Uploading.com once again decides to do something about their cheating members. This time they have gone more strict, banned MANY members for cheating and earning.

Along with that, they have e-mailed the cheaters with the following information :

I was going through my stats page and happened to find a new guide-tip on how to aim for the platinum status

Here's what I found :

Essentially to reach a higher status your links should sell more premium accounts. Here are few tips that may help you to be promoted to a higher type of uploader and eventually to reach the platinum status:

- Don't post links to different file hosting sites for the same file. This kind of mirrors allows users to simultaneously download from different sites and they have less incentive to buy premium.
- Don't switch every day to different file hosting service - that way people are less willing to buy a premium account, as they will need multiple premium accounts from different services to get all the content and that is more expensive.
- Do not upload files that you will not promote. Used server space is also accounted when your rank is considered.
- Put more effort into bringing more visitors to download your files, rather than to upload more files. If you are uploading 10Gb of files everyday just to have every file downloaded few times you are going to stick with Copper.
- Don't post on resources that have popups, try to install trojans and similar stuff. This way users do not have much trust and are less willing to pay.

This will be good both for HF as well as for us, the uploaders. On a serious note, this looks more of a downfall for Hotfile. Why? Believe it or not, 10 out of 10 of my friends (including me) earn around $4000 / month AND... we got a copper status. Maybe it's because we are not able to sell premium accounts, but on the other hand, instead of $4k, we now won't be able to cross even $1k mark. Very well put. Let's see how long Hotfile survives. I would rather go for the standard silver status happily than the platinum status FOREVER.

Uploading.com ends Bonus Program

After thinking it through thoroughly we've decided to terminate the Uploading.com bonus program. This bonus program had been launched in early May with the intention of encouraging partners with traffic from US, UK and DE. It assessed the additional $15 for every 1000 downloads. The program, though launched in May, continued informally in June on the same terms. Although we would have liked to have announced the termination of this program in advance, we've had to make this decision rather quickly. So tomorrow, the 24th of June, we will discontinue bonus accruals.

Bonus program had been a huge feature to attract mass uploaders to use uploading.com INSPITE of having bad reviews about it.

By Bad reviews, uploading.com has been facing downloading issues, server problems, Stats page not being updated properly, people getting frustrated for getting shaved downloads. Inspite of all this, many tried to earn as much as they could. Now that this is over, focus is on having an overall new engine or lets say.. new script/template/redesigning of uploading.com. I feel Uploading Admins should rather focus on the Remote Upload manager and the Normal uploading web tool than on a new design altogether. Remote upload has been buggy ever since.. the start? Let's see what Uploading brings us in next 2 weeks. Hoping for improved services rather than a new overall engine of uploading.com website.

Ever since UploadBox announced it's new tariff plan :

Now we pay only for downloads of your files done by premium members.

I have observed that the downloads are decreased to the very next number of 0 . Secondly, ever since this rule, my 3 payouts, my friend's 2 payouts and many other payouts are yet to be completed. Heck, been 3 weeks.
Now that we cannot earn anymore from uploadbox due to such crap rule, we are not even paid anymore.
Besides, UploadBox's service was never good. Every few hours they used to have downtime, paying only through Webmoney and not adding Paypal.

Hence, I am going to add UploadBox in the list of Scams.

Recycle: This is the most powerful tool you can have to enhance your earnings.

It's so powerful that is being completely misused.

Let's start with the story behind the recycling process...

Whenever you recycle a referral, you get a new one. No surprises here.

The referral that got fired, isn't tossed to the lions. After 15 days of being recycled, if his/her activity is back on the general rule of 10 clicks in 5 days, that user goes back to the rental distribution and can be rented or exchanged by another user again.

My in-depth analysis shows that 61% of the recycled referrals are indeed good users after those 15 days (I don't count the solitary days).

This clearly shows that many users are being recycled like crazy.

There are many types of people in this world and yes, like in Noah's Ark, we have a couple of each species.

There are the excellent clickers: A good and hard-working user who religiously never misses a day of clicking. These are hard to find, especially when they have no referrals to work for.

There are the once-upon-a-time clickers: We can easily divide these in two groups: The ones that click every other day (either because they click twice in a day or because they share an account) and the ones that click half (or about) the minimum advertisements available (also account sharing takes place as many daily normal activities people have with friends and family).

There are the never-never clickers: These are the funny ones. They register but either never login or login but never click. These mostly come from referral's exchange and are here just to look at the funny pretty colors.

There are click-and-got-tired clickers: These ones click on the first day(s) and then, all of the sudden, they get tired. Usually, it's not a wrist strain or a non working mouse but the deception of seeing only 1 cent per click. Daddy always gives them more as an allowance.

There are the I-got-my-wife/mother-in-law/dog/boss on my back ones: These are the folks you see in the street rushing to work in the morning and getting home late at night. They do try to click but fail sometimes because there's something else more important to do.

There are the crazy ones: These are classified as miscellaneous behavior individuals... you never know what they'll do next.

So, after this mini classification, you'll see that everyone has their own life and ambitions.

We have hundreds of users daily requesting us to reopen their accounts because they've been suspended because of being inactive for more than 30 days. Besides the usual hospitalization justification, the second one is always "I got scammed in PTC nr 195782 or in PTC nr 840932.

This means that a bad clicker or inactive user can become an excellent one or, sometimes, it's just the other way around.

This leads me to the account management itself.

Most users recycle referrals as they were part of the same religion or soccer team. Trust me, they're not!

There is no "this works for everyone" strategy. No universal solution for the good management mystery. But, there is something that you can do in your account that you do each day in numerous situations in your life: judge!

You take a walk down the street and you see people, right? Either you like it or not, you judge them. But, until you know them, you judge them based on pre-defined ideals. You separate them by sex, weight, hair color, etc. How many times have you classified someone as bad and got to be their friend and enjoy their company?

Referrals are people too... and most of you keep making the same mistakes over and over again as you do in real life.

Get to know your referrals better. Try to imagine each one as a person and analyze their clicking behavior. This will lead you to understand if they're just playing around or really want to be good users but can't.

One by one is a hard task for those who many referrals... I never said it would be easy.

Like being a boss of a 3 people company is way easier than being a boss for a multinational factory with thousands of workers. The more you have, the more you have to work.

And now, let's take a quick look at the free recycle.

It's good, right? Free is always nice.

But, here free can cost you... a lot! Many users use this free recycling as a way of saving but, most of them are not saving but losing in the end.

It's very simple. You rent a referral for $0.20 (example). This means that for 14 days, this referral cost you around $0.10, correct?

So, are you letting him be paid for doing nothing for 14 days and get a new one for free or are you going to recycle him/her?

In the first option, while you don't pay a thing to have that referral recycled, you've lost $0.10.

If you've recycled him/her in the first place, you'd only lose $0.08 and would have 14 days where most likely the new user would have clicked some advertisements thus making you earn.

See the difference? Think about it.

Please, don't stare and drool at other users statistics.

You're as good as they are.

You have the tools and you need to use them.

Referrals are real persons... active, lazy, caffeine addicted and sometimes ugly.

I have been asked recently to post a relation between these top 3 Pay-to-share websites. I have worked with all 3 and I have found that Each is special in its own way.

Let's go step by step

1) Linkbucks - I have been in this program since past months and I must say that this one rules the web. Sexy payout as compared to usercash. 3 types of ads, sexy paying rates. Also, not to forget the "Double Payout" event which happens once or twice in month(s).

2) Usercash - Well, this pays less than Linkbucks but why I still use? Many forums have banned linkbucks due to malware (caused due to linkbucks' advertisers). So here, usercash rules as no malware is there and also, no time waiting (like in linkbucks, for 15 seconds). Moreover, many many forums still allow Usercash but not linkbucks!

3) HyperlinkCash - What to say about this.. well, it's no better than Linkbucks . It's definitely better than usercash.

In Linkbucks, if we chose the Intermission ad type, we are paid $1/2000 clicks, assuming clicks are from US.

Q: Can I have two accounts on uploading.com?

A: It is allowed to have multiple accounts on uploading.com only if you didn't registered them using the referral link from one of the accounts. Otherwise, they will be blocked/closed.

Q: What file size is counted?

A: Any file size between 1mb and 100 mb is counted. If you make someone download a file above 100 mb, Firstly he won't be able to download since uploading.com allows only 100 mb to be downloaded as free user. Secondly, even if he is a premium user, you will still not get any revenue. However, if the free user, who is trying to download a file size above 100mb, goes premium, you will get half of the rev-sales share.
For example : if a user buys a premium account for 3 months which is for 20$, you will get 10$ as rev-sales. There is no other way you can earn if your file size is above 100 mb.

Q: My stats for the day just disappeared? Why?

A: The stats are recalculating once a day (usually after midnight). At this point the stats "disappear" but come back after an hour.

Q: How much percentage of the sales do I get?

A: You get 50 percent. Exactly 2.48$ for 3-day premium membership, 9.98$ for one month and 29.98$ for 6 month membership.

Q: Something is wrong with my stats (strange views/downloads ratio, non-payed downloads, etc)

A: There could be several reasons for this. Uploading.com is a relatively new service and has it's problems. But that problems are temporary and usually fixed quick. Be patient and don't panic. Counting problems might be caused by server issues or they don't have to do anything with uploading.com itself. That is, your traffic is maybe coming from non-paying countries, premium accounts, etc. Whatever the case be, just be patient and if the problems don't disappear after significant time (two or three days for example) then contact one of the admins with your Uploading.com ID and they will look into it.

Q: How do I change my Uploading.com password?

Q: I recently requested a payment to my ePassporte account and the payment history says it's complete but I haven't received any money?

A: Uploading.com is sending a batch to ePassporte (which is usually complete within 1-6 hours). The Complete status is set when the batch is sent. Be patient and the money will soon appear on your ePassporte account.

Q: What is the criteria for accepted countries list? When will my country be on the list?
