Amanda had created an apple cider milkshake, it was so simple and easy and according to her simply delish!  We made some of this last night to share with the in laws and everybody just loved them.  I highly recommend giving them a try this fall; it is a great tasting shake and another great way to enjoy the taste of apples.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6 – Large Scoops Vanilla Ice-Cream&lt;br /&gt;1 ¼ C. Simply Apple Juice&lt;br /&gt;½ Tbs. I go at least 3 times a year for their seasonal shakes and sweet potato fries, OMG they are to die for.  Anyways I digress, for the fall season they are doing apple dishes and they had this fabulous light and fluffy bacon-apple cheese scone.  We loved it so much we just had to do our best to make our own version of it, they turned out simply delish..... I will give credit where it is due because even though ours turned out great Burgerville USA still has the best in town. Box&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Fisher Fair Scone Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;¾ C.&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Water&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 C.&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Shredded Cheddar Cheese (fine shred)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 – 13 oz. Jar&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Apple Cinnamon Jelly (Cost Plus World Market)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;6 Slices&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Bacon (diced &amp; cooked but not crisp)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½ Stick&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Melted Butter&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;¼ C.&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Cinnamon Sugar Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a bowl combine the scone mix, water, cheese, bacon and jelly.  Stir with a fork until well mixed.  Place parchment paper onto baking sheets and using an ice-cream scoop place the batter onto the baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Top with the melted butter and bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes, take the pan out of the oven and apply little more butter on each scone and sprinkle each with some of the cinnamon sugar mixture and finish baking for another 5 minutes. The very next day to my surprise I received an e-mail from Shavonne Conner (from Johnny’s) telling me that she did look at my site and loved what she saw and of course thanks so very much for taking the time to pass along how much I loved their products.  About 3 days later I came home to find a package waiting for me from Johnny's Fine Foods, I was so overly excited and very surprised. I opened the package to find an actual hand written letter from Shavonne telling me and I quote (MaryBeth:  Please enjoy the enclosed free sample from the president of our company. He also enjoyed your blog.  Thanks again for your loyalty.  Shavonne Conner.)  I was so very surprised that just because I sent a simple e-mail telling them how much I loved their products that they felt compelled to send me a box of free gifts.  Inside this wonderful box I had: 1 bottle French Dip Concentrate - 8oz , 1 bottle French Onion Concentrate - 8oz , 1 bottle Jamaica Me Crazy Seasoned Pepper - 2.25oz , 1 bottle Salmon Seasoning - 8.5oz  and 6 bottles of my absolute favorite thing in the World Great Caesar Garlic Spread &amp; Seasoning - 5oz .  We have already used both jugs of French dip on some great roast beef sammies, wow was it wonderfully good. Beaverton weather this week will be in the low to mid 70's and sunny.  About a month ago my mother in law processed all by herself 22 pounds of fresh peaches, she peeled, sliced and froze some beautiful local peaches, oh did I mention that she also went and picked them herself too.  My father in law has been after me ever since to make him the Rhubarb Pineapple Upside – Down Cake using the peaches, so of course being the good daughter in law that I am I made him the cake on Sunday.  OMG...he had a fabulous idea when he made this suggestion because it turned out wonderful, it was so fresh and had fabulous peach flavor.  Eating this cake and having this weather really makes it seem like summer is still with us, at least for the next week anyways.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - (20 oz.) Can&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Pineapple, drained and save the juice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Sliced Fresh Peaches&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½ C.&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - White Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½ C.&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Brown Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - (3 oz.)&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Peach Jell-o Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 C.&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Mini Marshmallows&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - (18.25 oz.)&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt; - Butter Cake Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a medium bowl, mix together the pineapple, peaches, white sugar, brown sugar, jell-o and marshmallows.  Pour into the bottom of a sprayed 13x9 cake pan. In another bowl make the cake according to the directions but replace the water with the reserved pineapple juice, when mixed spread evenly over the peach mixture.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 min to an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.  You can either turn the warm cake out onto a serving platter or do as I did and just cut a piece out and invert it onto a dessert plate. I love this time of the year because for me it is the start of my pumpkin eating frenzy.  I really wanted some pumpkin cookies for my first item of the season; I used to be able to buy some at the local Safeway store that I simply loved.  I was totally devastated when they stopped selling them and I had to try and make them myself.  The recipe I threw together was not bad but at the same time it was just not the same.  Last week when I was doing my commenting I found pictures of some pumpkin cookies that looked just like what I used to get in the store.  &lt;a href=" http://grubandstuff.blogspot.com/"&gt;Have A Daily Serving And Enjoy (Grub and Stuff)&lt;/a&gt; was sharing what has to be the simplest recipe for these wonderful cookies and I knew by the picture that they would taste just like the ones I fell in love with.  My husband was thrilled over the thought of making these little gems but of course asked ever so sweetly if I would put raisins in the cookies too, and of course for him I did.  I want to thank Kasha for sharing this simple but wonderful cookie recipe because they did turn out and taste just like what I have been trying to duplicate for years.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 Can - Pumpkin Pie Mix (30 oz. )&lt;br /&gt;1 Box - Betty Crocker Super Moist Spice Cake Mix&lt;br /&gt;1 Bag - Chocolate Chunks&lt;br /&gt;½ C. - Golden Raisins  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In the bowl of your kitchen aid add the cake mix and can of pumpkin, mix until thoroughly combined.  Stir in the chunks and raisins and mix well.  Drop onto a parchment lined baking sheet using an ice-cream scoop.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12-18 minutes. My husband and father in law both love oatmeal raisin cookies to death, so I thought this cookie would be the next best thing and a real winner with the family.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2/3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Mini Marshmallows&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Quick Cooking Oats&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - 1/3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Cake Flour&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3/4 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Baking Soda&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Baking Powder&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Salt&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Packed Brown Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - 1/2&lt;/span&gt; - Sticks Softened Butter&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/4 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Egg&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Honey&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Vanilla&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Toll House Chocolate Caramel Chips&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3/4 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Coarse Chocolate Graham Cracker Crumbs&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Cut marshmallows in half and spread out onto a baking sheet then freeze for 1 hour.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line the baking sheets with parchment paper.  In a medium size bowl combine the oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.  In the bowl of your kitchen aid add the butter, brown sugar and sugar, cream at medium speed.  Add egg, honey, and vanilla and mix until well combined.  Gradually mix in the flour mixture just until blended.  Stir in the chocolate chips and marshmallows.  Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheet and sprinkle each cookie with some of the graham cracker crumbs. Bake 14-16 minutes or until golden brown.  Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes then remove and cool completely on a wire rack. Mazatlan has very good food, my husband and his dad simply love the chips and salsa.  One of the last times we all met for dinner my husband got a dish of Pico De Gallo on the side, his dad and him just flipped for it, they thought it was the best stuff on the table.  Immediately my husband turned to me and asked if this would be very hard to make at home, to look at it I really didn't think so, and let me just say it is so very easy.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;6&lt;/span&gt; - Roma Tomatoes Diced (seeded)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2  Small&lt;/span&gt; - Red Onion (diced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2  Small&lt;/span&gt; - Walla Walla Sweet Onion (diced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Jalapeño (seeded &amp; diced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Serrano Pepper (seeded &amp; diced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Chopped Fresh Cilantro&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Lime Juice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Salt&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour to blend the flavors.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. I recall they came in a green box with a plate of the cookies on the front; they were covered in fluffy powder sugar and had an intense lemon flavor.  I loved them and begged my mom every time we went to the store if she would get me another box.  I have not had them in what seems like forever, I have not been able to find them at any of the stores I shop at, I was so thrilled when I found a recipe on the Internet for them.  I made these lovely lemony cookies Sunday and everyone at home loved them and everyone at my work wanted more.  My husband took some to three friends at one of his customer’s offices, and they all loved them too.   I would strongly recommend a travel back to your child hood and enjoy some of these very flavorful lemon cookies.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Powder Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - White Granulated Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Butter Flavor Crisco&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Large Egg&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Vanilla&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/8 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Salt&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1  1/2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Cake Flour&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1  1/2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Baking Powder&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Water&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Lemon Powder Sugar:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Powder Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Small Packet&lt;/span&gt; - Lemon Kool-Aid (unsweetened)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a large bowl cream together the sugars, Crisco, egg, vanilla and salt.   Add the flour and baking powder and the water.  Mix until dough forms a ball.  Roll rough into ¾ inch balls and flatten slightly onto a greased cookie sheet.  Bake for 15-18 min. in a 325 degree oven.  While the cookies are baking, combine the 1 cup of powder sugar and Kool-Aid in a large zippy bag, seal the bag and shake to mix.  When the cookies are done baking drop a few at a time into the zippy bag and shake to coat with the lemon powder mixture. My husband on the other hand is not a big fan so I was determined to find a recipe that would make him take another look at Rhubarb.  I found this cake recipe that I just fell in love with, the combo of flavors and ingredients made me do a double take but I thought who am I to judge until I try it.  I made this wonderful cake for my husband and my in-laws and they all loved it, we loved how at the same time it was tart, tangy &amp; sweet.  It had such a moist texture and wonderful color; this was the perfect choice to get my husband to love Rhubarb.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - (20 oz.) Can&lt;/span&gt; - Crushed Pineapple, drained and &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;save the juice&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Chopped Rhubarb&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½ C.&lt;/span&gt; - White Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½ C.&lt;/span&gt; - Brown Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - (3 oz.) Box&lt;/span&gt; - Strawberry Jell-o Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Mini Marshmallows&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - (18.25 oz.) Box&lt;/span&gt; - White or Yellow Cake Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a medium bowl, mix together the pineapple, rhubarb, white sugar, brown sugar, jell-o, and marshmallows.  Pour into the bottom of a sprayed 13x9 cake pan.  In another bowl make the cake according to the box directions but replace the water with the pineapple juice, when mixed spread evenly over the rhubarb mixture.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 min to an hour or until a tooth pick comes out clean. Just about the same time I found this recipe Nicole had just supplied me with her homemade strawberry freezer jam, one taste and I knew that would be the perfect filling for the pop tarts.  She had no problem giving me another jar if it meant she would get fresh homemade pop tarts in return.  This recipe is darn easy and OMG so darn good, I love the store bought version but this homemade one is so much better. I was able to get 6 pop tarts from what I cut out and then I rerolled the left over dough and was able to get 2 more.  Place about 1 Tbs. of jam or preserve in the center of a rectangle and spread out, stopping just before the edge.  Place another piece of dough on top and using a fork crimp the edges together and then the side of the fork create a seal around the perimeter of the pop tart. Place all of the pop tarts onto a well greased baking sheet and cook at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.  Let them cool before glazing. I have been to many farmers markets before but this one offers many things I have never seen before.  The best deal that we found was an outstanding buy of a 5 lb. bag of fresh blueberries for $10.00; my head was spinning on all the things I could whip up.  We saw many varieties of fingerling potatoes, from the standard red, Yukon gold, purple to ones they call a red apple.  I had also heard that if an artichoke goes to flower that it is gorgeous, I am happy to report that it is true. All I can say is OMG Delish, this is the best tasting thing I have ever eaten for 99 cents.  Whenever  we are in a need of a cheap snack Taco Bell is are new go to place, this little burrito has so much flavor and texture with the beef, rice and cheese sauce.  We love it so much we just had to try our hand at making our own version at home.   It turned out great, Taco Bell still has the best but I think ours was a very close second.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Lbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Ground Hamburger&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - .25oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Taco Bell Season Packet&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - 10 3/4oz.&lt;/span&gt; Campbell's Fiesta Cheese Soup&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - 10 3/4oz.&lt;/span&gt; Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½ &lt;/span&gt;- Red Onion (diced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 ½ C.&lt;/span&gt; - Cooked Rice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Chopped Garlic&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Flour Tortilla Wraps&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;EVOO&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Your favorite taco sauce or pico de gallo&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Sauté the onion and garlic in the EVOO over medium high heat, remove from the pan and cook the meat.  While the meat is cooking heat the soups in a pan over medium heat, stir occasionally.  When the meat is cooked add the onion and garlic back into the pan and then add the taco season, (follow the package as to amount of water you will need),  add your rice to your mixture.  When the filling is ready, lay out a tortilla wrap and place down some of the meat mixture then top with a big ladle of the soup.  Fold the ends in and roll up into a burrito.  The filling is good enough to eat on its own; it’s that good that it can stand alone. When he makes his sauce he does it in a pot on the stove, I took an easier route and used my trusty, handy dandy crock pot.  Having it simmer all day just made the house smell like an Italian restaurant and also made our mouths water all day too. The end result was well worth the torture we endured all day waiting for dinner to be ready.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Lb.&lt;/span&gt; - Stew Meat&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Flour&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Corn Starch&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - EVOO&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Chopped Garlic&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Diced Onion&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;10 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Can Rotel Mexican Lime &amp; Cilantro&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;12 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Tomato Paste&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;15 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Tomato Sauce&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;22 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Beef Broth&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Italian Seasonings&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Johnny's Garlic Seasonings&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Chocolate Bars (any plain chocolate will do)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Cooked Elbow Macaroni&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Parmesan Cheese&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Salt &amp; Pepper&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a large zippy bag place the flour, corn starch and meat, shake until fully coated.  In a frying pan heat the oil and sauté the meat and onion just until the onion is soft and the meat is lightly browned.  Transfer into the crock pot and stir in all of the other ingredients, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5.  When you are at the last couple hours drop in the chocolate and stir until well combined, when you have 30 minutes left stir in the pasta and cover so all of the flavors combine. So today I had this massive craving for chocolate that simply could not be ignored, you know the kind I speak of.  I had all of the fixings to make a standard chocolate cake, but OH NO.... we did not stop there.  I also had a few other items that I knew would take this simple cake to a whole new level of YUM!!!  A big piece of cake along with a glass of cold milk and I was good to go.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Cake:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Water, Oil &amp; Eggs&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Filling:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 - 4oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Serving White Chocolate Instant Pudding&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Milk&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Peppermint Extract&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Frosting:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Betty Crocker Whipped Chocolate Frosting&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Andes Mint Baking Bits &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Make according to box directions and bake at 350 degrees in a well sprayed glass cake pan or at 325 degrees if using a dark or non stick pan.  After the cake is done baking remove from the oven and cool for 15 minutes.   In a medium sized bowl beat together the pudding mix, milk and extract for about 2 minutes, when ready pour over the top of the cake and cover loosely with foil or plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.  When cool and the pudding is set frost carefully with the frosting and sprinkle on the candy bits. The first thing that came to mind was a fabulous drink we had in Vegas on our honeymoon; we had everything at home to make it other than the alcohol.  When my husband came home we ran to our local liquor store for Rum and Tequila, these drinks only take moments to make and the flavor combination is over the top delish!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Pina Colada:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Pina Colada Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Rum&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;7 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Ice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Strawberry Margarita:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;5 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Strawberry Margarita Mix&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Tequila&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;8&lt;/span&gt; - Frozen Strawberries&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;7 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Ice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Place into a blender the Pina Colada ingredients and blend until smooth and frothy, pour into a glass and fill about half way.  Rinse out the blender and place in the margarita ingredients and blend until smooth and frothy, pour on top of the Pina Colada and fill the glass. I really think fun is an understatement, we have very much enjoyed sharing some our old favorites and of course the new ones as well.  It is always an adventure to walk into the kitchen and decide what we are going to make and share for the week, the best part is reading all of the comments left by our blog friends. My husband and I were very intrigued by this place; it was like being a kid all over again.  That is until you read further down the menu; I was finding what I would consider to be very sophisticated grilled cheese sammies, along with some very creative dessert sammies.  I knew that we had to go give this place a try for sure, again how could you not.... I read further down the menu to see something I knew immediately that I had to try.  The Cheesus Burger, this monster of a burger has no bun; nope instead it has 2 grilled cheese sammies with each one having their own fillings and kind of cheese.  After I regained my composure my husband and I made a date to go check this place out and experience the Cheesus Burger for ourselves.  Last Friday night we headed out to the restaurant and when we arrived we were shocked to see that it was not a restaurant but a school bus and travel trailer.  The trailer was the kitchen where all of the masterpieces are made and the school bus is the dining room, this place was so much fun.  The bus has a mural painted on the ceiling and the tables have what look to be junior high school pictures covering the top of them, each table has a cup of trivia game cards for you to play while you wait for your order to be called out that its ready.  This hip trendy place does not even give you a number, instead they give you basketball trading cards and the players name is what the cook will call out when your order is up.  My husband took some great pictures of this place and of course The Cheesus Burger, so last night for dinner we made our own version that we lovingly called …&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;8&lt;/span&gt; - Slices of White Bread &lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4&lt;/span&gt; - Slices Bacon (cooked)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2&lt;/span&gt; - 1/2 Lb. Burgers (cooked)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1&lt;/span&gt; - Sliced Onion (caramelized)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;10&lt;/span&gt; - Sweet Chip Pickles (pat dry)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4&lt;/span&gt; - Slices Pepper Jack Cheese&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4&lt;/span&gt; - Slices Colby Jack Cheese&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Mayo&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Butter&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Butter all 8 pieces of bread on one side; lay 4 of them buttered side down on a hot (350 degree) electric grill.  Top 2 of them with 1 piece each of pepper jack, onions and 1 piece of bacon broken into 2 pieces.  Then another slice of pepper jack on top with another piece of bread, buttered side up.  On the other 2 pieces of bread place 1 piece each of the Colby jack cheese, 5 pickles, 1 piece of bacon broken into 2 pieces then another slice of Colby jack and top with another piece of bread, buttered side up.  Cook on each side until golden, crisp and the cheese is melted.  On a plate set down one sammie and spread on some mayo then top it with the burger, on the other sammie spread on some mayo and place it on top of the burger mayo side down. However we wanted something a little different other than just cooking them on the BBQ.  I looked on line and found some really wonderful sounding recipes but the one that really caught my eye was using a crock pot.  We all know how much I love to use mine, this recipe has so many items in it that I have either never used or would have never thought to put together in the same dish.  I must say though these were by far the best boneless beef ribs I have ever had, I bet they would be just as awesome if I used pork ribs too.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2/3 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Flour&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Salt&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Pepper&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4 Lbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Boneless Beef Ribs &lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/4 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Butter&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Large&lt;/span&gt; - Chopped Onion&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 ½ C.&lt;/span&gt; - Beef Broth&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3/4 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Garlic Red Wine Vinegar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3/4 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Packed Brown Sugar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Sweet Chili Sauce&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1/3 C. &lt;/span&gt;- Ketchup&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Chopped Garlic&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 ½ Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Chili Powder&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a large zippy bag place the flour, salt &amp; pepper, mix to combine.  Add the ribs in batches and shake to coat.  In a large frying pan melt the butter and brown the ribs on all sides, transfer the browned ribs to the bottom of a 5 qt crock pot.  In the same frying pan combine the remaining items and bring to a boil, pour over the ribs.  Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or until meat is tender and falling apart. I had visions of bacon, chili and cheese sauce.  This was such a strong desire that I had to stop at the store on the way home so I could feed this craving.  I love brats of any kind but OMG... having them all dressed up this way was out of this world GOOD!!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2&lt;/span&gt; - Stadium Rolls&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2&lt;/span&gt; - Cheddar Brats&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4&lt;/span&gt; - Slices of Bacon&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Can&lt;/span&gt; - Chili with no beans&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Can&lt;/span&gt; - Cheddar Cheese Soup&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Cook the bacon and brats on the BBQ until the bacon is crispy and the brats are well heated, about 15 minutes on high.  Warm the soup and chili in sauce pans over medium low heat while the bacon and brats are cooking.  When everything is ready to assemble open a bun and place a brat inside, place 1 piece of bacon along each side of the brat. The taco looks so good, light and refreshing, perfect for one of these hot June nights we have been getting.  I used the concept of the recipe but my husband and I changed the way the fish was done.  This was my first time to ever eat a fish taco; I loved it a great deal.  The flavor was simply incredible and it was extremely easy to prepare.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3&lt;/span&gt; - Eggs (beaten)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Flour&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 C.&lt;/span&gt; - Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4&lt;/span&gt; - Tilapia Fillets&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Johnny's Garlic Season&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Soft Tortilla Wraps&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Lettuce Shreds&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Pica De Gallo&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Pace Pineapple Mango Chipotle Salsa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Place 3 shallow dishes on the counter, in one place the eggs, in another the flour and Johnny's in the last is the Parmesan cheese.  Dip one piece of fish into the egg then into the flour, shake off the excess and dip into the egg again then into the cheese pressing firmly to get a good coating.  Do the same with the remaining fish.  Cook on a preheated electric skillet at 325 degrees for 5-8 minutes on each side or until the cheese is golden brown and crispy. I looked through You Tube and was able to find this video clip to show my husband and he was shocked and amazed at what Paula was doing, but at the same time we both knew that we MUST give this recipe a try.  I do confess that this had to be one of the best things I have ever eaten and probably the worst for me health wise.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2- ½ Lb&lt;/span&gt; - BBQ Burgers&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4 Strips&lt;/span&gt; - Bacon (cooked)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;2&lt;/span&gt; Eggs - (fried)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4&lt;/span&gt; - Krispy Kreme Donuts&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Place one donut down on a plate and top it with 1 burger, then with 1 egg and then with 2 strips of bacon (break each strip into 2 sections) then top the entire thing with another donut. Sit back in awe on what you are just about to consume then raise it to your mouth and just go for it. If this idea was not weird enough my husband then said he wanted to actually bake this cake in the glass this drink would normally be served in.  So then of course I had the idea to decorate it just like the drink, they turned out so darn cute and very good. Fill a margarita glass about ¾ full with batter and the cupcake liners you would fill them about 2/3 the way.  If you are baking in the glass, cook at 220 degrees for 60 min (or until done, you can use a lower heat but then extend your cooking time) and if you are using the liners bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. This book has more than 800 full color recipes and as the title says with step by step instructions.  I found this cute little appetizer that sounded so darn good and the picture in the book was so cute that I just had to give it a try.  Of course as we do with so many of the recipes we make, we altered it from its original state.  My husband took some to his Greek friend again today and just like the Baklava he simply loved this and wished that he had more.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;½&lt;/span&gt; - Medium Onion (diced)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - Garlic (chopped)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt; - EVOO&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;3 Tbs.&lt;/span&gt;  - Butter (melted)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;4 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Peeled Diced Shrimp (cooked)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;6 oz.&lt;/span&gt; - Aethnos Garlic Herb Feta Crumbles&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;1 Tsp.&lt;/span&gt; - Chives&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;6 Sheets&lt;/span&gt; - Phyllo Dough&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Salt &amp; Pepper&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In a medium sized frying pan heat the EVOO over medium high heat, once the oil is hot sauté the onion and garlic for about 5-8 minutes.  While the onion is getting tender add in the Diced Shrimp, chives, and salt &amp; pepper.  Remove from heat and mix in the feta cheese, remove 6 sheets of phyllo from the roll and put the rest in the fridge for another time.  Cut the phyllo in half, then cut each half into half, cut each strip into 3 sections and this will yield you 12 sections.  On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat, lay out 3 sheets of dough in a stack, brush with melted butter then lay the other 3 sheets on top at an angle and brush with more butter.  Place about 1 Tsp. Of filling in the center of the dough then bring in the opposite corners to form the buttons bunching the dough together at the top.  Carefully brush the entire button with melted butter and continue with the rest of the phyllo and filling. Once all buttons are made, cook in a 400 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
