Everything started when I visited this place for the first time back in 1999. While on my job break I looked at the menu and saw home fries. I wanted to try them and that's when I witnessed the cooker making these amazing potatoes and boy they were amazing! He said to me; "you have one-minute pay close attention on how I do this, it is very easy, you can do it yourself." And here I am sharing this one with all of you. One more thing I decided to use olive oil for a healthy touch, also the potatoes can be cook with the skin on since the news was talking about pesticides I decided to cook them without the skin but they are always good either way. Enjoy!

Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 Potatoes
1 Onion
1 Tsp Oregano
1/2 Tsp Olive oil
1 Garlic glove
2 Tsp Parsley
3 Tsp Paprika

Preparation

Start by preparing the potatoes, cut them in small pieces. Boiled the potatoes not too much just to have them a little softer. Do not leave the potatoes too long or it will become mash potatoes instead. Once the potatoes are a little softer, drained the water. In a pan add the olive oil, onions, sazon, and garlic glove. Once the onions are soft add the paprika, and oregano. Mix with a spatula and then add the potatoes, paprika, and parsley. Mix all ingredients in medium heat until everything is well integrated. Always pay attention to the fire so the potatoes won't burned and add more olive oil if the potatoes are too dry.

Buttermilk Chicken Tenders Recipe

These are my son's favorite! Can't get enough of these juicy in every bite chicken tenders. The best part is that since is white meat it will cook faster. You don't need to be in the kitchen for hours. A quick meal that everyone will enjoy and they will beg for more.

Serves: 6
Preparation time: 10m
Cooking time: 3m

Ingredients

All purpose flour
Buttermilk or regular milk
Eggs
Adobo Goya with pepper (all purpose seasoning)
Sazon Goya (Coriander & Annatto)
Oregano
Garlic Powder

Preparation

In three different bowls place the all purpose flour, eggs, and milk. Mix the adobo, sazon, oregano and garlic powder with the all purpose flour. Grab each piece of chicken tenders and pass it first over the milk, then eggs and finally the flour. Make sure that the oil is hot to prevent the flour detach from the tenders. Once the oil is hot, you can tested by taking a pinch of flour and put in the oil if it's sizzles then the oil is ready. After covering all the tenders add it one by one to the fryer. Wait until the tenders are turned brown on both sides and then it's done. Served with mash potatoes and vegetables.

Rounded Chandelier Earrings Tutorial

This earrings are georgeous. I delight in the way they came out. The beauty of them is that you can use them with formal or casual outfits. They are about three inches long. The earrings can be made in different ways for example you can do them just by using the pear beads or the chains can be shorter depends on your fashion taste.

You will need

Two dangle chandelier earring findings

14 - Pieces of Chain

16 - 3 mm Glass Pear Shape Beads

18 Jump rings

Round head plier

Flat head plier

Chain Plier

2 Ear hooks

Instructions

Using the chain plier cut the chains the length that you are comfortable with. For example, you can do the middle nine loops, and continue to take one loop on each of the chain spaces until a V shape is formed.

Attached all pieces of chains to the dangle earring findings with the help of the round head plier and the flat head plier.

Once all the pieces of chains are attached to the dangle earring finding then start by attaching the jump rings to all the pear shape beads and then attach the jump ring to the end of each pieces of chain. Close each jump ring with the help of the round head plier and the flat head plier.

Next will be to attach the pear shape bead in the middle of the dangle earring finding by using a jump ring.

What's left to do is to attach the ear fish hooks using another jump ring.

Well Done! Now, you have made your own Rounded Chandelier Dangle Earrings!

Another great fruit mix...I needed my intake of fruits today so I started to mix some of these fabulous fruits and came out with a new flavor. Using fruit really is not brainier just mix different types of fruits to get different types of mixes. Just use as many as you like, there is really no measurements use as many or as little as you think is good for your taste. This one I gave the name of Berryloupe. How to add Scripts to a blog using Firebase

I didn’t know about this one until I started looking for a way to make my blog a little bit interactive and less crowded. In order for me to do this, I needed a platform where I could host my scripts and then linked to the blog page.

So, let me give you the steps on how to do this. I may want to warn you because some of the scripts may work and some other will not work. I had to do little tricks on how to work with the scripts in order for it to function.

OK, I did not write the scripts I usually go to other websites that offer free CSS, JavaScript codes and just used them, make sure to keep their copyrights (if any) intact.

Probably you may need to know a little bit about coding in order to modify the script to your taste. Most of the time they tell you in the script what is needed to be changed.

PART 1 UPLOAD TO FIREBASE CONSOLE

STEP 1

Click the “Go to console” option

STEP 2

Click the “Add Project” option

A little pop window will appear then Named your project

Click “Create Project”

After you create your project it will appear on the same window, just click in the name

(optional) The "Import Google Project" gives you the option to Add a Firebase to a Google project.

STEP 3

Click “Storage”

Then you can upload your scripts by clicking on “Upload file”

Make sure that your scripts have the correct extension name.
For example:
=>.css (Cascading Style Sheets)
=>.js (JavaScript)
=>.txt (for notepad text)
=>.pdf (Portable Document Format)
=>.docx (Microsoft Word XML Format Document file)

Also, make sure that after you upload your script is correctly build otherwise you may have to deleted and uploaded again. Every time you upload a script the system automatically will give you a new link to the script.

But basically, this is it for the first part of the Firebase hosting scripts. One more thing after you upload the script click on the name and it will open a little window next to the script and then click on “file location” and copy the link. This link will be the one that you will need to use on the blog web page itself.

PART 2 LINKING THE SCRIPT

STEP 4

Copy the script from the website that has it for free and paste to Note Pad, after that copy and paste to your blog post. Make sure to name the script on the note pad with the extension that the script is already written.

Log into blogger

Write a post

Enter the script extension which will link the script on Firebase to your blog

Build the Html for the script grab the link from Firebase and include it in your Html link

This will be the Script at the top of the blog post that is needed to link the Script located on Firebase

Chandelier Earrings Tutorial

These earrings are fantastic! I love the way they came out to be. So far these ones are one of my favorites. I can wear them all day long. I did a green and purple color too. Because it was a time of giving, I gave them both to two friends of mine as a Christmas present.

You will need

12 - 4 mm Acrylic beads

12 - 3 mm Swarovski bicones

2 - 6 mm Glass beads

22 Flower separators

24 Round head pins

Round head plier

Flat chain plier

2 Ear hooks

Instructions

Start by stringing the white 3mm Swarovski bicones to an eye pin using the round head plier. Cut the other side of the pin at least 1 inch and make a loop. Continue to do this until you have all 12 3mm Swarovski bicones completed.

Continue to do the same to the 4 mm green glass beads until they have two loops on each side.

Make sure all of the 4 mm beads and the 3 mm bicones are finished and done with one loop on each side.

Start by taking the 3 mm bicone open the hook on each and place them on the first available holes in the earring pendant.

Attach the 4 mm beads to the end of the 3 mm bicone hooks.

Continue to do the same thing until all 4 mm beads are connected to the 3 mm bicone

Place one 6 mm bead in the middle of the earring pendant as well as the other side. Attached the ear hooks on each earring pendants.

Well Done! Now, you have made your own Chandelier Earrings!

Salt Dough Beaded Necklace Tutorial

This necklace wascreated using the salt dough. I actually didn't see this on YouTube but on a book. I have never tried this before and I was very eager to learn and could not wait to do it by myself.

Ingredients needed to make the beads

Flour

Salt

Tools

Round head nose pliers

Flat head nose pliers

Wired

Food coloring

Instructions
STEP 1 The instructions are very simple just rolled little balls from marbleized dough and pierced on two sides with a toothpick covered with flour.
STEP 2 First, the beads are air dried on the toothpicks until they keep their shape (about 2 hours).
STEP 3 Then the toothpicks are removed and the beads are dried in the oven.
STEP 4 The beads are put back on toothpicks for the varnishing process.
Tip: The toothpicks may be stuck into a piece of floral foam or something similar to keep them upright.
*Important* The oven temperature should not exceed 250 F for colored dough or the colors will change.

Headboard to Coat Rack

I went to Hobby Lobby and saw one similar to this one, it was pretty but above my budget. But don't think I just walk out of Hobby, just because, don't think so, I had to buy something. Can you see those nice hooks and knobs in the picture? I had to have them to complete my design, and I used every little coupon they had that day plus they were on sale, so I even got them for less than what I expected, that makes me a very happy camper :) I want one of those headboards/coat racks and finally did it myself.

Here are the steps to make this useful coat rack for yourself.Pretty easy in just five steps.

Instructions

STEP 1

Cut the legs of the headboard as close you can to the top.

STEP 2

Paint the headboard with the color of your choice.

STEP 3

Attach the hooks and knobs where you think it will look nice.

STEP 4

Decorate the middle part with something that you might think it will work for the design.

STEP 5

Attached the seamless brackets to the wall and back of the headboard and place it near to your favorite entrance.

Very simple, fun to do, and useful!

Faceted Necklace Tutorial

I was looking for something to do in my spare time. I always have ideas about new handmade jewelry but this time I didn't, to be honest. So, I decided to go to the library and rented a book pack with a few interesting designs and happened that I had similar beads as the design in the book and I decided to venture, then a design came to be a beautiful glass and mother of pearl faceted necklace.

You will need...

Flat head pliers

Cutting pliers

Round head plier

160 Mother of pearl chips

66 3mm glass pearls

1 Toggle clasp

2 Crimp covers

2 Crimps

Two jump rings

.45 Beading wired

1 Pendant

Use the cutting plier to cut two pieces of wires at least 12" inches each. Using the round head plier, insert the two wires into the crimp and twisted to make a loop. With the help of the flat head plier, close the crimp.

Start stringing the 4mm crystal pearls into one of the wires. String 33 crystal pearls first, then add the pendant then continue with the remaining 33 pearls. At the end attach a piece of paper tape to prevent the peals from falling out.

Start by stringing the mother of pearl chips into the other wire. Continue until all 160 chips are in. At the end attach a piece of paper tape to prevent the chips from falling out (if needed).
At the end, grab the two wires again, insert a crimp, make a loop, and then close the crimp. Cut the excess wire.

At each end attach the crimp covers in the place where the loops were made. Attach the jump rings on each side, and then attach the toggle clasp.

Well Done! Now, you have made your own Faceted Stone Necklace!

Ingredients

3 ½ Cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoon salt
1 ¼ cups softened butter
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups dark or semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Start by Preheating the oven to 350 F. In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a separate container mix the softened butter, sugars, and eggs. Add the vanilla extract, and whisked together until a consistency like cream is form. Add the flour mixture to the creamed butter, and incorporate all wet ingredients using a mixer. Stir in the chocolate chips until just combined. Spoon the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (if available). Bake for 14 to 16 minutes, until the edges are just beginning to brown. Remove from the oven and move to a cooling rack. Serve warm with a glass of milk or ice cream.

Pączki - Polish Custard Doughnuts

I tried to find some jelly doughnuts recipes that were healthy and not fried. I am not Polish but if they cook like this, I am eager to find out more cooking recipes from them. Pretty delicious, simple yummy, heavenly doughnuts.

Serves: 12
Preparation time: 1hr
Cooking time: 40m
Difficulty: 3

Ingredients (Doughnuts)

1 ½ Cups of purpose flour
¼ Cup of sugar
¼ tsp of salt
1 Package of Instant Yeast
2/3 Cups of milk
3 tsp olive oil
2 egg yolks
½ tsp vanilla
¼ Cup additional flour
Scrapper
Biscuit Cutter

Ingredients (Custard)

½ cup of sugar
1 tsp of corn starch
1 cup of one percent milk
1 egg yolk

Preparation

Add the dry ingredients first. Add the flour, Sugar, Salt, Yeast. Mix everything a little bit. Add the wet ingredients. Add the milk. Make sure that the milk is at least 120 degrees, oil, eggs yolks, vanilla. Mix everything well in a blender for about two minutes, using low speed, then medium speed and ended up with high speed. The mixture will be a little soft. At this point use the extra flour to thicken it up by adding the flour to the mix little by little. Make sure your blender is on at low speed. Lightly flour a surface and scrape it all the mix out in the top of a counter. The kneading process is easy if you use a scraper. Continue to add flour to the mix until it becomes smooth and elastic. Knead the dough at least 50 turns. Covered with plastic and let it rest for 10 minutes. Prepare a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or with your fingers spread some flour onto the surface of the baking sheet. Unwrap the dough and roll it about ½ inch thick on a nice flour surface so it won’t stick. Use a 2 ½ round cutter, like a biscuit cutter, or anything round that might your for you. Deep the cutter into the flour every time you cut. Place the pieces on the baking sheet. At this point, you should have at least 12 doughnuts. Cover the doughnuts with a tea towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Place the doughnuts in the oven for 10 minutes at 375 Fahrenheit. For the filling traditional is filled with jam, usually plum jam or any kind of jam. But at this time I will show you how to make Custard filling. While the doughnuts are rising, start making the filling, because the custard needs to cool down completely.

Preparation (Custard)

In a small saucepan mix the sugar, corn starch, and milk. Slowly pour in the milk, that way you will get no lumps. Slowly whisking the milk, take your time while doing this. Add the egg yolk, whisking all together. Once all is well mixed, transfer to the stove on medium-high. Bring it to a boil. Keep stirring to prevent lumps and burning. Do this for about one minute or minute ½ and is done. It will thicken as it cools down.

To coat the doughnuts

In a plastic bag pour 1/3 cup of sugar. On a separate container melt one spoon of butter. Brush the top of the doughnuts and toss the doughnut inside the bag while hot.

To fill the doughnuts

Fill the doughnuts by inserting the middle of the doughnuts with the help of an icing bag.

Cake Mix Pancakes Recipe

Well, this morning I want it to make pancakes but did not have any box mixing flour to do them. So, I remember that I had a yellow cake mix, then it hit me; I could use this cake mix to do pancakes and here it is perfectly fluffy cake like pancakes❤️

Serves: 2
Preparation time: 15m
Cooking time: 15m
Difficulty: 1

Ingredients

1 Box traditional yellow Cake Mix (Pillsbury)
1 Cup water
1/2 Cup Oil or Butter
3 Eggs
1/2 Cup flour
1 Cup milk
Ground cinammon
Vanilla extract

Preparation

Combine cake mix, water, oil/butter and eggs in a large bowl; mix until moistened. Beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Transfer the batter into a new container. Add flour to the mix, about 1/2 cup. Add milk (until you reach the consistency of a pancake batter), cinnamon (or any other spices), vanilla extract (if desired). Cook on a greased skillet over medium-low heat until golden brown.I am not a lover of butter that much (just for baking), but if you like to spread it over you can do so along with your favorite syrup.

Avon Inspired Necklace Tutorial

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make an inspired necklace by Avon. This necklace is very pretty and will go nice with a dress or blouse. Between adding and taking it took me two days to finish. I loved the way it looks with my white dress though!

You will need...

Round head plyers

Cutting plyers

Flat head plyers

Ruler

Chains of choice

Crimp beads

Buckles or any other end bead that might work for you

Flat head pins or extra wired

Seventy 4mm round glass beads

Ten glass square beads

Nine 6mm glass beads

Beading Wired

Jump rings

Instructions
Step One
-Start by inserting the nine glass beads into each flat head pins. Make sure to cut the flat part of the pin. Then roll it at least twice and make a strong loop.
Step Two
-Take the pearls that are already wired and start by putting them together using jump rings.
Step Three
-Now, start by doing the same thing you did to the pearls, into the square glass beads and separate them five by five. Put together five beads using jump rings, then another five the same way.
Step Four
-Attach the five square beads to the nine round beads in one side and another five square bids in the other side using jump rings.
Step Five
-Attach the chains, including the one with the round and square beads to the buckle using jump rings.
Step Six
-Attached 19 seed beads to one end of the buckle by going around the buckle with the wired inserting a crimp bead first then the seed beads. Pass the wired through the crimp bead and then close the crimp bead and cut the extra wired.
Step Seven
-Thread 70 4mm beads into the wired and repeat step six at the end to close the necklace.

Well, these are a few of the remedies I grew up with. In my country in particular we had a lot of recipes that my grandma passed to my mother and it has being going on for generations. For example home made teas. Things that you might think are out of the normal to do, but these are not proven we just do them and they work out for us. With that being said it will probably might work out for you but you can try them for on your own terms.

Other than use it for many things and do your favorite lemonade; Lime helps fights dandruff. To use, cut in half and scrub into the scalp. Do this as often you like.

Other than clean & kill the bacteria on your meats and also helps to do a lot of cleaning shores; Vinegar also fights the athlete's foot bacteria and bad odor. To use it is very simple, just add the vinegar into a plastic container and submerge your feet. Do this as frequently as you can until you see improvement.

Garlic is good for many things and it is tasteful and for most people has a awful smell. Garlic is also a remedy for nail breakage. It will Help your nails to be strong and stay strong and also improved the growing process. You can apply it directly to the nail or put it in your clear coat nail polish regularly.

How about a cup of coffee? Well, coffee can be use as a scrub as well as astringent to fight pink eye. Make sure to use what's left after the coffee is brewed. To applied the eyes needs to be closed completely and while the coffee is there the eyes cannot be open until all the coffee is wash away with warm water.

Found this interesting article in a book and decided to share with you, because I found it to be really informative. Stuff that I didn't know either, opened my eyes to understand much better what are we using as makeup on a daily basis.

As a physician who specializes in anti-aging medicine, I’m bombarded with medical research and products that claim to turn back the clock. A few years ago I became troubled by a disturbing trend: the use of harmful compounds in skincare and beauty products. They are literally turning your face into a toxic waste site.

These chemicals cause a wide range of adverse health conditions from skin irritations to cancer but sadly, the skincare giants don’t want you to know about them. Unfortunately, there’s too much money at stake in the $2.3 billion anti-aging market.

US researchers have reported that one in eight ingredients used in personal care products are actually industrial chemicals: pesticides, plasticizes, degreasers, reproductive toxins, hormone disruptors, and carcinogens. Nasty stuff. What’s more some of the ingredients touted for renewing the skin can actually accelerate aging, clog pores and strip the skin.

The skincare giants won’t tell you what to look out for because they have too much to lose. Likely you won’t have heard about these toxins anywhere else but as a doctor, an anti-aging specialist and a woman just like you concerned about my skin, I believe it’s my responsibility to tell you.
Here is a list of some of the most dangerous chemicals in today’s skin care products that your need to beware of…

Acrylamide = Popular in face and hand creams studies suggest it may cause breast tumors.

Mineral Oil = Coasts the skin to keep it moist to cover fine lines, but it clogs pores leading to acne and making it difficult for your skin to purge toxins. Because it strips your skin’s natural oils, it can cause chapping, dryness and premature aging.

Padimate O = Commonly found in sunscreens it may increase the risk of skin cancer.

Parabens = Widely used as a preservative to extend the shelf life of moisturizers and anti-aging products, parabens may cause premature aging and sagging of the skin. Studies suggest parabens can cause cancer, allergic reactions and skin rashes. Suspected endocrine disruptions, they’ve been found in breast tumors.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate = A popular foaming agent used in facial cleaners, chemical sulfates can be contaminated with measurable amounts of the cancer-causing agent ethylene oxide, which can harm the nervous system. Look for the name lauryl sulfate and ingredients ending in “eth” as well.

Tricolosan = An anti-bacterial used generously in skincare products, it’s the same ingredient used in weed killers.

Propylene Glycol = A petroleum by-product used in antifreeze, this unnatural chemical is used as humectants and can cause a variety of allergic reactions as well as liver and kidney abnormalities.

OK, so here it is. I decided to change my eating habits a little bit about a week ago I put myself to the test and ate during the entire day and pay attention to the vegetables and fruits that I consumed at the end of the day I counted back the times I ate vegetables and for my own amazement I did not consumed any vegetables during the entire day. Basically I skip any or all of these essentials nutrients. I figure out that if I do start changing a little bit the way I consume fruits and vegetables I knew that my health will improve. It has been almost four days taking fruits and greens. The green vegetables are not my favorite to tell you the truth but I am trying really hard to eat them at least three times a day. So, here it is one of my mixing do it yourself recipes. I just mix everything without measuring quantities (that's how I roll). Just use the amounts that you think it will work out better for you.

Ingredients

Pineapple
Blueberries
Blackberries
Raspberries
Lemon juice
Strawberries
Banana
Mango
Mandarin Oranges
Flax seeds

Preparation

Simply mix everything in a blender or a juicer. Make sure to take the skin off the fruits. If you use a blender press "Liquefy" first then add ice cubes press "ice crush" for a while until everything blends together. To do a smoothie like instead, it can be prepared using strawberry (or other flavor) powder mix.

Plastic Gloves Hands Tutorial

This tutorial consists on two hands made out of plastic gloves filled with flour or corn meal. It is pretty basic and it's really a fun thing to do. Some of the items you might already have them at home.

Back on 1990 when I went to the cosmetology school our teacher show us how to improved our skills by making our own plastic hands and attached fake nails to it, that way all students gets to practice at home learning new nail art techniques. I loved cosmetology, you get to learn a lot of exited stuff like hair, nails, pedicure, makeup and facials.

You will need:

A Pair of plastic gloves

White flour or Corn meal

Nails and Glue

Nail polish

Nail polish remover

Rubber band

STEP 1
Start by pour in the flour or corn meal into the glove until you think is pretty full. You can make the glove as tinny or bigger as you like. After it is completely full the way you want it to be then tie the open end with a rubber band.

STEP 2
Glue in the fake nails (fake nails that are plain or nails that already has a design can also be use) the design can be easily removed from the nails if desired with nail polish remover.

Have fun doing this with your kids. It is an awesome project for girls who would like to try some new nail polish instead of trying on you. They can do and redo the nails attached to these fake hands as often as they want.
