This amazing piece of work was spotted by a passing motorist passing through Ludlow, Vermont. It is two stories high with an impressive likeness to our caped hero Batman in the front of a ski shop. Like Frosty, he won't stay for long, but I do wonder if he will be back some day!

Here is a video I made of some of the Batmobiles through the years. It seems that the Batmobile has always kept up with the latest technology of its time. Who knows what the future Batmobile will look like. But the one thing we do know is, that it will always be a favorite for Batman to fight crime in Gotham City. And besides, who could resist hot wheels like this to cruise the streets?

By far, this is one of my most favorite works done by Billy Gilson I love the most! His color scheme is wonderfully done, and bringing out Batgirl's true personality. Here, she looks as if she is saying, "Come on bad boy, give me your best shot!" He added a nice finishing touch with the shadows of bats flying in the background. Be Sure To Check It Out!

I find this picture fascinating for several reasons. Firstly, I love the colors Billy chose which gives it a vintage look. The next thing is the flow of his work. The way Batman is clutching his cape shows his hidden strength. And last of all, Gilson has his unique way of lighting and shading in the background. I always find this appealing.

I like this piece of work mainly for the fact Billy has captured the feeling of teamwork in this. Another thing, I like the look on Robin's face. Here he was able to shed that Sissy Boy look that seems to get tacked on to Robin. Great job, Billy!

Batman - what an important part of pop culture in the world. Batman is the darkest hero of the comic world, and perhaps his popularity is due to the fact that he is not a meta-human; he has no special abilities or powers other than his strength and intelligence, which have been developed through hard work and training.

Perhaps Batman's obsessive behaviour gives us a glimpse of what would happen if our little obsessive behaviours became overwhelming. Or maybe his dark side brings out the dark side of every person.

Maybe Batman's motivation is what draws us to him - his parents' tragic, senseless murder, and a man trying to make sure that no one in Gotham City has to undergo what he did as a child. Whatever the reason, Batman seems to be the most compelling character in comics, ever.

Bruce Wayne (Batman)

Bruce Wayne is a very rich man, who resides in Wayne Manor, on the outskirts of Gotham City. Wayne is the owner of Wayne Enterprises, a very large and successful company. Bruce's parents were killed by a mugger when Bruce was six, and the money that his parents' had was placed in trust, eventually becoming worth a lot. Bruce decided that no one should have to lose their loved ones to crime, and became Batman. During the day, however, Bruce effectively fools people into thinking that he is a rich, stupid fop.

Here are a few Batmobiles that caught my eye today. I hope you will enjoy them!

Like all the Batmobile models before it, the Super Friends Batmobile came heavily equipped with several on-board computers and a military-grade weapons artillery rivaled in coolness only by the machine-gun equipped Jeep in the The Rat Patrol.

Here's a guy in Sweden, that took a 1973 Lincoln Continental, a cool $1 million spent, and about 5 years crafting a full scale replica of the Batmobile. Now, perhaps we’ve been spoiled by years of high-resolution studio photographs of some of the most beautifully engineered cars in the business, but to our discerning eyes the Swedish Batmobile looks a little, uh, shop class. It took the guy 20,000 hours to build though.

Here is a classic Rich Chocolate Cake, torted with yellow special buttercream and crushed honeycomb. Styled with black painted chocolate fondant Batman resting ontop of the cake which is frosted with yellow special buttercream. One of the cool aspects that I love about this cake is that the maker gave the Bat symbol a face! I find this very original and unique. Hats off to Cupcaketastic!
