As we, at HeartLine Medical, head into the new year we have to say goodbye to Dr. Andrew Robertson but say hello to Dr. Karen Papay, MD, Msc, FRCPC and her husband, Dr. Brian Forzley,MD,FRCPC.

Dr Robertson has had a very successful 18 months at HeartLine Medical and is now ready to leave our nest and branch out on his own - per say. As of January 1, 2010 he will be joining his father, Dr. Jamie Robertson in his father's well established practise in OK Falls, BC (just 20 mins south of our location). We all have grown to admire Dr. Robertson's ethics, commitment, and professionalism towards this profession. We will also miss his incredible humour. We all know what a great doctor he has grown into and now so will OK Falls.

Welcome to Dr. Papay who is a Clinical Gastroenterologist, and Dr. Forzley, a Clinical Nephrologist and General Internist. They are currently taking referrals as of January 2010.

As of immediately, there is an opening for a new long term locum to replace locum of Dr. Robertson.

HeartLine Medical has the Okanagan's first Aclasta* Clinic up and running.

Aclasta* -A treatment for Osteoporsis in the "For My Bones Program" - is a once yearly intravenous infusion for the treatment of osteoporosis in men and women to reduce the incidence of hip, vertebral, and nonvertabral fracture.

A new Doctor comes to Penticton

As of July 14, 2008, HEARTLINE MEDICAL is pleased to announce that DR. Andrew Robertson Bsc, MD, CCFP has joined our staff.

He graduated from University of Alberta this past June and has returned to his home town with his wife, Ella. His Father, DR J Robertson MD has had a long standing practice in the OK Falls community.

At this time, HEARTLINE MEDICAL still has positions available for locums wishing short term and/or long term opportunities.
