Hello Friends!

Have you ever been short on time and needed a way to wrap a small gift? Better yet, have you ever wanted to make a box to hold some cards to gift away?

What if I told you that you could create small boxes for anything from the supplies you probably have collected in your craft room?

You can!

A few weeks ago, I was headed to a birthday celebration for a girlfriend and needed packaging for a cute bracelet I picked up for her. I posted the box to my social media channels, and everyone asked about it this specific box. However, you can make any size small custom box for any small item!

I have created a video to show you how. Before we get started, you should grab some designer paper and cardstock to match. You can use one of these printable sheets to make small boxes for any occasion.

When I print these, I set them up to print two on a sheet to conserve paper, but you can print them as is if you prefer.

So, here's the video. Not without an error, but we just made a second box to fix that problem! I can make boxes all day, but sometimes I have trouble with simple math! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Comforting Thoughts - Online Exclusive of the Week

This week's online exclusive feature is one that sets my heart on fire. You know I am super committed to the fight to battle cancer. Whether you know someone who is having a bad day and could use a little encouragement or someone who is having the battle of their lifetime, this stamp set has all the hard things!

This one has been out for a bit. I recently inquired with Stampin' Up if we could expect that this set will be available in October for Breast Cancer Month, and they could not guarantee it. I wanted to make sure you know it exists!

While this technique is super simple to crank out a bunch of note cards, it really packs a punch to make a dynamic card for someone.

It's great to make a card to let someone know they are not alone. This one has all the feels for me.

Can you believe, that it has been 12 years since we started raising money for Making Strides of Boston? Isn't it amazing when we, together, can make a difference while doing something we love?

Please join us on October 30th at our ANNUAL Stamp Out Breast Cancer Event!

Over the years we have supported all who have been touched by this disease and fought back by gathering together, creating beautiful artwork, and raising money at the same time!

We even did it last year when we couldn't BE together in person and ended up being THIRD out of all the fundraising teams in Boston with a total of $9,671 raised. It takes EVERY SINGLE PERSON to make it work, and we are so very grateful for you and all your support throughout the years. 100% of all money collected goes right to the charity!

I am so very excited and have been preparing a new catalog event for this week.

Tomorrow marks the date of our 11th Annual Stamp Out Breast Cancer Fundraiser!

This year, because of these unusual times, we can't gather in person. I love the above photo from our event a few years ago with so many wonderful faces. They represent just a few of the very large group of people that band together to make this fundraiser happen, even now!

WHAT IS THIS EVENT? Normally, we would gather together to make greeting cards (real works of art!), socialize, and enjoy hundreds of raffle items. In 2020 we have reinvented the event - Stamp Out Breast Cancer - At Home!

This year, if you contribute $25, or more, I will send you 22 project designs with instructions, that you can recreate using your own supplies! These creations were designed by demonstrators from around the world - and include gift card holders and other fun techniques!

The project below is the gift card holder/cup I designed. That's right! A standard gift card fits right in the cup! It can be redecorated 100 different ways for different occasions and the PDF template for that cup will be included with your PDFs. I did a video this week to show you how to use the PDF.

Cancer has touched our family and stamping families in more ways than I can even share!

This event is so near and dear to my heart and so many friend's hearts too. That is EXACTLY why our team from around the world banded together to fight even during this crazy year!

I have been working on a BIG class for my team catalog kickoff but everyone is invited to take the class!

The holiday catalog is filled with some amazing new things! This first release party will be a completely online event.

I am changing things up this time and offering an online Mega Class.

In this ONLINE class you'll make 14 gorgeous fall theme projects using some beautiful new products from the Holiday catalog that was just released in August.

We will be using 2 BRAND NEW Bundles You will need your own stamps, and ink to complete the projects but they will be ultra prepped for you. Die-cutting done, bows tied, and more!

Stampin' Up's Whale Done (and a Zany Zebra), Watercolor Spritzing and Flinging Bling!

It was a crazy Tuesday, with a super fun live video. You can check out the replay on youtube below.

What happens when you mix 91% rubbing alcohol with ink refills? You get a super fun solution you can spritz on watercolor paper. I had a ball making these "Whale Done" notecards.

I started with a case-ing Tuesday sketch, and made this sweet card.

Then, I got carried away and made cards all afternoon. It was a lot of fun. I can't wait to mail these out!

All orders (even over $150) will have a host code, so that I can afford to gift you my gently loved items in exchange for an equal order.  You have 24 hours from the time that I send the email to place your order.  If you prefer me to place the order for you, the items will ship here, and you can pick up from me when they come in.

Good Morning Friends!

It's no secret, I love a good sketch challenge.

This week our design team is CASE-ing or making over a card from the front cover of the catalog. You can join our CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see more samples and/or share your own card with us.

Here is this week's sketch with measurements. I altered it a little bit. My White embossed layer is measuring 5 x 3 3/4" and the Gray Granite is 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Other than, that I stuck to the sketch.

I spy with my little eye, a sneak peek from the holiday catalog! This Balmy Blue glimmer paper will be going live in August with the holiday catalog. I am already in love with it!

To color this sweet image, I just used ink pads and blender pens. The birds are smaller than my fingernail and I thought about painting them with Sink of Stella, and actually tried it.

The first try didn't go well, so I went back to the basics! The pretty blue baker's twine comes from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo pack. A full supply list is below. I did sponge my sentiment layer with Balmy Blue ink, to match the card base, and coloring on the birds.

This is such an adorable bundle and I can't wait to make more projects with it. Simple and sweet.

Boho Indigo, One Sheet Wonder #3. Don't be Blue!

Hello Friends!

How about another One Sheet Wonder Using the Boho Indigo Medley?

This time I chose the diamond pre-embossed 6x6" Sheet of cardstock, and I made a new map. I have also had several instant messages and emails asking where I got the one-sheet wonders.

I created them from scratch and made them in a program called adobe photoshop. Feel free to print them out and use them! :) It takes the guesswork out of using a 6" x 6" Designer paper to make a few cards. For this one, I made 3.

First, here's the "map" I made.

Card one uses two pieces from the one sheet wonder. The first piece is a 2 3/4" square, and the other is 3 1/2" x 3 1/4". Please note, anything that has a dark card base, I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" piece for the inside to write on.

Card One Measurements:

Base: Garden Green 11" x 4 1/4", scored and folded in half at 5 1/2"

Layer 2: Soft Suede 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

Layer 3: Very Vanilla 5" x 3 3/4"

Layer 4: DSP 3 1/2" x 3 1/4"

Layer 5: Soft Suede, 2 7/8" square

Layer 6: DSP 2 3/4" square

All remaining layers are pre-colored, die-cut pieces from the Boho Indigo Card kit. So cool!

The green side of this Boho Indigo Set is killing me! I just want to be in Hawaii!

Card 2 Measurements:
