My Crazy Student Life

I have been such a bad blogger and I am truly sorry about that!! It's seems all I have done that past week or so is run all around Liverpool and be stuck on the phone on hold from different places trying to sort out everything for returning to university. The student finance company has been the worst! I applied for my loans and grants back in the beginning of August, but the system didn't recognize my application so instead of flagging it for follow-up info it just ignored it - ugh!

Well, I started back on Wednesday, and I have to say this year sounds like it's going to be fun, and the best bit - the Forensic Law module that I was dreading having to take has been canceled!!

Now that you've been updated on my crazy student life, here's an update on all my scrappy stuffs!

Wow! I can't believe that it is September already - August just flew by!! My oldest, Ezzie started back at school today. He was so excited to be back, he really missed his school friends. And in 12 days I start back at university. It's going to be weird going back after taking a year off to be a SAHM, most of my friends that I started the course with have graduated, so it's going to be odd not seeing them and getting to know a whole new group. Not too mention that this will be the first time that I have spent considerable time away from Wyatt, I'm scared that I am going to miss so much. He just started sitting up, and now he's started pulling himself up to his knees.

Anywho... back to the scrapbooking stuff! It's Wednesday, so that means that the fairies have found some fab finds for you! Until Friday my both of my Just a Boy Mini Kits and my Templates 02 are just $1 each!

Correction to My Part of the Back 2 School Blog Train

I made a bit of an oopsies with one of the labels in my portion of the Back 2 School blog train. Apparently it's been so long since I have been a sophomore that I forgot how to spell sophomore lol! Thank you so much Melanie for letting me know!

Anyway, I have a new label, with the correct spelling (I hope!)

This month's challenge over at the DigitalArts-cafe forum is the Color Challenge. The challenge was to make either a layout or a freebie kit with 3 of the colors from the color palette. New Templates and a CU Freebie!

It's been rainy and miserable the past couple of days, so I have had some time to sit down at the computer and now I'm back with today's new releases! New in my shop are two new Template Duo sets! Both sets are okay for commercial use, scrap for hire, scrap for others and personal use.

I've made a couple of layouts with the Template Duo [Simplicity] set. And you're lucky... these two layouts have been made with the latest kit that I've been working on, so if you like what you see keep watch, it should be out soon!

Anyi has made up these two sweet and fun pages with my I'm Gonna Tell Mommy kit. I really love the story that each of these layouts tells, even though I don't know Hungarian the story is so apparent, I love it!

I couldn't resist making up a little freebie for you, so I have scaled down one of the templates in the Template Duo Volume 2 to make a 4x6" brag book template freebie. This template is okay for commercial use, scrap for hire, scrap for others and personal use.

Just a quick post for now, I should be back later with a couple of new releases for you! But, I just wanted to share this super adorable layout that one of my guest CT girls, Erika, has made. I really love how she accented the zebras' stripes with the print on the background paper and the frame. The photos really pop out and speak for themselves.

DigitalArts-cafe Boutique Down =(

The boutique at DigitalArts-cafe is down at the moment. Some hackers have broken into the boutique and changed settings to show their page instead of the boutique.

Melo is working on fixing the problem, but we don't know how long it will take. I'll keep you posted, and let you know when everything is resolved.

I just don't get some people. It just seems completely pointless to me.

This set of two 12x12" templates is a quick and easy way to create digital scrapbooking layouts by just adding your choice of papers, embellishments and photos.

Each template can be used by alone to make stunning layouts, or together to make a two-page spread. Each template has been created and saved at 300 dpi for crisp, clean edges.

Available in .psd and .tif layered files as well as individual .pngs, so these can be used in most programs.

The .psd and .tif files have drop shadows added to the layers which can be changed or removed to suit your layout.
The .png files do not have a drop shadow.

This set is for personal only but is also available as Commercial Use, Scrap for Hire and Scrap for Others okay with no credit required.

Today is the big day for the draw for my birthday RAK! Well I'm a day late, but I've not had much computer time with Wy Wy teething - my little cutie has cut 5 teeth in the past 3 days!

Well I said I would be back with a little surprise for you... So here it is...

I've received such nice things for my birthday, and I want to share the love! I'm thinking in the form of a RAK for some lucky people!

Yay! It's my birthday today! So far has been a great day, Ian and the boys brought me coffee and presents in bed this morning, and Ian did the school run for me. I love my presents! Ian got me The CS4 Master Collection, and 2 gigs of RAM for my PC so that I can run it! The boys got me the brand new Anita Blake Vampire Hunter novel by Laurell K Hamilton, Skin Trade and some cute Me-to-You tatty teddy car excessories for my 20 year old Mazda 323 (yeah my car is ancient, think mutton dressed as lamb with the new bling lol).

It may be my birthday, but I have a gift for you!! I made the Sunny with a Chance layout that I posted a few days ago of Wyatt's little tootsies into a quick page =)

Oh, and more good news... no more 4shared downloads from me! Clicking on the preview will download the quick page directly (my present to myself this year was a domain name and web hosting!!)
