Adsense Tips – Maximize the usage of channel

For those who have known much about Google AdSense business, may be you are no stranger to the term of Channel at Google AdSense, however, not all of you who take part in this business, especially for newcomers, know what channel is. The main function of a channel is for tracking to an installed ad, the other function is for evaluation matter for us, and how effective is the ad we have installed on our site. Still confused? OK, I’ll make it more clear. Continue reading!

I give an illustration:

From the above illustration, there are two AdSense that I installed on one of Kang Rohman’s sites. If Kang Rohman installed the AdSense code without using channel, then each click to the AdSense will not be known how many clicks there are on each AdSense, how many clicks on the up-right ad and how many clicks on the down-left one. We will just know the total of the clicks for the both ads.

It will be different if we use the channel, for instance, the top-right ad will be named as header T4u and the under-left as sidebar T4u, so the total of clicks of each ad will displayed differently, and then we will be clear to know which ads with the most clicks. With this, Kang Rohman can evaluate that the ad with less clicks must be changed, I’d say, the link color is not appropriate or the place of the ad must be moved to another place.

The illustration above is for one blog, how about you have many blogs with ad on them, the usage of channel at each ad code is necessary to know how effective the ad is, below is the example of ad report using the channel:

It is very clear, right. Which ad is effective and get the most clicks and which one is not effective.

If you have understood what the advantages of using the channel at every ad code, then the next step is how to make the channel itself. In order to make a channel, you will have several ways, but to shorten this article, I’ll discuss just one way.

The easy way is when we make the ad; you will be guided to make a channel straight, below is the steps:

Please log in to google Adsense with your ID
Click AdSense Setup tab
Click Adsense for Content
Mark the radio button for Ad Unit or Link Unit (depends on ad you want to make), then click Continue >>
Please choose the size, the link color, and corner style of AdSense, as you want. Then, click continue >>
You will make a channel at this part. Click the words Add new channel, a pop up will appear, fill with the channel name, and then click OK. For example: up-header T4U
After the process finished, click continue >>
Give name to your AdSense. Example: up-header T4U. Then click Submit and Get Code button.
Copy the code given, then install on your blog
Done

In order to track the effectiveness of all ads, Kang Rohman suggests you making the channel at each ad you will install.

Adding a Paypal Donation Button

Sign into your Paypal account and if you don’t have one you can get a free paypal account here.

Login into your Paypal account with your paypal E-mail address and password:
Click on ‘Merchant Services’ Tab available in the Top Menu
When you scroll down your window, you will see a ‘Donations’ link in the ‘PayPal Website Payments Standard’ heading Section.
Clicking on the ‘Donate’ link will take you a form where you are asked to fill some information’s like Organization name/service, Donation ID (optional).
Click on 'Customize Appearance' in order to use your own image for the button. You may use one of the images above if you like.
After Filing the required information click on ‘Create Button’ link.

Adding HTML code into Blogger blog:

Sign in into your Blogger Blog and Click on the ‘Layout’ link in your dashboard

Like many bloggers, I see no harm in including AdSense (and affiliate ads) in my blog, as a way of making a little money to help me pay for my blogging costs. This short series of posts will explain methods you can use to feature AdSense in your Blogger blog, including how to feature ads in the body of your posts.

Google's AdSense seems to be the most popular system of advertising in blogs. This free service for web-publishers is easy to use, especially as ads are contextual (they change depending on the content of a particular page to display relevant ads for your readers). Most bloggers are eligible to sign up for AdSense, which you can do using this link.

Ensure you are aware of Google's policies for AdSense publishers, including sites which are prohibited from featuring AdSense, site and ad behaviour, and the number of ads allowed in a page.

How many ads can be displayed in a single page?

In any single web page, you can have:
Up to three ad units
Two AdSense for search boxes
Up to three link units
A maximum of three referral units

These regulations can be especially important for bloggers who choose to include ads in their posts, since the main page of your blog can feature a number of posts, and you cannot feature ad units in all of them. However, there are methods of displaying ads in posts only on post pages, as I will explain in a later installment.

How does Google decide which ads to display?

Keywords from your title and blog posts are used to determine the most relevant ads to display. It's best to try and keep each blog post on one particular subject and include relevant keywords in the title and at least a few times in the article itself. Problogger features some great advice on ensuring relevant ads are displayed on your site.

How do I place ads in my blog?

Blogger now has widgets you can use to include AdSense in your sidebar. You can configure the colour schemes and size of these ads to suit those of your blog.

Alternatively, log in to your AdSense control panel and click on the "AdSense setup" tab at the top of the page. You can then choose the type of ad you wish to use and get the relevant code, which you should then paste into your template where you would like the ad to be displayed.

Click Setting and then click Basic. Several form that must in the contents to the menu basic:

Title : Content with your blog title. Example : Blog Tutorial.

Add your blog to our listing : chose Yes, so that every time posting always entered the Blogger.com list.

Show Quick Editing on your blog : Chose Yes.

Comments : Chose Show.

Who Comment? Chose Anyone. It's means anyone can comment to your post.

Comments Default for Post : Chose New post Have Comments

Back links : Chose Show. It's means you will know if another people has linked to your post.

Backlinks default for Posts : Chose New post have Backlinks.

Show comments in a popup window? : Chose Yes. It's means when the people click Comment link your blog not lost.

Show word verification for comments? : It's better to chose Yes

Enable comment moderation? : Chose No, but if you wanted chose Yes it's allright.

Show profile images on comments? : Chose Yes. It's means the photo of commentator of blogger member can display.

Comment Notification Address : Content with your email address.

Firstly to create a blog, you need to list www.blogger.com and then follow the steps below :

Click an arrow sign, inscribed with “CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW”
Complete the ‘e-mail address’ form, with your own e-mail address (of course with the valid one).
Rewrite your e-mail address in form ‘retype e-mail address’
Type the password as you wanted to. Type it in form, ‘enter a password’
Retype your password in form ‘type password again’

Wait a moment. After you meet a sentence ‘Your blog has been created’. Click an arrow sign (again) which inscribed with “BEGIN POSTING’. Feel please to fill up your blog with everything you want to. After you finish with your first posting, just click the sentence, ‘PUBLISH YOUR POSTING’, Please write What you want, if being finished then click of the publish button.

Instal Windows Menggunakan USB Flasdisk

Bagi-bagi ilmu adalah wajib, dan moga-moga mendapatkan pahala.amin
inipun saya dapat dari browsing-browsing dan ternyata ada juga trik seperti ini.
Sebelumnya saya berfikir instal windows menggunakan USB flasdisk tidak bisa, ternyata tanpa disengaja saya menemukan trik seperti ini dan ternyata bisa dan berhasil saya lakukan. Nah, dengan begitu bertambahlah ilmu saya. Allhamdulliah
Sebelumnya mari kita semangat dan berfikir semuanya itu mudah untuk dipelajari. Postingan ini tepatnya adalah Pembuatan flasdisk Windows XP :
langsung saja....
Pertama, kita siapkan peralatan :

Komputer/laptop yang memiliki CD Rom (OS-nya Windows)
USB flashdisk yang akan digunakan, minimum 1 Gb
CD Windows XP
Disarankan menggunakan laptop, menghindari mati lampu

Lalu, siapkan file/software yang diperlukan :

File Usb_prep8, download
File PeToUSB, download
File Bootsect.exe, download

Selanjutnya ikuti langkah berikut :

Buatlah folder di drive C: nama terserah Anda, misalnya Windowsusb. Masukan tiga file di atas ke dalam folder Windowsusb.
Ekstrak ketiga file tersebut
Copy file PeToUSB.exe ke folder USB_prep8

Lalu, proses pembuatan flashdisk Windows XP :

Masukan CD Windows XP ke dalam CD Rom
Tancapkan flashdisk ke komputer/laptop
Jalankan file usb_prep8.cmd yang ada didalam folder USB_prep8 akan muncul

4. Tekan sembarang tombol, sekarang giliran gambar ini yang muncul

5. Pilih drive tempat USB flashdisk - klik start untuk fomat dan tunggu sampai selesai. Sebaiknya backup dulu data di flashdik kalau ada data penting Anda. Setelah selesai biarkan saja dua jendela tadi terbuka, jangan ditutup.
6. Pada desktop klik Start - Run - ketik cmd - enter - Lalu ketik cd\ dan enter - Ketik lagi cd namafolder (kalau contoh di atas cd windowsusb).
7. Ketik bootsect.exe /nt52 G: (G = drive USB). kalau drive USB Anda di F jadinya bootsect.exe /nt52 F: tekan enter jangan sampe salah. Kalau salah pasti akan ketahuan, karena setelah proses ini akan keluar kalimat ‘Bootcode was successfully updated on all targeted volumes’, jadi kalau salah kalimat ini tidak akan keluar, ulangi saja.
8. Setelah proses ini selesai, tutup command prompt ini. Pada langkah no. 4 juga close saja pada jendela PeToUSB-nya. Tapi pada command prompt di no. 3 biarkan saja. Nanti command promptnya akan menjadi seperti ini :

9. Ikuti saja petunjuk pada gambar di atas. Ketik angka 0 untuk mengubah tipe USB-Drive. Ketik angka 1 untuk browse drive CD Windows XP-nya. Ketik angka 2 untuk mengubah virtual tempdrive, atau biarkan saja, dilewat. Ketik angka 3 dan tuliskan drive tempat USB flashdisk-nya, misal F, G, atau H. Ketik angka 4. Jangan lupa enter pada semua tahapan tadi. Pada tahap ini adalah proses copy ke USB flashdiks. Tunggu agak lama, bisa ngeteh atau ngopi dulu.
10. Kalau muncul pertanyaan untuk format drive T, ketik saja y dan enter. Setelah itu tinggal enter dan enter saja. Nanti ada jendela popup yang muncul, yes-kan aja semua.
11.Selesai, tutup windows Command prompt usbprep8.

Flashdisk sudah bisa digunakan pakai untuk melakukan instalasi Windows XP ke laptop.
Berikutnya adalah melakukan install Windows XP ke laptop menggunakan USB flashdisk,
1. Maukan USB flashdisk ke laptop, lalu nyalakan laptopnya. Masuk ke setting BIOS untuk proses Boot-nya. Pilih booting pertama menggunakan booting USB. Biasanya menu masuk ke settingan ini dengan menekan tombol F2 atau ada juga yang F10, atau ada juga yang lain, coba saja.
2. Setelah detect USB flashdisk proses akan berlangsung dan pada saat menu instalasi pilih yang mode TEXT SETUP. Lakukan proses install Windows XP seperti biasa. Nanti akan restart.
3. Pada saat restart akan berlanjut proses instalasi dan di sini pilih yang Mode GUI (jangan Mode TEXT SETUP lagi). Nanti akan restart lagi, pilih lagi yang Mode GUI.
4. Biarkan USB flashdisk-nya sampai proses benar-benar selesai dan sudah masuk ke desktop Windows XP. Berarti proses instalasi sudah selesai dan berhasil. Baru flshdisk boleh dicabut.
5. Jangan lupa setting BIOS-nya dikembalikan untuk booting awalnya ke hardisk lagi seperti biasa.
6. Untuk install driver-nya tinggal copy saja file driver yang ada di cd ke flashdisk. Terus diinstall dari USB flashdisk ke laptop. Selesai

Merubah tampilan layout facebook dengan cara userstyles.org (untuk penguna mozila firefox)
Menggunakan Stylish 0.5.9
Caranya :
1) Download add-ons mozzila Stylish 0.5.9
2) Klik "add to firefox", install and restart mozilla firefox
3) Pilih tampilan yang Anda inginkan
4) Pada Install options Klik tombol "Load into Stylish"
5) Klik preview untuk melihat tampilan dan save jika Anda ingin memasang
