If you haven't checked these guys out, go do so, they are fabulous !!!!

As usual, I keep it simple. I loved working with the Dainty Botanical Stamps and Dies. I love that there's matching dies, the thought of cutting all these little sprigs out would have drove me mad LOL !!
Start by drawing a circle on a card panel, I used a reel of DST.

Stamp and emboss with Gold Rich Pale around the circle, this does two things, it gives you a base shape to work to and it hides the pencil lines.

On a couple of scraps of card stock, choose two of the sprigs and stamp the larger one in Hercules Embossing Glitter and the smaller one in Neptune Embossing Glitter, Die cut.

Adhere the larger ones, slightly offsetting them against the gold stamped sprigs.

For the next layer I trimmed off the ends of the smaller ones to keep it looking neater.

Adhere with foam pads.

Using the word 'Joy' from the Sizzix Tim Holtz holiday words, ink up with WOW! Slow Drying Embossing Ink, cover with Gold Rich Pale Embossing powder and heat set, report, for a really smooth and even more raised finish.

Adhere to the centre, Adhere the panel to card base in a matching colour.

This is such a quick and simple card, I feel a bit of a cheat, but wanted to share it with you.

I've used a tent fold card base with a slightly smaller panel, I die cut a circle from the panel, making sure the sentiment I wanted to use would fit !! Adhere panel to the card base.

Stamp and emboss the sentiment with Pink Robin Embossing Powder in the middle of the die cut, I love how fine this font is and our powders work beautifully with it. This is just a regular grade powder, but it picks up the lines perfectly.

Stamp and emboss one of the butterflies on some scrap white card, I used Pink Robin as the base, once heated, I went over it with the outline stamp using Sunset Boulevard, I repeated this, then did the same this time using Bird of Paradise with Carousel over the top.

Die cut the butterflies out using the matching dies.

To add a little dash line around the circle, place the die back in the aperture and draw on lines using the circle as a template.

Here's all the items I used for this card.

I absolutely love this sentiment !!! I mean, who needs a reason to make someone smile, and this card will certainly make someone smile, right !!
This Catherine pooler set of stamps worked so perfectly with our wonderful new Metalline Powders, they work on every detail and give that shimmer that makes you want to keep coming back for more !!

Take a piece of scrap card stock and stamp out a selection of flowers and leaves, embossing in various WOW! Metalline Powders. Do loads and store them in a little bag and when you need a card in a hurry you're ready to go. On the card front stamp and emboss some of the larger circles and leaves. Sprinkle on WOW! Gold Rich Ultra High and heat from underneath, in fact, where possible always try and heat from underneath, you'll get a much better finish.

With the matching dies to this stamp set, die cut the flowers and leaves. The Altenew Mini Blossom is perfect for this, as well as being the cutest die cut machine on the market !!

Start positioning and mounting using foam pads. Stamp the sentiment to the side.

Mount up your card.

Simple but effective.

So excited to be collaborating with the fabulous Catherine Pooler and her Team. I've been using their inks, stamps and dies for a while now and absolutely swear by them…. I LOVE them !!!

Working on a card panel slightly smaller than the card base, ink up the diagonal strip from the Happiness enclosed Stamp Set with CP ink Daydream and stamp, repeat moving over slightly.

Using some scrap white card, ink up a bit of the flower from Wonderful Wildflowers in Aquatini then fill in with Daydream.

Ink up the flower this time with WOW! Slow Drying Embossing Ink Pad and stamp over the flower and emboss with Clear Gloss. Take the tri-petal stamp from the matching flower and ink up with WOW! Slow Drying Embossing Ink, this time add WOW! Sparkles to it, shake off the excess and heat from underneath. It's important to heat from underneath, as this remelts the clear gloss and the Sparkles settle into the embossing powder. This is great if you don't like the idea of glitter shredding, as it stays exactly where it is, even if you rub it !!

Using the outline stamp on the flower, stamp and emboss in Opaque Bright White, if your previous embossing is still warm this will grab some of the white in the Sparkles area, I really liked the effect this gave. Repeat so you have two flowers, then die cut them with the matching dies.

Stamp in CP Ink Daydream 'You Are Wonderful' on a scrap of card and adhere to the panel. using foam pads adhere the flowers and finish off with a few sequins. Adhere the panel to the card base.

My next card is as simple as simple can be, using the gorgeous little gift out of the Happiness Enclosed Stamp set and the teeny tiny heart…. (I adore this and often the little bits get over looked, so I thought I'd use them)

Stamp and emboss the little gift parcel in four different colour powders, I used Avocado, Pink Robin, Bird of Paradise and First frost.

I filled in areas with the tiny heart, did I tell you I lOVE this :) :) using the Catherine Pooler inks in Party dress, Green Tea and Tutti Frutti.

One thing we often get asked is 'How fine are your powders?' well…. take a look at this, it's the smallest font and it embossed like a dream…. To make it 'pop' I mounted it onto a bit of black card stock and adhered it across the front of the card.

I wasn't going to do a third card, BUT….. Catherine and her team sent me the most beautiful background stamp 'Kaleidoscope Background Stamp' OH MY !!!! it's absolutely a dream to work with, as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to do a multi coloured embossed background. I teamed it up with the fabulous Postage Stamp Dies to make a frame.

Start by die cutting a frame from the Postage Stamp Dies, I used the largest ones. Ink up the stamp and place your card stock on top of the stamp and rub all over to transfer the ink.

Next, using one colour of embossing powder at a time, sprinkle in areas shaking off the excess as you go.

On the last colour, fill in the whole design, this will put powder wherever you didn't get the other colours. Heat set.

Add an adhesive foam strip to the back of the frame and adhere to the front panel.

Using the 'Hello' die from Pink and Main, die cut the word and the outline, adhere the outline to the card front. Ink up the 'Hello' using Daydream.

Ensure the ink is dry, then emboss three times with Clear Gloss.

Adhere to the outline piece.

Hi all Marion here and welcome to my creations for the hop ...........

When you have beautiful products to work with, you can't class it as a 'job' Ours aside, Honey Bee Stamps and dies are just stunning and such a wonderful quality !!

Why not join along and make this card for that special friend.
5" x 5" folded card
4.75" card front, using the Double Stitched Heart Dies from Pink and Main cut out a heart just off to the right. The fab thing about these dies is the stick goes on the piece thats cut and the aperture !!!

Using the die cut piece, draw around with a pencil to get your heart shape, this is your guide for stamping the leaves in
Fill the heart up with leaves alternating the colours. I used WOW! Kiwi Krush, Goose and Avocado.

Using foam pads adhere the aperture to the card base.

Stamp and emboss three flowers from the Spring Blossom stamp set with WOW! Cloud 9, then die cut them. I used the Spring Blossom Stamps https://shop.honeybeestamps.com/spring-blossoms-stamp/and Dies https://shop.honeybeestamps.com/springblossoms-honey-cuts-steel-dies/

Adhere to card front coming off the heart aperture, I used Pinflair glue as this gives you dimension and allows you to stick some stamens in and around the flowers. stamp the word Sweet Friend from the WOW! Just Saying Stamp Set on a piece of card stock and adhere to the card front.

You should give this fabulous Company a try, you won't be disappointed !!!

I couldn't stop there, in fact if I had more time I'd have done loads, but rest assured this won't be the last time you see these stamps and dies…. Here's another quick card..

Cover your card panel (this can be done in any size) in various colour inks. I used the Catherine Pooler Inks, they're so vibrant, juicy and just, well, lovely !!!

Make sure you cover all the white card stock, heat set it so it's completely dry.

Using the Honey Bee Spring Blossom Stamps, stamp and emboss randomly using WOW! Clear Embossing Powder.

Taking Versafine Onyx Black ink all over, covering everything. Then wipe away with kitchen roll to reveal the colourful flowers underneath. Using the Pink and Main Double Stitched Dies, cut a small heart out of the panel. Mount onto folded card base, stamp a sentiment and adhere across the heart.

When you've got good supplies it's easy to make quick, simple and effective cards, and these are no exception…

Here I've used the Catherine Pooler Zen Feather Stamp and Die set

On the feather cards I used WOW! Embossing Powder, Bird of paradise and Pink Robin, also First Frost and Kiwi Krush, they emboss beautifully…

and lastly when you need one of those 'really quick' cards, three simple flowers stamped and die cut. I used the Catherine pooler inks with the above stamps and dies, alongside a little sentiment from Altenew that I'll be featuring on the WOW! Blog on 4th April. Be sure to check it out !!

I have to admit to these being my favourites by far… although, I am leaning towards oranges and bright pinks… I know shock horror !!!!

We’re at the 3rd trade show.... this year !!!!!!
To say I’m tired is an understatement, but there’s something about the shows plus adrenaline that just keeps you going.

There’s nothing better than teaching people new techniques and that’s what these shows are all about. That and having fun of course !!!
We’re all set up...this is the calm before the storm ;) we have so many new things to show this year, it makes it all the more exciting.

One of the best things about trade show shows is meeting up with buddies in the industry and even though I see Leandra and Mark (PaperArtsy) every week (we quiz together) it was great to go out with them last night.

Richard and Mark look like they’re praying, when in fact they were having a bald off 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Steve has more hair than both of them put together so as a gesture of kindness he hid his. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s now 6am, I’m ready to jump in the shower and get this day started... think of me standing from 8am to 6pm.... I hope you get to sit a lot more.

I hope to get some pics and post them on here....watch this space !!

One for the Mums ...

In celebration of the fabulous Catherine Pooler Inks about to hit the store, I thought I'd pop a little card on here.

Take a folded card base, I always make mine from card stock, then I know the piece on top is going to match perfectly. then cut a smaller piece and perforate the edges, you can use a perforating blade, if your trimmer has one, or there are many dies out there that do this in a snip !

Using the WOW! Embossing Powder Layered Hearts Stamps, I inked up and stamped using the Catherine Pooler Daydream, Aquatini and Skylight Inks.

Embellish with a Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen, one of my favourites !!!

Finish off with the Mothers day sentiment from the WOW! Embossing Powder Everyday Sentiment Stamps, inked in Versafine Onyx Black, adhere with foam pads.

Apologising that is… I feel like I'm always apologising for forgetting this blog. I promise I've not been lazing on a sunny beach, I have been working like crazy.
Doing lots for WOW! Embossing Powder now… including, dare I say it, their BLOG !!
Every month I run a challenge, you should have a look and this month there's a 'post a comment to win' thing going on !!!

See… I have been busy, and there's lots more where they came from but they're under wraps at the mo !!!

CHA - The pictures

It always seems a bit surreal when you're back home from a show, as the days you're out there go SO fast, you really don't have time to think, it's crazy !!!
And CHA, or if I'm being correct, Creativation, was no exception. From the minute we got on the stand at 9am you're there till 6pm, sometimes later if you're still talking to customers and the only chance you get to 'wander' is when you need the loo !!!
So my shots are of stands on route to said loo !!! With the exception of Prima, where I managed to whizz over on the last day and meet my lovely friend Michelle who works for them and we exchanged some goodies.

My Minds Eye went pin wheel crazy...but not complaining, just look at those colours and designs, lots of stationery rolls !!

Fab Scraps had these mannequins all over their booth, showing their fabulous ranges !!

WRMK have gone all out on the sewing, just look at those pastel sewing machines, even if you couldn't sew, you'd just want one in your room, right !!!

Always got to have a bit of Heidi love !!!

Without sounding rude, I'm not familiar with these guys, but their stand

looked so pretty in real life.

Soft crafts seem to be the order of the day, my photos don't do this justice, the colours were amazing, trust me :).

And here's our lovely neighbours...Bo Bunny, just love these guys they really are the best neighbours to have at a show, constant smiles and hugs, you can't ask for more than that !!

And last but not least, here's a little bit of us... we launched 20 new powders, 15 new Premium Glitters and 4 new stamp designs. And do you know what.... they loved them YAY !!!

So now I get a couple of days rest and then it's off to Frankfurt to do it all again !!!

Is it just me or are others having a nightmare with Blogger and uploading photos ??? The amount of posts I've written only to delete a bit later when the photos wouldn't post.... so frustrating !!!
Anyhoo's, I think I've Sussed it. But it's not been all bad as it gave me time to play ....
I'm really enjoying being a Stampin Up Demonstrator, now I don't have the shop I have the freedom to do this :), along with all my other things.
And play I did.... here's a few of my latest makes, there's nothing like new products to get your creativity flowing....

If anyone wants any info on Stampin Up just contact me and I'll happily help, as best I can.
Off to CHA on Thursday with WOW! Embossing Powders so hopefully, now I've sorted this I'll be able to blog more.

OK…. be honest, who remembers 'Spoils' the kitchen shop ?
I certainly do … and my favourite thing about it was all the miniature kitchen utensils.
The tiny little scoops and the dinky little grater - I just loved them and would buy them and never use them but they looked cute !!!
Well I still love dinky - along with non-dinky, I have to say as my husband is 6' 4" … but there is something about small things, puppies, kittens etc…although I do draw the line at chocolate, that should NEVER be dinky.
It was this love that got me thinking, I love designing and creating stencils (I've really got into Art Journalling lately) so I decided to create some mini stencils I've called Dinkies…. You can check them out HERE, but here's one to whet your appetite, I hope you like them as much as I do.
And this time round they're getting used, not like my mini grater !!!

GETTING COLOURFUL ....

I'm very fortunate that I have some fabulous friends in this industry. And although we're all incredibly busy we get to meet up every so often.
From the possie of Leandra Franich, Julie Hickey, Paula Pacual, Emma Godfrey, Jo Firth Young and Lin Brown, only three of us were able to meet last week, namely Emma and Paula, although we missed the other guys, it didn't stop us eating, chatting and playing for the day.
It started with Paula sharing some of her lovely new Tonic products.... You absolutely need the pearlescent pastes .... They're gorgeous ....
Then off to the pub for a rather satisfying lunch, then back to mine where we put Emma on the spot...'show us some art journaling......... Pleeeeease'
And of course, Emma being Emma duly obliged, so out came my PaperArtsy paints and stamps along with my stencils and inks.... After being taught step by step, I can honestly say I'm hooked.... So much so that today after the gym myself and the lovely Polly came back and created.... I 'played' and came up with this.... Sorry, I didn't get photos of Pol's...next time.

I even stitched a border .... I have to say using Emma's stamps makes it an easy task, then I added a few of my own from WOW Embossing Powder, some grunge paste, embossing and stencils and .... TA DAH !!!!
My previous one today was this little gem...... I think I like circles LOL !!!

I'm working it in my Dyan Reavley book....nice thick pages :)

It's a shame you can't see the pearliness going on...... Lush !!!

So I'll be getting my paints out more...good job I've got loads !!

I was first shown this technique a while back by Emma Godfrey from Imagine That Papercrafts, she showed me the technique with black ink, so I thought…Hmmmm…. I'm going to try it with paint…so I grabbed my favourite PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk paints and gave it a go…. I loved the result….Hope you enjoy the video…
Ooooh nearly forgot to say, after the quickest sell out in the history of sell outs the WOW INK PAD is back in stock. Woo hoo !!! Along with some more WOW newbies…
