The ‘RewardsAreFun.com’ online rewards redemption website is now Live!

We greatly appreciate your patience as we transitioned from being two companies into one. During this timeframe we have brought you many great pieces of technology and new and exciting ways to gain information about Books Are Fun’s great books and gifts.

We do know that many schools had sent in their rewards certificates before and during the acquisition to the prior Books Are Fun home office in Iowa. We believe we received all of the certificates and have given your school full credit for all of the certificates that were owed to you – (even if they were expired). Things happen and if your certificates did not make it to us and we have not credited your rewards account, simply contact us as rewards@booksarefun.com or 888.516.3431 with all of your contact information and we will be happy to help you!

All schools can register and create a new account by locating the tab that reads: ‘MY ACCOUNT’. Once you have created an account you can then enter in the certificate codes on your NEW Books Are Fun rewards Certificates. There are many forms of information on the website that can greatly assist you in getting started. We have a ‘How To’ video tutorial located at the bottom right hand side of the web page where you can watch a quick video on how to get started if you choose. You can also update your contact information, see all of your certificates and points, see an archive of all of your previous orders in your school’s rewards account at any time

Your local representative will be handing out Rewards Flyers with all of the pertinent information that is needed if you have Imagine Nation Books or old rewards certificates to exchange for the NEW Books Are Fun certificates. This information can also be found at the center of the rewards website labeled ‘Important Info’ & ‘Read More’. Remember not to send in your New Certificates, you will need those for the website. J

The past rewards method was to mail in all of your rewards certificates to the home office with a list of the items you would like to redeem your rewards certificates for. Our new system allows you to redeem your rewards certificates online, making your redemption experience more exciting and more efficient and fun!

In order to get started with our online rewards center website “Rewards Are Fun”, we will need all schools to mail in all *valid prior Books Are Fun/Readers Digest & Imagine Nation Books certificates to be replaced with our NEW Books Are Fun Certificates. Why? … Each NEW Books Are Fun Rewards Certificate has a unique code that will be used for your online redemption and the old certificates do not work with our website.

Dear Customers,

Your satisfaction with our products and services is our top priority. Your local rep will, in most cases, be able to handle any issues you have including product exchanges or refunds. If you do not have your local rep’s contact information, either on your receipt or with your book fair coordinator, please use the Rep Near You function on our website or ask your secretary or librarian for your rep's information as they might have it on file. The holiday season is upon us so it's a great idea to get your rep's information ahead of time just in case you may need it.

If your rep is out of the item that you need exchanged, please let me know and I can work to find a replacement for you. If you are not happy with a product at any time within 30 days of purchase, please contact me at the home office to arrange for a refund.

We would appreciate your feedback, both positive and negative so that we can improve our service to you. Please let us know what we are doing right and what you think we can being doing better by commenting on this blog or sending feedback to customerservice@booksarefun.com

'Rewards Are Fun' School Rewards Program. Is it Available?

We are working day and night to activate your school rewards program. We are in the process of selecting books, educational sets and other resources to place in the "Rewards Are Fun" rewards website to allow a greater choice for what your school may need.

Please hold on to your old, (unused) Books Are Fun or Imagine Nation rewards certificates as we will gladly accept them in combination.

The Rewards Are Fun website will be very easy to use as all redemptions will be online.

Please keep up to date on our progress and share the information to your friends and staff as we will be posting regular updates.

First Book launched ‘Book Relief’ in September 2005, in response to the enormous devastation caused by hurricane Katrina. Since that time, Book Relief has distributed more than three million new books to children and families, and libraries, schools and literacy programs in more than 20 states, including the states directly affected by the storms and communities around the country that took in evacuees.

Imagine Nation Books gave away $1 million worth of books to Book Relief to give to children and adults in need in the Gulf Coast region.
