From the  official CBS Big Brother 15 promos released so far, we haven’t really picked up much in the way of spoilers yet. The only tease we’ve gotten from the commercials at this point is the promise of this being the “wildest season ever.” But don’t they kind of swear to that in some form every single year?

We’ll have to wait and see if host Julie Chen is talking about something special about Big Brother 2013, or if this is just the standard spiel in slightly different packaging. Check out the new Big Brother 15 extended promo below and let us know what you think!

Our pals over at BigBrotherNetwork.com have dug up exclusive spoilers that the Big Brother 15 cast will be all new, with no repeat HouseGuests from previous seasons. Now, we don’t have anything against veteran players, of course, but after several seasons of watching the same faces be recycled over and over, we’re ready for all the nitty gritty, dirty fun of a completely virgin cast of HouseGuests.

Of course, we must emphasize these Big Brother 15 spoilers about the cast — while reportedly coming from a very reliable source — must always be taken with a grain of salt until officially confirmed. We are really hoping they are true though!

When asked directly about the spoilers, Big Brother casting director Robyn Kas told BBN it is “way too early to comment on this” at this point in the casting process. Producers at Big Brother don’t like to be boxed in and have been known to change their minds about casting and other aspects of the show at the last minute. (Note the mysteriously vanishing cast member of BB13  who was interviewed by the press as part of the initial Big Brother 13 cast and then disappeared to never be heard from again…) As Robyn told BBN, “We still have time to figure things out.”

Ah, the joys of not knowing anything about any of the Big Brother 15 cast members except what we can scrounge up from stalking their pasts on the Internet, how much fun is that? This is one Big Brother spoilers leak we are really hoping will come true!

After thirteen years of running the Big Brother live feeds through RealNetworks SuperPass, CBS now plans to host the 24-hour behind-the-scenes video access directly through CBS.com. Details of how it is all going to work are still sketchy at this point, but on the user end, things should hopefully work pretty much the same overalll. According to CBS, it will be a “New Season. New Home. Same Feeds.”

As far as we know at this time, CBS has no plans to change the Big Brother Live Feeds from being a paid subscription service. Maintaining a 24-hour surveillance and video crew isn’t cheap, after all. Plus, the network is very aware that the Big Brother Live Feeds referral program supports sites like this one, which will deliver news, updates and the latest content on Big Brother 15 all season long. The strong community of Big Brother fan sites and their vocal and interactive readers are part of why Big Brother keeps its massive audience year after year and CBS isn’t likely to want to mess with that.

Despite fears that the Big Brother 15 live feeds will experience more blackouts or technical issues with CBS behind the wheel, we’re actually hoping the opposite will be true. With new hands steering the feeds, we’re hoping for technical improvements that will actually make watching all the action live and uncensored will be more fun than ever. Also, let’s not forget that some blackouts are just going to happen no matter what because the network does have to save some footage to air exclusively for those three nights a week of CBS Big Brother 15 on TV, right?

We bid a fond farewell to the folks over at RealNetworks, who have given us many, many hours of awesomeness and great original programming over the years. We’ll let you know if they still plan on continuing to host their special Big Brother mini-shows, live chats and other content as soon as we know.

In the first official Big Brother 15 promo, the video starts off with the tagline “Go Big with an all new season of Big Brother.” Host Julie Chen pops up to tell us it will be “the wildest season ever,” which is something Julie has probably said at some point about every season of the show in history. We can hope, of course, that she really means it this time!

After another short montage from BB14, featuring Brittany Haynes looking scary and Wil Heuser making claw hands, our first official Big Brother spoilers clue closes out the promo. As the video ends, the words “Go Big” flash over images of hot guys and girls posing, followed by “Big Brother Season Premiere Wednesday June 26” next to a still of a half-naked girl in a bikini. Because, you know, we’re all about the Big Brother bikini shots!

So what does “Go Big” mean? Well, according to Big Brother 2013 spoilers directly from the mouth of host Julie Chen, the upcoming season is going to have “more HouseGuests than ever.” Yes, even more than the sixteen HouseGuests in BB9 or BB14. So, if CBS isn’t messing with us, we should expect at least seventeen Big Brother 15 cast members. Which fits, of course, with the earlier Big Brother 2013 premiere date and longer season this year. 

As commenter “Dudejerome” said on YouTube about the new Big Brother 15 promo: “More weeks, more housemates and more reasons to watch! I’m pumped up!”

In a new twist this year, Big Brother 15 will be starting earlier than any previous season. The 2013 premiere will take place on June 26 at 9 PM ET on CBS. The good news for fans is, the season is still expected to end around the same time. So the Big Brother 15 cast will be on your screens for longer than ever before!

There are some other big changes in store this season for Big Brother 2013. According to host Julie Chen, who will be returning this season, there will be “more HouseGuests than ever.” We had sixteen players in season 9 and season 14. So that means at least seventeen Big Brother 2013 cast members.

This season will also be the first time Big Brother USA is filmed in high-definition, so you can see every grainy pore on all those gorgeous model’s contestant’s faces.

Heads up! There will also be some changes to the Big Brother live feeds this year. CBS has decided to pull the live feeds under the network blanked instead of having them handled by Real Networks SuperPass. Right now the information we have indicates that little will change about the feeds other than where fans will be watching them. We’re honestly hoping for a big improvement in the quality of the feeds, with less blackouts, when they are handled directly by the source.

There may, of course, also be less nudity if CBS is wanting to maintain their family friendly reputation as a brand now that the feeds won’t be through a third-party source… which would be a shame, but we think we’ll adjust if the quality overall is better!

The word came this week at the Television Critics Association where we discovered not only is Big Brother going to premiere a full two weeks before it’s usual premiere date, but that the weekly scheduled has changed. The show will be broadcast three nights weekly, but this year it’s Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 2), the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen will be broadcast on Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 3) and Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning June 30). The Wednesday live eviction show will move to 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT on July 17.

Did you get all that?

The speculation can now commence. Will we get an extended season since of the early start? Will we have more houseguests? Will things change completely?

Not likely.. but as always, expect the unexpected!

We crowned Ian Terry the winner of Big Brother 14 almost four months ago, it’s magical how time flies. Now we’re in the throws of the holiday season.. getting through it and waiting for our next hit of Big Brother. But this year, we won’t have to wait till the summer!

Slice in Canada has decided to put on their very own Big Brother premiering February 27, 2013. There will be fourteen Canadian houseguests from all walks of life moving into the house this February for a three month long power struggle to see who will be crowned the first Big Brother Canada winner!

What else do we know? Here it is:

• The show premieres Wednesday, February 27 on Slice. It will air three nights a week (Wed @ 9 pm, Thurs @ 10 pm, Sun @ 9 pm)
• Big Brother Canada: After Dark will show an uncut feed direct from the house on Slice every night starting at 2am EST. Since the house is in the eastern time zone, we’re not sure what will be happening in the house at 2am. Maybe lots of sleep.
• The house is being built in a suburb of Toronto in a wearhouse. The house looks BIG. It’s also got all those cameras and microphones that the Big Brother house is known for. Check out Photos here. Watch a video of the house.
• No host has been announced yet.
• According to the Facebook Page there WILL be live streaming available:
  “Fans of Big Brother Canada will be able to connect with the series outside of the 3-day-a-week broadcast through a myriad of digital extensions including live streaming and social engagement opportunities that allow online users to impact decisions in the house.”
• Promos for the series have already started airing featuring two former BBUS houseguests, Mike “Boogie” Malin and Dr. Will Kirby:

• No word on if the series will be broadcasted in the US, or if the live streaming will be available to us. We will will keep you posted.

When the Big Brother 14 season started, veteran houseguest Dan Gheesling was only supposed to be a coach, not a regular player. Once he was thrown into the regular game, he played it cool at first, subtly influencing his former player Danielle Murphree to become his closest ally. Eventually Dan went into full force manipulation mode and when he managed to ‘mist’ his nemesis Frank Eudy into saving him from eviction (using ally Jenn Arroyo‘s Power of Veto), he became the master of the Big Brother 14 house. Now, at the Big Brother 14 finale, it may take a miracle to prevent Dan Gheesling from becoming the houseguest who won Big Brother 14.

In our Big Brother 14 cast bios from the start of the season, we noted that Danielle Murphree could end up being a ‘Jordan Lloyd‘ type player who allies herself with a strong alpha male, which turned out to be the case on two counts. Not only has she fostered a psuedo showmance with Shane Meaney, but she also ended up with veteran player Dan Gheesling as a partner and mentor. Our initial evaluation of Danielle was: “…a strong bet on this one for the jury house, and she could even be a winner if the others don’t see her as a threat quickly enough to get her out before the final two.”

Danielle Murphree could indeed end up still winning this thing if the stars collide in a strange fashion tonight in the Big Brother 2012 finale, although I personally think she’s the least likely of the three remaining houseguests to take home the big prize. If she doesn’t, win she will certainly be a voice in the Big Brother 14 jury house. So we’re chalking our predictions for Danielle at the start of the season as good ones. I’m still curious to know, if Dan ended up in the final 2 with Danielle, and she ended up winning… would he have a case to make that he should still be awarded the $100,000 coaches’ prize?

As for Ian Terry, he was harder to peg at the beginning of the season, although we did note in his Big Brother 14 cast bio: “Ian could make it very far indeed if he does manage to get in that strong alliance he wants…” That, of course, is exactly what he managed to do by co-founding the ‘Quack Pack’ alliance with Dan Gheesling, Danielle Murphree, Shane Meaney and Britney Haynes (and later reforming it after Britney was eliminated). However, we also noted that: “If the other players are wise, they will probably want him in their alliance as he could prove loyal and helpful, but likely isn’t winner material.” Right now that loyalty and helpfulness may prove to be Ian’s downfall if he ends up being responsible for Dan being in the final 2.

In a Dan versus Ian situation, the outcome is very chancy indeed. Dan has played this game and the other houseguests like a fiddle and the jury may reward his audacity and manipulation. On the other hand, he burned a lot of bridges and did a lot of nasty things to get to the end and the jury members may decide to punish him for it by giving their votes to Ian instead — especially since Ian made some pretty good game moves as well (even if a lot of them were dictated by Dan).

In the first round of the final Head of Household Competition, Dan Gheesling’s masterful ‘misting’ of Danielle Murphree and Ian Terry continue. He somehow manages to actually convince both Ian and Danielle to throw the round to him. Ian did it as part of his deal with Dan to have Shane evicted instead of him. Danielle is just under Dan’s thumb, at least for now.

On the Big Brother live feeds, Danielle went through a lot of panic about having to go up against Ian in round 2. Turns out she was right to be afraid as Ian manages to pull out the win in the second round of the final Head of Household contest. (I’m Team Ian, so yayayayay – flame as you will.)

Dan gives his congrats to Ian in front of Danielle. Danielle tells Ian that if he takes Ian to the final two she will poison the jury against him. (She seems to think she has a lot of power… she doesn’t… or she is just making empty threats and knows it.) Ian is NOT happy about being threatened. Dan is pleased at the fight — which he staged — because he wants Ian to throw the first round. His plan is to end up with Ian being the one to get Danielle out and not him.

In the Jury House, the evicted houseguests are waiting to see who comes in next. Shane Meaney walks in and he reveals that Danielle used the Power of Veto to save Dan, which ended up with Shane being backdoored and evicted. Chef Joe Arvin and Britney Haynes agree that Ian has played a great game. Shane says Ian backstabbed Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin and he doesn’t want to vote for him. Jenn Arroyo says Ian makes her sick, he is a rat. Everyone agrees that Dan has played the hell out of the game.

The third round of the final Head of Household Competition is up next and this one is live. Whoever wins this round will have the opportunity to decide who they will take with them to the final 2.

Here we go! It is Dan versus Ian for the final round of the Head of Household Competition:

• Round 1: Both get it right.
• Round 2: Both get it right.
• Round 3: Ian gets it right.
• Round 4: Ian gets it right.
• Round 5: Ian gets it right.
• That’s it. Ian wins the round.

OMG OMG Ian won! Ian will be in the final two! (Did Dan throw the round like he said he would on the Big Brother live feeds… let’s hope Danielle doesn’t notice mister or you could be in trouble!)

After Ian wins, he has to make the choice of who he is going to take to the final 2. He has had a final 2 pact with Dan Gheesling for ages. However, the best game move would be to evict Dan because Ian has a better chance of betting Danielle in the final 2.

Ian decides his loyalty comes first and he finally decides he is going to evict Danielle, leaving him up against hardcore veteran player Dan Gheesling in the final 2. Dan has already own $500k once on Big Brother. Is he about to do it again?

The Big Brother 14 Jury members enter to ask their final questions of Dan and Ian. Ian may just explode on live television. He is that amped up. After the questions, it will be time for the final vote.

Ashley Iocco wants to know if Ian made his own decisions with his game moves and forming the Quack Pack alliance that made it all the way to the final five. Ian says he did, but Dan tries to disagree and take credit. Frank Eudy says that lying and backstabbing in the game is just part of the deal, but swearing on his wife and the bible is taking it too far. Dan says he has no regrets, it is all about winning.

Jenn says he does not like rats and snitches. Ian says he just needed to make sure he was getting the information to flow how it needed to for his game play. Joe wants to know what blood Dan has on his hands. Dan says everyone’s. He says he lied to everyone, he backstabbed everyone and screwed the house with his own ‘funeral’ but he had to do it all because of how well everyone was playing. (I call bullshit.)

Britney wants to know why Ian should win and he says he played at least a somewhat cleaner game than Dan did. When Shane asks him why he should win, Dan says he should win because he wasn’t being controlled the whole time like Ian was. (Ouch!) Danielle wants to know if Ian knew Dan had a final 2 deal with her. Ian says Dan gave him his grandfather’s gold cross as proof he wouldn’t betray their final 2 deal.

Now the final 2 houseguests will make their last ditch speeches in an effort to convince the jury to take them to the final 2. I can’t recap everything here, but I was pretty impressed with Ian’s speech. Dan also gives quite the speech as well, but are those disbelieving looks on the faces of the Jury members when they are listening to Dan??? Or is that just CBS production trying to convince us Dan is not going to win (by coaching the Jury how to act) so we will be shocked and awed when he does? I do prefer not to believe in the conspiracy theories… Regardless, it is time now for the vote!

First, of course, we have the parade of previously eliminated houseguests. Even Jodi is there! Poor Jodi, who never even got to stay overnight in the BB14 house. Willie Hantz is not, of course, one of those returning houseguests as he was banned after his nasty bitchfight with Chef Joe Arvin.

Janelle Pierzina calls out Danielle for all her lies. She also says Dan is one of the best players of the game ever. Frank says he does not respect how Dan played the game. Mike Boogie says he thinks Dan played an amazing game but he also has total respect for Ian’s journey in the house this season.

Shane wants to know if Danielle knew he was going to be evicted. She says no (but she totally really did, you know it). Shane wants to know why Dan did that to him. Dan says Shane was too much of a threat.

Finally it really is time for the votes and here we go!

Big Brother 14 – Jury Votes

• Ashley votes for Ian to win.
• Britney votes for Ian to win.
• Frank votes for Ian to win.
• Joe votes for Ian to win.
• Jenn votes for Ian to win.
• Shane votes for Ian to win.
• Danielle votes for Dan to win.

And the Big Brother 14 winner is… underdog Ian Terry! Congrats! Wow, he may just keel over right there! Congrats Ian!

Amazingly enough, Frank Eudy is chosen as America’s Favorite player and awarded $25,000. That actually shocks me because he was booed by the live audience every time he was in front of them and no one I talk to likes him at all. Oh well. He obviously has his fans somewhere…

Tonight on the Big Brother 14 finale, starting at 9:30 PM ET/PT, the last three houseguests will battle it out in the final Head of Household Competition. Whoever wins round one will get to skip ahead to round 3 of the competition. The houseguest that loses out in round 2 will be at the mercy of the two winners and their scheming.

Rounds 1 and 2 of the final Head of Household Competition have already played out and the Big Brother 14 spoilers for those came out on the Big Brother 14 live feeds. We won’t give you those spoilers here just in case you prefer not to know, but let’s just say things are going to get VERY interesting tonight before we go into round 3 of the competition live.

Once the final 2 houesguests are revealed, they will have to make their cases to the Big Brother 14 finale Jury. There will be seven votes available to earn: Ashley Iocco, Britney Haynes, Frank Eudy, Joe Arvin, Jenn Arroyo, Shane Meaney and the third place houseguest who will be evicted tonight.

If the vote comes down to Dan versus Danielle, who won Big Brother 14 will come down to whether or not the jury vote is ‘personal’ or based on game play.

Danielle could end up as the Big Brother 14 winner if some of the evicted houseguests decide they want ‘revenge’ against Dan Gheesling for dirty game play or want to give the win to a new player. Ashley might vote for the newbie, Frank might vote against Dan out of spite over his betrayal of their final 2 deal. Jenn might decide to support the girl over the guy, and Joe and Shane are most likely to vote for Danielle.

On the other hand, Frank might be over his anger toward Dan and vote purely on game play. Ashley might choose to give her vote based on game play as well. Jenn could possibly vote for Dan despite her eviction. The balance of power shifts quickly if the houseguests decide to reward the best game player and in that case, Dan wins it.

In a Dan versus Danielle scenario, my personal Big Brother 14 finale prediction is for Dan to take the win. If he does lose out to Danielle, I wonder if he could make the case to still take home that $100k coach prize for getting his player to the winner’s circle? Hmmmm.

If the vote comes down to Dan versus Ian, I think the vote is less sure for Dan because Ian has also made some big moves in the game (although Dan admittedly had his hands in there for most of them). Perhaps that is just wish-fulfillment because I personally just want to see Ian Terry win this thing and be the happiest Big Brother player EVER. Still, I think he will garner some respect for being so instrumental in getting out Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin and sticking it out all the way to the final three against high odds.

Ashley is questionable, but I think she’ll support newbie Ian over veteran player Dan because of his whole adorable crush on her. Britney may decide to give Dan her vote purely on game play, but if she is still secretly too bitter to do it, she may give it over to her hardcore supporter Ian. I’m hoping that would be the case. Frank is not happy with either Dan or Ian, but he may have harder feelings toward Ian for playing him and Boogie so long. I’m guessing he’ll vote against Dan no matter what.

Jenn will probably vote for Dan just because she just does not like Ian and is pissed at him for betraying his ‘team’. Shane is likely to vote against Dan because he’s mad as hell at him and Danielle will probably not convince him otherwise. As for Danielle, she’s a solid Dan voter unless she believes he screwed her in the end and totally betrayed her. If she thinks that may have happened, Dan could be toast.

Sadly, I’m still going to go with Dan probably winning if he ends up in the final 2 with Ian, but I am really, really hoping I am wrong in this Big Brother 14 prediction.

In fact, I’m hoping that something major will happen tonight and render both of these scenarios totally moot because Ian AND Danielle end up in the Big Brother 14 final 2. While that looks extremely unlikely at this point, it would be awesome and in that situation… go Ian!

WARNING: BIG BROTHER 14 SPOILERS AHEAD!

Dan Gheesling, Ian Terry and Danielle Murphree are just days away from finding out who will win Big Brother 14 and enough money to change their lives forever. (In Dan’s case, that could be for the second time.) The tension in the BB14 house is fierce. Veteran houseguests Dan continues to work his magic ‘mist’ on both Ian and Danielle, convincing each they are the one he wants to take to the final two. Both of them, however, are paranoid as hell and should be, since Dan has betrayed everyone he has been allied to in the house at one point or another.

Will Dan be able to maintain his control over both Ian and Danielle as the houseguests go into the critical first round of the HoH Comp? Can he possibly even convince one or both to throw the comp to him so he can skate through to the last round?  Or will the two of them finally get a clue and figure out the only way one of them is going to win is to get Dan out? Let’s watch and find out what happens!

CBS Big Brother 14 begins tonight with the aftermath of Dan Gheesling’s decision to evict Shane Meaney last week. Dan’s protegé, Danielle Murphree, has been stalking snuggling Shane all season and she might just be more than a little pissed at her mentor’s choice to evict her no-mance instead of hammock-swinging Ian Terry.

Dan currently has a final two deal with both Danielle and Ian, although neither of them know Dan is in cahoots with their rival. Dan’s best bet to win is probably to get Danielle to the final two. Not only is he more likely to get voted to win, but hell — he could probably argue he still deserves that original $100,000 coach’s prize too that he signed up for at the beginning.

Ian is thrilled to be in the final three and can’t believe he has made it so far on Big Brother 14 after being a fan all his life. Poor Ian seems to have absolute trust in his final two ‘renegades’ deal with Dan and doesn’t get how he is being played by Dan and Danielle.

Danielle is angry at Dan, even though from the Big Brother live feeds, viewers kind of thought she was clued in that Shane was about to get booted by Dan last week. Dan continues to ‘mist’ and coddle her, telling her he had to evict Shane because she couldn’t beat him and he is doing what he has to in order to make sure she  wins. Wins? Yes, wins. Dan has repeatedly told her (and Ian) about how no one will vote for him to win Big Brother again, right? So they really want him as their final two partner, you know? Right?

Keep misting Dan, keep misting.

To celebrate making it to the final three, the remaining houseguests are treated to a celebratory champagne brunch. Dan makes a toast to the others about how they are great people “that deserve everything they get.” Which means a whole lot more to us out here than it does to the two sitting at the table with him. Oh Dan, you are full of yourself, aren’t you?

Over brunch, the houseguests talk about the season and review some of the highlights of BB14. They discuss forming the ‘Quack Pack’ alliance, which did manage to make it to the final four, which was pretty impressive. They talk about the coaches twist and the previously eliminated coaches, Janielle Pierzina, Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin, and Britney Haynes.

We get to see some clips of Mike Boogie reading a bible, Britney beating the hell out of Frank Eudy‘s teddy bear when she was put on the eviction block, Willie Hantz going after Chef Joe Arvin, leading to his self-eviction by removal from the game. Good times, good times.

Next we have the no-mance of Shane and Danielle, which CBS really tried hard to make into a real showmance with careful editing this season. They didn’t have much else to work with besides Frank and Ashley Iocco making out once, so what do you do?

Oh, there was that one psuedo-date between Ian and Ashley that we get to remember, but that was never really going to go anywhere.

One of my favorite clips is of Frank and Ian going head to head while Frank was still wearing that ridiculous carrot suit. That was such a fun fight and I especially liked laughing at Ian flipping off Frank behind his back.

Then we have one of the most awesome moments of the season when Dan throws his ‘Big Brother funeral’ and shocks Danielle by suddenly telling her she was dead to him in the game. Ian says that only one ‘Quack Pack’ member can win it all and “may the best duck win.” He is really too cute. I just want to put him in my pocket.

At last it is time for the first round of the final Big Brother 14 Head of Household Competition. The game is called “Hook, Line and Sinker” and it is one of the nastier endurance competitions I’ve seen on the show. The houseguests are suspended on hooks and swung over a pit of water and dunked up to their necks. Then they are swung over and banged into a wall. Back and forth, forth and back. Shaking, freezing and in pain. Fun!

Of course, the endurance competition doesn’t end before the show does, so CBS Big Brother 14 fans will have to wait until the live Big Brother 14 finale on Wednesday to see the end.
