There is a person named Muhammad Ayub who is a government servant and lives in Islamabad. He’s an ordinary looking man but what made him different and great from others is the knowledge he has been giving to children who couldn’t even think of going to school and didn’t know what education is from the last 28 years! Yes, this school was established back in 1981 by Mr.Ayub. Initially Mr. Ayub started teaching two or three children who were either working in workshops or were wandering alone on streets. There wasn’t any proper building or even room for the school but that didn’t come in way of Muhammad Ayub and he taught children in public parks. Till now up to five thousand children have been educated and many of them are even working in different fields of life. Teachers who are now working with Mr.Ayub are either his students or some volunteers. Some of his students who are teaching with him are also studying at colleges. This great person who’s been teaching since 28 years never asked any children for a single penny. If anyone gives something it is used for the benefit of the children. Government has never helped this person and I think he didn’t need that too! When one is true in the cause Allah always help him. We must learn lesson from Muhammad Ayub and thank God there are still people present on this earth like him. We can hope for the betterment of our country!

Mobilink gave a good start

In collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Deaf and the Disabled Welfare Association, Mobilink has initiated Pakistan’s first mobile handset recycling program to provide equal benefits to the people with hearing-impaired problem.
