So according to Yahoo, they are predicting and basically calling Obama the winner already. That’s funny, I don’t remember voting. I can’t believe November got here and no one told me. Obviously our work to rid the country of this inept president is cut out for us. I knew the media was in the tank for Obama, but this is going beyond ridiculous.

After reading the comments to their story, I was pleased to see that the majority of the people agreed that here we go again with the media and they were determined to vote him out. Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), otherwise known as H.R. 3261 is piracy itself. It aims to pirate our rights as free citizens of the United States and needs to be stopped. In the constant guise of fighting terrorism, it seems that Americans are the ones who are constantly having our rights and liberties taken away from us. We are not the terrorists! Our government has overstepped its bounds time and time again claiming terrorists are out to get us and this is what we must do to combat them. We are the ones suffering indignities at the airport. And now we are the ones who will have our rights to freely use the internet taken from us without so much as a how do you do.

It amazes me that people still don’t see the Patriot Act as being unconstitutional. And still further that American citizens were killed by our president without so much as a trial because they were deemed to be terrorists. Is this what you want? Suppose the government deems you a terrorist because you disagree with them. At the very least under SOPA you will have your website removed, at the very worst you could be killed. Americans need to stop being so frightened of terrorists and stop laying down their rights for the government to take. They are using your fears against you. They have you saying well whatever to keep us safe is okay. It is not okay. Read more »

It has come to light that Obama wants to address a joint session of Congress on jobs and “coincidentally” it has been scheduled for the same night as a Republican debate, September 7, 2011. Given that this debate has been scheduled for quite some time and the Obama address has only recently been scheduled, one can deduce that this certainly is no coincidence.

For three years now, Obama has pretty much completely ignored the jobs situation. All of his economic policies have failed and the economy is just as bad, if not worse than when he started. Given that his advisers are the same dunderheads who have advised him so far, I fail to see what he could possibly come up with that will work to elevate the economy. Read more »
