1. Blend your Google ads. Adsense color and font size is important.

a) It's tested and it works. Use the same colour of your webpage background, for the border and the background of the ads.
b) Use the same colors used in your webpage, for the Adsense ads title, text and url link.
c) If possible use the same font in your page, as the Google Adsense ads. Since the ads have variable text size and font, according to dimension and type of ads, you can never do this 100% right. But every little bit helps you.
d) Try to not separate the ads from the website's content (like trashing the ads in some remote corner of your website). Integrate it within the content (in, within, next to, above, below etc).

2. Placing ads high on a page is good.

Position the ads with the highest CTR, as high as possible in the webpage, in the source's order. The first ads that appear in the webpages (in the source's order) get the most income per click.

3. Use images. Images and Adsense work very good together.

Use images left or right of the ads. It makes them seen as part of the pages content, and your CTR increases. It does't matter what images you use. Use any plain generic images. If you can, try to corelate those with the niche/domain of your website/blog. Be carefull not to write text, point arrows or similar on the images, as that might be seen as click incentives.

4. Earnings are variable, based on CTR.

With the Smart pricing ideea, your income varies a lot, according to each of your channel's CTR rate.
Now this is very important: It's account-wide, not channel-wide. So if you have a very good CTR (5%-50%) for one website, and you include it in the same account with a 0.04% CTR website, you will loose money.

Remove all the websites (from your account) that don't have at least a 5% CTR (or depeding on your overall CTR, remove the ones that are really lower than your average), or you'll affect the income of all the other good converting websites.

Bux.to is fraud!

The service in question is called Bux.to. They pay users $0.01 to watch an advertisement for thirty seconds. They also pay $0.01 for every advertisement viewed by anyone that has signed up using your referral code. Sounds great, but there’s one problem - users are complaining that they aren’t getting paid, or are getting paid weeks and weeks after they should have been.
The reason? Bux.to is undoubtedly finding itself in cash flow trouble. Advertisers, I’m sure, are not jumping at the chance to get to users who value their time at $1.20/hour and are only looking at ads because they’re paid to.
AGLOCO, another version of the scheme, went belly up last year. AGLOCO was created by the same team that founded AllAdvantage (also DeadPool) back in the late nineties. Basically, the model doesn’t work, no matter how people try to spin it.
Pirillo is particularly embarrassed about Bux.to, which he pushed hard to users in January. They aren’t paying him, and they won’t contact him.
It’s not often in a post that I get to explain a situation by saying both Caveat Emptor and Occam’s razor. If something looks like it’s a scam, it’s probably a scam.

Placing Adsense on your blog is easy. A simple copy and paste action and you’ve setup your website to make money. However, you need to know when to place Adsense ads and where to place them and how to place them. This is what divides the successful Adsense website builders from the not-so-successful Adsense website builders. You need to use Adsense cleverly on your website.

Here are my findings you can use which has worked well for me to increase your Adsense income.

There has been a lot of discussion of people throwing-up when they see Adsense on a blog. They see the blog as a vehicle to earn income from Adsense and the blog itself has no value. After seeing some awful blogs.

What you need to do is place Adsense on your blog which blends with your website. Take away those borders and change the colors. Make it look as though it is part of your website. This will lessen the preconceived notion others have with Adsense blogs

Next, you need to post regularly to your blog. I have to admit that regularly means daily. I have tests that show missing a day or two with blogging, generally affects the traffic to your blog. So get some postings ready for times when you are busy.

With good daily updated content on your blog, people will not mind that your blog has Adsense on them. You have to understand that people are looking for information. If you give them what they want, they will return and click on some Adsense ads which are of interest to them in time.
Daily blogging with good content will make people forget your blog is built for Adsense income. They will appreciate that you are making money since you are spending so much time offering them content.

I find that using horizontal Adsense ads are very effective. These are called leaderboards which span across the website. I normally place these at the top of the website so that my regular readers will see them first thing when they visit.

I also find that ad links are very effective. These are Adsense ads that only show the category of ads and have no description. They look like menu bars. People need to click on the ad link, see a list of related Adsense and click on them again before you are paid.

Though it requires 2 clicks to generate Adsense income for you, I find that this sort of ad is very effective. The good thing is Google does not count ad links towards the number of Adsense ads you can have on your website (which is 3 by the way).

Next, if you’re writing a post on your blog, make sure that you place Adsense right after you mention an interesting point. It could be the revealing of a finding or some breaking news with your niche.
