So about two weeks ago, I went to UO to look for -- god knows what I was looking for - but I believe I was looking for something to wear at a masquerade ball. Probably the wrong store to go to -- but anywho, I was browsing through the shoe section and stumbled upon these babies. I was a bit hesitant to purchase them but it was the only pair left. So I decided to go ahead and purchase them. Unfortunately these did not come w/ the box... I know it shouldn't matter but the salesperson said they always throw out the boxes of shoes that are on display - which I think is kinda bs.

With that said, I have no other complaints -- they are pretty comfy and for $79, wasn't a bad deal at all.

Black & Brown

Not only are these shoes pretty comfortable, it only cost me no more than $50 bucks each. The first two were purchased at Target. Boots are awesome and the wedge sandals are surprisingly pretty comfortable. The last two were both purchased at F21. I was a bit skeptical bout buying shoes at F21 as I've heard some mixed reviews about them. But so far I have no problems with these.

I'm actually doing something productive this Sunday! I'm blogging. I finally found the charger and the USB cord for my Nikon camera so I've been uploading/transferring and editing some photos all day. How was your weekend? I hope it was as awesome as mine and enjoy the rest of the week!

Hop Kee + Snails

After a night out of heavy drinking at someone's birthday party at a nice and hip bar/club packed with crazy alkys; eating greasy, salty food afterward usually does it for me. If i'm all the way downtown, I love to go to Hop Kee or Yummy Noodle just for the snails! Snails with black bean sauce! Yummy. Just the thought of it is making me hungry again.

My fave nail polish of the week - OPI Siberian Nights. Love the purple hint to it. Speaking of favorite things... I am absolutely enjoying this Instagram app on my phone. It's pretty and free, has awesome filters, it's fast, and easy to share your photos with family and friends.

2010 was one hell of a year but I doubt I will miss it. I am grateful for a couple of things that happened in 2010. Maybe I will share that with you sometime on my next post... maybe. But the past is the past. It is time to move on and I am looking forward to what the future brings. 2011, bring it!

...that said, I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! and be safe. ♥

My favorite lip balm from EOS. It's 95% organic, 100% natural, and packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E. I believe they have 4 or 5 other flavors (I got the honey suckle honeydew -- in case you were wondering)
Just a little reminder. It's crazy how something simple can brighten up your day. It's usually the little things that matter the most. Right?

Sunday nights at the boy's house means beer and chicken (ha! kidding... well sometimes) but it's HBO's programming (aka True Blood, aka Boardwalk Empire -- you know the deal). Peter Klaven said it best, "It's not TV, it's HBO... Have you ever watched Sunday night programming on HBO? It's spectacular"

Back in the day, I was a bit more daring with my hair. Now I feel my hair is... blah. I haven't done anything to it in a while. I think the last time I've changed my hairstyle was last year when I had to donate 15 inches of my hair to Locks of Love. Now I think it might be time for a change of hairstyle.

Speaking of hairstyles, as I was flipping through Allure magazine (August 2010 issue), they had a page or two (I think) of Brigitte Bardot inspired hairstyles. You see it in most celebrities, on the red carpet, and runway shows. BB is known for her tousled/messy/bouffant hair (for a second there Snookie just popped out of my head) and for popularizing bikini swimwear in the early 50's. Her sense of style is truly an inspiration.
