always with his big smile, Yanto is a very happy guy! and did he loves his new cars?

Gerry is the son of Fred, and Fred is BBT’s ever first customer, and helping hand when needed… Gerry came to help and washed cars@ BBT already at age of 12!

Well Gerry married yesterday Natasja, a very lovely lady who even took care for my Grandma in her last years (thanks so much for that again Natasja we will never forget!)

Offcourse real tribe members (and only tribe members!) gets to the cityhall in style… BBT style, that is!

All started when my son Nicolas asked me if he could held his yearly class lecture @ BBT, between the cars as he chose VW Beetle as “his” topic. So we went over to school with two BBT busses to pick up all kids from his class and drove to BBT where he first gave his lecture followed with a visit to the BBT’s car walhalla.

The boys been picked up by our 1959 Westy….….while the girls had limo fever!

We don’t stop, keep’on moving, moving… a short update from what passed at BBT lately…

The 1956 oval window convertible on its way to its new owner, Congratulations Ivo, You bought a nice project!

The Cherry picker on its way to Pascal, its new owner from France, plain in the Bourgonge area, I’m sure it will help to harvest grapes…:)

fresh arrived from California, 1966 11 window kombi… its available like it is or will be detailed soon!

As the euro connection for Terror garaga Indonesia we picked up this SO 42… it will be for sale soon…

always nice to peep into an open truck, and even more nice to see what’s in this one….

Fresh from a barn very very far North… 1954 ragtop and 1954 sedan… perfect project to make a shittering beauty out of both… so yes they’re for sale..

A car we restored over 15 years ago, doesn’t it hold up steady? 2.0litre Oettinger Engine, Porsche 5 speed transmission, interior in Suede and leather, they don’t come any better, the perfect match to cruize… the owner thought we should give it a serious check up after all this years… we’re honoured!

the clean blue fifty two ready for its delivery to its new home in South Germany, T5 in rest position, the 1965 21 window awaiting its potential customer, who bought it when he saw it!

The workshop…. the orange convertible got one new floor plate, because the battery stayed the whole “barn” period and eat the battery area… the 60 “Kieselgrau” rag top got two new floor plates… previous owner didn’t change the rag top cover not for nothing it seems…

back area gets always more busy…. a small little 82 Mexico beetle came in as a parts donor….

wowh! Werner, friend of the house for sure, bought this crazy new daily! HMMMMM we love the sound!

But be careful parking things like this on BBT parking lot, we simply like to sell things…. fast! … LOL, sorry Werner we will never do it again!…

we got three new baby’s in our stocks… wiiihiiiieeee and three different, a little in all shapes… and all budgets…

let’s start with the Lady and the Vagabond..

this August 1958 build all original black widow is really mint condition… unbelievable all original black deep shiny paint, never been touched!

the lady loves style, she dressed her up with very nice period Marchall driving lights and the sleek Albert swan neck mirrors

a stylish lady is clean inside, this one better then all the rest… this IS original! never touched, mint condition, will never get anything close to it anymore… this is the kind of car BBT is known for, well here we have a real deal! priced cheaper then anybody can restore one, this is a real bargain in terms of investments! don’t let it slip away!

the vagabond rag top, drove too many times “open air”… build July 1960 in golfblue, is an extreme cool project, cheap priced, about half the price of the sum of its parts, don’t force us to dismantle this one! Do your duty and safe this beauty! Nothing beats rag tops!

last but not least… the Lady in red… 1961 Ruby Red, a gem…. in the color of a gem stone!

an older repaint in its original color hold up pretty well, nice driver, can be used daily for sure, and priced in that way… very moderate, a lot of car for reasonable money… its recession, and BBT set prices right on!

interior is all original, a typical BBT car, nice, sweet and cosy!

BBT participate in a social project from a local school for children with a light mental difference. Every Monday one class of this school will come to BBT to help our goods in dept to repack and pack certain items in the right boxes, wrap glass etc etc. This project is especially to learn “our” students the “real life” and how things going in a “real” company. supervising of this is done by two school supervisors, to lead all in the right direction.

Yesterday Monday May 07 was the first try out, and it was a Big Success, for us (as many work was done) but before all for the student themselves as they all likes very very much what they’ve been done!

look what fun they had…

Special thanks to all students from “our” class for all the work flawlessly performed, Annemie and Wim from Kristus Koning school, and to BBT Chris and Danny to help this project taking off! Let’s work all on a better world, where all and everybody feel happy! We @ BBT are happy we can help on this aim for “our” students”.

BBT’s submarine tranny transplant…

BBT’s own schwimmwagen needed a transmission overhaul badly… so first step is to take transmission out.. as from what we could see this was the very first time this tranny went out! hmmm originality!…:)

First step…engine out, now we can see clearly the baby that has to come out…

Koen, BBT’s trusty mechanic and his work of art!

messy content after removal… the tranny always leaked, already according previous owner, probably one of the reasons the body never have rusted? who will tell!

anything You take off a schwimmwagen, it will always like more on a boat….:)

the fresh born over aged baby…:) Koen looks sceptic after 11 hours of hard work, in a schwimmwagen everything has to come out from above, cut a hole and take it from below would be a bad idea, as we will have problems ever schwimming again…

engine and transmission bay cleaned up, looks already way better….

from here we will bring the transmission to a very specialised shop with a large experience to rebuild ZF limited slip differentials from war time, we can’t wait to receive back and mount everything back together… to be continued.
