A very lucky stan caught the happy couple at Jay-Z’s Atlantic City 40/40 Club last night! Looks like they are enjoying the Manny Pacquiao / Joshua Clottey fight with plenty of friends and a few drinks.

Late last week we we’re the first to post photos of Beyonce at the New Jersey Nets Barclays Center Groundbreaking in Brooklyn, New York. We’re now back with 30+ new High Quality photos from the event which featured her husband giving the opening speech before the groundbreaking.

You’ve seen the video for Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” featuring Beyonce; now check out how it all came together!

“The concept of the video is actually a follow-up to ‘Paparazzi,’” says director Jonas Åkerlund.

And it’s pretty obvious in the clip above that both Jonas and Beyonce enjoyed making it, too.

“I had so much fun and this video is going to be epic,” says Beyonce. “I’m very honored to be a part of it.”

Now if we could only get Gaga’s take on it. Oh wait, we have it here!

Speaking exclusively to E! News, Gaga says, “There’s certainly always a hidden message in my music videos. But I would say most predominately, I’m always trying to convolute everyone’s idea of what a pop music video should be.”

When we think pop music videos, choreographed dances, costume changes and crazy editing are pretty standard, so what makes her video so different?

“There was this really amazing quality in ‘Paparazzi,’ where it kind of had this pure pop music quality but at the same time it was a commentary on fame culture. In its own way, even at certain points working with Jonas [Åkerlund, the director of both videos] really achieved this high art quality in the way that it was shot. I wanted to do the same thing with this video—take a decidedly pop song, which on the surface has a quite shallow meaning, and turn it into something deeper.”

She also had the support of Inglourious Basterds writer/director Quentin Tarantino, which can’t be underestimated.

“There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video,” she says. “I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new. His direct involvement in the video came from him lending me the Pussy Wagon. We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video and he loved it so much he said, ‘You gotta use the Pussy Wagon.’”

Ultimately, Gaga says her intent was to take “the idea that America is full of young people that are inundated with information and technology and turn it into something that was more of a commentary on the kind of country that we are.”

At first glance, the country she portrays is all about dancing, mass murder, sexy lady jail and Polaroid. But we must be missing something…Is it about the high recidivism rates among felons exiting American prisons? Unsanitary kitchen conditions? Strong lady friendships kill men? Beyoncé’s dangerous levels of fierceness? Or is this just another one of Gaga’s masterful manipulations?

Yesterday, Universal Music held a listening session in Toronto for Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later. Ace Burpee was in attendance and shared his experience.

1) There’s a song on the disc called “Fireworks” that has the greatest beat ever. Drake has this sidekick producer called 40, and he’s talented. I met him as well this afternoon and he’s also a good kid. He’s about to be very, very busy. “Fireworks” has a hook on it courtesy of Kings of Leon. It’s catchy.

2) There is a Kanye West–produced track on the album that comes with a story. The track was made by Kanye for Beyonce, but Drake really wanted it so he wrote her a handwritten letter asking if he could use it. She read it and thought it was sweet and e–mailed him to give her permission. It’s a great track.

3) There’s a Jay–Z/Drake track that he played for us – minus Jay’s verse. Jay–Z doesn’t let anyone hear his stuff before it comes out. Drake claims it is the greatest verse Jay’s ever done.

4) I think the final track on the album is called “Thank Me Now” or something. He played us a recorded verse then did another one live and it was one of the best. Really cool.

5) He sings on a bunch of tracks on the album.

6) This Saturday Drake will be in L.A. doing a track with Dr. Dre and Eminem.

7) Yes, there is a Timbaland beat on the album.

It is highly possible that the biggest album of 2010 will be from a Canadian, and his name will be Drake.

We just posted video of Jay-Z’s speech during the press conference at the Barclays Center Groundbreaking and now we have pics of Beyonce in the crowd at the event. See Beyonce with Rev. Al Sharpton and more photos after the jump.

This afternoon, a press conference was held for groundbreaking of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn Yards. Set to open in 2012, the 18,000 seat arena will mark the new home of the Brooklyn Nets. In attendance were Mayor Michael Bloomgberg, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Governor David Paterson. Before Nets co-owner Jay-Z, gave a brief speech, Marty Markowitz introduced him and talked up his lovely wife Beyonce and her  Brooklyn based Cosmetology Center.
