Hex color opens the colour picker as a stand alone application so you can save colours without having to open an iLife or iWork application first. We all love time machine and for most people having no control of their backups is a blessing in disguise. I suppose that the point of time machine is that we don’t have to think about backing up.

I just cant get used to Spaces. I think I need stuff to be totally separate and that is where Virtue Desktops is very useful. It gives you the chance to have totally independent desktops and docks and its completely free.

I have tons of serials and like a good little mac user have them backed up in my keychain. its just not pretty!

License Keeper is a beautifully designed app simply for storing software serials and license. As more and more software developers are using different methods of authorisation it lets you attach files and documents also (many apps now use a downloaded file to authenticate the license).
