It is just about an hour after posting about the rumour, and it is coming true,, what an amazing imac?

You will be glad to see my posting to day, and what you are waiting for now in the market to stock and ready to buy..

today marks a day of great surprise as Apple secretly unveils an all new line of Mac mini, iMac and Mac Pro on its official online store.

Even though I believe that Apple is getting dry on its techniques of product marketing but it still feels good to know that Apple is not giving up on its products already and still working on making them better and more efficient.

The new iMacs come with Intel Core 2 Duo processors up to 3.06GHz, either 20-inch or 24-inch LCD displays, and up to 8GB of RAM. Each with a storage space of up to 1TB and with integrated AirPort Extreme WiFi and Bluetooth. Pricing for 20-inch model starts at $1199 and for the 24-inch model at $1499.

As for the new Mac Pro, it comes with the new Quad-Core Intel Xeon Nehalem processor and its pricing starts at $2,499.

The new Mac mini is what makes as the actual show-stopper for the day. It features the new Nvidia Graphics chipset, a more energy-efficient architecture and ships with the new iLife 09.
It now comes with over 4GB of memory and is priced at $599 or more. All of these products will be available for purchase at the official Apple store within next 24 hours.

And thats all for the new juicy hardware upgrades by Apple. Now what we really want to look forward to at is the 3rd Generation iPhone.

Apple Rumour will be a hot topic to debate, the apple lover come and wait what is the new in apple release..

A recent wave of rumor suggests that Apple might be planning for an event on March 24 to unveil the new line of upgraded iMacs, Mac Minis and Mac Pros.The rumor comes from My Apple Guide and World of Apple, who claim to have been tipped off by some anonymous source about this upcoming event by Apple.

According to the sources, this event will focus on new desktop hardware and will be quite similar to the Apple Notebook event that took place in October last year.
Perhaps whats new to see is the new Mac Mini, new iMacs with Nvidia chipset and Mac Pros with Xeon processors.

Lately, mostly everything about Apple has been depressing including Steve Jobs' leave of absense and Apple's announcement of no more having Macworld Expos. But we hope this event might be able to bring the spotlight back on Apple and its great line of products.
Its still a rumor, but we hope its true.

HTC Magic is the First Touch-only Android phone

Later this January, UzEE shared some leaked photos of a new Android phone which supposedly was known as the G2 but as HTC unrolls more of its new phones at the Mobile World Congress 09 today, we realize that it might actually be the HTC Magic.

The HTC Magic is an Android-powered phone, just like the G1, except for that it doesn't come with a physical keyboard. It consists of a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera (with no flash) and a G1 style trackball. Here is an official product image of the HTC Magic.

Also the phone carries a proprietary headphone jack and seems to be coming with Vodafone instead of T-Mobile. Take a look at some of the images of HTC Magic brought to you by Engadget and MobileCrunch

Its quite slim as compared to the G1 but certainly doesn't win the mobile slimness popularity contest as the iPhone is there to challenge it all along.

The HTC Magic comes with Cupcake (the latest firmware for Android with new features) out-of-the-box which also brings the touchscreen keyboard to the phone. The accelerometer is there to change the orientation of the phone automatically when it is rotated.

It is expected to hit the UK market somewhere near April of this year. However no word on the price has been confirmed yet.

Nokia to unveil an 8 Megapixel phone?

Already behind LG, Samsung and Sony Ericsson in the Mega Pixel race, Nokia is going to unveil a new 8 Mega Pixel device in two days at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Earlier today, Nokia teased us with a photo on the official Nseries site, claiming that it had been taken with a Nokia device at Barcelona.

The picture seems to be taken from a very high speed device which managed to focus the skater brilliantly even in mid air. The image is a solid 2.7 MB with a 2448 x 3264 resolution. A closer inspection of the image revealed some pretty impressive EXIF data from the meta tags.

Its interesting to note that the equipment maker is indeed Nokia while the device has a 300 DPI Carl Zeiss lens. The shutter speed is quite high, at 1/1000 secs. Whats even more surprising is the fact that the creation software is titled Adobe Photoshop CS3, and the picture is taken on February 17th, 2009 at 9 am.

Now either this device also has the ability to beam back photos in time, or that is the official time for the announcement of the phone. If all this is authentic (Nokia has posted the image of course), then this new device would clearly be aimed for a Q2-Q3 launch, though I doubt it would be a flagship Nseries as the Nokia N97 would take that throne this year.

Apple : Leaked of the next generation of iPhone

Later yesterday we published a report on A new generation iPhone, highlighting some of the limitations in the current iPhone OS and hardware and providing a list of suggested features for an upcoming version of the iPhone.

As we discussed that a new generation iPhone may already be in the works at Apple, a recent wave of rumors is definitely here to support us in this case.
Macrumors has been tipped off with some images of a new iPhone which looks to be the next generation iPhone.

As you can see above, this casing for the supposedly new iPhone is much different to what we have seen in the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G. The new case-back is said to be made out of metal and is also said to be textured to provide a better grip for the user.

Even though the images come from a source in China, the leaked images look quite real and who knows, this might actually be a real casing for the upcomign iPhone.

Samsung phone : Samsung Blue Earth, the First Solar Powered Touch Phone

On an effort to make use of the resources provided by nature, Samsung has recently unveiled a new touchscreen phone called as the Blue Earth.

What makes the Blue Earth so special is that it runs totally on the energy provided by the sun and its body is made totally out of plastic obtained by recycled water bottles. Mostly we have seen such phones in concept earlier but Samsung is planning to finally give this phone a face of reality.

The phone resembles the Palm Pre in design and features a sleek touch-screen on the very front. The back is fully covered with a solar panel which generates the whole power to run the phone and the Blue Earth also claims to have an "eco mode" which when turned on, automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen and turns off the Bluetooth to save power.
A built-in pedometer in the phone keeps you aware of how much CO2 you are saving by walking instead of driving.

Sadly, Samsung has not published any details regaring the OS, hardware or price of the phone. However, stay tuned as more details will be published during Mobile World Congress 09 which starts in a countdown of three days.

Apple New Release : A new generation of iPhone

The current iPhone has a lot of limitations in its OS and hardware but that certainly doesn't mean that Apple is not considering to upgrade the software and hardware features in a newer generation of the iPhone.

Observing Apple's behavior closely on product development and release gives us a definite clue that just like we got to see a new generation of the iPhone and iPod Touch last year, an even new generation of the iPhone may already be awaiting us this year.

Gizmodo has made a mockup of the new generation iPhone which they call it as the iPhone 4G.

According to them, the very noticeable features of this new generation iPhone would be:
-A removable battery
-32GB of on-board storage
-Made out of Titanium and Glass
-An OLED display
-3.2MP camera with video recording
-Front camera for iChat

While the design mock-ups suggested by Gizmodo for the new iPhone might be way too much ideal in concept, the new set of suggested features is something what a user would really want to see in the new iPhone.

Till we get another wave of rumor on the new iPhone, we are still clueless on what unique it has to offer.

Today I’m going to review a site which helped me a lot through troubled times with my pc, when I just wanted to bang my head against the wall. This actually is not an ordinary website, but rather a massive library of file extensions that is an authority on the subject among the technical community. This site includes all you need to know about file types, what they are used for, programs they are associated with, while it also provides information on how to fix file extension related errors.

Different file formats

Ever noticed that every file stored on your computer has a suffix, ending with a “.” And usually 3 letters (however it can be less or more) depending on its file-type association. File extensions are the part of a file which associates the file with an application. Let’s say you have a document named “myfile.PDF”. The file extension part is “.PDF”. When you rename a file, you are only renaming the part before the “.” and not the file extension itself. If you change the file extension part that file has a high probability of not working next time you try to open it.
There exists confusion amongst the technology geek community as to what nomenclature should be used to refer to the last part of a filename. The most commonly used and accepted term is file extension however others refer to it as file suffix, file format or even file-type. It varies from person to person however all these names are correct.

As already stated, File-Extension.com is a comprehensive online database of thousands of file extensions, explaining what they are used for and the programs they are associated with. File-Extension.com’s user-friendliness far exceeds other websites I have seen, which give some type of file extension support. The site design is pleasing to the eye, unlike other more amateurishly styled websites, and it is constantly updated with new file extensions. 10 Basic Tips For the Internet Explorer (IE)

in order to use the Internet Explorer (IE) effectively, we have some basic tips for you to try… Ok let’s go now.

-To extend the window area of the IE, you can make it easy by pressing the F11 key. Then you press it again in order to return the IE to the normal window.

-Sometimes you want to search a keyword in a long web page that you are surfing. How do you do ?? Just press Ctrl+F and place the keyword you want.

-Using Backspace key in your keyboard instead of clicking Back in the IE window.

-You can close your IE window that you are surfing by Ctrl+W.

-To see the surfing websites history, Press F4 key to see the URL which you have typed.

-Press Ctrl+D in order to save the url which you are surfing. And the url will be in the Favorites.

-To send a web page to your friend. Do you know we can send it by email from the IE’s tools ? Let you try it, go to File > Send > Page by E-mail…

-To slide the web page by using the keyboard, try it with the arrow keys. To slide it to the bottom and the top of the web page, try the End and Home key.

-If you find a picture that you prefer it to be the desktop wallpaper, you can immediately set it, right click on the picture area and select the Set as wallpaper.

-To slide the web page gradually, you may use the Page up, Page down and Spacebar keys. Try it !

How to run Windows XP from a USB stick

Recent days, there are so many Linux comes with live CDs. This is an alternative way for those who doesn’t want to install Linux on their hard drive. The live CD also become a problem solver when the system wont boot up or something happened with the system & you may rescue the files with CD. Beside the CDs, one of merely known Linux named DSL are comes with damn live USB! Note that this method required a computer which have ability to boot from USB devices.

By the chance, I heard something about Windows XP live in a USB flash disk. This is much interesting for me & would like to tried it. In a seconds, there was a secure link referred to the download page from Google. It size’s about 54MB & the link are here.

After it had completely downloaded, the packages are being extracted with WinRAR ~ since it is compressed with RAR format somehow. Finally, there are 7 files extracted from it. The first 2 files are the manual in Germany & Russian language. You might not found the English documentation because bartPE are seems developed by a Germany. First of all, we need to provide a USB stick with minimal size of 256MB. Then, make a fresh quick format with hpusbfw.exe tool includes in the packages. See the picture below.

After the format process done, reboot the system & make sure to activate the USB boot sequence from BIOS ~ while the USB disk are still plugged in. Let the computer booted from it & it will displayed a boot process in the monitor. The boot processes are taking much times depend upon the USB storage speed, so it would be great if you also preparing a coffee & a cigarette during waiting the desktop showing up.

The default desktop background is covered by dark bartPE pictures. In the left corner are showing up a “Go” button ~ representing a Start button in a real Windows. Have a click on it, it will raise a list of simple menu pointing to the default applications such as Windows Wordpad, the Calculator program, Paint image editor & a file manager called A43 replacing the Windows Explorer instead.
Note that this USB live also equipped with the fully functionality of command prompt. From the picture below, it’s DOS are actually come from a real Windows XP.

To view the detailed system information, take a tour to About menu. It will displayed a core simple information likes the system environment & other embedded programs.

Look at the picture below again, an About link from Paint programs shows you the exactly same as the About you might found in a real Windows. However, it is a Germany entirely. Doesn’t have to confused with it.
Although it has great advantages, eg: to rescue the system, it’s legality to use is being asked. This one link from several address pages are showing about the proprietary law legality. For me, it might be fine as long as the needed are still in a right condition. Have a nice mobility with it.

How to Hack Windows XP into a Mac Desktop

Previously, we showed you how to create custom desktop themes and now we’ll show you how to make Windows XP look like a Mac. By turning Windows into a Mac, you’ll have the sleek bottom dock for launching applications quickly. Basically, it’s like having a Mac without the fancy white case and expensive price tag.

How to Turn XP into a Mac

-Remove all unused shortcuts and icons. Right click the desktop and go to “Arrange desktop icons by” and uncheck “Show desktop icons”. You should now have a completely clean desktop. Don’t be afraid. You can still access the My Computer, My Documents, and Recycle Bin standbys from Windows Explorer.

-Install RKLauncher. RKLauncher (also called RKDock) is a free Windows version of the animated Mac taskbar, or “dock.” You can download it here. RKLauncher comes with a pretty cool theme. If you want to make your dock look exactly like a Mac though, tryRealDock for RKLaucher, a great clone of the Mac Dock appearance. RKLauncher’s official build hasn’t been updated lately, so if you would like something more up-to-date, grab a nightly build from Aqua-Soft. The farther down you go, the newer the build. Another good dock program is ObjectDock by Stardock, you can skin it to be anything you want and it does the animations and everything.

-Hide the taskbar. It doesn’t make sense to have both ObjectDock/RKDock and the Windows taskbar. Right click a blank space in ObjectDock, go to the settings tab, select behavior then on the box with check marks select “Hide the Windows Taskbar”, and hit OK. RKLauncher should work similarly. This makes the taskbar disappear. You can also just move the taskbar to the front of the screen.

-Add Widgets. Widgets are desktop toys to entertain and to inform. Think of them like things you’d put on a real desk: a picture frame, a newspaper to a dancing hula girl! But they’re on your PC desktop, not your real desk. You’ll get it once you see it. They could be a fun addition to your boring computer. Download free widgets from the Yahoo Widgets page. You’ll download a widget machine called Yahoo! Widget Engine, which comes with widgets like a picture frame, analog clock, calendar, and weather display. You can get more widgets like RSS news feeds and a dancing hula girl from the widgets gallery. Yahoo! has also released an engine that can help you make your own widgets and is availablehere

-Get Safari for Windows Just Get the new Safari 3 Beta, for Windows here, or getFirefox here. You can skin Firefox to look like Safari.

-Change your wallpaper to look like Mac OS X Tiger. Or you can get a high resolution wallpaper here which won’t make your computer mimic a mac desktop but will add a sense of style and a unique touch.

-Install your Expose from docs.kr. With this program (screen shot shows the ‘Windows Vista Flip’ move) you can set your Windows to spread out at the stroke of a key! A free download!

-Move your buttons. ShellWM is a “titlebar-only” shell replacer. It lets you have the maximize, minimize and close buttons on the left for free. You’ll want to download this theme.

-Change your mouse pointers. For the full effect, download a new set of mouse pointers. Save these to your computer (preferably in C:\WINDOWS\Cursors). It may be a good idea to make a folder within this for easier setup.) To setup these cursors, choose Mouse from the Control Panel, click the Pointers tab, and set your new pointers appropriately. For a the best OS pointer, use FLyakiteOS. If you don’t feel like changing cursors manually, you can install them all with a simple Mac OS X Mouse Cursors Installer

-Keep tweaking and playing. Try customizing all of the applications you downloaded. Whatever suits you!

Tips

-If RKLauncher doesn’t work well, an alternative to try are RocketDock. Rocketdock is updated more often, and has more themes to choose from.

You can also use the Mac OS X Install DVD

If you have a recent Mac OS X Install DVD (2005 and newer) that uses an x86 architecture, you can install OS X directly on your computer using InsanelyMac, which will circumvent the hardware detection used by the OS X install disc.

If you have an older Mac OS X Install DVD (2004 and older) that uses a PowerPC architecture, you can emulate PowerPC’s architecture using PearPC. PearPC is a tool which will allow you to run Mac OS X in an x86 environment, without putting in any effort. The emulation method is much slower than the method using InsanelyMac above.

Do not resort to using OS X unless you are aware of the legal action Apple can take if they know you are using that software.

-Since installing Mac OS X on a PC is illegal you could also try installing Linux (Ubuntu Linux is the most popular linux out there) on your PC. Since Linux is fully constumizable you can use this guide to make it look like OS X.

-For the simplest way, install this patch. It lets you access Windows XPs built in skinner. Then go to customize.org and download all the window’s themes you want. This is a great Mac OS X style theme.

-If you have enough money, an easier way would always be just to buy your own Mac, of course.

Warnings

-Widgets could make your computer run slowly.

Snow Leopard to get support for Multitouch and Location

Operating System wars are its prime these days with both Microsoft and Apple pushing out the pre-release versions of their latest operating systems. We have already seen most of the new things Windows 7 can do, which are very impressive in my opinion.

Though Apple is usually tight lipped about the details of the new features in the Snow Leopard, AppleInsider reports that testers who received the pre-release version of the operating system have discovered that the core APIs now feature some libraries where native to the iPhone SDK.

The first one of these is CoreLocation, which would triangulate the location of your system using the surrounding WiFi networks. This functionality was introduced with the iPhone which lacked true GPS. Instead it used to determine its location based on the signal from the BTS or the surrounding WiFi networks. Since there is no cellular signal reception capabilities in the Mac, it would need to rely on the existing hardware to achieve similar results.

The second set of APIs will allow Cocoa based applications to utilize the new multitouch capabilities of the latest MacBooks and MacBook Pros. The applications will probably receive the inputs through the new glass trackpads on the MacBooks because Macs do lack touch screens.

Support of multitouch in applications would be an interesting feature as Windows 7 also has some pretty good Multi Touch capabilities which can be accessed via compatible hardware. One can't help but doubt the involvement of Google in here too which recently unveiled Google Latitude, one of its first location based services. How developers would leverage these capabilities still remains to be seen, but since its a Mac, we can have high hopes.

There a lot of methods to take partial/full screenshots of a website but yet I have seen no one discuss this in detail even though it can be of great use.

Easy Methods To Take Full Website Screenshots

Today I will share with you all the tools and resources that you can use for free to take instant screenshots of a website and post them on your blog or anywhere you would like. Some of these tools take full website screenshots while others just take partial but all of them can come very handy at times.

Method # 1: Use The Common Print Screen Method

This is one of the most commonly used methods. In this method you just press "Print Screen" on your keyboard and the computer saves the screenshot to the memory. You can simply retrieve and paste this image by opening an image editor and pressing Ctrl-V combination. You can then save the screenshot for use on your blog or on a website.

Remember to go Fullscreen (F11) before pressing "Print Screen" in order to get good quality and full length screenshot.

Method # 2: Use Different Firefox Extensions

Page Saver is a very sexy firefox extension that lets you capture images of web pages. The thing I like about this extension is that you can take screenshot by just pressing a button on your firefox toolbar. It even gives you the option to either capture full length or scaled down images of web pages.

ScreenGrab is another similar and easy to use Firefox extension that grabs images of web pages.

Method # 3: Use Pagebull The Visual Search Engine

Pagebull is a visual search engine that displays results in form of image thumbnails. To be honest I don't think there is any such use of other search engines as long as Google is in the spotlight but we can do a lot more using Pagebull than just search.

Type in the url of the web page of which you want to capture an image. Pagebull will generate a visual screenshot of that web page on the fly. Just hover over the "magnifying glass" icon near the bottom left of the image thumbnail and you will get a large web page screenshot of the url you requested. This is one of the best methods of taking a screenshot that I have discovered myself.

Method # 4: Use The WebShot Software

WebShot is a free and amazing utility allows you to take screenshots of web pages and save them as full sized images or thumbnails. Screenshots images can be output in the JPG, GIF, PNG, or BMP formats. The very best thing about this application is that it allows to take screenshots of multiple web pages at once.

Method # 5: Use The Double Conversion Method

This is a rather difficult and time-consuming method targeted for those users who can not use the alternative methods mentioned above. The theory behind this method is to save the web page and convert it to PDF and then use the PDF and convert it to Image. This method is one of my own inventions too (Ok! Ok! I know its crap but still it works lol)

Kaspersky official website gets Hacked

In a recent event that took place yesterday, the official support website of Kaspersky for U.S. got hacked by a hacker who identified himself as Unu.

The news might have not been of much concern if the company in question had no direct relation to security factors but the fact that Kaspersky Labs itself is known to be a high-profile security solutions and products vendor makes this story even more interesting.

As reported, the hacker got access to the database through a SQL injection attack and may have been able to grab some information about users and their contacts. However, an official statement from Kaspersky Labs assures that no data of any sort has been leaked.

The hacker, who officially publicized the hack on Hackersblog, informs that he only planned to hack the website after he got no response from the Kaspersky Labs team to whom he reported about the vulnerability through email.

It is believed that the vulnerability might have slipped in accidently while the company's official support site was being redesigned which went live almost 10 days ago.

Kaspersky has fully acknowledged the issue and promises to take better security measures to make sure that suck an incident doesn't happen again.

Apple iPhone 32GB and Home-Activation Rumors

Apple rumors and gossip never fail to entertain us and according to one of the latest rumors, Apple might be planning to roll out a new version of the iPhone i.e. Apple iPhone 32GB along with a contract free, home activation option.

This takes us back to history where Apple ditched the iPhone 4GB model just to introduce the new 16GB one and considering that the iPhone 8GB is just getting too saturated and dry in the market, Apple may really be planning to roll out these new changes.

As for bringing back the home-activation option, Apple insider believes that the reason Apple is considering to bring back this feature is because of the iPhone 3G sales being slowed down as a result of the Apple In-Store activation which requires a lot of time.

The home-activation feature basically allows an iPhone user to activate his/her contract through iTunes without need of any authentication at the Apple Store. This was a fast process compared to the current In-Store activation method but was discontinued by Apple for some reasons.

The other option that most users are looking forward to is the ability to purchase unlocked and contract-free iPhone models to be used with carriers and in countries where the iPhone is not yet officially available.

iPhone nano makes more rumors

Almost a week ago we published a report on the iPhone-mini and claimed that Apple would not consider building such a device. But as the recent rumors suggest, we might have made a big mistake in predicting Apple's decisions.

A newspaper (with close sources to Apple) recently reported that a chip manufacturing company in Taiwan would soon be developing a new low-cost touchscreen handset in coordination with Apple to which it refers to as the iPhone nano.

Little is known about the device yet but for as far as we know, it is to be made available on the Worldwide Developers Conference this June.

Interestingly, Apple has used the same platform to release updates related to the iPhone so there is a good chance we might be seeing a new device on the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference by Apple.

The fact that we have already witnessed a lot of fake iPhone-nano models and cases (that too in Thailand) adds more to the spice of the rumor.

If Apple does release an iPhone nano in near future, there is no doubt that new-generation smartphones such as Palm Pre and Nokia N97 will face a major threat in market shares.

Apple has released a minor update to the iPhone 2.2 firmware which can now be downloaded via iTunes.

The iPhone 2.2.1 firmware brings about a lot of new bug fixes and performance improvements although no significant new features are there to be taken any note of.

It was rumored that iPhone 2.2.1 would introduce a new push notifications and notes sync feature but as the real thing is out now, we don't need to count on rumors anymore.

Also it is said that Apple may be planning on introducing a Bluetooth filesharing feature in upcoming versions of the iPhone firmware, however no sources have confirmations on this.

Gmail Tasks bring To-Do lists to Android and iPhone

In case you missed it before, Gmail recently added the Tasks feature to its Labs. You could create simple to-do lists, and organize them into groups. The best part was that since they were based in your Gmail, you could use them from any Internet connected PC.

Google have elevated this one step further and added the Gmail Mobile Tasks to its roaster of mobile services. Now you can simply go to gmail.com/task on your Android or iPhone browser and get your to-do lists on your mobile.

This means that you don't have to rely on the native organizer apps on you devices anymore as you have all your email and lists in one place, which you can seamlessly access from both your PC and your phone. Any changes you make on one side would update on the other as well.
The fully functional browser application is only available for the Android and the mobile Safari on the iPhone. Because these browsers use the Webkit rendering engine, you can expect that it will also be functional on the upcoming Palm Pre, and the Nokia N97 as they also claim to have powerful webkit browsers.

In the mean time, if you have any other device, you can still use the XHTML version (with reduced features) on your device if your browser is capable of rendering XHTML.
