Pencil Portrait of Celebrity & Common People

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 10 Sep 2009 19:35:00 +0000

Dear Readers,

Recently, I started back on my old childhood hobby - drawing portrait. First time I started drawing portraits was when I was in high school (about 15 years ago...!). One day, an art teacher taught us all about how to draw portraits of people. It was just a brief explanation, but since then I got very drawn into portraits. I started to draw celebrity portraits and it became my pastime hobby. When you draw, it's as if you can see that they grew alive right in front of your eyes. And when you finished a portrait that looked similar to the real person, you will feel a sense of satisfaction like no other...

Below is several celebrity portraits which I had drawn when I was about 13-15 years old. I was only able to find these few portraits after rummaging through my old stuffs. The portraits looked old and a little bit blurry but it's still held many nostalgic memories for me in my childhood days...I want to share those memories with you too...

This is Keanu Reeves ...

...and this is Brad Pitt...:-)

If you're interested to see more of my drawings, come visit my blog - http://myportraitgallery.blogspot.com/ (English Version) or http://galeripotretku.blogspot.com/ (Malay Version).

I appreciate it if you could leave some comment on these blog..:-)

The death of singer, Michael Jackson

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 26 Jun 2009 07:18:00 +0000

Dear all,

Today, when I browse the Internet, I happened to encounter a news that quite shocked me a little bit. The tag line of the news said, "Singer Michael Jackson, died at 50". At first I thought maybe this was one of those pranks made by people who don't like him very much. But after I read the article and also a few more articles about the death of MJ, I began to believe that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has finally laid to rest.

I was an ardent fan of this celebrity ever since I was a child, and a lot of his songs really captured my heart. Despite of all the controversies/scandals that struck him in the past years, I believe that his death will be a great loss for the music world and that many of his fans will missed the pop icon.

Read an excerpt about Michael Jackson's death below:

"Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.

The circumstances of Jackson’s death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the hospital, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album “Thriller” — which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” — is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were “I Want You Back,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

Taylor Swift - Our Song

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 05 Jun 2009 06:52:00 +0000

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart
I look around, turn the radio down
He says baby is something wrong?
I say nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song
And he says...

[Chorus:]

Our song is the slamming screen door,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again

I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day
Had gone all wrong and been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said...

[Repeat Chorus]

I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song...

Cause our song is the slamming screen door
Sneaking out late, tapping on his window
When we're on the phone and he talks real slow
Cause it's late and his mama don't know
Our song is the way he laughs
The first date "man, I didn't kiss him, and I should have"
And when I got home, before I said amen
Asking God if He could play it again

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I... wrote down our song

Read This - Tips to Save Yourself!

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Fri, 05 Jun 2009 06:11:00 +0000

An interesting e-mail/articles received from a friend.............
A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts :

1) The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun, braid or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed . They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair . Women with short hair are not common targets.

2) The second thing men look for is clothing .. They will look for women who's clothing is easy to remove quickly . Many of them carry scissors around specifically to cut clothing.

3) They also look for women on their cell phone , searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered.

4) Men are most likely to attack & rape in the early morning, between 5: 00a.m. and 8:30a.m.

5) The number one place women are abducted from/attacked is grocery store parking lots . Number two is office parking lots/garages Number three is public restrooms

6) The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to another location where they don't have to worry about getting caught.

7) Only 2% said they carried weapons because rape carries a 3-5 year sentence but rape with a weapon is 15-20 years.

8) If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn't worth it because it will be time-consuming ..

9) These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas, or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands. Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you're not worth it.

10) Several defense mechanisms he taught us are: If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: "I can't believe it is so cold out here", "we're in for a bad winter." Now you've seen their face and could identify them in a line-up; you lose appeal as a target.

11) If someone is coming toward you , hold out your hands in front of you and yell STOP or STAY BACK ! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they'd leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY target.

12) If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yell I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.

13) If someone grabs you , you can't beat them with Strength but you can by outsmarting them . If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm (between the elbow and armpit) OR in the upper inner thigh VERY VERY HARD . One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands - the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it hurts.

14) After the initial hit, always GO for the GROIN. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy's parts it is extremely painful You might think that you'll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble and he's out of there.

15) When the guy puts his hands up to you , grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible!. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked audibly.

16) Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings , take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don't dismiss it, go with your instincts!!!

You may feel a little silly at the time, but you'd feel Much worse if the guy really was trouble.

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do!

2.Learned this from a tourist guide in New Orleans . If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM .. Toss it away from you....chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you, and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!

3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy.. The driver won't see you, but everybody else will. This has saved lives.

4.Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS!) The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.

a. If someone is in the car with a gun to your head DO NOT DRIVE OFF, repeat: DO NOT DRIVE OFF! Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person is in the back seat they will get the worst of it. As soon as the car crashes bail out and run. It is better than having them find your body in a remote location.

5. A few! notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:

A.) Be aware: look around you, look into your car, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat.

B.) If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car From the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.

C.) Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a uard/policeman to walk you back out.

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead..)

6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot. This is especially true at NIGHT!)

7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, LWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ.. RUN, preferably in a zig-zag pattern!

8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP. It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women.. H e walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

************* Here it is *******

9. Another Safety Point: Someone just told me that her friend heard a crying baby on her porch the night before last, and she called the police because it was late and she thought it was weird.
The police told her "Whatever you do, DO NOT open the door."

The lady then said that it sounded like the baby had crawled near a window, and she was worried that it would crawl to the street and get run over.. The policeman said, "We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do, DO NOT open the door." He told her that they think a serial killer has a baby's cry recorded and uses it to coax women out of their homes thinking that someone dropped off a baby. He said they have not verified it! , but have had several calls by women saying that they hear baby's cries outside their doors when they're home alone at night.

Please pass this on and DO NOT open the door for a crying baby ----This e-mail should probably be taken seriously because the Crying Baby theory was mentioned on America's Most Wanted this past Saturday when they profiled the serial killer in Louisiana.

5 Tips to Achieve High Metabolism for Weight Loss

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 04 Jun 2009 16:07:00 +0000

Most people do not realize that metabolism plays a crucial part in managing weight loss. In fact, our metabolism is one of the important factors in determining how difficult or easy for us to lose weight. In simple term, metabolism refers to the rate at which the body burns calories or uses energy. It is a complex biochemical process that takes place in the body. Everyday, we will burn off calories whether we are eating, sitting down, or even sleeping. The higher the metabolism rate, the more calories we will shed off and hence the faster we will lose weight.

A person with a high metabolism will burn off more calories than someone with a low metabolism. Overweight people tend to have slower metabolic rate due to their fat cells that consumes energy. One more important thing that we have to keep in mind is that people who have more muscle than body fat will achieve a higher metabolism. This is because muscle alone is capable of burning off calories more efficiently than fat. This is how you can lose extra weight. So the key to lose weight is to really build more muscle mass to achieve higher metabolism.

A high metabolic rate can burn more calories, even when doing the simplest activity such as cleaning the house or washing the dishes. To achieve this, there are a few effective tips which can be put into practice to attain a higher metabolism in order to lose weight and they are as follows:

1.Exercise

Exercising is a major part in achieving a high metabolism. Aerobic exercise is a cardiovascular activity which will increase the metabolism temporarily. Whereas resistance training such as weight lifting will build more lean muscle and speeds up metabolism for hours and hours even after the workout. The more muscle mass your body have, the more calories it will be burning. A combination of both exercises is needed to gain more muscle and less fat, and the outcome would be a higher metabolic rate for your body. A word of advice, before beginning both of the exercises, one should start off with resistance training first and then followed by an aerobic exercise.

2.Avoid starving the body

Most people seem to think that if they don’t eat, they will lose weight quickly. This is an incorrect perception. On the contrary, if you don’t eat anything or deprive yourself of adequate consumption of food, your body might think that you are starving yourself. This means that the body will conserve more energy to prepare for this starvation mode. In simple word, depriving your body of food will encourage it to “save” more calories rather than to “burn” it. The end result is your metabolism will become much slower. Eat moderately and with a balance diet. You will notice positive results more quickly.

3.Don’t’ forget to eat breakfast

Breakfast is the most necessary meal of the day. You won’t increase your metabolic rate if you skip this meal. Rather it will just slow it down. Eating a well balanced breakfast will boost your metabolism and keeps you energetic for the whole day. You don’t have to eat heavy meal during breakfast, a simple meal that consists of oatmeal, a banana and a glass of milk would be sufficient. The secret to eating in order to lose weight is to eat up to 5-6 meals a day but within smaller portion.

4.Drink plenty of water

Drinking a lot of plain water is beneficial to your health. It can also speeds up weight loss. A sufficient amount of water will greatly assist the effectiveness of metabolism in burning fat. This is because the energy burning process of metabolism needs adequate and plenty of water to function properly. Furthermore, research has proven that drinking 8 glasses or more water each day is essential for the well being of your health and can additionally boosts the metabolism process.

5. A good night sleep is essential

You’ll be surprise to know that even when we are sleeping, our metabolism is also working. This is because our body is using up energy to perform other functions of the body while it sleeps such as breathing and making the heart beat. Research has shown that the body will burn around 60 calories per hour while it sleeps. Therefore, always remind yourself that not getting enough sleep will only slow down the metabolism. What’s more, if we are accustomed to sleeping late, we may feel hungry at the middle of the night, and this would eventually lead to late night eating. Hence, this habit will surely add in extra fat to the body. Not to mention that being sleep deprived would only make the body feel tired and unproductive. Experts have suggested that a normal person would require about 7-8 hours of sleeping in order to stay healthy and energized for the next day activities.

Remember that one of the key factors to achieving rapid weight loss is to boost the metabolism. A high metabolism will quickly burn off more fat calories and weight loss would be much faster. By combining all of the five tips stated above and a little bit of patience along with self-discipline, one will surely be successful in losing weight and attaining the perfect and ideal body they have always dreamed of.

Your Free Website TRaffic - FreeViral.com

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 03 Jun 2009 16:24:00 +0000

>

Click Here for your Free Traffic!

So how does this system work?

Our system is similar to others you may have seen on the Internet with one major difference... our system guarantees traffic to your website! The concept is simple; at the bottom of this page you will notice 6 classified ads.

When you sign up, you will receive a website just like this one with your classified ad in the #1 position! The ad that was in the #1 position will move down to the #2 position, the 2nd ad to the #3 position, and so on with the last classified ad being taken off of the page.

When someone signs up from your website, their classified ad will be placed in the #1 spot with your ad moving to the #2 spot, the 2nd ad moving down to the #3 spot and so on. By the time your classified ad reaches the #6 spot, you will have noticed an amazing amount of FREE traffic!

Okay, if you're new to downline systems, the above explanation may be a bit confusing. Here's a simpler one....

First Phase: Webmasters signup on your level 1

Next Phase: Your "Level 1 Webmasters" promote their FreeViral pages

Next Phase: Your "Level 1 Webmasters" build their downline (and yours!)

Matured Phase: You have a HUGE dowline (which never stops growing!)

So how does my ad spread virally?

Webmasters who signup on your Level 1 will put their ad in the #1 ad position, and yours will get bumped to the #2 spot. Important: Your ad stays there! Your ad will always be in the #2 position on the FreeViral pages of your Level 1 webmasters.

Of course, your Level 1 webmasters will promote their FreeViral pages. As a result, webmasters will signup below them. When that happens, your Level 2 downline is being formed. Your ad will be in the #3 postion. Important: Your ad stays there! Your ad will always be in the #3 position on the FreeViral pages of your Level 2 webmasters.

As your downline grows 5 levels deep, your ad will be present on every FreeViral page, or every webmaster in your downline!

And once your downline matures, you will notice an amazing amount of FREE traffic!

How do I get guaranteed traffic?

When someone signs up from your site, they must first click on your classified ad which will open a new window leading to your main website. They will have to wait a few seconds for the code to appear on a separate frame at the top of the screen.

While they wait, they will have time to read what you have to offer! This can equate to more sales, downline members, affiliate sign-ups, ezine subscribers, etc.! Each classified ad will have to be clicked on to retrieve a unique code meaning that you will receive FREE Traffic throughout all 6 levels!!!

Sounds great! But is there a catch?

Yes, there is a catch. (a teeny-tiny one) The "cost" for using the free traffic system is that you will receive one email message each week. That's it. You don't pay any money for using the system. You'll receive either a member newsletter, or a review of a business product, or a sponsor ad. But no more than one email each week, we promise. What you do with that email message is up to you. You can read it, or delete it without reading it. (or even set your mail filter so you don't even see the message) The good news is that you won't pay a penny for using FreeViral. It's all free!

How much FREE traffic can I expect?

Lets be extremely conservative and assume that your page and everybody else's pages only get 10 sign-ups:

CONSERATIVE EXAMPLE
10 people sign up from you: 1 x 10 = Your ad on 10 new sites
10 people sign up from each of them: 10 x 10 = Your ad on 100 new sites
10 people sign up from each of them: 10 x 100 = Your ad on 1,000 new sites
10 people sign up from each of them: 10 x 1,000 = Your ad on 10,000 new sites
10 people sign up from each of them: 10 x 10,000 = Your ad on 100,000 new sites
10 people sign up from each of them: 10 x 100,000 = Your ad on 1,000,000 new sites

Total: 10+100+1,000+10,000+100,000+1,000,000
= 1,111,110 WEBSITES DISPLAYING YOUR AD!

This system works amazingly well on the Internet. There is nothing to slow it down. You can setup your viral webpage today and have 5 or 10 sign-ups within a few days! With it being so easy to join you could literally have over 50,000 sites displaying your ad within a short time!

A Review about A.W. Survey.com

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Tue, 02 Jun 2009 03:55:00 +0000

I want to share with you my experience with a survey site that claims to pay money to anyone who would complete their survey. I’d found out about this site while browsing through a website of some guy that claims he had received many payments from awsurvey after completing the surveys. So, I decided to try out my luck in this money making website.

The registration process was pretty simple and I was offered several survey sites which I can participated instantly. The survey sites were actually a simple evaluation on some certain websites and the pay was $4 for each completed survey. The survey would take around 4-5 minutes to complete, as stated by the instruction. Plus, there is also a bonus cash prize worth $500 to be won each month! And we could also refer a friend where we will be paid $1.25 per friend. How cool is that? Back then, I was thinking that there was so much benefit I could gain from this site.

So I started to try out several surveys, four of them actually. And I saw my account total grew from $4 to $16. I forgot to tell you that the payout for awsurvey is $75. Then when I try to complete my 5th survey, the link to the survey website couldn’t be opened. Day after day I tried to open the same website, but it still cannot be opened. I thought maybe I would be offered other surveys, but since I registered in February until now, the same cannot-be-opened-website survey was still available for me. That means that I won’t receive another survey until I’ve completed the ones I have now. Bummer!

I was really annoyed with awsurvey. I had wasted valuable time to complete their survey just to have my $16 stuck with them and I couldn’t redeem my money unless I have made $75. But how can I achieve that amount when I wasn’t given any other websites to do surveys.

Later on, I found out that this site really does pay to a minority of their member. But a MAJORITY of them still couldn’t redeem their $75 and was provided with ridiculous excuses by awsurvey’s admin about why they couldn’t receive their payment. I think I am quite lucky for having to complete only 4 surveys in that website. So that’s why I’m labeling this website a SCAM site. Please don’t get cheated like me, try to do some research on your own about any money making website before decided to participate in one.

Write a review at ReviewStream.com and earn money!

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Wed, 27 May 2009 15:11:00 +0000

This is one more website where you can earn money by writing reviews. You can write a review about anything, anyone or any place. There are no boundaries. However, every review has to be at least 200 words and you don’t have to be a professional writer to submit your reviews in ReviewStream.com.

The most important thing, however is to write an original and honest opinion about the topic being reviewed. For example, if you want to write a review about a certain product, don’t write a detail description of the product; on the other hand write about your own EXPERIENCE using the product. It can be a bad or a good review. It’s all up to you. You can write just about anything such as computers, books, movies, medicines, hotels, traveling or anything else. Check out these two reviews that had been accepted by the ReviewStream’s team – “Metformin To Lose Weight” and “Gymnema Herbal Tea.”

If your review is accepted, you will be paid at a regular rate of $2 per review or at a bulk rate of $0.40 per review. Either way, you will definitely get pay if your review is accepted. The more reviews you write, the more money you will earn. Next, you can request for a payment via paypal when your account reaches a minimum payout of $50. Actually, this amount is not that hard to achieve if you can write up to 5/6 reviews per day. One shortfall about this website though, is that it will take around 72 hours for you to know whether your review is accepted or rejected. But for all it’s worth, this website is definitely not a scam. It’s a legitimate online company that pays individuals for their review. Many people have been paid by ReviewStream.com. If you are interested in writing your first review, click this link, ReviewStream.com to get started. Good luck!

Metformin for PCOs

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 25 May 2009 16:33:00 +0000

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCO) is a condition that makes it hard for some individuals to get pregnant. PCO is more associated to an obese or overweight woman than to thin women. It is said that this syndrome occurred due to hormone imbalance in the body.

If you have this disease, your doctor may prescribe a medicine called Metformin (Glucophage – brand name). Basically, metformin is used to alleviate the symptoms of PCOs in some women. Metformin is a drug which is used to control the blood sugar/glucose level and usually it is given to individuals suffering from Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Extensive research has revealed that metformin work by decreasing absorption of dietary carbohydrates through the intestines, reducing the production of glucose by the liver and increases the sensitivity of muscle cells to insulin. Thus, metformin (taken together with other medicine like Saw Palmetto Extract - SPE) can also help to promote weight loss for obese females diagnosed with the symptoms of PCO.

To sum it all, the basic function of metformin is to lower the insulin level, testosterone level and also the glucose level. But before taking this drug prescription, be sure to get some advice from your doctor about its benefit and also its side effect. If you want to know more about metformin, read about it in this review. Good luck!

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Mon, 25 May 2009 11:52:00 +0000

Are you a diabetic? Are you struggling to lose weight? Do you feel it’s harder for you to lose weight because you’re suffering from PCO (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) symptoms? Well, if you fit the description above, you may find this article very useful.

Not many of us realized that there is actually an alternative way to treat patients with diabetes or to assist in losing weight. Gymnema or Gymnema sylvestre is a vine-like plant which is mostly associated with Ayurvedic medicine. Gymnema has been widely used in India to treat the disease of diabetes mellitus. It is also said that the herb can help to control the level of blood sugar, thus making it easier to lose weight.

You may be wondering about how this herbal medicine works. Well, it works by suppressing the taste of sugary or sweet food taken in the oral cavity, thus reducing the metabolic effects of sugar and making it easier to control the blood sugar level. Today, Gymnema sylvestre can be taken in various forms and one of them is Gymnema Herbal Tea. This herbal tea should be taken one to two hours before eating in order for it to curb the sugary taste and work efficiently. Aside from the tea, there is also a Gymnema-capsule product available in selected pharmacies.

Not only it is useful as an alternative supplement for diabetic patients, moreover this herb can also be integrated into any weight-loss plan to make it easier to lose extra weight. If you are overweight (and plans to lose some weight), well this herbal medicine is definitely for you. Various studies have proven that controlling and lowering the blood sugar level in the body can greatly affect weight loss.

Love Story - Taylor Swift

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sun, 24 May 2009 16:57:00 +0000

We were both young, when I first saw you
I close my eyes and the flashback starts
I’m standing there, on a balcony of summer air

I see the lights, see the party, the ball gowns
I see you make your way through the crowd
You say hello, little did I know…

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said “stay away from Juliet”
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don’t go…
And I said…

Romeo take me somewhere, we can be alone
I’ll be waiting, all there’s left to do is run
You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess,
It’s a love story, baby, just say yes

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet, because we’re dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while
Oh, Ohhh

Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter,
And my daddy said “stay away from Juliet”
But you were everything to me
I was begging you, please don’t go…
And I said

Romeo take me somewhere, we can be alone
I’ll be waiting, all there’s left to do is run
You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess
It’s a love story, baby, just say yes

Romeo save me, they’re trying to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it’s real
Don’t be afraid, we’ll make it out of this mess
It’s a love story, baby, just say yes
Oh, Ohhh…

I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you was fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town
And I said

Romeo save me, I’ve been feeling so alone
I keep waiting, for you but you never come
Is this in my head, I don’t know what to think
He kneels to the ground and pulled out a ring and said

Marry me Juliet, you’ll never have to be alone
I love you, and that’s all I really know
I talked to your dad-you’ll pick the white dress
It’s a love story, baby just say…yes…
Oh, Ohhh… Oh, Oh, Ohhh…
We were both young when I first saw you.

No Boundries - Kris Allen

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sun, 24 May 2009 16:35:00 +0000

Hi guys,

This is a new song from Kris Allen, sang on the finale of American Idol Season 8. This song is also a beautiful song. Enjoy....

NO BOUNDRIES

Seconds hours so many days
You know what you want but how long can you wait
Every moment last forever if you feel you’ve lost your way
What if your chances are already gone
Started believing that I could be wrong
But you give me one good reason
to fight and never walk away

Coz hear I am - still holding on!

Every step you climb another mountain
Every breathe its harder to believe

You’ll make it through the pain (or through all your aches and pains)
Weather the hurricane
To get to that one thing

When you think the road is going nowhere
Just when you’ve almost gave up on your dreams
Then take it by the hand and show you that you can

You can go higher
You can go deeper
There are no boundaries
Above and beneath you
B-reak every rule coz there’s nothing between you
and your dreams

Every step you climb another mountain
Every breathe its harder to believe

Heartless - Kris Allen

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Sun, 24 May 2009 15:40:00 +0000

Hi guys,

This is the lyric of 'Heartless', not the one sang by its original singer, Kanye West, but the second version sang by the new American Idol 8th Season's winner, Kris Allen. I simply loves his rendition and arrangement of the song and the lyric itself is beautiful. Enjoy the lyric!

Heartless

[Chorus]
In the night, I hear ‘em talk,
the coldest story ever told
Somewhere far along this road, he lost his soul to a woman so heartless…
How could you be so heartless?
Oh… How could you be so heartless?

[Verse 1]
How could you be so, cold as the winter wind when it breeze, yo
Just remember that you talkin’ to me though
You need to watch the way you talkin’ to me, yo
I mean after all the things that we’ve been through
I mean after all the things we got into
Hey yo, I know of some things that you ain’t told me
Hey yo, I did some things but that’s the old me
And now you wanna get me back and you gon’ show me
So you walk around like you don’t know me
You got a new friend, while I got homies
But in the end it’s still so lonely

[Chorus]
In the night, I hear ‘em talk,
the coldest story ever told
Somewhere far along this road, he lost his soul to a woman so heartless…
How could you be so heartless?
Oh… How could you be so heartless?

[Verse 2]
How could you be so Dr. Evil, you bringin’ out a side of me that I dont know…
I decided we weren’t gon’ speak so
Why we up 3 A.M. on the phone
Why does she be so mad at me fo’
Homie I dont know, she’s hot and cold
I won’t stop, won’t mess my groove up
‘Cause I already know how this thing go
You run and tell your friends that you’re leaving me
They say that they don’t see what you see in me
You wait a couple months then you gon’ see
You’ll never find nobody better than me

[Chorus]
In the night, I hear ‘em talk,
the coldest story ever told
Somewhere far along this road, he lost his soul to a woman so heartless…
How could you be so heartless?
Oh… How could you be so heartless?

[Verse 3]
Talkin’, talkin’, talkin’, talk
Baby let’s just knock it off
They don’t know what we been through
They don’t know ’bout me and you
So I got something new to see
And you just gon’ keep hatin’ me
And we just gon’ be enemies
I know you can’t believe
I could just leave it wrong
And you can’t make it right
I’m gon’ take off tonight
Into the night….

[Chorus]
In the night, I hear ‘em talk,
the coldest story ever told
Somewhere far along this road, he lost his soul to a woman so heartless…
How could you be so heartless?
Oh… How could you be so heartless?

American Idol 8th winner: KRIS ALLEN!

noreply@blogger.com (Anonymous) — Thu, 21 May 2009 14:52:00 +0000

Congratulations to Kris Allen, on emerging as the winner of American Idol’s 8th season title! I had anticipated this duel competition from the start of the very show. Plus, American Idol IS my favorite reality TV show, and I hadn’t and couldn’t missed an episode.

To summarize, the 2 contestants that was voted to go head-to-head in the finale competition was Kris Allen and Adam Lambert (although, personally I preferred Kris Allen vs. Danny Gokey). Each with his own special trait; Kris Allen with his smooth voice and unique style of singing, while Adam with his loud and commanding vocal range, each has its abundant and die-hard fans.

“No Boundaries” was a new song each finalist had to sing and in my opinion, I’d prefer the rendition sung by Kris Allen. No surprise in that one, because after all, I am a Kris Allen’s fan. What I like most about Kris Allen is the innocent boy-next-door look and his ability to turn an already popular song to a whole new arrangement that outshine the original song. This is what I admire most about this 23-year old guy.

But all in all, both singers are very talented indeed. Even though Adam Lambert lost in this competition, but I’m certain he has establish himself a name in the music world by joining American Idol! And especially to Kris, keep up the good work and may you be successful in the music business. Can’t wait to hear his first debut song!
