Hello there!

This is where I come in. Coming from a humble background, I have worked my way up the corporate and financial ladder. I listened eagerly to people I admire, people I consider my money mentors. I listen and wrote down what they said and applied them to my life. While yes, it wasn't easy but I guarantee you that it works! And with lots of motivation and a little discipline, you too can crawl out of the money problem hole and have as much money as you wish.

If you've noticed, we changed the website's name too -- from There's Cash Online to Double Your Peso, Pinoy! The change in name makes sense since the new title zeroes in on what I would like you to do, to double the worth of your money and make it work for you. I've gone from featuring real and bogus PTC sites to sharing the financial know-how that was passed on to me, and I am happy to do this because this is my way of paying it forward, of showing gratitude to my selfless mentors who also wanted me to succeed.

Part 3.2: The basic concepts of money management - the secret principle to becoming wealthy

Now that you know what cash, assets and liabilities are, allow me to differentiate the roles of these in terms of building wealth.

Notice that I used here the phrase "building wealth" and not "becoming rich". You might be asking, isn't being rich simply having more than enough money? Is there are difference between the two? You bet there is!

Becoming rich, for me, is simply the state of having a lot of money. You feel rich because you have in your possession loads of moolah but only today. What happens tomorrow or next year then, when prices of commodities begin to rise? The value of the money you have today will be worth less in the future, so you won't be rich or as rich as you are now.

Also, I know a lot of people who are rich. They earn Php100,000 or more every month but they also spend P100,000 or more every month! So before the next payday, they are left with nothing. Worse even are people I know who spend more than what they earn; they spend their cash and use their credit cards to buy things that they don't need and already own such as phones, laptops and other gadgets. This leaves them with an empty wallet and a mounting credit card bill that slashes their money's worth. It's sad but true. I am certain you know people like this.

So now, do you think being rich is simply having a lot of money? I hope you see my point that it isn't. Our goal here is not to become rich, but to become wealthy and live an abundant life.

Going back to the previous post, the basic concepts of money management - cash, assets and liabilities, among the three, what do you think you think in order to build wealth?

But before that, let's clarify this -- what does it mean to build one's wealth? Building wealth simply means having enough money or resources that works for you. This is the secret that your boss or your client refuses to tell you. because if you know and understand this secret principle well like they do, then you won't have to work for them again! You will be like the millions of Filipinos trying to eek out an honest living, working hard for a salary.

If you are like most Filipinos and citizens of the world who start as employees, then you have experienced working hard to get the money. You spend days at the office doing something you do not like just to bring home a pay which may not be even enough to cover your monthly expenses and occasional luxuries. Never mind the pay is low, because you keep reporting to work anyway, because you are thinking, too little money is better than nothing.

But did you know that instead of slaving hours away to earn money, your money can actually work for you? Your money, if used properly, can compound. This is great news, don't you think? And this is the truth! You don't need to trade your precious time for money. If you understand this concept well, you will never be someone else's underpaid and under-appreciated (ouch!) work slave. I know this well, because I've been there too.

How can you make your money work for you? This relies on your intimate understanding of the three concepts discussed in the previous post, the basic concepts of money management - cash, assets and liabilities. Among the three, what do you think you need in order to build wealth? You need two, cash and assets, to build your wealth. You just have to DO IT PROPERLY.

Part 3.1: The basic concepts of money management - cash, assets and liabilities

To begin understanding how money works and how it increases or decreases in value, we first need to understand the basic concepts, the things that decrease or increase in value.

We can classify all of our properties into three things:

1. First there is cash. Cash is what almost everyone wants. Cash is money, the bills and coins that we use to buy food at the grocery, to pay for our gas or fare. Centuries ago, people traded objects with objects. If a fisherman wanted to buy salt, he will exchange part of his catch to pay for the salt. Now, we use cash, the standard, universal object with value (as printed on the bill like $10, 20, etc.) to pay for the things we need.

People want more cash because lots of cash makes one rich. Or so we think. Hold that question, let me explain this later.

2. There are also assets. Simply put, assets are properties that earn money for you. There are different types of assets; there are tangible assets such as a house,a building and businesses, then there are intangible assets (or paper assets) such as stocks, treasury bills and mutual funds. As the word suggests, we would like to have assets because these add value to our wealth. I'll expound on this on my next post.

3. Then there are liabilities. Liabilities are exactly what the name implies, they are a burden because simply put, liabilities are expenses. They make us lose our money or current value of our money. For instance, if you spend $30,000 or Php1,200,000 peso for a brand new car, in a three years, your money will decrease its value to P400,000 because that will be your car's worth after three years. So your money decreased. Liabilities work this work way, that is why we would like to get rid of liabilities in order to become truly wealthy.

Now, let's delve in deeper in the discussion: How do these differ in value? Which of the three would I want to become rich? I'll tell you more in my next post so stay tuned.

Part 2: Why do we need to manage money?

Why is money important?

Apart from time, money is an essential resource that we will need for as long as we live. With money, we can buy the essentials and luxuries in life. We need money to pay for food, clothing, shelter and service. And without it, we couldn't get food.

Money is not everything

Some say that money isn't everything, and I agree. Money indeed isn't everything. There's more to life than just having money, but we must have money too to have options in life. For example, wouldn't you prefer to live in a comfortable home with its own garage, garden, toilet and bathroom, rather than live in a small space with shared toilet and bathroom? I would! If given a choice, wouldn't you want to send your children to the best school? Of course, you would! If unfortunately they became sick, wouldn't you want to send them to a private hospital with the best medical equipment and doctors, where they could get the best possible care? I'm sure you would too!

Money is not equivalent to happiness

Money too can't buy happiness -- I've met people who have millions in their bank account but every day they feel miserable because after working so hard for years to get that money, at the end of the day they do not have a family or someone special with whom they could share their achievement.

... Yet money is important

Like I said, money isn't everything but we need money to live comfortably and to have choices in life. The amount of money in our bank account will dictate our quality of life, and all of us always want the best out of life. It's only natural, because as we grow, we constantly want for better things. This is rooted to natural impulse of living. Like a seed growing to a plant, every day we must grow more and become more. Because, as the old adage goes, any person who stops growing is dead.

Having money helps us to grow and become And for us to grow, we require things to use. Do you want to become a
better piano player? Then read books or enroll in a piano lesson. Do you want to write better? Then rent or buy books so you can read more and improve your language skills. Do you want your kids to reach their maximum potential? Then let them try a lot of things so you would know where they are best at, may it be sports, music, art or anything! For all these things, we need money so that we can avail of the things that we need to improve.

Money is not evil

With these said, I hope you grasp the importance of money. Religion may teach you otherwise, but if you believe in a god, believe that the god wants what is best for you. And to attain your highest level of growth, god wants you to have a comfortable life. I don't believe that the god would like you to suffer. No one in their reasonable mind would wish this for you, because wishing such for you is tantamount to hoping that you would never grow, that you will retain whatever you have while the rest of the world goes on to become more and achieve more.

If it were true that god doesn't want you to have money for your sustenance and growth, it is directly opposite to what God has said through the parable of talents. You were given a life and talents, and if you choose not to harness them, they will be taken away from you. Money then, is important for us to have to help us in our path for growth. That is unquestionable.

While many of us are are dying to have lots of cash at hand, have you asked yourself what would you do once that time comes?

I ask this because financial experts found out that the problem with money starts and ends with -- no, not how much you earn -- but how you manage your money.

Manage money? Is that even necessary?

Yes, it is. Like everything else in life, money needs to be managed well. Are you handling your finances well? Below I wrote several questions for an initial checklist so that you know if you manage your money well or not, or if you are somewhere in between.

You have been working for years and you have had salary increase in the past. You were also promoted in your job before. But no matter how much you earn, you are almost always out of money before the next pay day comes. Yes or no?
You earn enough. But whenever you get extra money like a salary bonus, something always comes up like your partner's debt, or a school requirement of a family or a friend. To make a long story short, you end up spending your bonus income. Period. Yes or no?
I have a stable job but I have a small savings.Yes or no?
I have a stable job but I have no savings at all. Yes or no?
I earn enough but I feel I should earn more because the money is never enough. Yes or no?
I get an allowance bigger than most of my friends' but it's still not enough. Yes or no?
I'm not employed but I get paid for projects here and there. The pay is more than what most people earn in a month but I often find myself short on funds. Yes or no?
We had an emergency recently or in the past and I didn't have money to cover the expenses. Yes or no?

If you answered mostly yes to the questions below, then my friend, I am sad to say we need to work on your financial literacy, or your knowledge about money. It's true that money can work for you, and we will find out how you can stop running after money every month, and instead make money truly work for you. This is the key to become wealthy.

I will teach you lessons that I had to learn the hard way (by being employed and starting my own business). I will share with you valuable lessons about money in a simplified, step-by-step guide to mastering money management.

Treading the path to financial freedom two years later

After the nasty encounter with scammer and plagiarist DJ Clix* (I know your bad karma must be bogging you down by now,) I've found and became comfortable with a path that I believe, and as other have proven, truly leads to real financial freedom.

I admit when I succumbed to the idea of clicking ads, it was one of the lowest points in my life when I had the skills and time but I just wasn't making money. Clicking ads sounded easy and I gave in easily because I was in a vulnerable state.

Perhaps some of you felt like I did. It was like, do this to earn or be totally broke. In the real world, having a few dollars as income per month sounded more attractive than earning nothing at all.

But a few months after, I came across a group of people and several books which turned my belief and attitude towards money 360 degrees.

From a bum whiling away hours in front of a desktop computer, I have become -- through will, guidance and eagerness to learn from what I've found -- an independent professional earning five figures per months.

It's true, folks. That's why I've stopped posting here because suddenly, after the money started pouring in, neobux, clickbux and all ppc sites sounded like a terrible idea. Yes, there are people who earn from this, but why settle for cents when you can earn thousands? If I can do it, then you can, too!

No, this is not some crazy sales talk and I won't be selling you books or seminars. I came back her to pass on what I've learned because these were passed on to me too, and it's only right that I return the favor by helping others benefit from this knowledge.

But just as my friend often says, You take people as far as they will go, not as far as you would like them to go." So if you would really want to earn thousands online like I did, you have to make a CONSCIOUS DECISION TO TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND FOR THE BETTER.

That is all what you have to do. Choose and want for yourself the riches you deserve, then read on to the bombshells of information that only the selected few, the rich people, know about.

Proof that Learn to earn online is not a scammer

DJ Clix offered Learn to Earn Online money then calls us a scammer

So DJ Clix turned around after admitting his mistake. First he said "yes, I'm so sorry, what do you want?" blah blah and as you can clearly see from his email, HE offered me money. Then he's calling me a scammer for asking money.

If you can see the photo above, this is what he said:

Hi. This is a first message I read from you. OK...how much credits you want? What credits, money...?

Now a month later, after sending this message, I guess he thought "heck, this is a newbie! I can bully this person online," and so he goes around submitting my blog as a malicious site. Now he's harassing me, posting "stoopid" (sic.) messages on my chatbox.

But I won't close this blog down, for clearly I am no scammer. The tragedy here is blog owners usually believe those who spills the beans first. But later on, I can get them to know the truth. In time too, DJ, Clix, your karma will catch up on you. So good luck with your business and do other honest folks like me a favor, STOP VISITING THEIR SITES THEN COPY THEIR WORK AND HARASS THEM. You're like a bad employer; clients tend to believe them at first but in God's good time, your dirty ways and motives will be revealed.

Now, dearest DJ Clix, if you've noticed, I even extended you an undeserved courtesy to keep your identity a secret. If I were a terrible person like a hacker and a scammer as you claim me to be, I wouldn't have done so.

And by the way, you're such a waste of time. I'm blogging entirely about PTC from now on. I deleted my cbox since you're spamming me with baseless claims, and a plagiarist like you have no place in this blog.

Clix-club.com / DJ Clix Network plagiarizes my PTC blog

Clix-club.com + DJ Clix Network does plagiarism

When plagiarism strikes: Clix-club.com stole Learn to Earn Online content, my PTC website.

I give free tips about how to earn cash / money online, but if you want to use my work, give me credit for my work. If you want to know which of my work Clix-club.com plagiarized, read this post.

Stealing, lifting your work or article, and passing it as your own -- all points to one horrible thing for every writer, artist and idea source, plagiarism.

Two days have passed since I sent them a notice for catching them plagiarize my PTC website and still, there is neither apology nor a word from DJ Clix Network and Clix-club.com.

To its site administrators: So would you rather ignore me after you've done something terribly inappropriate and illegal than do what is right?!

Your actions or lack of it is forcing me to bring this out to the open, until you admit to your mistake, post an apology on your website and mine and credit your posted payment notice as my work.

I hope you, readers, will take an active stand about plagiarism. It's not about who is the plagiarist and the victim, it's about committing the illegal act. You know it's illegal and still people do it because the persons involved either think no one would notice or won't make a big fuss about it. But it IS a BIG DEAL! It's like taking your neighbor takes your kid out for a walk and later, he introduces your kids as his. That's how ugly and wrong plagiarism is.

No matter what the intention is, plagiarism is still illegal. You are stealing someone's work and ideas, someone else's brainchild and you think you can use it just because you like it?

Who knows if the next day, your blog post or article gets plagiarized?

I was plagiarized! My PTC website was copied!

Online plagiarism: DJ Clix Network and clix-club.com lifted my work and used it on their website!

Imagine my disgust when I saw my words, my phrases and my sentences posted on another website without due credit. To read it, click on the image below or check Clix-club's website here.

The highlighted phrases and sentences were lifted without my permission and without giving due credit to me by DJ Clix Network Team or Clix-club.com. This is their payment notice message to their members.

Now this was lifted from my original post below:

DJ Clix, as you'll see on my chatbox, is/was a visitor of my site. Less than a month later, I discovered this on their website. See how the words were merely rearranged? And what are the odds someone would come up with the sentence "Be human and stay human?" The words are the same, the sequence of words on the sentences and phrases are the same, only the sentences were rearranged. I've studied writing styles and analytical writing, so I know for sure that DJ Clix Network's payment notice was lifted.

Why, it's so obvious the words were lifted that they didn't even bother to edit the sentence. See, I wrote "PTC sites are armed with bot-detecting software," and on their site, they just took out "PTC sites" and pasted the rest of the sentence verbatim : "Clix-club.com are (sic) armed with bot-detecting software." They didn't even check the grammar! That was way too obvious.

DJ Clix plagiarized my work, not once, but twice --- first on June 14 and then on June 22, 2009. The harm has been done.

To DJ Clix Network Team and Clix-club.com, I hope that you have the decency to set this straight immediately. Those are my words, from my website, and you've clearly violated my intellectual rights, and that is a global intellectual property crime. I sent you a message (via your website's contact us link) and I am expecting your prompt reply and action.

Unless you set this straight by post a formal apology on your website and mine, and assigning credit to my on your payment notice, I will be forced to take legal actions.

To everyone else, be careful, stay on guard because someone might be stealing your work!

Internet surfers around the globe are picking up on PTC as a dollar-earning opportunity, and with the boom of eager users and cheap advertisers, PTC sites are sprouting like mushrooms.

But how do you check for paying PTC sites that are worth your time?

It's simple. Check how much the site pays for every click. Some PTC sites will give you $.01 per ad click, while others may add $.001 per click to your account. If you've seen PTC sites paying at these rates, then by all means, sign up and click away! BUT if a PTC site pays only $.0001 per ad click, forget it, the site isn't worth your time and effort.

Why, you ask for goodness sake. WHY? Let's take Phasebux (phasebux.com) for example. For every 25-second ad, it pays only $0.0001. Let's compute how long you'll need to earn $1 for viewing ads:

25-seconds per ad x ( $0.0001 x 10,000 ads) = $1
To get $1, you need to click on 10,000 ads

25 seconds x 10,000 ads = 250,000 seconds or 69 hrs., 26 min. & 40 sec.

So are you willing to spend 69 1/2 hours to earn $1.00?

Nah. I didn't think so too. That's almost three days for just a dollar! Why, you can earn 200% more with Neobux, Koobux and BuxWiz!

In the PTC business, time is money.

So next time you sign up to a PTC site, check first how much you'll make and how long it'll take to earn your target amount. From hereon, I'll be posting PTC sites that I think aren't worth our time. I'll be updating this regularly, so do drop often.

Clixsense: market-targeted ads, NOT a scam

After consulting with senior membrs of Clixsense, I found out that Clixsense, as a legit US company advertising on TV, is far from closing down or becoming a scam.

Clixsense has been running PTC ads for five years now and thought the number of ads dwindled from four to none (like in my case), it's still a good site to invest my time in. Due to circumstances, unfortunately for me who's located in the Philippines, many ads running on Clixsense require only US- and Canada-based users for market-relevant info.

But don't fret. Yet.

There's still hope for Asia-based Clixsense members. If you have an internet connection, better check for Clixsense ads at around 1AM or so. I tried it for two consecutive days and lucky me got three ads on both times!

Good luck and may you click on three Clixsense ads or more daily. :)

ClixSense: turning into scam?

UPDATE

Sadly, for three days straight, I haven't been getting any ads from ClixSense. Clixsense has been around for five (5) years now and it'll be a terrible disappointment if they stop paying now.

But of course I'm hoping for the best. Perhaps its advertising just stalled and will resume in a few days or so.

If your a fellow Clixsense clicker, take heed and hope this changes in the next few days. :D

Congratulations for reaching this lesson! You're now one step away from earning your first dollar.

Make your own online money account (Paypal and AlertPay). Understand that in PTC, your goal is to earn, and for you to receive money, you must first register for an online money account like Paypal and AlertPay. Think of Paypal and AlertPay as your online ATM card, only it's safer, because you will only need to give your Paypal or AlertPay email add to get paid.

So how do I do this?, you ask. It's simple! Follow the steps below:

How to make a Paypal account

1. Go to Paypal. Click on this link or paste "https://www.paypal.com/us/" on your browser.
Note that there's an Paypal uses "https" and not "http" like ordinary site. The extra "s" here denotes that the website is a secure site. Almost all secure and authentic payment websites use "https".

2. Under the "Personal" box, click the "Sign up" button:

3. Fill out the required information and click the "Agree and Create Account":

4. Check the email add you used in your Paypal account. Wait for the email asking to verify your Paypal account.

5. Click on the verification link. Return to Paypal and login to your account. Edit your profile and save.

Yay! Now you have your own Paypal account! You can use it this to purchase and receive payment from PTC sites and other online transactions like eBay.

Registering to pay-to-click (PTC) websites is like doing your own business. So before you begin, you should first understand every word or concept in this business.

But don't be overwhelmed by the words. Look it up here! This is your online pay-to-click site dictionary.

Alertpay - AlertPay is similar to Paypal account, it is an online money account used to purchase, receive and send money worldwide. Make your own AlertPay account here.

Banner - Rectangular posters used to promote PTC site. Each account or user has a unique banner that can be posted on websites and blogs to promote the site and get referrals. You can get the html code for banners from your "My Account" or "My Profile" page. Below are examples of banners:

Buck(s) - (also bux) slang for US dollar. 1 buck = $1.00

Earnings - Cash in US $ you earn from surfing ads or websites on PTC sites and from your referral's ad viewing. Rates range from $0.001 to $0.01 per ad view.

Cashout - Withdraw earnings from a PTC site. Every PTC site has different minimum cashout amount, so check first if you have reach that amount. Before cashing out your earnings, make sure that you've entered your correct Paypal or AlertPay email address to properly receive your money.

Hits - page views or number of times your website was viewed.

IP address - (short for Internet Protocol (IP) address ) is the unique ID of every computer connected to the internet. All PTC sites do not allow multiple accounts per computer and they can trace if two or more accounts are using the same computer via the IP address. If you violate this rule, your account will be banned and you will lose your cash. Again, do not share computers when surfing ads or you will lose you account and money. Don't think you're Robinhood, pal.

Password - Your secret pass to every online account. Enter your password with your username to login to your PTC account. Some PTC sites allow two passwords per account for higher security. For your sake and you wallet's, do not share your password with anyone. It's like sharing your ATM PIN and giving your money away.

Pay-to-click site - (also known as PTC) website that offers cash incentive in exchange for viewing or surfing websites or advertisements. Samples of PTC sites are Neobux, Valuebux, and Clickasia.

Paypal - A Paypal account is like an online credit card that can be used to purchase, receive and send money worldwide. Before registering on a PTC site, make your own Paypal account by clicking here.

Register - Sign up on a PTC site to start earning. Most PTC sites ask for a username, password, an email address (ex.: username@emailhost.com) where to forward updates and online money account (ex.: Paypal or Alertpay) to forward the payment (in US $). Remember, only registered users earn by surfing ads.

Shared computer - A big no-no in pay-to-click viewing. Each PTC account must use a unique or different computer or else, your account will be banned. So don't surf ads when using a public computer (in libraries or internet shops or cafes).

Surfing - Act of browsing sites on the internet. In PTC context, surfing means viewing a website and earns a registered user $0.001 to $0.01 per website. When logged in on a PTC site, surfing ads are also written as "browse ads" or "view ads." After viewing the ad, some PTC sites such as Clickasia require clicking or choosing the right number or answer above the ad view, just to make sure you're a human doing manual surfing and not a cheating bot.
IMPORTANT: Open just ONE (1) ad at a time or your ad viewing will not be credited to your account; and wait for the timer to finish before closing the window.

Traffic - Total number of hits or page views. A website's traffic summarizes the total page view and the unique page views daily, weekly and monthly. Increasing traffic will up your website's rank in Google and Yahoo Search and increase your ad sponsor earnings, such as Google Ad Sense and Nuffnang Ads (top advertising community for Asia-Pacific bloggers).

Traffic Exchange - Literally means exchanging website traffic: visit our ads this much and we'll give your website the same hits! For example, if you logged in on a traffic exhange website like www.easyhits4u.com, and viewed 25 ads in a given day, the traffic exchange website will also give your website 25 hits. Different traffic exchange sites have different traffic ratios. www.easyhits4u.com has 1:1 (1 ad view: 1 hit to your website) traffic exchange ratio while www.clicksia.com, and viewed has 5:4 ratio.
Traffic exchange is useful in increasing traffic or page views of your site.

User account - Your name used in registering on a PTC site (Ex: baneneng, godollar, etc.). You must input this along with your password every time you access your PTC account(s).

The internet is oozing with hundreds of pay-to-click sites that it is hard to tell which ones are real. Lucky for you I came up with this site and you won't have to go through trial-and-error before earning your first dollar online.

I admit, I'm relatively new at this. But like you, I'm optimistic that something good will come out of this, and that is, instant cash.
