Do Bears love Disco? You bet they do!

San Francisco in the late 70s and early 80s was a haven for Gay Disco and once a year it all comes back with DJ Jerry Bonham and REMEMBER THE PARTY! The Disco T-Dance where Bears, Otters, Cubs and all other manner of wildlife love to shake their bootys and don’t stop til they get enough!

This year’s party is a salute to the San Francisco Disco family, which means brothers sisters and especially Daddies are all welcome! If you’re in SF this October 7th and you love to hear some REAL CLASSIC GAY 70s & 80s DISCO and sweat, dance and flirt with the bears under the mirror balls then this is the dance for you! Bearotic Closing September 1st

Bears, cubs, otters, grizzlies and lovers of all that is fun and Bearotic:

It is with a proud heart and much love that I must announce the closing of Bearotic. Times have changed and personal situations have evolved, to the point that the site can no longer be managed in the way that it deserves. This site and the Bearotic Facebook Page will be shut down permanently on September 1st.

BignFuzzy and me (NetBear) have had the best time over the years bringing you all the articles, naughty bits and full-on fur-filled adventures that we found entertaining. We love the bear community who loved us right back.

It has been an honor serving you.

Scissor Sisters Baby Come Home Has Frothy Head

When the Scissor Sisters put out a new music video they make sure it will appeal to their large British fan-base. But, hey, even us Yanks can appreciate a big head in this micro-brew beer label parody from the rock band that we all love.

Here’s Babydaddy looking like one of the Capital One Visigoths with his arms folded in Viking gear. Now this is a brew we’d like to wrap ourselves around! Baby Come Home is a new British single off the group’s new album Magic Hour, available on iTunes.

Kylie filmed this electrifying video for Timebomb last month in central London, causing chaos as she strolled through some of the busiest streets, leading to huge speculation about what was being filmed.

It seems like all of the music I’ve been “discovering” recently has been from artists from “across the pond.” That is to say, they’re part of what feels like a new “British invasion” in music in a way that hasn’t been seen since the 80s and the domination of New Wave or the 90s invasion of Brit Pop. (And is it me, or is every actor on television these days replacing their British accent with that of an affected American one? Not that I mind, mind you. How hot is Kevin McKidd in “Grey’s Anatomy?” But that’s a different topic for another post.)
