I have a strong desire to work in advertising, and because I have not yet completed all of my courses, I still have none, or very little experience in the world of advertising. I have composed a job search in the Georgia area on advertising coordination positions. As a result, sports advertising and sales came up. There were a ton of positions with this title, and after clicking on a link, and reading description of CV Marketing and Associates INC. I got really excited. They mentioned that they work with many companies, entertainment giants and sports teams. I never gave much thought about working in this area, I have only had visions of working with consumer products, and companies who make consumer products. I have never imagined working on promoting a person as a product. Seeing this job opportunity has opened my eyes to a new option. I am not sure how interested I really am in this area thus far, but it has definitely ignited a new option. I will be investigating this area of advertising further.

Firms in Macon

After four years of living in such a small city, I was unaware of the various advertising firms that are here. I always thought about moving to a bigger city, or more active part of Macon after college, to pursue a career in advertising. After surfing the Internet, I found over twenty advertising firms outside of news media. I had no idea that there were that many. Although that is not a lot, it is more than I thought I would ever find in Macon.
I will be searching for more opportunities in nearby towns, just to see what else is offered. If I have no luck with a good paying position, which also allows me to use my creativity to its fullest, I will make my way back to Orlando Florida, where I am sure there is something that I can do. I will be researching opportunities in that city soon.

Wow, I really am enjoying this Writing for Digital Media class. It has really allowed me to get prepared for life after college. I am now looking forward to getting back to Mercer and completing my studies. I have been looking over the work that I have done in communications thus far, and I now realize that I have done a lot in a very short amount of time. I am interested in seeing how my last couple of courses of my college career will help me to evolve creatively.
