I first caught wind of these two bewitchingly beautiful twin models on the first of March three months ago, when esteemed blogger and casting director Douglas Perett of COACD posted two polaroids (pictured above and below) of Ann and Kirby Kenny @ DNA in New York. Twenty-four days later, Perett posted his "Top Ten Faces of Fall/Winter 2010" piece, and sure enough, there were the Kenny twins at number one. Indubitably, you can count on the highly reputable Douglas Perett to select the best, and it is nothing short of evident that these two are headed straight to the top.

I figured that much when an image of the Kenny sisters filled my screen while visiting the Hedi Slimane Fashion Diary. Now we all know the stature of Hedi Slimane, the photography mastermind behind the Dior Homme line, who has shot the likes of Kate Moss, Lindsay Lohan, Courtney Love, Robert Pattinson, and plenty of others. Not to mention his countless contributions to distinguished magazines such as Dazed, Another, V Magazine, and multiple Vogues.

It is with that knowledge that I am rather certain of the fate that the two darling Kenny girls have awaiting them. With their piercing blue, alien-like eyes and porcelain doll features, it is quite clear-cut why these two have caught the eye of someone such as Hedi Slimane. I expect it's only a matter of time before these two are gracing covers and campaigns from coast to coast.

Remember that really cool "God Save The Queen" tee that Agyness Deyn wore backstage way back at the Anna Sui Fall 2009 shows? Well if you don't, let me assure you, it was one of the greatest graphic tees ever, gaining so much global attention, that even Sui's children were wanting one (GraziaDaily). Turns out, the shirt was from Agy's younger sister who had made it for her as a birthday present. Emily Deyn is a twenty-two year old artist who began designing/silkscreening t-shirts with her best mate Aliyaah Hussein back in 2009 (Available HERE). As of yesterday, Emily has launched a full line of tees and tanks at Uniqlo on 546 Broadway in New York City, featuring polaroids of she and Agyness galivanting around the big apple doing their favorite things. Although I would definitely love a copy of Agy's birthday shirt, I am not sure I would necessarily plasted the supermodel and her kin across my chest. Read the full article on Grazia Daily.

If you have waist-length hair like I do, you'll find this trend extremely convenient. The first time I saw the trend fully-fledged for spring, was at the Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2010 runway show at New York Fashion Week last September. To match his androgynous sportswear-inspired collection rocked so well by models like Magdalena Frackowiak and Abbey Lee Kershaw, the models were sporting (pardon the pun) enormous side braids, loosely tied. I absolutely loved it. Classy, chic, and just enough attitude to have me wearing it all summer long. Braids are my forté.

To give you some visual inspiration, I decided to pull up Kasia Struss in the January issue of Vogue US. The article was to highlight jackets, hence the editorial "Jackets of All Trades", but I thought it was a nice touch to show a lovely darling sophisticatedly showing-off the beauty trend. The hair stylings in the editorial were done by Guido Palau, and it was photographed by David Sims.

H&M really has the Spring/Summer 2010 trends pegged. Since I have been flooding you all with lookbooks to inspire your spring wardrobe, here are some shots of clothing that you can actually go purchase. In H&M's Spring 2010 in-store magazine, Natasa Vojnovic is shot by Terry Richardson in everything the summer heat is calling for, in the season's hottest hues. Horizontal stripes, khaki shorts, jumpsuits, cropped bomber jackets, sheer shirts, and cropped tops - H&M has it all this season.
