In 2012 we will continue our “Graphic Facilitation Inspiration Sessions”. Our two first “Basic GF” themes had more than 50 participants each time and we will therefor host one more with same content. Then will follow various “themes” which have been requested – please add your requests here.

Increased Attention On Graphic Facilitaiton In Denmark

Today we are in the news: http://borsen.dk/arkiv/artikel/3194843/ The article describes how Graphic Facilitation is a field in rapid growth. Article two today is about how Exec. MBA students at http://www.avt.dk/ are trained to use visualisation to be better engage employees. And not just about visuals – but how these simple techniques is a true leadership skill.

Over the recent 2 years it is clear that there is a move on in the field. And that there are many different ways to go about using visual techniques and tools to enhance communication and engagement. The banking, pharmaceutical and transportation sector is catching the trend. So is the NGO and educational sector.

We invite everyone interested in “Graphic Facilitation” to come and hear about this field in rapid growth. The event will be in Danish. We will give a short overview of the field, go through some exercises and discuss application.

Just back from www.ifvp.org #aloha2011 with a lot of new ideas. Will be posting as soon as able to get all social media aligned.

Global Community Gathering

Once a year the global community of visual practitioners gather at the “IFVP Conference”: A 3-4 day meeting of practitioners and thinkers from across the field. Some are very new to the filed, some has been there since the beginning, most are from North America but more and more are from around the world. It is a treat for visual people. You will learn new stuff, get tricks for your facilitation style and explore future possibilities with the best in the field.

This year Bigger Picture will be a whole team joining. We will be bringing our latest knowledge around training in graphic facilitation, using video for delivering to clients and using multitouch screens in change work. We look forward to learn from all the great people participating and advise anyone who is thinking about or already into the field, to join the growing numbers from around the world.

This time the location is in Hawaii – a lousy destination, but someone has to go….Looking forward to see you there. You can read more here.
