Physicians Formula Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blush Natural retails for $11.95.

I had to run into CVS this weekend for some sunscreen and while I was in there I noticed that the PF products were on sale spend $10.00 get $7.00 back in ecbs (or something like that) so I picked up this blush.

I mean just look how cute it is!

So cute and on top of the adorable packaging it’s supposed to make you more sexy.

Did you just laugh and say that’s crazy?

Yeah, so did I.

But according to Physicians Formula this blush will give your cheeks a “Not So Innocent” glow that will drive men crazy!

The Sexy Boosting Formula is infused with the scent of warm vanilla, “afterglow” illumination and pheromone-mimicking ingredients including clinically tested androstadienone, cocoa extract (aka “the Love Chemical”) and ancient aphrodisiac horny goatweed to enhance your sexy side.

Hmmmm….

So did it make men flock to me?

Did I feel sexier?

Did I love it?

Here are my pros & cons….

Pros:

The best smelling blush ever hands down (smells like vanilla)
Leaves a light beautiful glow to cheeks
Adorable packaging

Cons:

The price
Not highly pigmented
Didn’t feel sexier
Won’t make young Adam Levine/Ryan Gosling/David Beckham look alikes fall in love with you (I’m very happily married, but just a heads up for my single ladies out there hahaha.)

I like it, but I don’t love it.

It’s a gorgeous shade, but I think it’s probably too light to be used as a blush on most skin tones.

It does however make a gorgeous highlighter just be sure not to overdo it or you could look like a disco ball.

I say wait for a sale and then buy it, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it full price.

What’s In My Bag

I’ve always loved these What’s In My Bag type posts so today I thought I’d show you what’s in mine.

I’m not someone who can carry a tiny bag (as I’m sure you can probably tell), because I like to carry everything I own around with me haha.

And sadly my bag is usually way more jam packed than this, but today this is what’s in my bag.

1. My Marc Jacobs clutch that I use as a makeup bag for the time being.

2. Skull Candy Headphones. I’m obsessed with music and audio books so I have these on me at all times.

3. My ipad which goes everywhere I go pretty much.

4. A notepad and hello kitty pen for writing down post ideas, etc.

5. The current Vanity Fair magazine which I picked up because of my love of Audrey Hepburn.

6. I always have a book in my bag and right now I’m reading The Orphan Train.

7. My iphone

8. Sunglasses

9. And loads of makeup/beauty products. Some of the products are….

Wellness Wednesday: Fitness Haul

I’ve been wanting to order some Tracy Anderson workout videos for awhile now, but it wasn’t until a lovely friend of mine recommended them over the weekend that I knew I had to pick them up.

After hearing her praise the products I ran over to Amazon and ordered them right then and there.

So here’s what I bought:

1. Tracy Anderson’s 30 Day Method Book/DVD

Based on 10 years of scientific research and experience this program is said to defy genetics to tone, trim and reshape your body.

The program includes:

• Three proven 10 day muscle work sequences
• A Dance cardio routine on the included DVD
• Tracy’s 30 day kick start meal plan and detox
• Dozens of delicious recipes

2. The Tracy Anderson Method Presents Post Pregnancy Workout DVD

This DVD is for new moms, older clients, people with injuries or anyone wanting to regain abdominal strength.

I’m not pregnant nor do I have children, but my friend told me this workout was amazing and that everyone could benefit from it so I picked it up.

3. The Beauty Detox Foods Book

I’m a huge fan of Celebrity Nutritionist, Kimberly Snyder, so when I heard she had a new book out I knew I had to pick it up.

The book includes over 85 recipes that are supposed to taste as good as they make you look so we’ll see if that’s true or not!

e.l.f baked shadows retail for $3.00 a piece and are available at Target.

Who says expensive is better?

Not I!

These e.l.f. baked shadows I picked up at Target recently are only $3.00 a piece and amazing!

I actually like them much better than the MAC baked shadows I own.

I mean just look at this pigmentation!

I seriously can’t believe these shadows are only $3.00 a piece!

One month (like last month) you’re so good and the next I question what you were thinking.

As the Backstreet Boys so poetically put it….

Seriously, I feel like I’m in a bad relationship here!

One minute things are great and the next minute I’m telling myself it’s over.

Oh and really a pilot pen in a birchbox?

I mean I love pens, but couldn’t it at least be cute?

Beauty Products I’m Currently Loving

One question I’m often asked is this….

With so many beauty products do you actually use them all or do you have favorites?

To which I usually reply….

I use & love all my products, but I also have several tried and true products that I use and repurchase more often than others.

They’re my no fail products if you will.

The products are….

1. Bare Minerals Faux Tan $19.00.

I’ve been using this product forever and I’ve repurchased it numerous times which is rare for me since I like to mix it up. I use this to contour and to add a bit of a faux tan. It’s the perfect bronzer for summer!

2. Bare Minerals Original Foundation $27.00.

I’ve been using this for about 7 years now and it’s my most repurchased foundation. It’s the perfect everyday foundation in my opinion. It gives your skin a nice natural healthy finish and can be pretty full coverage when applied with the right brush. I also learned that celebrity MUA Kandee Johnson uses it as a finishing power on top of her regular foundation and I do that as well. It’s a great multitasking product.

3. Nars Orgasm Blush $29.00.

I hardly ever repurchase a blush, because lets face it there are so many gorgeous ones out there. Orgasm is one of the few that I have repurchased. It’s a great everyday blush and one that looks great on most skin types.

4. Urban Decay Naked Basics $27.00.

If I was held hostage and made to chose only one eyeshadow palette to use for the rest of my life the naked basics would be it. It may appear to be extremely boring at first glance, but it’s actually pretty versatile.

5. Kari Gran Lip Whip $15.00.

This lip whip is super moisturizing and I have to use it every morning before applying my lipstick or my lips feel dry and unhappy. Kari Gran products are made using only the finest natural, organic, wildharvested and non-GMO ingredients and are free of parabens and toxins. Love it!

6. Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in 14 $4.64.

I just reviewed this lipstick so there’s not much to say about it other than the fact that I love it and wear it on my smokey/strong eye makeup days.

7. OCC Lip Tar in Yaoi $18.00.

This is another product I’ve reviewed recently. I usually wear this one on my more neutral eye look days.

8. Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in Black $19.00.

This is a great waterproof liner and one I repurchase often.

9. Urban Decay Primer Potion $20.00.

This stuff is da bomb diggity. I never go a day without this product it’s that amazing. My eye make up stays all day with this stuff and I have oily lids!! If you’ve never tried it be sure to pick it up next time you’re at Sephora. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.

10. Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara $9.95.

If you want voluminous lashes give this mascara a try. I’m on my third tube which says a lot considering I have over 20 mascaras at the moment.

11. The Balm Mary Lou Manizer $24.00.

This is an amazing highlighter for your cheeks, cupids bow, etc. I love it and when I run out of this sample size I’ll totally be repurchasing it.

Wellness Wednesday: Celebrity Fitspiration Gwyneth Paltrow

Today’s Wellness Wednesday Celebrity Fitspiration is none other than People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Women this year, Gwyneth Paltrow.

I know some people love to hate her, but I personally like her.

Some things we can learn from Gwyneth are:

1. Always make time to exercise. Gwyneth has said that she works out an hour and a half 5 days a week no matter what.

2. Find something you enjoy and stick with it. Gwyneth is a fan of the Tracy Anderson Method and works out with her often.

3. But don’t be afraid to mix it up. Gwyneth Paltrow also runs and does yoga so don’t get stuck doing the same old thing day in and day out.

4. Eat well and try to avoid overly processed foods. Gwyneth like most women (including myself) seems to have tried every diet on the planet, but we all know that the key to weight loss isn’t a diet at all! Eating well is the best way to lose weight and keep it off long term.

Gwyneth recently posted this 15 minute workout video by her trainer, Tracy Anderson, on pinterest and boy does it work!

It may look like a quick and easy workout, but let me assure you it’s not.

You’ll definitely feel it the next day.

After doing this workout I really want to pick up some of Tracy’s DVDs.

Ahhhh nude lips.

What girl doesn’t love a good nude lip?

I myself own way more nude lipsticks than any girl should ever own, yet there are very few that I actually love.

That’s why I wanted to tell you about my fave new nude lipstick at the moment the Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in 14.

It’s a true nude shade and one that looks great on lots of different skin tones.

Perfect to pair with a dramatic smokey eye look or just for everyday wear.

I actually just picked up a backup of it, because I wanted to be sure I always had one on me.

It’s that good.

Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation Review

Cover Girl Outlast Foundation retails for $8.54 at Target.

CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation

I picked up this foundation a month or so ago and feel like I’m finally ready to give you a review on it.

So here goes….

What they say:

The Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 foundation keeps you all day flawless.

Longwear is designed to stay fabulous all day because it has concealer and primer built in.

Smooth, even coverage. SPF 20.

My thoughts:

I know a lot of people swear by this foundation, but I myself am not a fan and I won’t be repurchasing it.

Here’s why..

The good:

It comes with a pump
Full coverage
Long lasting

The bad:

Dries very quickly
Broke me out BAD! Huge mosquito bite type breakouts.
Dried out my oily/combination skin
Oxidized on me

I have never broken out so bad from a foundation in my life! It was terrible!

I do remember breaking out from other Cover Girl foundations in the past though so maybe it’s something in their products?

I’m not sure, but thankfully once I stopped using it and went back to mineral foundation my skin cleared right up.

L’oreal Legally Regal Colour Riche Balm Review, Swatches & Photos

L’oreal Legally Regal Retails for $7.99 at Target.

I don’t know about you, but this Spring I’m all about pastels so when I saw this lip balm at Target a couple of weeks ago I grabbed it up quickly.

Legally Regal is a cool lilac shade and I love it.

It’s a balm so with one swipe it can look very sheer, but add two or three coats and you get a more pigmented pinky/lilac shade.

It’s a very wearable color and one that I think would great on almost every skin tone.

If you love it as much as I do stop what you’re doing right now and run to your local Target to grab one as they are limited edition.
