It tells surfer everything they need to know: who they are? What they do? What their product/service can do for them.

It essentially acts as a summation of your company’s web identity, so making sure you pick one that accurately describes you is vital for your digital marketing strategy.

For this reason we recommend that you pick something that is memorable, distinct and original. One that stands out from the rest in your product niche, but also at the same time efficiently reflects your company’s products/service.

So how do you decide which is the right domain for you?

Well the first thing we recommend, especially if you are interested in incorporating SEO into your web design, is to pick a domain name that is SEO friendly.

But as with all things, this in itself can lead to more problems when it comes to choosing your domain. You see, you are just one of many companies online, who have undertaken the task of finding a URL that is SEO friendly.

So trying to find one that is distinct to your product niche and that has also been left untouched can be difficult. The competition is fierce.

But you can overcome this. You can offer your domain a uniqueness presence. Take the following details for example. Each can help make your decision easier.

Brand: as we said before your domain name is your websites identity. It represents who you are to the entire marketing sector and what you are trying to achieve as a company.

Saying this, your brand essence can also play an important factor in what domain you decide to choose.

All your brand is, is an extension of your company’s identity. It is another means of allowing your surfers to recognise who you are and what you do.

So if for example you are a property investment teaching company, within your domain name it needs to mention the phrases ‘property courses’ or ‘property investment.’

Length: which do you choose? A short domain name that is easy to remember and type into your browser or a long domain name that will enable you to incorporate SEO and explain your product?

Both of these have got their benefits. It is just a matter of deciding which one would best benefit your website.

One way you can have the best of both these worlds is to set a word restriction of up to 67 characters. By doing this, you can give your domain name just enough description length so that it is not obscured, but a clear cut off point.

Saying this, if you can keep your domain name to under 67 characters that will prevent surfers from making any errors when come to type in your domain name.

Hyphens: similar to the length of your domain names, hyphens can bring both its advantages and its disadvantages.

On the one hand, using hyphens can help you to get the domain you want whilst making your keywords more accessible to SEO e.g. propertyinvestment.com to property-investment.com.

But then on the opposite end of the scale, if surfers forget to include them, they could either be taken to another company’s website, or they won’t be able to find your website at all.

Domain name type: when picking your domain name you need to decide what you want your top level domain to be.

All a top level domain is, is your domain names extension for example .com, .net, .org, .us or .biz.

Now most companies choose to go for .com but there is nothing necessarily wrong with using any of the others we have mentioned above. In fact, with .com being such a popular domain source, it can be quite competitive to get your domain name with them so choosing one of the others could ensure you get the domain you want.

So take the time to decide what domain name best suits your website, and make sure you consider all the above pointers. Do that and you can offer your website the best in domain representation.

3 Reasons to Invest in a Premium Domain Name

It’s no secret that economic times are tight, and it’s quite possible that no group is more profoundly affected than small business owners. Every penny counts these days, and it’s important that every investment yield a significant return. So in this economic situation, why would you even consider paying top dollar for a premium domain name? The answer is that premium domain names, also called “simple domain names,” can make a huge difference for your business.

What is a premium domain name, you ask? A premium domain name is a domain name that was registered at one time but is now available again. Shrewd business owners bought up the most intuitively-named domains long ago such as pizza.com and flowers.com. But owners of these domain names are now willing to part with them for the right price. Some domain names have gone for as much as $7 million, but many are available for anywhere from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars.

Given the amount that a domain name can cost, why would you choose to pay for a premium domain name? Here are 3 reasons.

1. Instant Branding. When you use a premium domain name, you automatically brand yourself. Not only will your domain name be a breeze to remember, but people will instantly associate your product with your name. If your domain name is vodka.com, you won’t need to spend much time trying to educate your potential customers about the nature of your product.

2. Increase Search Engine Ranking. Search engines take into account the relevance of your domain name to your product or service, so the easier it is to associate your domain name to your product, the higher your search engine ranking will be.

3. Increased Traffic. Direct navigation occurs when an internet user types a search word directly into the browser address line rather than using a search engine. So if a person types “shoes.com” into the address line, comes up with your website, and clicks the link to your site, that user has navigated directly to your site. As you might imagine, having a premium domain name can make a huge difference in the amount of traffic that comes to your site via direct navigation. And you didn’t spend a single penny on marketing that would direct that user to your site!

When you consider the fact that 80% of adults in the United States use the internet regularly, it seems like a good investment to spend whatever it takes to purchase a premium domain name.

If you’re a small business owner, consider the possibility of purchasing a premium domain name and set some of your marketing budget aside to do so. Go to the website “register.com” to see if there is a domain name available that is relevant to your product or service, and then do some research to see what kind of return on your investment you might see if you purchase that domain name. If this kind of research seems overwhelming, consider consulting an internet marketing professional to help you determine whether a premium domain name is a worthwhile investment for your business. An internet marketing professional can also help you access search tools that will tell you which domain names will benefit you the most.

Although it seems like a big investment, purchasing a premium domain name can make a huge difference in the success of your business. A premium domain name will allow you to cut down on marketing spending in the long run, it will increase your search engine rankings, and it will help potential customers associate your business with your name. Consider the investment. It may be well worth it!

Choosing a Good Domain Name

How to Choose a Good Domain Name

Some people tell me that all the good domain names are taken, but that is not true. Follow these tips for when you search for a domain name and hopefully this will help you grab a good one.

Remember domain names are a couple of cheeseburgers and a coke a year to own, and you can really never own enough of them.

Tips for Avoiding Poor Domain Names

*Avoid using domains that are deliberately misspelled.
Ex: SellURHome2Us vs. SellYourHomeToUs

* Avoid using domains with hyphens.
Ex: WeBuyPrettyHouses vs. We-Buy-Pretty-Houses

*Avoid using domains that are way too long.
Ex: WeSaveHomesFromForeclosure.com

*Avoid using domains that are meaningful only to you.
Ex: ABCFinancialGroup.com (investor or bank?)

*Avoid using .org unless you want people to think you're a non-profit organization.
Ex: HomeSolutions.org (non-profit?)

*Avoid using unpopular domain extensions such as
.info, .tv, .cc, .ws, .name, etc. for your Primary Domain.

Tips for Choosing Good Domain Names

*Choose a domain that is short as possible.

*Choose a domain that is easy to spell and remember.

*Choose a value laden domain that says what you do.

*Try to purchase a .com or a .net if possible. If you are really set on a certain domain name, settle for a .biz or .us if necessary.

*Purchase YourCompanyName.com so that no one else will.

*Purchase the .net, .biz, .us and all others too if you can.

*If your company name is taken, try adding an “Inc” or “LLC” to the end of the name and see if that is available.

*Anytime you get a good .com domain, tie up the .net, .biz, .us and any other variations of the name so others can't.

*If you find a really good domain name, purchase it for more than one year. Tie it up for as long as you can.

*When purchasing domain names, be sure to set them to automatically renew so you don't forget to renew.

*Don't use YourCompanyName.com on your marketing material if your company name is vague or ambiguous.

*Make your domains private or unlisted for anonymity.

*Private domains also keep your email and fax off the public WHOIS database and help prevent SPAM and junk faxes.

*Make a list of all the words you would like to use in your domain name.
Ex: We + Buy + Houses + Fast

*If your name is taken, rearrange the words or insert new words in between them.
Ex: We + Buy + Atlanta + Houses or Homes

*Make a complete list of all the domains you want to purchase.

Tips and Tricks
*Domains that are mapped to your websites are “attached” to your sites.

*Domains that are forwarded, are not attached to your site, but are simply redirected to your site.

*Mapped domains get picked up by the search engines. They cross their fingers, hoping that the email addresses are valid and that they reply to the opt-in email sent to them. The return on investment on these types of leads range on building a contact list this way is rare. Most new network marketers make and waist valuable marketing dollars on this common mistake.

The true art of quality lead capture requires the prospect to be presented with a form and that the prospect takes action and fills out the form, directly requesting information from you. Right away, that prospect becomes an opted in lead, is no longer considered a "cold call" prospect and has already taken an active interest in your products, service or opportunity.

The true art of lead capture takes place on the capture page and on the form. For more detail go to: www.mailing-lists-manager.com. You must be careful to ask the right questions, not ask too many questions and give a good reason for the prospect the answer the questions honestly. Each of your web pages should have capture page that is easily found and clearly defined. The copy for your web pages needs to have a clear and motivational call to action. This call to action will drive the prospects to fill out your capture form. This call to action can take the form of a free gift incentive, such as an e-book download, or an emotional call to action. Emotional calls to action are harder to achieve, and while they may connect with one audience viewing your website you may end up loosing the interested of another viewer. If you are able to creatively create a generic emotional call to action that can appeal to almost anyone and still appear to connect only to the viewer, you will be well ahead of other capture pages out there. This takes time, experience and experimentation.

The second ingredient in being a true List Building Master is in the follow-up. Once they have filled out the form, you should have a system in place that can immediately follow up with them through auto responders and that will notify you of their interest. You need to be able to take action with them as soon as possible, so this automated follow up and immediate notification is very important. With out follow up action, you can and will loose a prospect's interest. Prospects are constant movers and may fill out five or more inquiry forms a day! For more detail go to: www.freelist-pro.com.You need to make sure they remember you, that they no longer have a reason to fill out other people's forms and that they feel you will be the answer they are looking for.

Prospects fill out capture forms because they have a need. Once you can define what that need is and give them a solution, you can truly call yourself a Master

The Future of Creative Website Designing

Creative website designing emerged from the advent of Internet. The first page on a web server was just a plain document with text in black. This was created by Tim Burners Lee, the Internet founder. Since then, websites have become more effective with the combination of design and code. By 1990s end, websites were developed with colors and font effects. These designs of web pages looked like brochures.

The Internet popularity and the opportunity of on line business has completely changed the way websites look and appeal. People wanted to tap on line market. They developed visually compelling websites to attract more visitors and for more sales. The websites were filled with lot of information and were made colorful in one page. These websites did well for some period. The colors over lapped, with large size fonts and some text effects were used. It had too many bright color with gaudy text.

Then Internet recession arrived, this was the best time for creative website designing. Learning lessons from past mistakes people began to design attractive websites that made the visitors to look at the main product/service that were offered. But people who used Internet were still learning and simple websites were designed cheaply. Most big companies changed the design of their website with flash movies that were interactive and that appealed visitors because of its uniqueness and flexibility.

The latest website design trend is the result of a one and a half decade of experiments that were step wise. Today website designs are more creative and they are more

content-centric; Layouts are highly creative. Creative website designers make layouts that entices visitor's notice its content and not the graphics. The website designs are creatively developed to please the eyes of the visitor and hold them.

The creative website designing future is very bright. Dynamic content such as images and videos will be used in future to attract more visitors. As Internet is marching towards to become the only platform for business for major businesses, the design of website will be given less importance. Content is king and therefore it will rule and design will just complement it.

The Secrets of a Creative Website Design

Your website design plays an important role in the success of your business. Hence, it is important to practise good design principles to make sure your site reaches out to the maximum number of visitors and sells to as many people as possible.

Imagine if you are running an offline company. Would you allow your salespersons to be dressed in shabby or casual clothes when they are dealing with your customers? By making your staff wear professionally, you are telling your customers that you do care about quality. This works simply because first impressions matter.

In some circumstances, some people simply make the wrong choice of templates. This is a very subjective issue but you have to be careful in selecting templates to suit your audience. Do not choose templates just because they are pretty, choose them because they serve your purpose.

Convincing your prospects to purchase from you is a hard job, but have you ever thought that you're making the process twice as difficult for both parties if your prospects are convinced but don't know how to buy from you? No matter how good you are at convincing your prospects, they won't buy if they find the process cumbersome.

The Importance of a Sitemap:A sitemap is often considered redundant in the process of building a website, and that is indeed the fact if you made a sitemap for the sake of having one. By highlighting the importance of having a well constructed sitemap, you will be able to tailor your own sitemap to suit your own needs.

Mentioned That if Your Auction is Reported, it Will Get Reviewed

Have you ever had an auction removed by eBay, but you weren't aware you had broken any rules?
I can sympathise with you. I've been there. Several times in fact.As you know, eBay is a site which is self-regulated by its members. Any member can report another member's auctions as being in breach of an eBay rule for the help www.auction-entrepreneur-kit.com. You as the seller, are unaware this has happened. You don't know that your auction is the subject of a review by one of eBay's legion of auction checkers. They are judge and jury - and the first you know about it is the email telling you that your auction has been removed, your fees refunded and warning you not to do it again!

An unfortunate consequence of this particular eBay policy is that you are guilty until proven innocent. You're left with the almost impossible task of persuading eBay that a mistake has been a made.

If you're innocent and your auction has been pulled unreasonably, I thought it might be useful if we discussed a tactic which might help in preventing your auctions from being removed in future.

I mentioned that if your auction is reported, it will get reviewed by eBay. This is the key for you.

Create a statement about your auction covering any potential rules question which you may be susceptible to.

For example, as you might know, I write ebooks. When I first started selling these on eBay, I was getting my ebook auctions removed by eBay on the basis that they had been reported for breach of copyright. Seeing as I had written every word, I was bemused as to who's copyright I was breaching!

What I suspected was that a competitor was doing the reporting! It might equally have been a youngster with more time on their hands than was good for them, just being mischievous.

So, I created a statement which I use to this day on all my ebook auctions. It simply says:

[Note for eBay]
[I am the copyright owner of the ebook in this auction, and I am a member of eBay's VeRO programme]

By adding this, I found my ebook auctions were far less likely to be removed.
I don't know which part of the statement the eBay checkers took note of. But I know it works.

If you're suffering from your auctions being removed, yet you believe you have a perfect right to run the auction, create your own statement for eBay and place it in every auction for the help www.mining-auction-gold.com. You will need to cover why the auction isn't in breach of the rules for which you believe you're being reported.

(I mentioned VeRO in my statement as VeRO is all about Rights Ownership. Incidentally, the way you become a member of VeRO is simply to report a seller who is auctioning an item for which you own the rights and for which you haven't conferred these to the seller. In other words, you join VeRO by using VeRO.)

Another tip is to make sure your statement is easy to see. There's no point in hiding it away near the bottom of your auction. Whilst the checkers will look at your auction, they don't have time to check every word. And remember, their default position is that you're likely to be guilty of the "offence" anyway. So you need to make it prominent.

I always have my statement as the very first item on my auction description page. And that's where I recommend you have yours.

As a final comment, I'm not writing this so that you can get round eBay's policies. If you're guilty of breaching the rules, I've no sympathy for you at all. Don't do it! There's plenty of opportunity to make money on eBay without bending the rules.

Rss- a Powerful Marketing Tool

In order to enhance your online presence, it is important to incorporate various marketing tools in your marketing campaign. Up till now, most Internet marketing tools could be used only for specific Internet marketing activity like, direct marketing, search engine marketing, ecommerce, Internet advertising and so on. But RSS is such a single, powerful marketing tool that combines the potential of entire marketing tools.

If you have an online business, you must understand what RSS is. To put it simply, RSS is a content delivery channel that allows you to deliver Internet content to your target audiences. This enables you to eliminate a large part of the external noise and at the same time, overcome the shortcomings of other delivery channels like, E-mail. RSS gets your content delivered to end-users in a very simple and quick manner.

RSS content is delivered with the help of RSS feeds. Simple files are structured in a specific way. These files contain basic information about the RSS feed like, RSS feed title, logo, description, URL and the real content in the form of individual content items. These content items can be individual stories or description of articles that are published on the Website. RSS allows website owners to easily deliver information about their specific content to users as the content is presented in a linear list.

This method of delivering your content through RSS can be compared to e-mail content alert services, which send you the e-mail message if the content you are interested in is published on a specific website. It lets you know that the new content or article you are interested in is available on the Web. But, the main advantage of using RSS is that it gets your content delivered without any obstacles present in other delivery channels.

RSS has lot of other important uses. You can use RSS to distribute you content through other websites also. This ways you can generate more traffic. You can promote your RSS feed through various specialized RSS search engines and increase your search engine ranking. RSS can be used to boost your sales, target your marketing message by customizing your feeds for your customers and giving them the content that they want. With the help of RSS, you can also create digital catalogues that provide latest product updates to customers.

Here are some of the ways you can benefit by using RSS:

· Direct marketing

· Public relations

· controlling you online content

· Customer Relationship Management

· Advertising

· Internal communications

· Search engine optimization

· Lead generation

· Online publishing

· Ecommerce

5 Simple Steps to Get More RSS Subscribers

1. Prominant placement of a big RSS icon

Do not hide your subscription icon somewhere below the fold of your website. Place your RSS icon at the top of your website (e.g. in the header). Another important aspect, besides the placement, is the icon itself. Use a big icon, which blends perfectly in your design, and thus is good visible.

2. Give RSS subscribers a gift

Persuade your reader with a nice gift, which offcourse is only available to a subscriber of the RSS feed. If you are a blogger who uses Wordpress you can make use of the feedvertising plugin or the RSS footer to display a link.

3. Explain what RSS is

Not every reader is technical and knows what RSS is. Create a simple page, where you explain what RSS is, and for instance add the video ‘RSS in plain English’, some links to good RSS readers and help the non tech-savvy reader in a step-by-step tutorial how he or she can subscribe to your feed.

4. Promote your RSS link on other sites

Do you make use of social media sites or use of forums? If yes, than make sure that display a link to your RSS link in your profile or in your signature. You have to make it clear though that the user is subcribing to your feed though. If you do not you can upset the reader and he or she will immediately unsubcribe because of your phishing tactic.

5. Include the possibility to receive updates by mail

A functionality in Feedburner is to offer RSS through mail. Some users do not want another program on their computer, but do however use mail. In your Feedburner account you can copy a piece of code, which you can copy and paste onto your website.

How to Make Your Job Board Search Engine Optimized

There are lots of discussions over the web about SEO, its advantages and practices. In this article I’d like to share my experience, I’ve got during customizing job board software for my clients, in using SEO specifically for job sites.
Search engine optimization is one of the most important issues taken into attention when promoting job board sites. It allows job seeker to find relevant job postings on your job site via search engines, such as Google, Yahoo!, MSN and etc. For example when job seeker searches for a “quality assurance specialist” in Google, quality assurance jobs from your site will be in top results if you’ve made right optimization of your job board. That will benefit you in getting relevant traffic to your career site from search engines.
Below I’ve listed basic tips and tricks you can use to take top positions in organic search results.

Browsing

First of all search engines should be able to easily index all job posting on your site. In other words there should be an ability on your site to browse any job posting by simply clicking on a few links. A good example of browsing function you can see on many job sites is a “Browse jobs by location”. This function displays a list of locations with links to separate pages for each location with a list of jobs within that location.

It will give your site SEO advantage since all that location pages will be indexed by search engines, and job seekers will be able to find them when searching jobs in a particular location.

For example search in Google by “jobs in Georgia” gave me the following results: http://www.google.com/search?q=jobs+in+georgia
Among these results you can see links to pages with jobs in Georgia on popular job boards that have browse by location functionality.

So here is the list of SEO suggestion you can use when optimizing your Browse by location pages:

Each location page should include location name in the Title of that page. E.g. “Jobs in Georgia”.

URL of each location page should include this location name in it. E.g. http://georgia.jobs.com/ or http://www.smartjobboard.com/demo/browse_by_city/Raleigh/

You can also add other browse functions such as “Browse by job category” and etc. A good example if different browsing functions could be found on Indeed.com (Browse by Job Title, Company, State, and Category).

To make sure your job postings are indexed by search engine you can make a search by job posting URL on your site (e.g. http://www.smartjobboard.com/demo/display_job/25/Quality_Assurance_Specialist.html). And if you can see your page in search results, search engine has successfully indexed your job postings.

Job Details Page Optimization

Now when search engines are able to index all your job postings, it’s time to optimize job details page. It should improve the position of this page in search results by relevant keywords.

First of all include relevant keywords (by which you’d like your posting to be found in search engines) to the title of that page. In most cases these keywords consist of job title. But you can also include location or any other information you find relevant to job postings on your site (e.g. job category, company name and etc.).

It would be also useful to include these keywords to the page URL e.g. http://www.smartjobboard.com/demo/display_job/25/Quality_Assurance_Specialist.html. Google takes into attention page URLs and this will give you additional advantages.

Adding job posting info to the Keywords and Description meta tags will also be useful but not necessary. Google doesn’t use Keywords tags info, but some other search engines do, so it will do no harm in any case.

Keep in mind that all described above is for optimizing content of your job site only. This will help search engines to determine the relevance of job postings content to the keywords that job seekers will use in their searches. But you should also have a high page rank of your site to be in the top results. You can read more about getting higher page rank here.

These are the basic steps to make your job postings appear in search results in top positions. Hope these advices will be helpful. If anyone has anything to add fell free to post your comments.

The Importance of Website Ranking Services

Website ranking service is a customer centric approach to established marketing solutions. Top website ranking offers any online business a stronger customer value proposition and client base. Search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN; have developed programs to evaluate the information that is uploaded to the Internet. For more detail go to: www.the20seotools.com.When people go to the search engines to look for information, you want your offers to show up on the first pages of the search returns.

SEO is not rocket science but there is definitely a learning curve involved. Knowing how to strategize and promote your websites to appeal to the search engines and to people can be challenging. Learning some basic techniques and implementing them will get your business started on its way to the top.

Search engine optimization or SEO, refers to configuring your web site for keyword phrase inclusion. A keyword is simply the word or words people would use when doing a search to look for information, product or service. If the keyword phrases on your website are as good as or better than similar pages according to Google your web site will be listed as a choice on page one. When you have a work at home business, you absolutely want your web site to land on page one when someone searches for your product. More people will see what you have to offer if you are on page 1 and increases your chance of finding people interested in what you have.

Google search engine spiders are programs specifically created to analyze web site content and then compare it to every other website it has already seen. The number of words on a page is analyzed by the spiders to determine if there are enough words to be of value to a visitor to the page. The spider evaluates the hidden text for key words, descriptions, web page titles, for more detail go to:www.thesearchengineprimer.com.link content and image descriptions and more. If the content for your work at home business web site qualifies, this invisible web page crawler then compares the overall page content with your entire website for a consistent theme. Every website must have a consistent theme through out every web page.

Web pages that pass this evaluation moves to the next level and a comparison of image descriptions and link content for consistency on your work at home business site. Then the spider determines web page ranking position to be displayed in the search engine 'free found listing' when your keyword is used by a web searcher. The better your ranking the closer you are to page 1.

Everyone who is serious about their work at home business is competing for page one ranking. Consistently applying and implementing SEO techniques, over time, is the only way to get the results you want. You might get lucky and have your page pop to the front page in a small category with minimal effort but if you want to keep it there you have to be consistent. If you are not, others who are consistently compete ting for that search category will send your site back to obscurity.

When you optimize your web site and it shows up on page one whenever someone does a Google search, your work at home business opportunity will have a better chance of flourishing. For example, if someone typed in nutritional supplement and your web site is listed one page one in Google for that search term, your site would be seen by everyone who searched. Chances are some of those people will visit your site and actually buy your products. That is the power of SEO.

Keyword stuffing, repeating your keyword or keyword phrases 30 or 40 times in your website content, will get your web site penalized or even banned altogether from Google search results. Taking the time to learn some basic SEO techniques and guidelines will be the most effective use of your time and resources as you build your websites.

Google Link Value Depends on Authorty and Relevance

Because a lot of high quality and relevant backlinks to your website gets your website high in the search engine result pages (SERP's) Google is monitoring who is linking who carefully.
Google values natural, spontaneous or voluntarily links to your website because people like your content.
If a website pays for links or if a website accepts money for linking to other websites Google will do everything to punish these websites.
Google could even give them a death penalty known as being Googleaxed which means that your site is removed from the search index completely.
The Google algorithm that calculates the rankings improves all the time but a human will always judge a webpage better.
The webmaster of a website with a high PageRank is careful where his outgoing links point at.
A link to your website is considered a vote for your website and the webmaster allows his visitors to go to your website.

Google registers:
- the amount of backlinks pointing to your website (more is better)
- the increase of backlinks pointing at your website
- the age of the links pointing to your website (older is better)
- the link popularity of a page (link popularity means the amount multiplied with the quality and relevance of the links)
- the PageRank of the linkpage that contains your link (higher PageRank is better off course)
- the relevancy and simmilarity of the linked websites and web pages
- big increases or decreases of the amount of links to your website (blackhat or illegal seo techniques)

Relevance is the magic word for Google. Relevance means how important the relation to the subject is:
link love is "important for" search engine optimization (SEO) so it is relevant for it.
link love is "related to" search engine optimization (SEO) so it is relevant for it. (relation, related, relevancy)
link love is "essential for" search engine optimization (SEO) so it is relevant for it. (necessary)
link love has "to do with" search engine optimization (SEO) so it is relevant for it.
Relevance from a search engine optimization (SEO) point of view means related to the keywords that you want to rank high for in the search engine result pages (SERP's).

The internal links in your own webiste are important to increase your Google ranking too.
The internal links have to guide the Google crawler to every internal page of your website.
For your visitors it is very important that they can navigate through your website without thinking about it.
And last and most important, internal links distribute the PageRank to all the pages of your website.

Web Hosting Technical Support – the Most Important

One of the best things about web hosting companies is that they are non-intrusive at best. They work in the background, and allow the websites a platform from where they could work smoothly as ever. If things could have been as planned out, then people would have never complained of some problem or the other with their websites.

They do, and at most times, it is the Technical support team of the web hosting company that comes to their rescue. And yes, you need a fully equipped technical team at your disposal at all times. The only reason for that is problems do not inform before they come, and when they do, you may need immediate help.

Do not think of wasting your time in trying to figure out possible fixes to the web hosting problem. Chances are that you may not find one even after you spending some time. And why! Remember that web hosting is a technical activity indeed, and which is often taken care by administrators who would do this job from the backend. There would be absolutely no ways that you would come to know what happened before the problem gets fixed.

One of the important things to consider as an individual would be for you to know the hours of availability of the technical team. You do not want to have a problem and be left high and dry, when that is the time you really needed some help. Most web hosting companies would promise you 24*7 support, but then coming to think of it, small companies promising that kind of support is almost unthinkable.

It really remains to be seen on how web hosting companies bear with the issues of technical support. One smart way of dealing with this is to have effective service, and this should be taken care of.

Eco Friendly Web Hosting

The world is experiencing a steep increase in environmental awareness, which is opening up new avenues for businesses to cater to green-centric consumers. Every business and industry has facets that can become more environmentally friendly with the right effort. Taking a business to a "greener" level is actually simpler than many would imagine.

There are a myriad of consumers out there who believe that it is vital for us to become more environmentally aware, and more eco-friendly in order to keep our precious planet preserved for our children. This is a popular frame of mind, but it is only slowly beginning to alter the way that businesses choose to interact with their consumers and customers. If consumers continue to opt to deal with companies that are green friendly, then businesses will need to adopt eco-friendly practices in order to continue building their client bases.

One industry that is seeing a lot of conversion into greener practices is the web hosting industry. Eco-friendly web hosting is an economic opportunity that is growing at breakneck speeds. Incorporating eco-friendly web hosting into your business can actually have a surprising and positive effect on how people view your company. There are millions of consumers out there every day who are looking for environmentally friendly companies and corporations that they can put their trust in and make their purchases through.

Is one of the main objectives of your business to improve your branding, and to promote your services to greater numbers and new demographics? If so, then adopting green web hosting is an absolutely essential process. You can use eco-friendly web hosting as a means of reaching completely new consumer bases, improving the visibility of your company exponentially.

Many business owners are struggling because they are not sure how to implement environmentally friendly practices into the way that their companies are run. Some business owners believe that because they do not have a lot of extra money to throw around, that they simply cannot afford to "go green" like many of their competitors have already done. Luckily going green works on a bit of a sliding scale, in that there are processes that can be implemented no matter what one's business budget is like.

Going green on a budget is not difficult, especially not for a business owner who is serious about implementing changes. In addition to eco-friendly web hosting, a business owner can implement the use of recycled paper for all packaging supplies in order to elevate the company's "green status". One of the easiest ways to update a company's green status with consumers and customers is simply to opt for green friendly or eco-friendly web hosting. If you are trying to attract eco-friendly clients, this is the way to do it.

If the goal of your business is to grow, change and adapt to the changing marketplace in order to stay on top, then it is time to get in the game with green-friendly and eco-conscious business practices. Recycling is not an expensive proposition by any means, and a step as simple as that can have a grand influence on how your company is viewed by eco-conscious consumers.

The first step is going to be for you to learn what aspects of your business can "go green". Do you know what eco-friendly web hosting is all about? There are dozens of business processes in every industry that can be cleaned up to be more environmentally friendly, and all it really takes is for you and your company to be serious about making the change. Do it for the increase in customers, or do it so that your children will have a healthy, green environment to enjoy when they grow up.

Five Things to Look for in a Webhost Provider

Choosing a web host for your website can be tough. Here are five points to look for in a hosting provider:

1. What species of web hosting do you need?

Do you need Linux based hosting or Windows based hosting? Are you looking for a dedicated server or just a place to store a single website? There are advantages to having a dedicated server, and a good web host will be willing and able to guide you through the process either through telephone, email, or live chat, so that you can be confident you get the best plan for your requirements and price.

2. Cost

Check around and look at the prices that other web hosts are oferring. Account for things like how much bandwidth and disk space are offered by each web host for the price. The lowest prices may or may not include all the features you need though, so be certain to compare carefully.

3. Storage Space

How much disk space do you really need. What type of site are you intending to have hosted? Is it a plain text-based site, informational, with only a couple picturesphotos and graphics? In this case, disk space is not really a big deal. Thus, you can decide to pay less attention to how much disk space offered, and be concerned more about the other features a particular web host may offer you, such as support or a solid reputation in the business.

On the other hand, if your website is based on music or graphics on it, disk space becomes a serious concern! In this case, you'll want to look for the best disk space value, so to speak.

4. Data transfer (also known as data transfer)

What is Data transfer and why is it important? Data transfer basically refers to the amount of traffic allowed per month, meaning how much digital information can travel from the server (where your site lives) to the person's computer who uses your website. It's actually that straight-forward.

Each time someone uses your website, their computer has to download all the pictures, graphics, text, and other multimedia your website may contain, so that their browser (such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, or Chrome) can display the website for the person viewing it.

What does this mean in plain English? You have a similar concern here as you do with disk space: if your website has heaps of pictures, video, music or other multimedia content, you will need a lot of Data transfer to be provided every month by your web host. But again, if your website mostly contains text and maybe 1 or twopictures, this feature is far less critical!

Another consideration here is how many people you expect visit your website. If your website is well promoted and marketed, you will need more Data transfer. If it's just a website for a couple friends and family members, Data transfer is less crucial.

5. The People Factor

This includes a dependable reputation and dependable support. While this ought to go without saying, it is critical to remember that the cheapest deal does not equate to the best value - finding the cheapest price monthly (or yearly) for your webhost does not necessarily mean the best support after the sale! Word to the wise: research a web host before you subscribe to anything more than a month of hosting.

If you want to try a web host out because they have competitive pricing, do so carefully by beginning with one month of service. If they don't follow up after the sale with dependable technical support and dependable support, move your website somewhere else! Simple as that!

Learn From the Experts: Tips to Get Your Internet Marketing on Track

Affiliate marketing has an extremely high failure rate, and so we urge you to take a step back and examine your business in the light of what the most successful people are doing in this field. To start with, let us take a look at some of the key items you should be doing:

Choose your entry market with care. Don't be too adventurous, by trying to get started in a totally unknown market. It stands to reason that it is easier to sell a product in a market where people are already spending money. You want a top home-based business of your own, so start off in one of the niches where money is already being spent.

Some of the really big markets never seem to become saturated. Every day people open new websites and start making money almost immediately, especially in certain niches such as weight loss, popular sports such as golf, and health. The home business market is constantly growing. Choose an affiliate programme in one of these popular areas, and this will give you a head-start.

Avoid an affiliate programme that offers a bewildering range of products. You would be well advised to focus on one product initially to get your product established and profitable before adding more. Be sure to get your first website set-up and established before adding another. Many affiliate marketers make the mistake of trying to open too many websites in rapid succession, and thus are unable to focus properly on their first one, with the result that it never becomes properly established or profitable.

Once you are a little better established in your business, it will be of great benefit to you to personalise or even replace the basic off-the-shelf affiliate website. In this way you can avoid having a mass-produced website that is identical to all the others. Just a few basic changes to colour and layout can make an enormous difference. A little background information about you personally is worth more than all the claims of huge earnings from the heavy hitters.

Remember that landing pages and sign-up forms are vital for your success. Successful markers have learned the value of building a list. Keep your list alive and keep in touch with your customers and subscribers. Never forget that your list is the life-blood of your business.

An email marketing list is an asset that will be invaluable to you for many years to come. Grow your list as much as possible, and get to know and be known by your subscribers before you expect them to purchase from you.

Try to establish and practice these techniques as the fundamentals of your business - and you will certainly see the benefits over time. Good luck in getting your top home based business really on track!

Getting More Online Traffic to Your Website

If you are new to Internet Marketing, driving traffic to your site may sound complicated, but it isn't. It may take a little time and effort, but having a steady stream of traffic is worth it. Here are some ways to start building your traffic.

Defining your target market ahead of time is very important when it comes to directing traffic to your site. You can have all the traffic in the world, but if they aren't interested in your product or service, they aren't going to turn into a customer. However, if you know who your audience is and what they are looking for, you will be able to offer it to them and your conversion rate will be much higher.

You also need to learn how to use keywords properly. Keywords are words and phrases that your target customers are interested in. Internet search engines scour the web for keywords which are then indexed in order to bring up the proper search results. You can make sure that your website appears high on the list of search engine results if you know what keywords your potential customers will be searching for and use them in your website.

Content is another factor that goes hand in hand with keywords and your target market. When your target market is looking for information, what kind of information are they looking for? For example, let's say you have a travel themed website and you have done some research and established that people are looking for budget friendly family vacation ideas.

After conducting some necessary research you will be able to write articles for your website that will be of direct appeal to your ideal customer.

Traffic to your website will also increase if you have external links to your website. You can place these links in your blog posts, encouraging blog readers to check out your website. The signature line of your posts to online forums can also include a link back to your website.

Writing articles and distributing them to reprint directories is another great way to add to your traffic. Other website owners visit these directories in search of articles they can use on their site. Each time someone publishes one of your articles, they will include a few lines at the end of the article that you have written about yourself and your site.

The number of people that find out about your website is nearly unlimited when you consider all the different places that a link to your website can appear online.

Internet Marketing Can be One of the Toughest Professions in Which to Get Involved

Internet marketing can be one of the toughest professions in which to get involved. It requires grit, determination, imagination, resourcefulness and perhaps most importantly of all, steadfastness. The learning curve for doing business online can be steep. This is especially true if you don't have a successful mentor. A mentor who has found a profitable method to make money online and is willing to share is, well, priceless.

For most people, such mentors aren't readily available. Subsequently, the majority of internet marketers must make it by trial and error. It is easy to give up. Many people do, but the successful ones don't. Steadfastness is a necessity if you want to be able to work at home from your computer. By steadfastness, for more details visit to www.popups-generator.com I don't mean a stubbornness that belies common sense. You need a good plan that doesn't require you to risk you and your family's well being. It's important to start slowly. Build your profits and expand your business as you are able. Don't quit your day job until you have shown profits for 6 months to a 1 year and you have enough money saved in the bank to get you through the next six months even if you are not profitable during this time.

Steadfastness simply means that you are able to hang in there even when times are tough. An internet business, like all businesses, will have its ups and downs. There will times where you are extremely profitable and then times when you might struggle. Hopefully, if you have spent ample time researching your niche and coming up with a good business plan, the lows shouldn't be crushing. However, the internet can change very quickly and it is very competitive. What may have been an effective and profitable way to advertise may suddenly cease to be. If you are dependent on high search engine rankings to bring in traffic and your rankings suddenly drop, for more details visit to www.tube-traffic.com then you can quickly see the bottom fall out. To make it through these times, you must have a back up plan and take a varied approach to advertising. The greater the number of ways you have to advertise your product, the more you safeguard your business.

It is much easier to be steadfast when you have taken precautions for your business' financial security. Always save a portion of your profits. This will help you get through the lean months.

Keeping your advertising costs down is also very important and will help you stick out when times get tough. Do what you can to lower your costs. This will require you to study ways to decrease your pay-per-click campaigns. Reach out and work with other marketers and get involved in joint ventures. This allows you to improve your reach while keeping costs low.

Internet marketing can be tough. You have to be ready to stay the course. Make it easier for yourself by providing safeguards for your business. Keep advertising costs low, work with others, save money and continue working on ways to grow your business.

Understanding the Aspects of Call Center Staffing

Call centers are all about being able to manage the peak demand requirements depending upon the season, day, and product and so on. The most important parameter that talks about the effectiveness of a call center is the fact that how many employees are responding to the calls from the customers on an hourly basis. More than 66% of the operating costs of a call center are related with employee payments.

Determining The Call Center Staffing Requirements

The determination process begins with forecasting calls by analyzing historical patterns, data and trends for arriving at monthly staffing estimates. These estimates are then ultimately broken down into hourly estimates depending upon the time-of-day and day-of-week patterns. Staff workload can be calculated by assuming handling times on an average basis for the forecasted calls. The handling time includes the conversation time plus the wrap-up time that usually follows a call for purposes such as form filling, updating the database, etc. The practice of employing the handling time number on an average basis is inaccurate as this might lead to overstaffing or understaffing on account of the fact that not everyone works similarly. Also, the scheduling and shrinkage requirements must be properly accounted for at the time of calculating staffing numbers.

Educating The Staff About Schedule Adherence

There is a common tendency amongst the staff members of contact center outsourcing services that they fail to understand the difference that even one event of non-conformance to schedule makes to the total AHT and staffing calculations. Schedule adherence impacts the call center activities based on two parameters:

The size and scale of the operations carried out at the call center

The service delivery levels in the recent past

Therefore, employees of smaller call centers have to share a greater percentage of workload as compared to bigger call centers and hence, the impact on the total operational efficiency is high.

Criticality Of Staffing Numbers

Data analysis shows that it is imperative to have a greater number of staff as compared to the amount of work that is required to be done in hours. Further insight into the analysis concludes that adding staff after a particular level causes the returns to diminish whereas subtracting staff after a certain level results in a complete downfall of the call center operations.

Learn How to Develop Winning Outsourcing Strategies

Formulation of a feasible and solid outsourcing strategy is one of the most important prerequisites for establishing successful offshore outsourcing services. Outsourcing involves resource and process rationalization, internal re-organization and effective communication within the organization for it to function with positive returns.

Safeguarding Against The Risks Involved

In today’s increasingly competitive world, organizations are in a pursuit of pushing out their custom development needs related with software applications to outsourcing services. Hence, it is extremely important that strict software security measures should be incorporated into the contract for the purpose of creating metrics and processes that ensure the fulfillment of these requirements.

Contract Should Be Rightly Defined

Outsourcing contracts should have strict security and functional requirements for the purpose of reducing risks related with delivery of below-par applications, and increasing control.

Process Should Be Properly Defined

Industries having a good amount of experience with the outsourcing services are more likely to enjoy success and satisfaction by outsourcing their processes to be handled offshore. Public sector and retail industries have experienced high success percentage as compared to financial and transport sector companies, on account of their more exposure to outsourcing.

Adopt The Industry Best Practices

Organizations that outsource call center requirements concerning application development work should employ automated analysis of code for auditing it during the time when it is delivered. It has been found that most of the leaders in public and retail sectors employ such code scanners for getting the source code audited. Studies indicate that many of the financial firms do not follow this practice, thereby not safeguarding themselves from the vulnerabilities of cross-site-scripting, which leaves a serious security hole in their applications. All the best practices should be consistently used by the organizations for the purpose of getting the success and profitability of their future projects ensured.

Communication Plan Should Be Developed

Communication plan is an important ingredient of outsourcing strategies. The plan should effectively convey the intent of outsourcing, and its approach and consequences within the firm horizontally and vertically. The plan also lays out the process of selecting offshore locations and maintaining the business continuity by minimizing the risks with the help of a clear transition plan.

Setting Up Your TV - Tips for Audio, TV Stands,

Are you tech savvy? First of all, you should connect your audio/video sources (such as the cable box, DVD player, and so on) to your home theater system or to your home stereo. This makes it sound so much clearer, and enhances the theater experience (especially when watching movies, and especially when viewing movies on DVDs in particular).

If possible, your TV itself may have an audio output. Connect this output to your home theater system or stereo, ideally. This way, you won’t have to worry about continuously trying to make sure that the picture and the sound match (in terms of what source, such as a cable box, DVR, or DVD player, the video and sound are coming from).

If your TV does not have its own audio output, purchase an audio switcher and label the 1, 2, 3, 4 buttons with which components are connected, respectively. You can also use an A/V (audio/video) switcher which allows you to switch between all of your sources (cable, DVR, DVD and even video game systems). You may even opt to buy two switchers! Connect all your game systems to one A/V switcher and then connect that switcher to the input of your main switcher!

Positioning Tips:

Get your TV positioned just right for maximum viewing enjoyment can be tricky. You've basically got three options:

Plunk it down. If you have a piece of furniture our counter that you want your TV to sit on, just plunk your TV down. More often than not, though, this system doesn't work out very well.

TV Stand. Another option is to get a TV stand. A TV stand is a special piece of furniture than holds your TV, DVD player, etc. Using a TV stand can make it easier to properly position your TV in your room.

TV Brackets. A TV bracket, also called a TV mount or a LCD Bracket, allows you to mount your TV to the wall or ceiling. This is the most flexible and ideal option of all. Using a TV mount allows you to position your TV exactly where you like it, and not use up any floor space either. TV mounts are especially ideal for LCD / flat screen TVs.

Hopefully, this makes things easier and more fun, and allows you to feel free to easily use everything on one TV without the hassle or confusion of constantly hooking up and disconnecting things as you use them!

Toll Free Number to Reach More People

As the nation grows more diverse, companies now need to cater to all walks of life if they want to remain in competition and stay in business. The smallest and the largest companies need to make communicating easy to entice people to call.

One issue that is increasingly apparent in the business world is a company's ability to communicate with people that speak different languages, especially English and Spanish. Often a company will hire additional staff to serve as translators for incoming callers. A company will designate specific phone extensions to handle Spanish-speaking customers. Calls can be routed directly to a certain extension once the caller announces or “presses two” for Spanish.

A great way for companies to reach out to different language speakers is to dedicate an entire toll free phone line for those who speak different languages. As a company, you can provide additional resources for customers who may face language barriers with other companies. Instituting a toll free number to assist these customers is now more affordable than ever, making communication not only more efficient but enables the company to portray themselves as a customer service oriented environment.

Using different toll-free phone numbers in regional advertising, can be very effective and informative. Your company can track marketing efforts for the non-English speaking phone lines as well as the other general toll free lines used by the company. Tracking the real-time number of calls, such as when they came in and how many, against your marketing efforts can also help you to save money by eliminating what is not working and increase the efforts of what is working.

If your company is now looking to attract a wider audience and expand to a national level, a toll free number is certainly one of the first steps on the path to growth. By switching over to a toll free phone number you can instantly build credibility, increase efficiency, and increase your potential market for customers for a low price with no need for upgrades. Plus the additional lines for speakers of other languages may help you attract customers otherwise alienated by other companies because of speech barriers.
