I saw snow for the first time this weekend. I was on a retreat, with my youth group, in the mountains. I went on a 5 mile hike with some of my friends. We hiked up and we hiked down, we slid, we fell, we laughed. It was a great time. I have the cuts and bruises to prove it too! Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera on the hike. Therefore, no pictures of that beauty.

So basically I found a friggin adorrrraaable shop on Etsy. :D It's so cute! Loretta Jo's is a shop that makes headbands, bows, and headscarves. They're perfectly priced, vintage, easy to use and ADORABLE. I can't get over it! I got my package in the mail and (literally) jumped up and down with excitement. The packaging is also really cute.

(Because I was too excited about what was inside, I kinda forgot to take a picture of the packaging...but luckily there are some on her shop..This is what it looked like.)

I opened it up, immediately twisted it around my head and didn't even have to do anything else. It's genius! The wire helps it stay in place. This wire headband was sent to me for free, but that in no way, shape or form, changes my opinion of the product.

I think it's so cute, and it's gonna be hard to not wear it ALL THE TIME.

You can wear it with your hair up, hair down. Whatever!

It may have been that I lived in the same state as this creative seller, but the shipment was VERY fast. I barely had to wait at all! (Which is really good, because I don't like waiting.)

So basically, I just found the cutest shop ever! The service is great, the products are adorable, and it's very fast! I discovered it through a blog, and I thought I'd give it a try. These products were sent to me for free, but that does not change my opinion in any way, shape or form.

I'm obsessed with these accessories! They're really high quality, and not that delicate. My first impression was that they were gonna last.

The rings are knuckle rings. So they are supposed to be really small. They can fit like a normal ring on my pinky, or just above my knuckles on my other fingers. I like to wear them side by side. they go with just about anything! :) Note: The <3 ring started to dye my finger green...just a little, so I put some clear nail polish on the ring and it stopped right away! :)

The pyramid necklace is amazing. I'm so in love with it. I really like the studs that go along with it. I think this style is really in right now. It's a bib necklace, but it also gives a hipster twist with the pyramids.

I love the gold chain necklace and earrings because you mix and match it with anything. It can make you look tough, or it can make you look feminine. Either way you're in style. When I first opened the package and picked this up, it was really heavy. Not gonna break very easily.

The service was incredible. Very friendly, welcoming and understanding.

Imma Gettin' Toned

So basically I've decided to get toned. YES. That's right, you read it correctly! ME...toned!

(say whaaaaa O.o)

I had my first salad today. ^_^ (Haha I'm totally kidding...I actually really like salad...but today's was extra good.) Usually I just eat salad as a side, but today it was my lunch. I ate it along with a glass of green tea.

Lately my workout plan has been pretty basic.

When I wake up I do

50 crunches
80 squats
50 sit ups
10 lunges on each leg
20 push ups
and planks until I'm tired.

And then I do the same thing each night.

With my squats and crunches, I add 5 more each time I work out. So in the morning it's 50... then at night it's 55...then the next morning, it's 60, and so on.

I've also been interested in starting HIIT. (High Intensity Interval Training) Which is basically when you do slow, relaxing cardio for a minute or two, and then you do intense cardio for a minute or two..and then relax again.

So today, I tried doing HIIT, while running. IN THE RAIN. (besides the fact that I can't listen to music because I don't want my iPod to get wet, that is like the coolest thing evaaarrr)

I can do this!!

Basically, I miss winter...a lot.

I love summer...Especially the break! But I would much rather be cold than hot, because let's face it: In the cold, you can keep adding layers, but in the summer.....you can't keep taking em off....

I miss cozy sweaters, and hot chocolate, and coffee ^_^ and christmas lights! And candles and fireplaces.

I mean, you can have all of these things in the summer, but they're just not as enjoyable. :/

So, I like to take this frustration out on my blog. :) And I like to make it as cozyyyy as possible! I post pictures of coffee, and fireplaces, and forests, and christmas lights and ahhhhh cozyyy sweaters and beds. ^_^ And it has beach sounds playing in the background. And rainstorms. I just really love these things.

Zombie Love

So basically, I'm obsessed with zombies. It has come to my attention lately that my favorite TV shows and movies are all about zombies. It's slightly disturbing, is it not?

I love, love, LOVE The Walking Dead. (Don't even get me started.)

and Zombieland. omgsh.

Last night I watched Warm Bodies for the first time with some friends. Holy Moses, that is quite possibly my new favorite movie. It was hilarious and mildly gory...yet adorable?

Yeah, I'm a 16 year old girl and apparently I'm supposed to be crying over Nicholas Sparks movies, and you know, Ryan Gosling and Channing Tatum...but I just like zombies (oh and superheroes), ok?

There's just something about em.

So basically, I have the cutest boyfriend ever. I may be biased, (I'm not. It's true.) but he is just so charming. :3 He really gets me too. In fact, to ask me to prom....he baked a cookie cake (FOOD! He just understands me.<3) with my favorite cookie (White chocolate macadamia nut cookie. . .Say that 5 times fast.) And wrote "Prom?" in yellow icing. -The cute part is that he tried to make orange (my favorite color) and it turned out yellow. (A little red would've done the trick...but I liked the yellow.) And wowwowow guys, it tasted so good. By the time I got home it said "pro" and I showed my mom and she was just like "...?..."

He gave me the cake when we were on a picnic together in our favorite little spot, and right as he pulled the cake out I had shoved a huge spoonful of mashed potatoes in my mouth (Keepin' it classy) and couldn't talk. So I just sat there chewing, red faced and giggling with my mouth full... I'm sure he thought was SOOOO attractive.

When I returned the pan that the cake came in, I thought it would be best if I baked a little something in return. I went with an apple crisp. I had leftover apple slices so I thought I'd be creative and give him my answer in writing. so of course, with the apple slices, I spelled out "NO WAY!"

Isn't he just the sweetest?! ;) Yes. Yes he is.

I really liked the way he asked me. It was cute and intimate. :) Extravagant is nice, yeah...but I think this was more special than that. It was personal.

And today marks 5 months! <3

Ok...I don't even know...

So yeah..basically... 5 absolutely amazing months. <3

So basically....I just made the most (tasty) unhealthy meal ever and I have no regrets. (Well....maybe I regret it a little...but it's nothing a little extra working out can't fix. ;) hehe)

FIRST...I made a Pizza Biscuit Bake

Prep Time: 15 Minutes -Start to finish: 40 Minutes.

8 Servings.
( I didn't eat all by myself... calm down.)

You'll need:

3 1/3 cups Original Bisquick® mix

1 cup milk

2 cans (8 oz each) pizza sauce (2 cups)

1 package (8 oz) sliced pepperoni

(I didn't have pepperoni..but I had crushed pineapple and ham...so I made a Hawaiian pizza. Use whatever toppings you prefer!)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)

1. Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9- inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

2. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and milk until soft dough forms. Drop half of dough by spoonfuls evenly over bottom of baking dish (dough will not completely cover bottom of dish). Drizzle 1 can pizza sauce over dough. Scatter half of the pepperoni (In this case, pineapple and ham.) over sauce. Top with 1 cup of the cheese. Repeat layers with remaining dough, pizza sauce, toppings and cheese.

3. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

I didn't have a big enough pan to use all the dough...so I only did one layer. - With the extra dough...I made desert.

Cinnamon rolls!!

(The oven was already preheated...but I set it to 350)

I rolled the extra dough out into narrow long strips..

I mixed cinnamon, brown sugar and melted butter together in a bowl. (No exact measurements.)

I brushed the cinnamon mixture onto the rolls and took one end and rolled it tightly towards the other end - like a sleeping bag.

Cut in half (Now you should have 2 cinnamon rolls!)

And place on greased baking sheet.

Bake for about 15 minutes.

Glaze:

While the rolls are in the oven....mix confectioner's sugar and milk together.

Once the rolls are out- let cool for a few minutes...while still warm, drizzle the glaze on the rolls and stuff your face like no one's looking!

ENJOY! :D

You might wanna eat these while working out...just to be sure. ;)

Sooo...basically I have no idea what I'm doing with a blog, but hopefully it won't be a total disaster. ;)
I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon and I'll really enjoy it. (As I did with tumblr.) I wish I could do lots of giveaways, but I just don't have stuff that people really want. Haha :P But who knows...maybe later?
Maybe I'll post DIY's, reviews? Idk.. OOTD's? I will definitely be posting little every day stories about my life. - After all...it is about the little things. ;) Stayyyy cooool! :3
