New changes in BeRuby!
The new style is designed to help you personalize your home page, and use it for all of your internet needs.

One of the first changes is the handy search engine feature at the top of the page. You can use this to conduct all of the searches you would normally do at google, yahoo or msn. Your search results will appear in a new tab in your browser so you won’t lose your BeRuby home page.

Additionally, you can now use the tab “Home” to return back to your BeRuby home page. This is the page that has the different category boxes, i.e. shopping, communities, etc. Remember that the links in these boxes and (anywhere on BeRuby) that are marked with a ruby pay commissions. What does this mean? The advertiser, ex. 1-800-flowers, pays you a commission when you purchase from their website using the link found on BeRuby.

To change the links that you see in the category boxes, it’s really quite simple. First, select the box you would like to change. The icons you see in the red circle are as follows:
Plus sign: used to change the links seen in the box
Triangle: Minimizes the box
X: erases the box, so that you can add another category box. You can always re-add it.
Since we are talking about personalizing the links, you would click on the Plus Sign. By doing this, you will be taken to a list of advertisers in the selected category. See image below.

The Arrow icon will take you the advertiser.
The Home icon will add this advertiser/link to your home page, making it easy to access when you log in.
The Star icon will add the advertiser to your favorites page. More about the favorites page below.
When you click the green Home button, you can then choose how you want the link to appear in the box. When prompted, simply drag the advertiser’s logo the part of the box you would like it be in. It should appear on your home page immediately.
In terms of your Favorites Page, just click on the orange Star icon, and that advertiser will be added to a list of your favorite links. You can find this link by clicking on the sub tab that reads “My Favorites”.

BeRuby is a home page that you can personalise according to your preferences and that shares its revenues with the users.

Having commercial agreements with hundreds of advertisers in the US, Europe and South America BeRuby pays you for your visits, registrations or purchases. In other words, you get paid for your usual activities in Internet.

The advertisers that BeRuby has agreements with are signaled with 1, 2 or 3 rubies, depending on the amount of the commissions they offer (1 ruby for the ones that pay less, 2, y 3 rubies for the ones that pay more). As a user, BeRuby shares with you 33.3% of the inflows that it gets from the advertisers through your activities in their sites.

BeRuby also pays you for the activities generated by your own network; you can enjoy one sixth of the comissions generated by the people you have invited to form part of BeRuby.

In total, BeRuby shares 66.6% of the proceeds gained from the advertisers with its users! It is amazing, isn’t it?

After the huge success of Beruby Spain with more than 200.000 users they are now working in Beruby Uk , Beruby USA and Beruby France.

What do I need to do to be part of BeRuby and earn money?

To register with BeRuby you just need to provide your email address and a password.
Your account is immediately activated and you can set BeRuby as your homepage to search the web, check your email or do your shopping. All the logos of the companies that you see in BeRuby take you directly to their Internet sites. Remember to use BeRuby as your starting point for every search, purchase, etc., so that you can earn money!
Only sites with a Ruby symbol next to them generate cash back.

How do I earn money using BeRuby?

It's easy! Beruby shows you all the companies that pay some kind of a commission when you use their services, or buy from their site. What do I need to do to include other sites on my homepage?

All the boxes on BeRuby have a "+" symbol at the bottom right of each module that will take you to a page where you choose the four logos to display on your homepage for that module. BeRuby is all about user choice: you will be able to personalize the page with whatever site you wish!
You can personalize the "weather" module with your local weather forecast. Just enter your zip code on your Full Profile page, and the weather for your city will be displayed.

On my Account Page, what is the difference between "pending amount," "confirmed amount," and "total amount"?

Pending Amount: When you complete an online activity through Beruby (such as buying online, registering on a site or visiting a site), the company will first need to tell BeRuby that this activity actually took place. When this happens, your pending amount is calculated and added to other pending amounts.
Confirmed Amount: When a company with which you have transacted pays BeRuby, the amount is "confirmed" by the outside source, and your confirmed amount goes up. At the same time, your pending amount will decrease by the same amount.
Total Amount: This is the total amount of money (Pending plus Confirmed) that you can expect from BeRuby.

When and how do I get paid?

You can ask for the confirmed amount to be paid to you at any given time. The method for payments will be via Paypal account. Paypal is an online e-commerce business that allows payments to be made through the Internet. Find out more how Paypal works here.

How much money can I earn?

The amount of money that you make will be determined y your activity on the net. If you frequently register on community, shop or visit some sites you will earn more revenues than a less active person

You can make referrals to earn even more money. Up to 2 levels. Your network will also play a key role in determining how much revenues you earn. A network of 10 people inviting another 10 people will enable you to earn part of the commissions generated by 100 people. A network of 20 people inviting another 20 people will enable you to earn part of the commissions generated by 400 people!

How do I invite friends to my network?

Just visit the "invite" section and write the email that you will like your friends to see; put in their email address and you are all set.
You can also copy your personalized link that you see in the "invite section" and send that link over to your friends.
Finally, you can ask them to register and tell them to include your email address in their sign-in process.

BeRuby has advertising agreements with all the sites that display the Ruby symbol. Unlike other portals, BeRuby shares the revenue generated through these agreements. Specifically, BeRuby gives you, the user, one-third of the advertising revenue that you generate by visiting, shopping or registering in these sites. The amount of the commission that users can earn will vary by site and will often depend on how much is purchased from the merchant.
