The Red Velvet is peppered throughout with creamy Guittard White and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.  It was a hit with both adults and kids!

The Ultimate Chocolate Chip cookies was hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had.  Sorry, Mom!  Sorry, Grandma!  Perfect flavor, perfect texture, perfect everything!

I like cake, but I don’t usually like cake-flavored things.  The Birthday Cake cookie is a definite exception.  A sugar cookie covered in sprinkles with white vanilla chips throughout, this cookie is pretty and delicious.

Malted milk dough with chopped up malt balls, crushed Oreos, and Guittard white chocolate chips combine to make a yummy and unique flavor explosion.  Just like all the other cookies from The Cravory, the Orea Milkshake cookie had a delightful center that was both moist and chewy.

I shared the Chocolate Truffle cookie with some friends and one said it was “like eating a brownie.”  Covered in powdered sugar, but filled with chunks of Lindt Swiss Chocolate Truffles, this cookie is velvety and rich.

The savory Rosemary Balsamic was an unexpected treat.  One friend described it as a “dense rich bread but a crumbly cookie.”  We both felt that even though it is savory, it could follow a meal as a dessert.

The cookies were wrapped in pairs, so I received two of each of the six flavors mentioned above.  I shared with several friends and their children and the cookies were a hit with everyone.  Everything about The Cravory cookie experience was superior from the packaging to the ingredients to the texture.  I can honestly say that I expect all cookies from now on to fall short compared to cookies from The Cravory.

Well, I am embarrassed. National Pretzel Day was last month (April 26). We got a big box in the mail from Snyder’s of Hanover. It had pretzels, recipe ideas, party horns, and more pretzels!

My whole family was really excited. My daughter picked out a few kinds of pretzels to take to school, even nicely including the gluten free pretzels in case anyone in her class needed them. The 1st grade at her school celebrated National Pretzel Day with a snack from Snyder’s of Hanover! Not to be outdone, I brought a bag to work and my husband made sure to have some with our oldest son during the day. The whole family celebrated National Pretzel Day from our own separate locations!

I didn’t do anything fun for National Pretzel Day (my work and family schedules were conspiring to keep me way too busy!), but I do like making recipes with pretzels. My favorites are the Strawberry Pretzel Salad that I associate with my Aunt Peggy and the Pretzel Turtles that my daughter and I always make for Christmas. I also tried (with great success) a pretzel crusted chocolate chip cookie bar this year. Fortunately, I still have some pretzels at home, so I might get to creating this weekend! My baby turned 1 last week. As part of his birthday celebration this weekend, I made him his own little chocolate cake. Unfortunately, when thinking about this plan, I forgot we wouldn’t be home for me to clean him off after he ate/played with the cake. We had his party at a local park. Luckily for me, I was prepared. I had brought my pack of Huggies Simply Clean wipes.

My son thoroughly enjoyed his cake. I enjoyed that, while it took a few wipes (the cake was EVERYWHERE), his skin was clean in no time.

I plan on keeping my son in his 5-point car seat until he has reached the maximum weight requirement. Not only is it safest that way but I also paid a fortune for it so he’s staying in it! -The headrest can be adjusted with one hand very simply.
-The Monterey comes with 2 cup holders; One on each side. A lot of other companies require you to purchase extra features and attachments which I won’t usually do and don’t like to do.

Cons

-Diono seats are available through a number of retail stores and online stores as well, however there aren’t many places in my area that carry them. This might be different for everyone though, so not a huge con.

Morning sickness is awful. Enough said. I considered myself lucky when I was pregnant with my son because I really didn’t have it too bad. My heart goes out to all the moms I’ve met who were sick for the full nine months. I love having a son. I love playing cars and trucks, reading books about planets, getting messy in the backyard and watching my little guy play sports.
