TEDx Copenhagen took place September 18th 2012 in Bremen Theater. We decided to approach the concept of a TEDx Event by thinking: How might we show what a full event feels and looks like? We also want to showcase a way in which visual practitioners can support great ideas in being spread.

Every year Bigger Picture donates 10% of their profit to work with projects nationally and internationally.

March 14th, 2013, we invited 20 volunteers from Operation Dagsværk (Operation a Day’s Work) to attend the Bigger Picture four hour crash course. Operation Dagsværk is a Danish organisation that  informs the Danish youth about the educational challenges around the world. Every year Operation Dagsværk mobilize tens of thousands of Danish high school students to give up a day of their education in order to raise funds for educational projects around the world.

This is a 3½ minute introduction to our approach to Graphic Facilitation training. We deliver ½ day crash courses introducing to our methodology and helping you to rediscover how to use visualisation in meetings and processes. We also deliver a 3 modules course of 6 days intense training. Our trainging builds on 10+ years of experience in the filed and our own methodology. You will learn 7 basic elements of visualising processes and how to make them work together. You will discover your own visual language and become skilled at continously building it and finally you will learn how to use visual techniques and tools to facilitate groups toward shared understanding.

Every year Bigger Picture donates 10% of their profit to work with one or more projects around the world.

This year we decided to go to Jerusalem for four days and work with grassroots organisations training them in mastering the art of strategic engagement using visual thinking, visual process design, graphic facilitation and visual communication for them to use in their communities.

The video is made by Bigger Picture. It is our subjective perspective on the talks and the entire event. Each presenter has seen the visuals created at the event, which has served as the foundation for the video. We hope that everyone portrayed find it valuable.
