RIM hasn’t shown off its 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook tablet yet at CES but they’ve fired off some promo videos. One showing off web browsing on the tablet “the way it was meant to be seen” or just viewing content inline, if you will.

We get to see some inline Flash action via a YouTube video and a flash game on Facebook, together with browsing some sites on desktop versions. Basically, they are trying to say you can browse the web just like you do on your desktop PC, with ‘no compromises’ without having to resort to apps and without any slow downs. That won’t stop developers from making apps of their websites, and in a lot of cases such apps are more optimized for the touch experience.

Boot from USB flash drive - Netbook tools

It is such a pain when your Netbook OS wont start. well there is a solution where
you can boot from the USB Disk and access your netbook local drive to do repairs and backups. i have found this tutorial the works. and have tested it.
you can find more on how to boot from USB flash drive here

The guide is step by step. you can make a bootable flash disk for emergency use for your netbook. you will need at least 500mb or more USB storage.

Making a bootable usb pen drive is very usefull for netbooks first aid. as we all knew that netbooks dont a a cd-rom drive. unless you are always carrying an external USB cd-rom. :)

Google chrome on netbook

Hello everyone. this is the first time i have run and test google chrome on my Netbook.
and i wanted to share a review of it here on my blog. Its 9:00 am as i have installed it
on my net book. and the installation is fast. once done installed. chrome will ask for
importing settings from my firefox, just select No. so that Google Chrome will have
its own settings. when the browser starts it loads faster than firefox. and when i visited the
first website i surfed. which is facebook. (i know everybody is going crazy on this FB thing :).. )
well the site loads faster than in my Firefox browser. and the page screen is a lot bigger than
the firefox default screen and this is a good idea to use, since netbooks screens are limited and small. so i suggest this is a must have for Netbooks..

Running linux on usb for HP mini

You can boot from a USB flash drive in your HP mini and run linux. the process is very easy
all you need to do is download Ubuntu remix. its a linux optimize for netbooks.
and HP Mini will run it with no problems at all. and all drivers is installed. even in test mode.

After few days of testing the safari on my netbook.
over-all it is a good browser for your netbook.
safari displays good graphics in your browser. and text
has smooth edges.. so this is a must have. the only downside is that
it loads a little slow compare to firefox.
and if you are a speed freak for your netbook. dont bother installing
safari browser on your net book..

space. all you have to do is install the add-on.
it will Replace the standard menu bar with a tiny menu popup.

Fennec browser on netbooks

I have successfully installed Fennec on my netbook.
its a good application/webbrowser.
however that is if there is a touchscreen netbook.
the way you will surf the internet using fennec
is just like using an iPhone/iPodtouch
so using the standard mouse/touchpad
would be just not a good idea for the Fennec browser.
Lets just hope they will bring us new generation netbooks

Fennec the Mozilla browser for netbooks in the future?

Fennec is the new browser developed by Mozilla, its for nokia N810 and tablets pc
now they are releasing a BETA version for desktop that can run on Windows, Mac OS and Linux
the main idea for this release for those people who dont have the device intended to run this software so that they can test it.

As we know, computers are getting smaller and smaller. now the release of netbooks is a big storm in the market today, many big company's are now embracing the netbooks and making their own Netbook Computers. and with each netbook models and brand there are downside of each.
but certainly there is a netbook that will suit each individual. as i got my hands on my first nebook. and i soo love it. its very mobile and handy. and my love of netbooks got me here to create this blog. :) ..anyway i just want to share my netbook journey. and i will post anything good and bad that you can do to your netbook. :)
