469327.post-61817427234799579542014-02-04T17:11:54.664-06:002014-02-04T17:11:54.664-06:00Never tried this...your first time is Awesome!!!! ...Never tried this...your first time is Awesome!!!! I am nervous about it being recreated on the TV screen because I have a picture in my mind of what the characters look like, and I'm not sure the real actors will meet up with my "vision".Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08674601197315599269noreply@blogger.com
