如果孩子睡得好，就算少睡一點，影響真的有這麼大嗎？答案是，睡眠的質和量同 等重要。特拉維夫大學艾維‧索丹博士指出，睡眠量的些微差距，確實對孩子的學習力造成極大的影響。

新學期方始，你家孩子是不是又出現每天睡不飽的狀況？英國《每日郵報》最新一篇報導指出，學齡兒童睡眠不足，將導致大腦功能無法彌補的損害。 以認知能力為例，每天晚睡一小時的學童，其認知發展會比同齡孩子落後兩年。專家更指出，青少年長時間的睡眠不足，也有可能引發情緒暴躁、憂鬱、酗酒等行為 問題。

也許家長不免納悶：如果孩子睡得好，就算少睡一點，影響真的有這麼大嗎？答案是，睡眠的質和量同等重要。特拉維夫大學艾維‧索丹博 士指出，睡眠量的些微差距，確實對孩子的學習力造成極大的影響。睡眠不足不但有礙學童的大腦發展，也連帶降低學業表現、情緒管理，並且造成過胖、注意力不 集中等問題。

從生理發展的角度來看，直到二十一歲為止，大腦都處於發育成熟階段，且多半是在睡眠中進行的。專家呼籲，正值成長期的學童，每日至少要睡飽九個小時以上。 然而，和三十年前的孩子相比，現在的國中小學童平均每晚少睡一小時。半數國小學童在上學日的睡眠時間都不滿七小時；課業壓力大的國中生更不用說，平均睡眠 時間只有六小時。

面對永遠睡不飽的孩子，家長應先檢視以下幾個因素：是否過度安排活動、功課太繁重、家庭作息過於鬆散，或沉溺電視電玩的誘惑。此外，為了讓孩子建立良好的 睡眠習慣，專家還提供幾個實用技巧：

1. 實施睡前儀式：針對年紀小的孩子，爸媽可運用床邊故事、背部按摩、泡澡等靜態活動，營造愉快正面的家庭氛圍，幫助孩子建立固定的睡前作息。

2. 列出睡前檢查表：針對大一點的孩子，爸媽可設計一份「睡前檢查表」，清楚列出睡前該做的事，供孩子勾選自己已完成的項目，這樣不但可減少無謂的親子爭執， 也能滿足孩子「做到了」的成就感。

3. 要提前準備：為了確保孩子每天能在固定時間入睡，爸媽千萬不要等到規定時間一到，才匆忙催促孩子去睡覺。明智的做法是，全家人要在睡前一小時，啟動刷牙、 唸故事書等準備工作，以預留充足時間，因應生活中許多突發的狀況。</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml'
