I do not count myself as a medium, but purely someone who might be sensitive. I am 34 and a senior IT manager with a healthy level of scepticism. By being a member of BirminghamIU, I now have the opportunity to meet people who have experienced similar events and to channel what I have. I have been described as a radio on full blast and apparently I have to turn myself down.

This short video shows an unexplained light anomaly caught while Gareth decided to hold a lone vigil in one of the bedrooms at the property which we suspect is paranormally active. There was no light sources on apart from the infra-red emitter from the camcorder itself which produces a wide beam that illuminates the whole of Gareth, producing nothing like the anomaly itself. The cause of the anomaly definitely goes down as unexplained and possibly paranormal in nature.

To get to the churchyard itself we normally walk across a public bridleway for about 10 minutes walk across the countryside. On starting the walk, Gareth, one of our psychic mediums explained how he was receiving some sort of psychic warning and felt very uncomfortable like we was in some sort of danger. After discussing his feelings, we decided as a team to continue, but by staying extra vigilant ensuring all our radios were on and ready. As we continued walking about 150 yards from the road at the start of the bridleway, we suddenly noticed a very bright light from behind. We turned around to see 2 cars had driven down the empty cul-de-sac leading to the bridleway and were attempting to drive as far as they could down the path until the bridleway was too narrow. The headlights from the cars was blinding. For about 2 seconds the nearest car dipped his headlights, but then put them back onto full beam after obviously spotting us a few seconds later. We all felt in danger and decided to walk back towards them and civilisation rather than to continue walking down the bridleway into the countryside, far away from any housing. As we walked closer the cars turned around and spun off away at high speed, like they really didn’t want us to catch their registration plates. We were left wandering if these vehicles were parked innocently or whether the occupants were up to something much more sinister.

Gareth believed from his physic warning that we’d just disturbed something quite sinister, like an exchange between vehicles at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. He still felt very uneasy as if the warning wasn’t yet completely over, but after a discussion we decided to continue to our destination anyway staying even more vigilant. As we approached towards the end of the bridleway I saw a car in the distance going down the small country road past the church which was our destination. This road this normally so quiet it’s rare to even see a car as it ultimately leads to a farm and a dead end.

During the investigation in the churchyard, Gareth still felt very uneasy and we were all extra vigilant and uneasy. After about 20 minutes we all heard a car coming back down the road, possibly the same car I saw heading towards the farm earlier. We all stayed quiet and turned our lights out as a precaution and waited for the car to disappear into the distance. The engine revved and was quite distinctive from the vehicle, Gareth pointed out that the engine sounded exactly like one of the original cars that spun off earlier. After about 5 minutes we decided to head home and got out of the area without incident. Gareth felt that we may have disturbed a possible deal / exchange and the people were very annoyed, he went on later to explain that he felt one of the vehicles was looking for us. If this was true we was obviously in extreme danger, this can’t be proven 100%, but the psychic warning still wasn’t over yet.

During our journey back, Gareth still felt rather uneasy and thought that something was still wrong. We arrived home to see various fire engines and ambulance vehicles outside our home. One of the residents in our block left a candle burning in his flat which had knocked over starting a fire. We are acting fire marshalls for the building, but as we was out we weren’t able to respond. Luckily this fire was extinguished before it caused serious damage and more importantly, no-one was seriously hurt, but Gareth was then convinced that he felt very uneasy because of this and once the emergency services had dealt with the incident, Gareth was back to normal.

This is the 2nd time Gareth has had a suspected psychic warning at our property. A few months ago Gareth has a similar warning, feeling very uneasy and said that the emergency services will be here tonight. We all sat tight throughout the evening and late at night the fire alarm started. We responded as acting fire marshalls for the flats to find thick smoke on the 1st floor landing. We called the fire brigade and entered the property effected just in time to stop the resident from attempting to extinguish a cooking oil fire under the tap. If she had done this, it would have caused a flash over and anyone nearby including myself could have been killed or certainly seriously burnt.

In future when Gareth has a psychic warning we will treat it even more seriously.
