But if the movement toward green sustainable business practices is going to truly have an impact on the environment, people from all economic demographics need to be able to afford to buy organic products. I have noticed a few kind retailers popping up on the Internet of late who are trying to sell organic t-shirts and other organic and fair trade products at the lowest possible prices rather than the highest, and I think that these are the people that we need to start to patronize. I recommend looking around and supporting businesses that are trying to do the right thing.

Sedona canyon

Sedona canyon is one of the most fantastic sights that I have ever seen. The canyon is formally names Oak Creek Canyon, because it is Oak Creek that runs through it, but since it is the canyon that leads into Sedona, Arizona, it is referred to by many as Sedona canyon, and I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to live right in Sedona canyon, nestled in a small group of houses that you can't see from the road.

There is so much beautiful nature to see in and around Sedona that it is truly indescribable. Just walking down the main street you see some of the most fantastic views that you have ever seen. But if you go out and hike on some of the many trails in the Sedona area you really get a taste of what it is all about.

If you have never been to Sedona, you are in for a treat, and if you have been to Sedona, you most certainly know what I'm talking about. I had a hard time even standing for any length of time, and it was just really negatively impacting my life. Someone suggested that I try yoga, and it kind of scared me because all of that twisting and bending seemed like it could hurt my back even more. But in fact I could tell right away that it was exactly what I needed. You kind of become your own chiropractor.

I know that a lot of people go to yoga classes, but I just got a yoga video and some yoga gear from Yogitoes and I learned on my own. I got a Yogitoes skidless mat and a few really cool Yogitoes yoga towels, and I have been using them ever since.

I really recommend yoga highly for healing or maintaining joint and back health and flexibility, and for yoga gear, I recommend the products that have worked for me: Yogitoes!

Menopause Support

Menopause supplements are perhaps some of the most important nutritional supplements that anyone ever uses, because when women are going through the change of life their nutritional needs change and menopause support can be very helpful for restoring hormonal balance at this significant juncture in a woman's life. I find that psychological health and stress levels are impacted by the necessity to do things that make no sense to you in order to make a buck, and I have never been able to jettison my logic and common sense concerning the most effective and efficient way to complete a task in favor of the way that my "superior" wants it done. In fact, the whole concept of having a "superior" makes me feel uncomfortable, and that discomfort becomes what we call anxiety, and anxiety is not healthy.

I have also felt uncomfortable wasting my time shopping for, purchasing, buying, washing, and ironing clothes that I would never wear for any reason other than my job. I was giving the job 40 hours of my time or more, and then I had to spend all of this additional time maintaining the costume that corporate America deems appropriate for the workplace. I had to consider how my superiors would view my hairstyle, or my choice of tattoos or piercings, in order to survive economically. I also had to commute in gnarled traffic on roads that are overtaxed by a burgeoning population of newcomers. All of this added stress and anxiety to my life, and it negatively impacted my health and well being.

Working from your home is obviously a way to alleviate the causes of stress that are elucidated above, but it is also great for nature and the environment. When I worked a full time job outside of the home, I commuted about 150 miles a week, which consumed five gallons of gas per week and five hours of my time. Now that I am working at home there is one less car on the road and 260 gallons of gas not being consumed over the course of a year, and my impact on the acceleration of global warming is negligible.

My business does not manufacture or consume anything. I am not shipping anything or receiving any shipments. It has zero environmental impact, and it requires nothing more than a computer and an Internet connection. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to blog for a living, and though I work hard at it, it has been a panacea that has cured the things that were ailing me the most. I feel truly free to utilize my talent to make a living in balance with the rest of my life, and that is a satisfying feeling.

Reality Television: Meerkat Manner

It is a well known fact that reality shows have taken over the world of television. I guess it all started with the series "Real World" on MTV back in the day, and little by little reality television has become the most popular type of programming on the air. Everyone has their favorite reality shows, and I guess the old adage that says "truth is stranger than fiction" is applicable when you think about reality television.

There is even a reality television series about the lives of animals, and it is my favorite reality television show: Meerkat Manner.

If you are into Reality TV Shows, I would like to recommend RealityBug.com. It is an online source all about reality television shows and it is a fun site to visit. Check it out to see what's up in the world of reality T.V..

Desert Quail

Now that I am living here in Sedona I go hiking every day, and you see a lot of wildlife around here. There are a large number of birds, many of them indigenous, but this is also a migratory corridor so you really see a great many different species.

One prominent local bird is the Gambel's quail, and they are ubiquitous. They're really cute, and they make very distinctive sounds. I love seeing them and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to live here. I am an old geezer of 48, so when I was a youngster there was no such thing as the Internet (and, we had to walk to school in the snow every day, uphill, both ways!). But what we did have was magazines, and I was fortunate because there was a newsstand right across from the building that I lived in. I gained a lot of knowledge about nature and animals by getting National Geographic, and I enjoy it even now.

I saw a good resource online today for Cheap Magazines called MagsForLess.com. They have a great selection of every magazine imaginable, and their prices are so low it is hard to understand how they can turn a profit. Visit their site to make sure you always have something to read on the coffee table.

Dolphin Thievery

When I was living on the Gulf coast of Florida in Cape Coral, which is right outside of Fort Myers, I read an interesting piece in the paper one day concerning the dolphin. There is, as you might expect, a lot of fishing that goes on in the area, and a lot of people have recreational boats and fishing is what they do. It seems that dolphins were waiting until fishermen and women had hooked a fish, and then they were swooping in and eating the fish before the fisher could reel it in. They always told us dolphins were smart, right?

I guess that the fishermen wanted the government to arrest the dolphins for theft, or would that be petty larceny? They were outraged and "wanted something to be done about it." Personally, I think you just have to take your hat off to the dolphins and try to outsmart them somehow. It just adds to the challenge.

Exercise In Comfort

I am a very casual type of person, and I really have to feel comfortable in the clothes that I am wearing or I am just not happy. I was just blogging about yoga, and when you are engaged in the practice of yoga you definitely have to wear comfortable clothing.

A lot of people like to wear tights when they practice yoga, and I saw a very good source of comfortable but trendy tights, as well as socks and leggings, online this morning. The site is called Hue.com, and it is a very dynamic company that recognizes that age is just a state of mind, so their line appeals to anyone who is young in spirit regardless of the number that is assigned to you.

Visit Hue.com and have some fun shopping, they have a wide variety of very cool apparel.

Yoga Interwtined Into Life

I find myself practicing full routines of yoga a couple of times a day, but I will do some poses at various times throughout the day just to stretch my back when it starts to let me know that it's there. I work seated all day and my back really doesn't like it very much, so I do the yoga and it is an ongoing give and take.

It has become almost like breathing or sneezing or some other routine but necessary bodily function. It's cool because it does help to relieve the stress from my back, but my arms and chest and other muscles always feel strong because I am frequently exercising them throughout the day as well.

I don't want sound like a broken record, but I highly recommend the practice of yoga. I am back in my element and enjoying a lot of fun and personal growth and it feels very good.

I have been going hiking every day, and it has been invigorating for my mind, body, soul, and I am grateful to have been given the opportunity. I am staying out in the country temporarily, and I have seen quite a few lizards around the yard. They are startling when you first see them, but this is their home and they are just a part of the landscape. I love seeing them, they are just another manifestation of the life that is manifest everywhere around here.

Experience Nature: Isla Mujeres

When I sit back and conjure up a mental picture of pure bliss, I am sitting on a beach on an exotic island somewhere surrounded by beautiful emerald waters, a cool breeze against my skin and an ice cold drink in my hand. I have always been able to keep up some type of regular exercise routine, and when I see others that can't, I immediately recognize where the difference lies: I like to exercise and they don't.

The key is to find some form of exercise that you really like to do. Since I love animals and nature, and I care about my health, taking long hikes in nature with my dog is an ideal way for me to get my exercise while taking care of my dog and getting some fresh air and communing with nature. I look forward to it; it is fun to me.

I was swimming every day for a few months when I had a sore knee, and I enjoyed that too. But I do not like all forms of exercise, and I wouldn't be successful at maintaining a regular exercise pattern if I didn't do things that I like. If I had a treadmill, it would gather dust, because I don't like walking on a treadmill.

If you learn to enjoy your exercise without separating the practice from the routine of your day, it becomes a highlight that you don't want to miss rather than a chore that will inevitably fall by the wayside.

Living With Options

I like to see a lot of different things if it is at all possible, and that is why I like to travel. When I was a young man I once got a job working in a small airport fueling planes, and I got to talk to a lot of people who had their own small private aircraft, and I really admired the freedom that they enjoyed. They were able to explore all sorts of fantastic natural beauty when they got to their destinations, but they also got to enjoy aerial views, which is something that they all enjoyed.

My dad moved to Florida when he retired, and he loves it there. It is a very appealing place for the person who is interested in aviation, and I found a realtor today that specializes in Florida airport homes. If you are looking for a villa for sale in Florida in an aviation community, visit BartellRealEstate.com and explore their listings.

Nature In The Sky

When we think about nature we usually consider things like animals and plants, trees, rivers, forests, deserts, mountains, oceans and various different types of terrestrial terrain, but the things that are up in the sky are a part of nature too.

I have lived in the southwest for the better part of ten years and we get a lot of beautiful sunsets here, and you can see a lot of sky so they are quite visible. It is relaxing and rejuvenating to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, the forest, or the beach, and many of the most popular vacation destinations on the planet are nestled cozily into nature.

We are fortunate these days in that we can search for the best rates for hotels and car rentals online and be sure that we are getting a good deal. A good site to visit if you want to check out hotels near Disney World is TravelHero.com. They have the connections that they need to be able to offer their customers great discount prices on quality accommodations, so pay them a visit and start packing.

Funny Animals Video

We all know that animals in the wild are elegant and beautiful and carry a lot of grace and dignity along with them, which is one of the reasons why many people care so much about them. Our pets are familiar to us as family members and friends with very distinct and unique personalities. But animals are also very funny at times, and the video below contains some hilarious animal moments.

Insuring Your Health

I have always been a big proponent of the philosophy behind the old adage "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," so to me it is important to utilize preventative medicine and try to avoid health ailments through intelligent lifestyle choices. Keeping your mind and body in balance and in balance with nature is the key to achieving good health.

There are times, however, when you may need the attention of a medical professional despite your best efforts to keep yourself healthy, and with the cost of health care being what it is, you really need to have insurance.

A good source for health insurance is USA-HealthInsurance.com. Many people who have Internet businesses are self employed, so if you need affordable health insurance Kentucky or insurance anywhere else in the country, do keep USA-HealthInsurance.com in mind.
