Sweet readers,
It's been one year since the Feather Report iPhone app launched, and a year and a half since this blog was born. We, the Feather Report girls, have *loved* styling you each and every day and solving your style conundrums. Without a doubt, you are the best readers. But, as with all good things, our dear Feather Report must come to an end.

The truth is, it takes Team Feather a lot of time to put together enough outfits for the blog and app every day... enough for everyone in the country, in fact!... and, well, that's a lot of work for just a few stylish gals. Just how many outfits are we talking? Well, to our count, we've designed roughly 2,200 outfits in the last year and a half. That's a lot of SHOES! And BAGS! You get the gist.

And so, we're saying goodbye to our sweet Feather Report. We will miss you tremendously, but we have a feeling we'll see you again... somehow, someway. If you have the iPhone app, you'll still be able to search for outfits, and you'll even see a look that matches your weather forecast every day—it just won't be a brand new look.

So, sweet peas, ta-ta for now. And the hugest, warmest hugs from me to my Feather Report girls: Jamie, Jenn, Lauren, and Jess. The Angels to my Charlie.

Most of all, thank YOU for your support, words of encouragement, and overall awesomeness since Feather Report first saw the light of day.

With Fashion Week still fresh in our minds, the Feather Report girls looked back to the Fall 2010 shows to pick our favorite right-now trends. And along the way a funny thing happened... a handful of looks from the 200-9 runways felt very much on-trend.

Case in point: this military-inspired look from Blumarine's Fall 2009 collection. It works today because it's an updated take on a classic.

What to Wear: Hip hop concert in NYC

Over the weekend, Caitlin emailed us with a fashion emergency: she was going to the Jay-Z / Eminem show in New York and had NO idea what to wear. Could we help? Course, punkin'!

We shot a couple ideas to our girl in the nick of time, but thought this look was too cute not to share. The ingredients—embellished black tank, skinnies, cute yet comfortable flats, and to-die-for accessories—are perfect for hours of dancing. Plus, it's the ideal getup for tailgating and walking around the city post-show.

Lauren rendered this outfit a "Play Hooky" look, mainly because of its relaxed shorts and not-so-big bag. However, on closer examination, we decided it simply must be included in this week's posts. Sky-high sandals would easily make this look more work-appropriate {we're obsessing over these and these}, plus with 75° weather, it's entirely justified to call out sick and enjoy the sun. {wink!}

Feather Report reader Adeline just embarked on a whirlwind trip from South Africa to the States, starting at San Fran and stopping off in LA, Vegas, Texas, and Manhattan.
