Day #2 of Club Anya Sneak Peeks

Hello again on this glorious Tuesday. I have another project for you using the digi Fall Anya/Ian images for Club Anya. This is a mini scrapbook page that I put together after taking some pics of my son Garrett and his two cousins. When I got these images I knew immediately what I wanted to do with them. Our yard is covered with pretty Fall leaves right now so I got them in a pile and took a pic of the kids right in the center. Then I colored my two Anya's and one Ian to match my sweeties. Tell me what you think. Here it is.........

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch with Club Anya Preview

Hello and happy Tuesday!! I have a special post for you today using Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC47. I'm using this sketch to show Day #2 of the sneak peeks for Club Anya and The Greeting Farm. I am using the digi Fall Anya on this card. Isn't she just adorable??? I just absolutely love the Miss Anya line, probably my fav of all The Greeting Farm stamps. Do I say that about every TGF stamp that comes out? Oh no, I think I do. LOL. Hello and happy Sunday. Sorry I have been missing in action the past couple of days but I have been working on the Club Anya previews that start TOMORROW for The Greeting Farm stamps. Are you ready? Treehouse "Stationary Set" Challenge

Hello and happy Thursday. It's time for our challenge from the Treehouse Blog THT022. Our challenge today is to make a Stationary Set as a gift. Well, I have never made a stationary set so I was a little scared when I read this challenge. It turns out that I didn't need to be scared and that it was actually a lot of fun to make. I used the stamp set Simple Wishes from Treehouse Stamps. The sentiment panel is computer generated and those are my initials. Yes, I made me some stationary. LOL!! Thought I better test out this new project on myself before I made one to send to someone. Now, I am confident that this is a gift that I would be proud to give a friend. Hello again on this beautiful, bright and sun shining fall day in Northern Georgia. I couldn't wait to show you this card so I am posting again today. This is the Mom and Dad set from The Greeting Farm that was released on October 15th. I LOVE this set so much. Don't we all need baby cards? or our family and friends need baby cards? This set is perfect and the Oh Baby! set is a great addition to it. I made this card yesterday for no particular reason at all except that I wanted to use this stamp set. Good enough reason, huh? LOL. Here is the card .....

Hello and happy Monday. It's time for Little Paper Shop Challenge LPSC40, which is called Mel's "Stampified Digis" Challenge. Mel will be leaving us and we'll miss her!!!! I used the digi stamp Katie Igloo and a sentiment from the Christmas Tags set. I just love this Katie Igloo image. It was so much fun to glitter up that cutsie igloo and the snow underneath and Katie looks like a little doll sitting up on top. And what about those silver snowflakes? Don't you just love those too? Taylor's Wings of Joy

Hello and happy Sunday. I hope all of my friends out there had a wonderful Halloween. Garrett got tons of candy and had lots of fun being Snake Eyes from the new G.I. Joe movie. Garrett and his dad are both suffering some from severe allergies right now, bless my boys.

I made this card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge TESC89 for this past Friday. I used Taylor's set Wings of Joy. I have to tell you I am loving this set. It is loaded with some terrific images and sentiments and I see myself using it a lot for my Christmas cards this year. Here is my card.........

I colored the tree with Copic Markers, cut it out and adhered it to the main image panel with dimensionals. I used some Soft Sky ink to outline very lightly around the image. I have Stickles on the tree and around it to look like snow. My DP is from the Basic Grey pack Eskimo Kisses. Love it.

I made it in honor of my SIL Stacey, who is a 3-Year Survivor of breast cancer. Breast cancer is an awful disease that affects so many women in our world today. For every one of these Believe stamp sets that Verve sells, they are donating $10 to Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Go check out this great site and help in the drive to cure breast cancer. Hello and welcome to Friday and the weekend. Woohoo!! I have a short, quick post for you today as I am getting ready to go over to my precious friend Mercy's house to spend the day with her stamping. Oh yeah, we'll probably go eat lunch too. Does it get any better than that? Stamping and lunch with a great friend.

I made this card several months ago and had forgotten all about posting it. It is a very plain, straightforward card using Snuggle from The Greeting Farm. The sentiment is from the set Butterfly Wishes which is also by TGF. Love both of these stamps as I do the whole TGF line. By the way, have you checked out the new Twinkle Tots line that is being previewed this week over on The Greeting Farm blog? If not, go check out these new images that Marie has come up with. Love, love, love them!!! Now, back to my card and here it is ......

Treehouse Thursday

Hello and happy Thursday and welcome to our Treehouse Thursday Challenge THT021. Our challenge today is a "Fall Color Challenge" and you are to use Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango and Soft Suede; or similar colors if you don't have these. I started with the set Simple Wishes from Treehouse Stamps and paired it with some paper by K&Co. The main focal panel was stamped and then sponged with Certainly Celery and Soft Suede. Here is my card .....

So, what do you think of my card? It's a little more "shabby" then I normally make but I'm kinda liking it. It's good to get out of our comfort zone sometimes, isn't it? I really enjoyed making it. I used Katie Caroler and Christmas Tags from the Little Paper Shop. I just love this cute set. It reminds me of going caroling when I was a teenager. Hello again. I made this card earlier in the week for this past Monday's MOJO Sketch MOJO109 and for some reason forgot to put it on my blog. Yeah, that happens sometimes. You may have already seen it on the Club Anya blog. Here it is ..........

This is another one of the images I colored while we were on our camping trip. I also used some ribbon I have had for a while but have never put on a card. It's black organdy twisted with small white pearls wrapped around. It adds a nice touch, doesn't it?

Hello and happy Sunday. Today is going to be a family day for me. We are going to play Phase10, go to a Corn Maze this evening, play football, and then watch Flash Forward from this past Thursday since we missed it that night. Is anyone else as addicted to this show as we are? I can't wait for it to come on each week. It is definitely keeping me on the edge of my seat.

I made a card for Jen's Sketch For You to Try from this weekend using two $1 Spot Stamps that are sold by Treehouse Stamps. This Polar Bear is just the cutest image!!! You really need to go check out their stamps cause this is a nice, big image for just a dollar. The sentiment, Merry & Bright, is also a $1 stamp and it's nice and big also. The stamps are made by Imaginisce and are called Snag 'em Stamps. Go to the Treehouse Stamps store and snag you some. Here is my card .......

I told you he was precious, didn't I? I think this little Polar Bear is just a cutie patootie. The patterned paper matches this stamp and I got it a local scrapbooking store. It's made by Imaginisce too.

Hello and happy Saturday. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Mine has been great. Watching college football games, my hubby smoking ribs, my hubby and son home with me, life just doesn't get much better. Especially, when our team (Roll Tide!!!) won by the skin of their teeth against the Vols, but a wins a win, right?

I have a card for you today using Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge TESC88. I used a new stamp set I received a couple of weeks ago that is made by Taylored Expressions called Wings of Joy. I saw some amazing cards made by Taylor's design team and knew I had to have this set. It is so cute. I also put the main image on a new Nestie I just received called Peony. I colored the main image with my Copics and then added some Liquid Applique for snow on the birdhouse. Looks like winter time, doesn't it? Here's the card .........

Treehouse Thursdays

Hello and happy Thursday. It's time for another challenge from The Treehouse Blog and our challenge today is THT020. Our challenge today is to use some form of embossing. Easy peasy for me since I emboss on every card I make. I always stamp my main image with either Black Brilliance or Brown Momento ink and emboss them with Clear Embossing Powder. Love the way it makes the image pop and it's much easier to color also. I used the stamp set Autumn Blessings from Treehouse Stamps for this card. This set, along with several others, is on sale so make sure and go check it out. I just love the feel of fall: leaves, pumpkins, fall colors and this set covers it all. Here is my card .....

Missing in Action and Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday. You may not have known but I have been missing in action since last Wednesday afternoon. We went camping for six days and were without cell phone and internet service. YIKES!!! I did have some posts automatically scheduled while I was gone but not for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I hope you missed me as much as I missed being here and talking to you and reading your very kind comments. This camping trip of ours had been planned since the Spring so when I made the Club Anya Design Team it did not dawn on me at first that our trip would be on the same week as my first release with The Farm. Do you know how sad I was to not be there for the Release Party over on PCP? I was actually very upset because I was really looking forward to chatting with you guys. My precious husband even asked me if I wanted to cancel the camping trip. He really loves me!! But I couldn't do that as my son was really looking forward to his fishing time. On that note, I want you to know that I WILL NOT miss the next five releases while I am on this team. This is a dream come true for me and I don't want to miss a thing. Note: I want to thank my most bestest (southern slang inserted here LOL) friend Mercy for taking care of my blog last Thursday during the Blog Hop and picking the winner for the stamp set from the contest we had. Hugs Mercy. Love you girl!!!

Now, on to Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC44. Since I feel like I missed so much with Club Anya this past week (bless me, LOL) I made another card using the Xmas Sweeties set from The Greeting Farm. This is such an adorable couple, don't you think??? I paired it with some candy cane patterned paper from their Merry Merry Paper Pack. If you get this stamp set, and believe me you will love it, then you have to have that paper pack too. They go together like "peas and carrots", isn't that what Forrest says? LOL. Kidding aside, I love each and every piece of this paper to use with my Christmas cards. Look for more of it from me in the near future. Now, here is my card .......

I used the Dots embossing folder on the background panel behind Mr. and Mrs. Claus and then added some Liquid Pearls to the dots to make it look like snow. I used the snowflake and sentiment from the Keep Cozy set, I love pairing stamp sets up. The couple have Diamond Stickles on the fur of their coats for some added sparkle and of course if you saw my "Signature Style" from the Blog Hop you will see that I used "my Copics, my Nesties, a Border Punch, and Rhinestones. I LOVE bling!!! Now, here is a pic of the sketch ......

My signature clothes: Capri pants, jeans, short sleeve shirts.

Here we are at the Club Anya Blog Hop! Before we start our fun game I want to show you two more projects I made. The first one is from Xmas Sweeties (and look at the cute DP on the Christmas card, way to go TGF!!!) and the second one is from Mom and Dad. Here they are .......

Now to the game. We are switching it up on you this month by playing a fun little game called:

"Guess My Signature Style"

Each Club Anya DT member's blog has been overtaken by another team member! Gasp! Your mission? Figure out WHO's signature style we are talking about on each DT members blogs! Think you know the answers? Well, leave a comment on our blogs and a random winner will be chosen at 8pm CST tonight for a PRIZE!

What's the Prize you ask? Well, that's the fun part :) You'll have to come back tonight at 8PM CST to see MY Signature style, the full reveal of my card, and find out who's blog I was featured on today. Oh, and the best part? The stamp I used on my card is the stamp YOU'LL WIN!

My signature clothes: jeans and cute, boho-chic tops in the summer, and soft, fuzzy sweaters w/ the sleeves that are almost too long for your arms in the winter ... love it!

My signature shoes: my extensive collection of havaiana flip flops

My signature accessories of choice: well, I have a few signature handbags, but I never take my silver Tiffany necklace off...

My signature addiction: coffee. TONS of coffee. and an occasional cherry limeade :)

My signature stamping style: I can't live without my paper piercer, Copics, and lifetime supply of flowers!
