Allen High School Senior Pictures - Abbie

Abbie is in the CNA program at Allen High School, so she already has a cool job and she's not even out of high school much less entered into college. She has a ton of beautiful senior pictures and I'm showing just a few. I learn so much from my senior clients and I learned a little bit about the CNA program from Abbie; I've decided she must be really smart. It sounds grueling! Love you Abbie!

Five years ago, I did her sister Katie's senior portraits so this was a fun reunion when Mom, Dad and Katie came along for Abbie's senior portrait session. We also did some family portraits and I'll be showing some in another blog post.

Plano Senior Pictures: Kirstie

Kirstie's prom dress was a show stopper and every picture of this high school senior in her dress is incredible. Kirstie, her mom and I all agreed that her red satin prom dress channeled Jessica Rabbit; it really was something to see. Honestly, all of Kirstie's senior portraits are pretty amazing, I'm having a hard time deciding which senior pictures to show in this post. Kirstie had about 40 images to choose from when she ordered and it was not easy to pick the best, all of this high school seniors pictures were that good It's obvious that she spent a good bit of time planning her outfits and her accessories for her senior portrait photo session and the results look worth it to me. Kirstie attends high school in Lone Oak TX and in Commerce TX.

We did a few mother and daughter pictures, something I offer in conjunction with a senior pictures session at Ann Martin Photography and I'm showing one of my favorite mother daughter poses. It's clear where Kirstie gets her looks, mom looks darned good too. Our senior pictures sessions give you the option of a few in studio portraits with your family, if you discuss it with the photographer at your consultation so we can talk about what clothing works best for these relationship type images. Senior pictures are a wonderful time to get a family picture before your senior attends college and the family scatters.

Dallas Senior Pictures - Plano East Senior Pictures of Rebecca

This Plano East senior has a definite style of her own, and she can change it up, from cute to beautiful for her high school senior portraits. She has a good variety of senior pictures including everything from a formal dress to her band uniform to her jeans and converse shoes. She's on the drum line at Plano East Senior High, honestly I was so surprised that this tiny high school girl was carrying around a drum. I was lucky enough to photograph her older sister, Liz a few years back, I love it when I get to visit with families again and again. Best of luck, Rebecca, you were fun and fashionable too!

Plano Senior Pictures Photography {Dallas Texas Senior Portraits}

Lauren lives in Plano and attended The Covenant School of Dallas. We did this senior portrait session in August. The temperatures were well over 100 as they often are in Dallas in the month of August. Normally I'd insist on rescheduling as it's hard to look beautiful in extreme heat, but her sister also had her photo scheduled that day and was going overseas in three days. Well, Lauren and her sister STILL looked beautiful, even in the August heat, and that's a hard feat to pull off.

I'm showing just a few of this high school senior's beautiful pictures, don't you agree that her senior pictures are beautiful and her hair is simply incredible?

Modeling Headshots { Plano Headshots Photographers}

Andrew came in to the Plano studio for a few modeling headshots. This one is my favorite of all the portraits we took that day. Notice the cool circle of light in his pupils, that's a result of the ring light I used for this particular picture. He looks fabulous! Best of luck in your modeling career, Andrew.

Portraits of Gaye {Plano and Dallas Photography}

I was excited about this portrait session from the moment I learned that Gaye was an educator/administrator at the college level in the field of art and on top of all that, she lives and works in Plano. We chatted about what she was looking for in her portraits at her consultation and when it was all said and done, I knew this photo shoot was a big success. I absolutely loved working with Gaye, she is a lot of fun and we laughed and talked all the way through this special portrait session. Here's a small sampling of her many gorgeous pictures.

Gaye has an air of assurance about her that translated to images in a big way. These headshots and full legnth photos are representative of her true personality. She is exactly as she seems. Gaye, you're beautiful and your pictures are true to your gracious manners and natural self assurance.

Paige attends Plano West Senior High School in Plano where she's active in the FFA , I believe through Veterinary Medical Assistant courses. I ask that senior girls bring their prom or homecoming dress; look at those super tall heels she's carrying in her prom dress photo, aren't they great? I feel like I know Paige, I've photographed her several times with her family, but this was special, senior pictures are always special, but it's even more so when it's a senior I've had the opportunity to photograph as they grow up and enjoy their personality and the energy that only teenagers possess. Thanks Paige, it's always a fun day when your family is involved!

Allen High School Senior Pictures {Dallas Texas Senior Pictures Photography}

Nick just graduated from Allen High School; a few years ago, I also took his sister's senior portraits. The day started off really overcast, so much so that we decided to waste some time waiting for the clouds to lift a bit as we had a bite of breakfast. The whole shoot was like that, full of unexpected twists and turns. Nick can do some mean Will Ferrell impressions, which he'll just pull up out of nowhere and that kept the whole photo session on a fun note. We encountered some construction, some feral kitties, and Nick's allergies were acting up to top it off. After all that, look at his senior pictures, they're great! I really do love this family, mom Barbara and I really hit it off. Love you guys, stay in touch!

Plano Senior High School Senior Pictures {Plano photography}

Dylan's graduating from Plano Senior High School and attending Texas Tech in the fall. She showed up for her senior portraits with a temporary cast on her foot! It was absolutely amazing that she was able not only to keep her appointment with a fractured heel, but she made it work and made all her poses work really well. Her senior pictures are simply beautiful. Notice her hair, she wore it straight for most of the outdoor portion of the shoot, then put it up for a bit and when we got in the studio, she curled and styled it into another beautiful look. Dylan, you're something else, I absolutely loved taking your senior portraits.

It shows in your senior pictures, when high school seniors prepare like Dylan did, carefully selecting their wardrobe and accessories and makeup. Dallas Senior Pictures Photographer {Dallas Senior Pictures}

Here's more of Haley's senior pictures as promised. She's a senior from Plano East and I've also had the pleasure of photographing her brother for his senior pictures several years ago. In the first picture, she's wearing a belt buckle that she won for her prize cow and leaning against the FFA cattle trailer......it really makes a nice backdrop and it's special because it's special to Haley. Personalized photo shoots are what our senior portraits are all about. It's easy to see how comfortable she is in this environment.

Don't you love the studio portrait showing her beautiful western belt, (it's a fancy crystal encrusted leather belt, I think it's a BB Simon brand belt), with her prize belt buckle from FFA and some of the ribbons she's won in FFA; this is probably my favorite of all her senior pictures. Her cowboy boots are pretty cute too. I always love when girls bring their prom dress so we can do some beautiful prom dress poses. You look fabulous, Haley!

Business Headshots - Beth {Plano Texas headshot photography}

Beth came in to get realtor headshots. She knew to dress in solid colors and we gave her a variety of looks by using her jacket in some pictures and just the blouse in others. I like to give business headshot clients the option to have a few different crops from each image, since these headshots will be used for various purposes, such as business cards, websites and possibly brochures or other business literature.

Dallas Senior Pictures - McKinzie

Mackenzie is the Drill Team captain at Trinity Christian Academy, and her senior pictures show, once again, that dancers really do have an edge when it comes to posing beautifully in their senior portraits. Portrait of the author Luke Lively {Plano Texas Headshots Photography}

I had the privilege of photographing author, Luke Lively for the the photo on the book jacket of his novel, "A Questionable Life" published by Beaufort Books. He is warm and engaging to talk with, you'll think you've known him for years after speaking with him a few minutes.

The close of the year is a good time for reflections, and the perfect time to read Luke Lively's first novel. I just finished this author's book, "A Questionable Life" myself and highly recommend it. I read it in two sittings; it was hard to put down. It's a story about a banker and this inside look at the banking industry is timely and fascinating. During the headshot photo session, I asked the author what his book was about, and he replied, "it's a tale of redemption". I can't sum it up better than that.
"A Questionable Life" is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders, etc.

Austin, The Third Graduate I've Photographed From His Family {Plano Photographer}

It's hard to choose just a few images to post to the blog from Austin's senior portrait session because he had so many amazing senior pictures. I've had the pleasure of photographing all three boys from his family for their senior pictures. Austin attended several high schools in the Dallas area; Prestonwood Christian Academy was one of the schools; both his brothers graduated from Prestonwood. It's remarkable how much these three brothers resemble each other in their senior portraits. Austin modeled professionally in Dallas when he was in his mid teens, so he was easy to direct and lot of fun to work with. All three brothers have great personalities and those personalities come through in their senior photos.

Plano West Senior Pictures {Plano Senior Photography}

Meagan swam for C.O.P.S. and was on the Plano West Senior High School swim team. She's now swimming For Texas A&M. We did a lot of different pictures with her swim gear that included the Team USA LZR RACER suit. Meagan's beautiful and talented so it was easy to make sure she had variety in her senior pictures; we even went to the natatorium where the Plano West Senior High School Wolves Swim Team practice and shot some photos in front of the leader board with all Megan's swim records posted in the background. Let me tell you, Meagan's name was on that board a lot! This was a great senior portrait session and I'm thrilled Meagan brought her swim gear!
