New Liese Bubble Hair Color

I'm having fun using the new Liese Bubble Hair Colour to colour my hair on my own. It is so fun and easy to do it. I love the bubbles!!!

What surprised me was that the liquid became foam when it was dispensed from the bottle! You just have to apply foam on hair and massage. It felt like shampooing and it was easy to reach the difficult areas. Furthermore, the end result was great.

They have 10 different colours for you to choose. From the pink series to the ash series, you can Whether you desire a bright and vibrant color or a more subtle dark tone, they have it all.

I chosen the "Dark Chocolate" colour which is the brown series to cover up my old blonde colour. The colour gives me a subdued finish with a more elegant look.

I did a princess lash extension @ Carragheen Skincare Boutique. Cost me S$75 bucks...

To be very honest, their skills super sucks. Somemore, a china lady did the eyelash extension for me. It is NOT to my expectations.

Final Verdict : Lousy skills...I rather have my eyelash extension to be done at Browhaus.. Regretted it...

I am so excited to see a small parcel on my table when I got home today.... Immediately, I opened up the parcel and I received 6 packs of Revlon Runway Collection with beautiful and stylish fake nails with ornate tips and natural nail bed resins.

- Butterhead Lettuces

For salad dressing
- Salad cream (You get it in a bottle anywhere in NTUC or food departmental store)

Have you had times when you do one’s utmost to slim down with the interest of fitting into your prom night gown? Undertake meticulous slimming plan so that you would look fabulous on your wedding day?

Yes! Every ladies would do their best to slim down in hope that they can wear their favourite dress for special occasions. Certainly we will undergo strict diet or attempt slimming plans to achieve the desire body figure to look fabulous on the special day.

I attempted alot of slimming plans for many years but I still cannot achieve the desired weight and body figure I always wanted.

I tried different types of slimming drugs prescribed by doctor. Such as Duromine, Reductile, Panasy..You named it...I tried them ALL...Yes, The slimming results was super fast and you can achieve weight loss within a month because it helps to curb your appetite. However, once you stop eating it, you gained weight in double!!! Eventually, this has become a "Yo-Yo dieting" Initially you will lose weight fast but unsuccessful in maintaining the loss long-term and begins to gain the weight back. Then you have to seek ways to lose the regained weight, and this cycle begins again.

Not to mention the side effects of the drug. Example, sudden or rapid weight loss, difficulty in breathing, fainting, restless, trouble in sleeping, dry-mouth, depression, heart beats become faster and irregular and of course...Extreme mood swing!

Well, I did experienced them all. BUT I lost my weight in a few months. I weighed 50kg then. Unfortunately, this weight didn’t stay with me for long. I had stopped the prescription drug because the doctor advised not to consume such drugs for more than 3 months. It may damage your liver if you consume on long term basis.

My appetite went back to normal and I ballooned to my size by double. Until my weight now is 57kg. My fat mass has gone up and my muscle mass dropped..

I even signed up the fitness membership at Planet Fitness Club. Initially, I have the motivation to visit the gym at least 2-3 times a week. As time goes by....I have lost the motivation to go gym. Of course, I would create excuses like - no time to go gym....or too busy at work...or no motivation to go gym because you go alone ..blah..blah... End up I spent S$3000 plus for 24 months membership and now I hardly visit the fitness club. What a waste of money!!!

Now my latest slimming plan is to go on weight management programme because I saw my colleague has lost 7 to 10 kg within 3 months after went through the weight management programme. Of course, I have to spend at least S$2k to start with this weight management programme through a MLM company called Herbal Life

The weight loss programme consist of drinking two shakes daily as a meal replacement and one colourful meal. I have tried it for almost two months. Even after my shakes, I still feel hungry. End up I still snack after my shakes. As a result, I did not lose any weight. It was very frustrating for me!! Perhaps, I wasn't consistent enough too. To undergo such programme, you required alot of persistent and perseverance to resist the temptation of eating food. Also, I do not have a personal wellness coach to motivate me or guide me through this weight management programme.

Every slimming attempts that I have done before was all on D.I.Y.... Can you imagine I have spent so much money and effort in trying to lose weight. And yet I cannot achieve my slimming results!!!! Sob Sob.. :(

I want to weigh back at 50kg again!!!!!

I want to shed off the unwanted fats from my arms, body waist and thighs!!!!!

My Cosmetic Buys at Etude House ...

Etude House is a korean brand and they are launched in Singapore at Plaza Singapura recently

In fact, I was shopping at PS after my appointment with my client and I was drawn to this girly cosmetic shop in sweet pink colour!!

After that, I went to check their Etude Website and find out that Etude is known as their sweet brand. Thats explain the retail shop is in sweet pink concept..including their make up concept is more of beauty and youth described in a romantic fairy tale...

But I must say the pricing of their products are quite expensive and my total damages are S$51 bucks...All of their staff are from Korea as I overheard the SA attending to me speaking korean to the cashier girl! Of course, I sure gossip abit with them and found out that they came from korea and stay in Spore to work...

Carl is a grumpy old man and I'm impressed with his amazing plan by having thousand of colourful balloons tied to his roof and to lift up his house in air....quite an adventure for him to experience as a old man...Hmmm....

Russell is a overly chubby fat little kid. I like the movie trailer part where he got stuck flat onto the glass while holding on the balloons in the air for his own life and making the "screeching" sound while he was dragged by the balloons. That was totally hilarious!

My Indulgences on Acrylic Nails.....

My indulgence on acrylic nails was influenced by my colleague, Sunnie. She did her nails so nicely that made me so tempted to do arcylic nails too. She is such a bad influence....Wahahaha.

I did my first acrylic nails at my favourite Nail Xpert Salon @ Purvis street . I must say they really did a good job in painting nails and they have wide selection of nail arts for you to choose from. If you really want to consider doing acrylic nails for your wedding occasions. They have quite a bridal nail packages for you to choose..

I was totally in love with it despite of the expensive cost involved (usually cost S$100 bucks over depending on the nail designs and colour) and time taken in doing the fake nails. The whole process took me 6 hours to finish doing the acrylic nails. Phew...you must have the patience to do it.

There is two types of Acrylic Nails:-

1) Normal Acrylic Nails using Acrylic White Powder to mix with chemical to form a white paste. That what we usually do for those 3D nail art.

2) Acrylic Gel Nails using the liquid gel to apply on the fake nails and the drying process can take quite long as compared using the acrylic powder.

Of course, Acrylic Gel Nails would be more popular by ladies coz it looks more natural

The process of doing the acrylic nails would require the buffering on the surface of your natural nails and trimming your natural nails short before they can glue the fake nails onto your natural nails. And then mixing the acrylic powder with small portion of liquid chemical to form a white paste...They will use the airbrush and start coating the acrylic paste over the fake nails layer by layer...

This is the first acrylic nails with my normal nail arts that I have done...

The second one is the acrylic gel nails with 3D nail arts...And this is one of my fav acrylic nail design... I totally fall in love with it...

Heavy rain in the morning made me dun feel like going to work today. This gloomy weather made my mood so lousy. In fact, my mood has been very bad for this week. As I have been under alot of pressure & stress over my work. Today is even worst!

We had our dept meeting this morning and we all kenna a big scolding from our manager. Everybody in the meeting room are so demoralized and affected. Until some of us had no appetite to eat their lunch.

But now my mood is getting better ;) because my dearest colleague, Irene Goh bought me a nice pink flower to cheer me up.. because she knows my mood is super lousy today.

That is so sweet of her! ...Furthermore, she is not feeling well today and went to see doctor during lunch time. Yet, she still buys these small little stuff to make me happier. Though it is small gift and doesen't cost alot, but I feel so happy and overjoyed by her kind gesture!

And she even bought me two donnuts from Donut Empire...

I'm very fortunate to have nice colleagues in my life. So far, most people that I have encountered during my walks of life are kind, considerate and caring. I also believe if I being kind and considerate to others is also a way of self cultivation and you will be treated nicely by others as well.. Don't you think so?

This is one of the most exclusive event I have attended so far. The venue was held at the Ngee An City Tower B, #05-25B

They only invited about 10 bloggers. Quite an informative sharing session. Personally, I enjoyed the session because we learned about how to maxmize our skin apart from our usual skincare routines. Well, it is like any other beauty & wellness training held by skincare companies, where we get to use the products and learn more about it.

They have this online lifestyle skin assessment to provide with an overview results of my current skin condition and they also use the DermaScan...which is like an ultrascan machine to measure the condition of my skin in the deeper layers. During the event, we were treated as VIPs. The staff are very friendly and professional. They also served very good refreshments. Best of all, the goodies bag we received.. absoutely fabulous....

I attended Anna Sui's tea party on their new launch of Super Black Mascaras on 18 April 2009 at BHG Bugis Anna Sui Counter.

I tell you..when I reached at the Anna Sui Cosmetic Counter...I get a horror shock of my life. I never see so many ladies swarming around at the pathetic small counter... No, I should say swarming around at the "2 pathetic small comestic booths" As though, there is some " BIG SALE" going on over there.... The cosmetic counter is soooo packed with ladies and you can't move around freely at the cosmetic booth to test their new mascaras / other cosmetic products.

There are only 3 or 4 Sale Assistants on that day. And these poor sale ladies are really shorthanded to handle such big crowd. And you can never get the kind of quality service attention from the sale girls. When I approach one of their sale girl to enquire more about the new mascara products.. she replied to me in a very rude manner. As if I have pissed her off or she doesn't want to entertain me.

But of course, I can understand their frustration Coz they are trying to juggle with the other ladies enquiring as well.

Anyway...my reviews on this Anna Sui tea party event...DISAPPOINTED.

Firstly, this event is NOT exclusive to cozycot members that signed up. That means any ladies who drop by during that day..they can approach the counter and juz join in. They should have thought of conducting a private sale event.

Basically Anna Sui is only interested to achieve their sale targets by attracting more consumers to buy their products.

I don't get the service attention from the sale assistant. I never used Anna Sui products before, so I need some beauty advice from the sale assistant to recommend me their cosmetic products. Unforunately, they are too busy to entertain me.

I tested their new super black mascaras range. Sad to say...it is not that fantastic as they claimed to be... Nothing special to me. In fact, the coating is abit too liquidifed and not thick enough. After I apply the mascara onto my lashes and leave it dry....when I battered my eye lashed, it smudged onto my lower eyelid. Well...I dun think the mascara has the "quick-dry formula" that allow it to dry faster so that you can apply several coats to give lash definition.

About their product design, the mascacra coating smudged on my hands after I capped up the masacra application. And it just get too messy.... I dun like it at all!

They have 3 type of mascaras- Full, Long & Volume.

1) Full Mascacra - It is just ordinary. The masacra coating is really black. But it does not give curl or lengthen effect. Rather more on volumized and helps to separate the lashes to give a result of "spreading out like fan" effect.

2) Long Mascara - The mascara coating consist of the fibres, so that it helps to add length to lashes. But no matter how i apply several coats to my lashes...I can't get the lengthening effect!

3) Volume - It does give volumizing effect maybe because of its coating is super black in colour. But when you apply too much coating onto your lashes. It becomes too heavy and lumping. And it starts to smudge to your lower eyelids.

My Final verdict on the Mascaras...

If you want to achieve a long & volumized lashes. You need to apply two different kind of mascara to achieve that kind of effect you want. Which I think is too much a hassle for me. Before you can achieve the result you want, your lashes may become too heavy or too lumping because you apply too much mascaras.
And the price of Anna Sui mascara is not cheap. It costs about S$41.00 bucks. I would rather you buy cheaper brand like Maybelline or Loreal which cost less than S$20 bucks. And you still can get the same kind of effect you want with just one application of the same mascara.

Although, my reviews about them is quite bad, the only consolation they can get from me..is the goody bag.

Hi folks, Oh My Gosh...I must confess that it's been long time I have not updating my blog... I am extremely busy busy these few months... (*feeling guilt-stricken while I'm typing away my keyboad..*)

What a Saturday!!....you cannot believe what I did yesterday. I'm pratically running around like a mad woman.. And I was totally knocked out in bed when I'm back home....I slept till Sunday 3pm plus and then I missed my Tamarind spa appointment @ 2pm!

A brief itinerary on what I did yesterday...

1. Cozycot Event - Anna Sui Tea Party on their New Launch Beach Collection Super Black Mascaras from 3pm to 4pm at BHG Bugis

2. Imedeen Workshop from 5pm to 8pm at Takashimaya

3. Girl's Chill out Time (with Claudia, Laura & Joey) at Clarke Quay, China One Pub from 9pm to 5am in the morning!!

But I'm quite happy with my Saturday outing..especially I get to catch up with my long lost girlfriends....we had wild funs...drinking....partying all night long. That was really an enjoyable night! It has been long time I have enjoyed myself with my girlfriends...I really misses "those days" with them...

Anyways, there will be another chill out session on 04 May.. after Joey has finished her exam period...And then, we shall have more funs and drinking again. kekekeke

Anyway, today I went to Nail Xpert Salon @ Purvis street for my pedicure session.

It is a instant love @ first sight when I first step in to their nail salon. They occupy two storeys. The plush and cosy interior is so amazing! They have a big plasma TV with big comfy sofa couch. Very ideal for your bf who accompany you for your manicure session...He can sink himself on the sofa with soft cushions to relax & pre-occupy with the DVD movies while you'r enjoying your pampering treat.

Moreover, their friendly staffs don't ever try too hard to upsell their packages to you.

One thing I like about them is that all their tools are INDIVIDUALLY sanitized and sealed in sanitized packs. which means the tools landing on your precious toes are totally germs free and santitized. :)

Their wide selection of nail arts for you to choose from are so beautifully and creatively designed. The designs are definitely comparable to those Japanese "Kawaii" nail arts which can be found in those Japanese beauty nail magazines. I must say the hand painted nails by their staff are super duper skillful.
Best of the best....they have few selections of designed bridal nail packages. Their nail designs are really so glamorous. From lady french, creative nail arts to shining crystals.....Damnz! Make you feel like you a blissful bride...kekekeke

Curently, they have this special CNY nail arts which costs S$5.00 / S$10.00 per nail depending which design you choose. But both are equally exquistely beautiful and I almost spent half an hour trying to choose which one to put on my toes.

Finally.....this is the nail design that I choose and with the artistry & creatively done by my manicurist...See my toe nails are so bling bling with the shining crystals on... Isn't beautiful?

You also get a good tea/drinks menu and are served with any tea of your choice while they doing your nails...

I tried their pedicure Berries Secret spa treatment. It is their current CNY special promotion And I must say - Two Thumbs up!!

My New Year Resolution for 2009

Time really flies...Year 2008 will be ending in five days time.

Thinking back, alot of things happened during this year 2008. May it be good or bad. I just hope 2009 is a better year for me. Everbody has their own new year resolutions to think about. So what's yours then?

And guess what? Esp for ladies..one of the most common & top fav resolution we hear about every year without fail ===>"GO ON DIET" OR "TO LOSE MORE WEIGHT OR SLIM DOWN" etc... That goes without saying for me too...kekekeke

~My Top 10 Resolutions for Year 2009~

1) MUST lose another 7kgs in 3 months time (as usual..)
2) Go for my lasik surgery
3) To look for better career prospects
4) To achieve my punctuality @ work
5) To clear my credit card debts
6) To take up Salsa Dance class
7) To go for my double eyelid surgery
8) Must make myself to go gym everyday
9) To take my ACII exam by Oct 2009
10)To catch up with my old friends more often

I bought this second hand uZap at S$150.00... all thanks to my mum's lobang. Her friend wants to sell this slimming belt via online at the offer price of S$150.00 because her friend hardly use it..think less than 5 times...duhz!

Anyway, when my mum called me and told me about this offer. I immediately told my mom to go ahead and buy from her. I find that her offer price is quite reasonable. The usual price costs at S$268.00 And the uZap looks quite brand new too! after I receive the stuff. What a good deal...

Jill Stuart Christmas Collection 2008

I have to say I'm overwhelmed by Jill Stuart Christmas Collection Set 2008. I first saw this collection when I was in Japan for holiday last month. It was instantly love at first sight... This set was suppose to release in Japan on 21 November 2008. Too bad...I have to fly back to Spore by that time it was officially launched. I was so sad that time and even asked their SA if they are able to release the set just for me since I'm a tourist over there and I couldnt wait till that time.

I simply love their packaging design. Their theme design are more of sweet pink and very princessly. One word to describe - "Beautiful"

So far, the whole Jill Stuart cosmetics collection is still quite exclusive to Japan. I have heard some JS cosmetics fans in Asia saying that it is going to be introduced to some other parts of Asia. Understand that Hong Kong & Taiwan are also selling Jill Stuart products. Looks like the demand is pretty high. I hope Singapore will be the next one to bring in Jill Stuart Brand. I think Spore will definitely have a market for this. We have alot of JS fans here in Spore rave about this product.

From then...I decided that I must own this makeup set no matter how or what... And lucky me! My wish came true...I finally got my JS collection thru CozyCot Beauty Sale! Of coz, I have to pay for higher price to have it. The Jill Stuart is a Japanese brand. It definitely be cheaper to purchase in Japan. But I read reviews that Jill Stuart products are currently the cheapest to buy in Taiwan. Of coz..talking about currency exchange rates...the Japanese Yen has recently been getting strong.

It has a beautiful pink vintage look. The set will include an eye palette (Vintage Glaze), a lip gloss (Deep Bordeaux), a solid perfume ring, a hand mirror, and a vintage-style clutch bag. As with all the limited-edition holiday items from Jill Stuart, I think this set will sell exceptionally well.

I heard that Taiwan released the set on 1 December 2008. Although Im going to Taiwan next year in Mar 2009...but I couldn't wait till that time. Who knows...it may not be selling anymore in Taiwan by that time I go there.

5 Tips to Great Shopping Sale....Ready, set, shop!

1. Shop for Lightest Items First
Begin browsing from small to big – for example, the accessories section, then the apparel floor, and finally homeware department. then you dun have to lug all the bulky shopping bas from one place to another. Save up your energy level!

2. Go When There's Less Crowd
Set out early during the opening hours, when the mall or shops have just opened for business. Usually, most of the stores open at 10AM - 11AM...(dunno can wake up early or not..hahaha) If possible, go your shopping trip on weekdays to avoid the crowds. (That means..have to take annual leave lah!)

3. Put On Your Comfy Footwear..
With loads of human traffic and a great deal of walking, the last thing you dun want is being crippled after walking from Orchard Road to Dobby Ghaut in your high heels.

4. Being "Kaisu" - Go Early During the Sale Period. Or best still...Go on the First Day of the Sale Period!
Good and cheap finds are snatched up faster than you can say "They're Mine!" So in order to get the best deals, stop by as soon as possible. The most popular sizes (e.g. S, M) tend to run out the fastest too, leaving those rarer sizes like XS or XL.
